Terrible, terrible, terrible customer service. The young people you have working here know nothing about customer service. Last week I walked into this location, and they were busy with the drive thru. No customers in the inside at all. With that said, I was not greeted or met with a well be right with you, give us a second There was NOTHING! The African American female and Caucasian male with glasses continued to work as if I wasnt standing at the register at all. I waited for 7 minutes and by this time two more customers had walked in. By the time the young Caucasian male came to the register, it was simply how can I help you No acknowledgement of sorry for the wait or empathy, smile, or friendliness. My presence seemed more like a burden to him and the young lady. Meanwhile both made eye contact with me several times in the 7 minutes that I waited. Im sorry but for a $7 smoothie the customer service should be excellent. The fact that these high school students or young adults who were NOT trained on customer satisfaction leaves a poor taste in my mouth and needless to say, I will NEVER return to this location. Smoothie King, please do better, before people realize that a large part of your business can be done from their homes in a simple store-bought blender. Its as if the young people dont even understand the customers are the reason they even have a job. Please do better! From a former customer.

So went to get a drink had the hardest time three young highschool Teenagers behind the counter made my drink wrong with peanut butter when asked to change it they act like they didn t hear me and one young boy tried to argue. I visited this location two weeks ago to get my usual Daily Warrior. I usually ask for no stevia or peanut butter and sub in sun warrior plant based protein. This is the only location that has given me problems about this request. The sales associate told me that they were unable to sub out this request and wanted to charge me for the addition of plant based protein. I frequent Smoothie King franchises over the DFW and many states and no location has ever tried to make me pay for this request. The sales associate at this location was so adamant on not allowing this request. The irony of this is one of their employees did this substitution with no problems 2 days before substituting with no extra cost. I furnished the receipt showing the transaction where there was an even substitution at no charge. Once, I brought this to the sales associate attention, he says well we fired her for doing that so she is no longer working here . I was in disbelief that he would tell me that they fired this young lady. That was not for me, the customer, to know but that just shows how completely unprofessional this location acted with poor customer service. In addition, one of my friends purchased a smoothie from this location today and a sales associate told her that they no longer honor upsize Friday! This is hallmark for Smoothie King franchises to run this special every Friday and not allowing this special or not honoring it anymore is unfortunate and a complete disservice. I hope that the franchise owner now knows that his/her franchise is ran this way with poor customer service and satisfaction. I do not recommend this location. This franchise does not run in alignment with the other location.

Seems to discriminate or not be helpful towards people who want to order or may want to sit inside. It should not be at the fault of the customer that they are limited to just purchasing a smoothie via drive thru only. No posted sign or anything doesnt help. 4 workers do not look like its understaffed when theyre trained to be efficient. An apology for an inconvenience couldve suffice, but telling me to only order at the drive thru (EVEN THOUGH YOU JUST SOLD A SMOOTHIE TO A man who opened the locked door for me), just comes of as lazy and inconsiderate to the customer. Its 7pm...an hour before close, not 5 min til close. They were obviously capable of taking another indoor order, just not willing to take mine.

I have been a loyal customer of the smoothie king on Arkansas Ln. for years because the customer service was impeccable. I have left many a positive review for this location having to delete a previous compliment to leave another. Today however my review is not so great. The female manager is horrible. Her customer service skills need to be fine tuned. She doesnt listen and you have to repeat your order multiple times to still have it repeated incorrectly. In an economy where businesses are closing and people are losing their jobs in mass numbers you would think exceptional customer service is paramount. This location used to reign supreme and I hope that level of quality returns soon.

Employees seem so upset and unhappy, from pulling up to the drive thru speaker to the window. Lady today, Kim H., at the window clearly needs lesson in customer service, barely reached for my card or when handing me my items I almost had to reach half my body into the drive through window. Also, waited over 15/20 mins for 2 items, a 20 oz. & a bowl as cars behind me were served with the quickness. Rude staff and service. Only because my son wanting a bowl did I support this location today. Never Again.

