I ve driven past this hidden gem for six years and never knew it was there! I was invited to meet up with a friend and she eats there quite frequently! I had an egg white omelette, a huge pancake, and hash browns. The portions were a nice size and the food was delicious! I ll be back!

Bland is an understatement. I didnt know you could mess up breakfast food. Floor was sticky and made a horrible noise as people walked through. Server was sweet, but seemed lost and got our order wrong. Thankfully it was cheap, because it was trash

Customer experience was not bad. The cashier/waiter could have been friendlier, but she wasn t rude. My food was the issue my potatoes and sausage were good but grits and toast were bad. You could tell the toast was not fresh prior to toasting and the mountain of butter on it made it that much worse. The grits tasted like nothing.. literally water with texture. It was a $20 basic breakfast that I definitely regret.

After hearing great things and seeing tempting pictures, my sister and I were eager to try Midcities Cafe for breakfast. We both ordered different dishes she went for chicken and waffles, while I opted for an omelette with hash browns and a pancake on the side. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. My sister found her chicken to be less than satisfying, noting a frozen taste and an oily texture that suggested it wasnt freshly prepared. My omelette, on the other hand, lacked seasoning and was disappointingly dry. The one highlight was the pancake, although it arrived at our table cold, which was unexpected. To add to our disappointment, we both fell ill with food poisoning shortly after eating there. Concerned, we decided to discard the leftovers we had taken home for our dog. It was a disappointing experience overall, and we hope that hygiene standards in the kitchen are given more attention in the future.

MidCities Cafe is a must try if you re looking for good food for breakfast, brunch or lunch. They open from 7am-2pm. The owner (Jenny) and her wait staff; specially Aiden and Jessica are so nice, attentive and so polite! Their service is always outstanding. I come in at least twice a month on a Sunday during brunch time. I come either by myself or with my two daughters; they love the it too. They always get the steak and eggs. Ever since I started to come here they have been so welcoming. I ve been coming here since 2020. The place is always clean. The food is outstanding. I ve had their steak and eggs, chicken fried chicken, meat lover bowl, biscuit and gravy and their Texas burger. The cooks do an eggcellent job with the food. Over medium eggs always perfect; just like I like that. I totally recommend anyone trying it out.

Mom n pop type place, foods ok, people/ staff were nice. Jesus stuff all over the walls though. Yuck. Cool sculptural flowers over our booth, those were cool. I had the Mexican breakfast, forgot what it was called. Decent, not great. If I was stuck outside Dallas on a nightmare layover again, probably wouldn t go back? Vegetarian options: Meat on everything but willing and able to prepare sans meats. Wheelchair accessibility: Didn t see steps, lots of tables easy for wheelchairs.

This is the second time we ve been here. The first time was so good and the service was great but this time the service was terrible and the food was cold. We came in and we re the only ones here and waited forever to be seated because the servers were in the back laughing and talking very loudly about how they no longer smoked weed. Then once we were seated our server Aiden was awful and never kept up with us. At one point him and the cook were sitting at a nearby table talking while we waited to have our order taken. Thinking we need to find a new spot to eat breakfast.

Great Place: Food A, Atmosphere A and Service A. Extensive Review: I was really upset when I arrived, and the whole minute it took them to seat me I was enraged! Winter was my server and she was polite and peaceful. The music was too! Clean, recently renovated, well decorated and simple. Food came out in good time and I was already doing better. It tasted really good and even the fruit was fresh (berries). Antonio, head chef came out to greet one of the patrons, and took some time to greet me. Great people! My teenager and I like eating breakfast here. Very attentive servers. Entrees are tasty. Fast service. The owner is a good-hearted amazing Soul! This place is the poster child for a deep south diner. Went on lunch waitress came to table asked for drink order informed her I didn t want a drink I already know what I want to order she refused to take my order stating I have to wait until her other tables were ready to order and place their order first. The other tables were still looking at menu it was large party sitting at two tables. I left immediately. I have on a pink jacket and pink hair with a 44DD. She called me Sir. Waitress came back 3 times to repeat my order, as she didnt write anything down. 25 minute mark, just noticed 3 top who was sat long before I walked in is still waiting. Scramble eggs, cold. Been coming here since they opened and the place is always upgrading their service and atmosphere without the impact to the food or price (especially during and after COVID). On my last visit, they now have new lighting, furniture, and digital ordering along with antiseptic lotion at every table... And prices still seem to be the same. The waitress is extremely knowledgeable of the menu. The food is good and served at the appropriate temperature but I feel like the timing could be better. Its nitpicking to say but I think it would be better to serve the main dish and the side separately, in this instance a foot diameter pancake, because as I was eating my omelette it cooled. That is my only complaint. As a suggestion, they could do with some sort of door chime to alert them when customers enter if no one is in the front of the house for whatever reason.

Visited this restaurant today in hopes of eating breakfast. This is a very small, quiet, yet busy little spot. I was seated and for more than 20 minutes, servers walked passed me, never offered water, coffee, or to take my order. Several tables were served a couple of times, but I was NEVER acknowledged. After the 20 minute wait, I sat and counted to 100 before I walked out. As I walked out, one of the servers at the register said, Have a good day! I said, Thank you. The food looked great on Google, but I will never know what it taste like, because apparently I am not a regular , a local or welcomed .

