My wife and I had our wedding reception here in November 2023. Rebecca was wonderful to work with and was understanding of everything we needed/wanted. Highly recommend choosing this location if you re debating between any other. Her and the team made the process smooth, and the overall outcome was everything we dreamed of. Huge thank you to Rebecca and the rest of the staff!

I just came home from this place after a wedding reception. This place is the worst for guests. The employees are like constipated. The 3 guys and a mean lady sitting at the bar at 10 pm on 9-23-2023 denied me a bottle of water. She simply said no. How rude! I mean its just a bottle of water. Management should know that employees like this rude lady will put your business down.

We had our wedding here Oct 1st 2022. The wedding planning process with RJC was great, anytime we had questions or adjustments that needed to be made Rebecca did a great job to ensure that what we need was done. The venue is beautiful, we did an outdoor ceremony and then followed up with all the reception activities inside. The food options are abundant (Classic Buffet Meal) for all your guests, we got a lot of positive feedback on the fruit display and passed Hors doeuvres during cocktail hour. The indoor venue is spacious, we had a pianist playing during the cocktail hour and had a photo booth in the lobby as as well while comfortably seating 325+ guests in the reception area. For the ladies, the bridal suite is everything! Lots of mirrors, space, and very modern. For the men, the suite isnt as fancy, but its still very spacious with space to do a lot hanging out and lounging prior to the festivities. If weather permits, take advantage of the garden to take pictures, your guests will love it too. Overall we highly recommend RJC as the place to host your special day!

We hosted our daughters quinceañera at Ruthe Jackson Center in March and have nothing but great things to say. Our host was Juan, and he was incredible to work with. He was available any time we had questions or needed to visit the site. The facility was clean and spacious and all employees were very kind and helpful. Our guests enjoyed the event and felt very safe and secure as well. Great job and highly recommend to anyone looking for a facility to host their event at.

I had my Sweet Sixteen in august of 2022 and it was amazing! Me and my parents work closely with Ms.Cheryl and she made sure everything when smooth and beautifully. The whole night went according to plan and the staff was amazing they made the ballroom look beautiful, always picking up the trash, and the food was great too! I am truly grateful for The Ruth Jackson Center making my special day so special. Here are just some picture capturing my amazing event!!!!!

We had our wedding at this place. This place provides nice reception hall, lobby, cozy cocktail hour area, groomsmen & brides room, and outside ceremonial area. They also provides variety of choices for food, and almost all of them are really good. Staff was very nice as well. Overall, I was very satisfied for choosing this place for my special day.

I attended a wedding reception here on Saturday. I was floored. The food was well seasoned and tasty, the staff were courteous and efficient and the hall was emasculate and ornate. I left my phone on the charging station and was able to pick it up the next day. I received a call from Kaye on Monday morning. She heard the voicemail I left and was just making sure I had my phone because she didnt see it. These folks are guest oriented. I will think of them when planning an event.

The staff was not very accommodating during the wedding. They did not stick to a lot of the things that was discussed in our weekly meetings. They did give us the impression they wanted to be there. The meat was over cooked. The staff was not very helpful to the guess. The 2 stars are because the place was nice and clean. I would suggest this place.

My mother is a City employee and has been for 15 years so all my life I ve been here for her banquet award nomination and the place is hugeeee! Restrooms are very professional especially from eating different cuisines like Arabian and Italian foods, but the center in general is a nice place and I highly recommend doing events there!

Our daughter s wedding event wasn t looking too promising until one call to Cheryl AllGood at The Ruth Jackson Center. We had two change of venues and we did not have a place to have the wedding or reception. Cheryl quickly assured me that Bree would have her dream wedding. The following morning Cheryl called and confirmed not only did we have a place for the wedding but a place for the reception. We have some amazing people here in Grand Prairie. Cheryl and the staff at the Ruthe Jackson Center are incredibly gracious and welcoming. After having to cancel our original wedding plans, we were able to keep our date to celebrate with our immediate families at the RJC. From the minute we stepped out of our vehicles, Cheryl was asking us how she could help. The garden ceremony space is immaculate and well cared for and I can only imagine how beautiful our photos will be. Thank you for opening your doors for us and helping us keep our original date for a small elopement with our families. We will forever recommend the Ruthe Jackson Center to all our engaged friends & family.

We had a wonderful experience at the Ruthe Jackson Center for our engagement ceremony. I would highly recommend this venue for any event. Karr Stewart and her staff were simply amazing! Karr was easy to work with throughout our planning process and always available to answer any questions I had before and at the event. Our guests at our engagement ceremony were amazed at the quality of the food, the excellent service of the staff, and the ambiance of the venue itself. Our photographer and videographer were raving about the garden which was perfect for photos! I m so glad that we were able to have our engagement ceremony at RJC!!

My husband and I had our wedding this past sunday and everything was more beautiful than We could ve ever imagined. The food was amazing, and the staff were completely on top of it. If I could pick a venue all over again I would choose this venue simply because we got to work with Cheryl Allgood (the venue event coordinator). She was so easy to talk to and made everything so easy for us. She was very flexible, easy to reach, and helped us meet all of our needs/ wants within our budget. She gracefully handled unpleasant situations and fixed every minor inconvenience that arose so I didn t have to worry about anything. We call her our fairy God mother. She was kind and was looking out for us throughout the whole night making sure we didn t miss anything on our timeline, even hemmed my dress so I could actually get through our first dance. She also went above and beyond and gave us some extra things to make our wedding even more beautiful than we expected. She gifted us a date day while we were planning our special day, and I was the first bride to use the bridal suite, and let me tell y all! It was gorgeous! Spacious, great for photos, had a steamer, coffee machine etc. Everything you would need to get ready. I could go on and on but to summarize We recommend the Ruthe Jackson center 100%.