Unfortunately, Smoothie King is kind of a hit or miss: the taste and quality of the product received depends on who is working there. This location is one of the worst I have ever visited. As typically seen in fast restaurant chains nowadays, most of the time the store is staffed by a bunch of young, unsupervised kids. Now it is smoothie King s policy that if for any reason a customer is dissatisfied with the taste of their smoothie, they can return it to the counter to request a remake. The problem is, the staff is lazy and they try to take short cuts. What I think they do is they pour out the same Smoothie You ve rejected and re-blend it and then give it back to you way too fast. Even after I told them to start over and throw that one away, they still lie to me and gave me back the old dissatisfactory drink. I rejected the first time. Three remakes later, I just finally gave up. It s the same lazy employees. I see each time I visit this place. This year I have earned Champion status, but this is the last time I will patronize any Smoothie King location. There s another smoothie place called tropical smoothie Café, and those are starting to pop up everywhere, I strongly suggest people redirect their business, and their money elsewhere until smoothie king learns to start caring about their business and manage their staff better. I doubt this will never happen, though.

The staff was very apologetic & friendly. However, it took way too long to get our order. We ordered 2 smoothies online at 8pm. The smoothies were estimated to be ready around 8:21pm. We didn t mind waiting a little bit since we saw there was a line in the drive thru and people inside. the problem is everyone that came in after us got their order before we did. At one point I counted 14 individuals inside the smoothie king. We didn t get our order until 8:50 & even then they only gave us one smoothie. My boyfriend had to go and check what was taking so long for his order. The girl behind the counter was apologetic & sized up his smoothie to a 32 oz. We also weren t the only individuals waiting on our orders. I spoke to another lady that had the same experiences as I did. I understand it was really busy, but maybe they should ve turned off the online orders or been better organized. Only giving 3 stars because I know how crazy it can be to work in food establishment & the staff was relatively young & friendly.

Terrible service. 5 people were working at the time when I order a Strawberry Smoothie at 1400. Checked out at 1402. Didnt get my smoothie until 1415. I had to ask for my smoothie 2x before they even looked to see if it was done. To make things worst, they did it incorrectly and had to redo the order again. Not even a sorry for the wait or coupon for a free smoothie next time. Worst Smoothie King I have gone to since I visit to DFW area and I have been to 4 in the last 4 days.

I guess the employees are slow , charged me twice for my drink (I saw them swipe and insert my card so I m glad i checked ) than when we said something they acted confused as well as refused to give us a receipt for our drink , on top of that we received the incorrect drink .

I heart you, Smoothie King. Your brand, your staff, and your recipes collectively deserve a solid 5 stars. I found myself looking for a Smoothie King on my recent visit to Prairie TX, their consistency of solid smoothies never fails. I ordered my go-to smoothie The Gladiator, it was made even better than where I usually go. This location also has a drive thru convenient for all those that are always on the go like myself, they were also well stocked inside on all their shelves. I believe they have weekly specials, a kids menu, plant based smoothies...they have it all. Great job guys!

HAIR IN SMOOTHIE! My brother warned me about this place but I still went anyway. I waited for awhile in the drive thru, don t know exactly how long but it was over 10 minutes. I ordered a mango pure recharge in a plastic cup, drive thru employee was very rude and in a rush. I got my drink and removed the lid, I don t usually use straws. That s when I saw the long stand of hair handing over the brim of the cup, after waiting awhile in the lobby I was told there was no manager on the property at the time. I left without a refund, new smoothie, and wasted my money and time. I would suggest employees wear a hair net.

Placed order, asked for styrofoam cup. Received it as quickly as it was made. Served in plastic cup. Mentioned that it wasnt styrofoam. Was offered to change cup, I refused. I thought that if a plastic cup could not be filled as mine wasnt, a styrofoam cup would have even less.