Im sorry. I like to be positive, especially when it means peoples livelihood. My husband and I wanted to see if this would be our new favorite stop for breakfast or lunch. Disappointing. We like the small, quaint business. The restaurant floor is well laid out for flow of traffic, serving, and clearing tables. Restrooms are clean (big thing for me). The background music is charmingly mood setting. We were provided seating and beverage, and our order taken in a reasonable amount of time. From there on it was downhill. It took quite some time to receive our food. Clearly it had been sitting for a while because it was cold. The flavors werent there - bland. Our server was absent much of the time. Our table was cleared while already awaiting the check. Waiting another length of time, it didnt show until we finally got up to leave (a lady standing outside the kitchen saw us getting up as a queue and brought it to us). The prices were a little expensive, especially for the food we were served. I would like to note that there was one server who was a pleasure to watch in action. He was the most patient, pleasant server and was always on the floor. No names here, but this young man deserves a raise and could probably turn that place around single handed.

Became a semi-frequent regular here over the past 2 years or so. The food portions are *enormous* compared to contemporary competition, and have a freshness to them you wont get from nearby Ihop or Dennys while being priced a little less. Fried food is where its at in this diner; they give you a small mountain of anything potato-based. My roommate and I joke that they shove a whole potato through a grinder for each serving. The fried chicken and sweet breakfast breads (pancakes, waffles, french toast) are of the best things here and all big portions. But their sandwiches are surprising too, crunchy and plentiful. My favorite lunch item is the catfish (not fried); a bit salty, but extremely flavorful. Kids meals arent pre-microwaved garbage. The kids fried chicken for example will be the same as whats on your plate. The grits are hit-or-miss depending on whos back there. Usually its nice and thickly, but on occasion its very watery. Sides for lunch items are about average, more than acceptable, burgers are big but ok. You wont find unlimited pancakes or kids-eat-free deals. I wish the restaurant were cooler, but they probably have an old kitchen duct system that combats the A/C, with windows facing the sunrise. Winter its perfect. The seating and such is a little worn for wear but its not gross or destroyed. Note, this little diner has some supply chain issues, so sometimes items will not be available. They also prep their hamburger meat fresh daily, so dont expect to get a cheeseburger before 10am. Some of the salad dressings vary in availability (unless you want ranch). And fyi, some of the regular customers can get very loud, especially when they talk to each other. Conversations are mostly harmless, just loud. The most complaint Id have is staffing. The wait staff have to double as hosts and bussers, and get very, very little complete training. So most of what they learn is on-the-job through regulars like myself. I cant seem to establish a regularly preferred waitress because they come-and-go every few weeks or months, almost always due to quitting by finding something better. Some waitresses have been terrible in terms of asking for help and maintaining traffic (people getting up and leaving because too many customers; unless youre a 15-year diner veteran, you cant handle 13 tables by yourself), but lots of places have staffing issues in this economy. This has also led to the cancellation and ignoring of dine-out orders. The Korean lady who currently runs the place is very nice, hard working, determined, and very enjoyable to speak to. She has 2 sons who often come in on the weekends and holidays after 8:30 to 9am or so and they are some of the best waitstaff Ive seen in any place.

Must be the Irish in me. Lets talk breakfast potatoes. The potatoes served are the freezer bag diced variety found at your local grocery. No issue there, you can make those taste pretty good... Like frozen French fries, if they are made fresh to order they taste pretty good. So Mid Cities Cafe, what about the diced potatoes? My experience makes me think you probably pre-make the potatoes in bulk. The critique of the potatoes: a bit dried out, sunk in, and not hot. The outside texture was chewy. The crispness it had achieved in a past life had faded away. These poor potatoes could only look at their picture on the menu as being the golden brown potatoes they use to be. Nope, these poor guys tasted more like they had been cooked crisp, then refrigerated, and served reheated. Why not freshly cooked to order like French fries?

The Best kept secret in the Euless/Bedford area, for Breakfast and Lunch! Ate there for the first time today even though I have lived in Euless for several years. Just never noticed it before. The Staff is very pleasant and friendly as well as quick and accurate with your order. The food is excellent. Good size portions and very tasty. The cafe is very clean and they even have hand sanatizer at every table. All this at a reasonable price. Anxious to go again. Hours are from 7am to 2pm Daily

This is def a local recommendation. The food is great. We had the pancakes, cinnamon French toast, and regular French toast. The only downfall is the amount of time it takes to get your food, and even get your food ordered. Seems like a lot of high school kids work there...and they only had one person waiting all the tables when we were there. Took FOREVER!!!

The wait time was understandable because of how busy it was. What was inexcusable was that the owner/manager ignored my husband and I when one of her regulars came in, so she greeted them before us, despite us standing at the front for 10 minutes. It took 30 minutes for anyone to come to my table. It took another 20 minutes for me to get a beverage, another 15 for my order to be taken, and a whole hour for my food to be brought out. It doesnt stop there, they took the order incorrectly! So my husbands food was not what he ordered, He specified the chicken fried chicken multiple times, and yet.. chicken fried steak. Also, we never did get our beverages refilled. I think a good indication of whether the service was good, is if the waitress/waiter never lets you see the bottom of your coffee mug... 100% disappointed and absolutely do not recommend.

I had brunch here and wasnt a big fan. My scrambled eggs were overcooked, the corned beef hash was mostly potato and barely had any corned beef, and the eggs benedict had WAY too much hollandaise sauce and ended up making the entire dish soggy. My son and I ate there yesterday, Wednesday September 8th at about 8 in the morning. And we had a very bad experience with the waitress. I found her to be very rude and unprofessional. We ordered the waffle combo, which the menu said came with three pieces of meat. When we got our order there were only two pieces of meat, so I asked about the other piece. She said this particular combo only comes with two pieces and I asked her to check the menu. When she did she discovered her mistake but instead of being polite about it she rudely walked off in a huff and brought my piece of meat a few minutes later. And from that point on she was very rude. The food was good however. If we decide to go there again and shes working Ill just turn around and leave.
