The softball complex is disgusting. There is no maintenance being done here. The restroom toilets are all backed up with filth and there are used sanitary pads and used toilet paper all over the floor, the sinks are caked with dirt, spider webs everywhere. There are big wasp nests that could easily be removed over the bleachers, but they havent been. Players were stung by wasps at practice today. All of the trash cans were reeking and needed to be emptied. Weve been to softball complexes all over and have never seen a facility in such gross shape. Jennifer McFalls would be embarrassed to have her name attached to this place. The city of Grand Prairie should be embarrassed about their lack of maintenance.

The softball fields are well kept and I would have given a higher rating except for two things: 1. Right now there is road construction in front of the park making access a challenge so thats temporary and not really a park issue but it negatively affects the experience. 2. The bathrooms are horrible. There are too few facilities there, they are not centrally located and they are not maintained very well. No matter the time of day, it smells like the open sewage of a third world country in the mens room and you walk through puddles of waste hoping not to contract hepatitis or worse before exiting.

This park is really awesome. Not to be confused with the East Park with all the sports fields. This park used to have giant Nutria everywhere. They are no longer at the park. Sad... But, overall this park is great for kids and families.

Came here for a softball tournament. Bathrooms are discusting and were never cleaned the whole weekend. The mens has one toilet for a tournament that has 200 plus people at.Is it to much to ask to get some porta pottys? The grass and area around the fields are full of stickers and chug holes. Grand prairie should be ashamed of themselves.

Ive been going here since it was Cottonwood park, real cabin in the front, and overrun with nutria. I went here for the first time in 15 or so years a few days ago. The water is clear, lots of turtles, fish and other aquatic animals. It was nice and clean as well. All benches are gone, and the only seating is at the new pavilion on the sledding hill

Very nice park. Well kept by the city with the exception of the bathrooms but I doubt theres a whole lot they can do about that other than kill it with fire. Pavilion is fairly large and lights come on automatically near sundown. Could do with more seating around the park, like a bench here or there near the ducks.

Nothing at this park for the kids to do,no swings no slide, no tether totter, just a swimming pool that is just as dangerous as any park ride. Why can other cities afford to pay for insurance for their rides and grand prairie cant, this is things that caused me to move out of grand prairie to a city that does furnish these amusements for the youngsters of the city , wake up grand prairie,
