Great pool. However, it is super dumb for M-F Open Swim hours to be 1-4 in the summer. Most people are at work. It would be better for working parents to be able to bring their kids later in the evening.

Usually it s a pretty nice spot to go swimming, but I suppose we jumped the gun on this as it was the beginning of march and it seemed nice outside but super cold once you got in the water. I thought I remember the pool being heated more so.

We hosted my daughters 7th birthday here and everything was great. The staff was friendly and helpful, the lifeguard was attentive, and the pool was very clean and clear. We did our party during open swim, but there were only 1 or 2 families there so we had the pool mostly to ourselves. Its very inexpensive for a kids birthday party compared to trampoline parks, arcades, etc. especially if you want to invite a lot of children. My daughter and her friends had a great time getting to go swimming in January, so it was definitely a win.

Was at a birthday party on Saturday. They had a family member in a wheelchair. Her father helped her in, but needed help getting her out. When asked for the lift was I initially told it was FOR LIFEGUARD USE ONLY. I was in complete and utter amazement at that response. Then when checking with the front, they were told no one had been trained on its use, they were only given the keys. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE! Poor girl sat, waiting. Crowd gathered, staring. Attention was drawn where absolutely unnecessary. DO BETTER. TRAIN BETTER!!

It was filled to BEYOND capacity. No longer have diving boards. Kids horseplaying and running everywhere. Someone was tossing a football and it was hitting people. Never was told to stop. Parents were arguing with the lifeguards for correcting their kids. Again, way too many people in ONE pool.

Showed up with my kids to be informed that it wasn t open to the public. I wish public hours should be updated in more detail. *Edit The time that we did go. The pool was warm and very clean area. Lifeguards are kind and watching the kids well. Definitely coming back to this location. We had visited another pool in Irving and lifeguards were not too kind. Definitely going to stay in this location.

I enrolled my son in private swim lessons and he has been a swimmer at this facility for a few months now and i will say that he has come a long way... However, i have recently changed my mind about this place. Pros: Cheap open swim admission. Warm pool. Clean bathrooms. Cons: Very young staff. Rude staff. Not very well venilated in the summer. The front desk girls will put you on hold when you call. No refund or credit if you miss a class. I also had issues with the Coordinator named Elise. She doesnt seem to know much about her job. I spoke to her on the phone and asked her to call me back. She said she would and NEVER called me back. Eventually i had to go up there to get something resolved. I really did not like that the swim instructors and lifeguards are young, none of them look to be older than 21. I witnessed a few of them playing around and talking with each other rather than keeping their eyes on the water and the small kids. My sons instructor was really good when i first enrolled him. But after awhile he began to show some kiddish ways towards the end of his lessons and began to get frustrated with him. My child is only 5 years old, i wanted him to learn safety and how to not drown, not training for the olympics. When my son told him he was not comfortable with doing what the instructor told him to do, my child told me the instructor told him he HAD to. I pulled my child out and will be enrolling him somewhere else. The instructors here need to learn how to be patient and keep their eyes on the water and the kids. And the manager needs to hire more mature/older/experienced staff and maybe observe the staff as well from time to time.

There is only one word to describe this place. Perfect. The water is the perfect temperature and it s just a very family friendly location for kids of all ages. The admission fee is only $2 and they have a free snack/lunch for everyone. DEFINITELY coming back

Staff is nice. However I could not find any Life Guard Training info after being told it was offered. I called up and the desk staff told me to call back later in the week when they had the schedule and I called and wasnt able to communicate well enough with the staff. Pros of the facility: Heated water to allow the facility to be open all year. Nice staff with very lenient rules. Cons: Poor facilities. Only 2 toilets and 2 showers on the boys side which makes it difficult if a lot of people need to go, at the end of swim practice for example. The showers are poor. With a broken handle and no shower heads on both although there used to be a head on one. A light always out in the second shower, its not dark it just shows how poorly maintained the place is. For some reason if you have a scratch it will immediately sting when touching the handles. The only urinal is in a corner where there always seems to be standing puddles of who knows what. The lockers can be forced open using leverage and a towel even with a very thick lock such as my own. I have had some friends come back with their locker forced open and everything taken. And have had multiple pairs of googles stolen as

Have to say deeply disappointed in the way the pool is managed. Let me start with some pros first as there are some. Pros: 1. Facility was very clean. The lockers were not made of metal which was really nice as there was no rust to contend with. Nice. 2. Pool was also in great condition, and the water at a comfortable level, tho maybe a tad too warm for serious lap swimmers. Cons: Pool manager or policies not geared toward adult lap swimmers. Here is why. I arrived early, took a shower, and waiting for the open lap swim time which was 8 pm. I asked the lifeguard for the designated lanes, and he pointed me to one, and I started my 30 minute swim. About 10 minutes in two other swimmers joined, probably high school or middle students, and that was fine. They were slow, but I was able to adjust my stroke without losing too much of my heart rate target. About 20 minutes in, I was asked to move lanes because a Scout Troup had kids to test. Reminder, this was a designated lap lane according to the lifeguard who I spoke with. The only other lap lane was being occupied by 5 or more kids. Right. So me, a 40-year swimmer, was placed with kids who in no way could swim at my level or speed. This was not only unfair to me, but incredibly unsafe and unfair to those kids. I tried two laps but then exited the pool for their safety. You never mix disparate skill levels in one lap lane, NOR do you change the purpose of a lane on the fly after you designate that lane for lap swimming and have an active swimmer working on his 30 minute routine. I raised the concern to the on-site manager who disregarded my concerns outright. If you are s serious adult lap swimmer, avoid this pool unless management adjusts their policies...or perhaps understands them..

Pretty clean pool and shower area!! Staff is very friendly and they are super cheap only cost $2 . Life vest for cbildrch are free and first come first serve. Also locker room (bring your own locks) with showers! Only bad thing is life guards does nothing about the big kids jumping in on top of the babies and they are great swimmers they should be in the 7-9 ft area not the 3-5.(my opinion) hope this helps!!!

All of the swim classes our child has taken this year are well taught and reasonably priced. The pool itself and the womens changing area/locker room look well-maintained. (Having never been in the mems, I cannot speak to that.) The staff is very helpful.

I am usually here for lap swim time so its rarely crowded. The showers leave a lot to be desired. At my last visit one was broken. The curtains also werent in great condition and turning brown at the bottom. Also, theres an older lady working there. I dont know if she was having a bad day or what but she was very short with me. When my laps pass is used up, I dont plan on renewing it. Weve also been to several parties here. Its great if its a private party but parties during open swim are total chaos.

Hello, Im from Miami but have family in DFW, this is something that has become a tremendous pleasure to see when i come to GP. Theres an African American man that seems to have a calling for customer service, this is my 3rd review about this individual. The entire staff is great and I need to say this, but this guy stands out. I was there Tuesday and as I was about to leave when I see the guy having a conversation with a young lady I saw teach earlier. She was visibly upset. Well they spoke and I could tell he was counseling her on whatever was the issue. She went from tears to smiles in minutes. This is a gift, and I later found his name to be Torry. Please let him know how impressed Ive been with my last 3 visits and also how much my aunt loves the swim lessons there. Thank you .
