I came to this place around 2:30 pm and I guess the lunch rush was over since it wasnt many people there. The environment was real nice and clean. Now for the food, I ordered the quesabirria plate with rice and beans with consome dipping. I also ordered two tamales and it came with sauces, one was green and the other was a darker sauce.. it came out to be around $15...it was reasonable for the price I paid. I had it to go. So I drove 15 min to the crib before I got to eat it and let me just say, it was still friggin Tasty despite the 15 minute wait before eating. Everything about it just seemed fresh made like it just came out of the kitchen and brought to my table as if I was to dine in.... The quesabirria was really good, the meat was tender and it had cheese. Even the white Onion and the green stuff was fresh which I like because other places seems like its old ingredients, this one was fresh. The rice and beans tasted great also. The tamales is probably one of the best ones Ive had in a long time. So shout out to the food preparer and the kitchen cook. They did a great job. A lot of times they never get credit... Also the shorter girl that helped me take my order was really pleasant. I was very demanding because I asked for water, and then I asked for lemon and she answered some of my questions. She didnt give me any attitude whatsoever.. she was great.....Overall Im definitely coming back and 100% would RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!

I visit Casa San Miguel often, once or twice, sometimes 3 times a week. I come for breakfast, lunch or dinner. To this day, anytime Ive been there the food is on point. The atmosphere is casual, very comfortable, just a bit cold for me but that is easily fixed. I asked for my eggs to be a certain way and the cook came out to ask if they were to my liking. I love that! This is a family owned business, very hard working people. Gabby, Tia Maria, Lupita, Rocio Javi are all great, there are others just as amazing. The owners are always present. The weekends are busy so get out there early. Id like to ask Grand Prairie residents to support this local business and bring your friends.

Came here for the first time and the food was delicious. Some of the best tacos I ve had. I ordered the taco plate. Got the pollo, barbacoa, and birria and they had lots of flavor. The onion and cilantro completed the dish. Our waitress was also friendly and checked up on us regularly. Definitely recommend trying if you re craving Mexican food or are in the area for something yummy!!

This place is nice, they serve chips and 3 different types of salsas. Very accomadating and the food is to die for. I dont recommend eating the barbacoa or trompo.. Barbacoa tasted more salty than the actual meat and the trompo was dry and burnt. Everything else was delicious; my husband ordered enchiladas potosinas and i had the chilaquiles verdes.

I ordered take out. I wanted the Burrito and listed the choices and still got rice which I did not want. The beans were barely a tablespoon? It said with Everything on the top of the container. My husband hates avocado thus he says no guacamole so his Burrito had no rice or avocado but at least he didnt those 2 items he will not eat. The ingredients were fresh but all that annoying rice made my Burrito too dry and less flavorful. I just wish attention was paid to the list.

TLDR: New Favorite Restaurant! This is the best meal Ive had in months. The salsa is amazing and the perfect amount of spicy, the chips are thick and crunchy... and thats before I even had my meal. I had the 3 taco plate with nopales, birria, and al pastor. All of them were wonderful. I was only trying nopales again because I thought I didnt like it and was told I mightve eaten it from someone who didnt cook it right... idk how youre supposed to cook them but I loved them here! The service was great, very friendly servers. I liked the decorations and just overall vibe of the place. Its always a good sign when you walk in with a bunch of Hispanic people eating at a Mexican place. I am blown away, this is my new favorite restaurant.

Lengua by the pound is good. However it takes almost 2 hours to get your food. We asked an employee of they were shorthanded and they said no, they have 5 cooks in the kitchen. So I dont see the excuse for the delay as they only had about 15 people in the place

I like to try new restaurants and even more so when it comes to places with flavors from Guanajuato since here the food is almost always with flavors from northern Mexico and I am from Salamanca Gto. I went last weekend and ordered mole enchiladas (Enmoladas) AND my husband had a chile relleno dish. We also ordered a gordita de chicharrón to see how it was. The enmoladas were very good, the mole is made there, it is not in a glass, the chicken in the enmoladas is very delicious and the dish comes with rice and beans, it comes with 5 enchiladas and very well served. My husbands dish was equally well served and full of flavor. The gordita was very good, the dough had flavor and so did the chicharrón. We will definitely return. Lastly and most impressive of all were the prices. Excellent prices, economical despite how well served their dishes are. Guanajuato seasoning

I like the restaurant and my friends complimented the food. So lets start with the pricing, no complaints. Cost competitive in relation to other restaurants. Their pricing is hard to beat. Service, no complaints. Food, my opinion, it was good. Sides, tasty, and homemade. The corn tortillas, made in-house. Both are great. The main dish is where I struggle a bit. I had fajitas and took home some barbacoa. For my taste, I did not like the seasoning. But my stepson liked it. The presentation was good, well cooked, and prepared, so at the end of the day, your taste buds will decide. Would try it again to try some of the other traditional dishes.

We were in Grand Prairie for the Main Festival and searched for a nearby place to eat . This restaurant lived up to the 4.8 Google review . My husband and I had La Parillada for two and hand made tortillas . Wow it was enough and even had to take some home . It was accompanied by rice and refied beans. Great presentation ! Also the atmosphere is quaint and very welcoming to those who come and sit down to eat or come and grab food to take home . I like that it is set up this way . Definitely will need to come back . The dishes and salsa containers remind me of Mexico and how much I miss it . If the owners want to open a second o e please choose Carrollton ( where I live wink).

Wow, neither my wife or I cannot remember a better tasting meal weve had at a Mexican restaurant than the one we just had here! It was so delicious we both purchased a second round of each of our meals to take home for tomorrow. And were already thinking of friends we want to bring here. The atmosphere is so pleasant. It has the character of a family run business with lots of personality and care, with a lot of options for places to sit and nice amount of space between parties. The server was so friendly and personable. The prices were so low/fair Im not sure you could get a meal at a fast food restaurant for the same price. And the food was so fresh and delicious! My wife got the mole, and not only was the sauce good as expected, but we couldnt believe how delicious and fresh the chicken tasted. I had the enchilada platter with 4 different enchiladas (several of which Ive never seen on menus before). They did not disappoint!! What other place serves chips with 3 homemade salsas? One of their salsas is so good we think they could bottle it and sell it. The food here is better than restaurants that are 2 to 3 times more expensive. This is our new Mexican restaurant...totally worth the drive from Las Colinas.

Service was pretty good, though it took a little longer than expected to get it ordered when we didnt know what we wanted right away. But, the food came out super quick. It was a little cool in there and could use a little more decoration, but you dont necessarily go to a restaurant for the decorations. Definitely give it a try; you wont regret it.

I was visiting in the area and decided to give them a try. I placed my order over the phone for takeout (I ordered an enchilada plate and a quesabirria plate) and when I received my food -- I was beyond satisfied! It was DELICIOUS!!! The total amount was very reasonable for the serving size and I will most definitely be back!!!

When I go out to eat, I like to enjoy my food in peace and quiet. Its a small out of the way place, but its worth it. No waiting in line for 45 minutes to get seated. Just walk in and sit where you want and enjoy your meal.

The chilaquiles sauce was very acidic and they charged me for things that I did not consume, it was expensive compared to other restaurants of this type

Excellent service, my waitress was exactly what you would want on a quick lunch break. Homemade chips and salsa were delicious, and the torta reminded me of the ones I had growing up in south Texas. Will be back whenever I m in the area

Waitress was very nice and patient. Food was excellent!! The barbaco tacos were the best Ive had in years!! I shouldve gone with all sour cream and chicken enchiladas, the tex mex ones were not as good. Definitely glad we tried this place out. A new favorite!!

The lady Gabriela who served us was very friendly, I give her a 10, but they have a worker or manager or possibly the owner with an attitude that really does not make us want to return, very despotic, arrogant, she has nothing to serve the customers. clients WE WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS PLACE AGAIN

Everything there was amazing. Recommend the mole enchilada s, and the Horchata was perfect. This is a Mexican restaurant not tex-mex so I recommend it to anyone want a taste of authentic Mexican cuisine. Place makes me feel like I am in Mexico I love how they decorated!

Great food the fajita meat is served on top of a bed of cheese, so every time you dig in to fill up your tortilla, you have this nice, melty cheese accompanying your meat! Food is very reasonably priced (especially in the face of all of this whacko inflation). Service is great!

Menudo (served only on weekend) is so good, very clean and no fat, great tasting! My husband and son love the huevos rancheros, portions are definitely good sized you are guaranteed to leave satisfied. Lots of choices on the menu, aguas frescas, cafe y pan dulce, tamales, molé, enchiladas, tacos, birria, tortas, chicharron, meats by the pound. Atmosphere is very cute, I love the decor.
