Update: this place has gotten so bad since my original review that I can no longer recommend going here. I always get the orange chicken but with my last 3 orders it has been absolutely disgusting. If you have ever tried something and just from a couple bites you can taste the food poisoning (mold/old food) is how bad it s gotten. This last order though really set it as my chicken actually had mold under the breading. Do not and I repeat do not go here you will end up sick as I did. Got the level 5 spicy orange chicken and it s definitely the best one in town. The spice is perfect and the flavoring is spot on. This will definitely be my spot for this dish now. Bonus the staff was super friendly and very helpful.

Our family s favorite Chinese take out right around the corner. We are sad to be moving out of town at the end of the month because we frequently order King Dragon. Have eaten here for years, but the last 2 orders have been subpar. Something has changed. Got the sweet and sour chicken, and we special ordered our rice, and the rice was basically tasteless. I dumped a lot of soy sauce to make it edible. Dont know if they have a new cook or an ownership change, but I will probably not be going back.

Food was great, hot and fresh. We got shrimp fried rice, 8 chicken on a stick, 4 spring rolls, and edamame. I recommend 2 hot oil! So yummy. We will be back this is our new Chinese takeout spot. Thanks for having our food fresh and ready! My only recommendation would be to make smaller shrimp in the fried rice so my kids can t eat it all! lol

This place is amazing I love eating here and the food is awesome, I mean I didnt get the sweet and sour chicken and whine about it like others because I can always just order something else for my meal, cuz I mean its not like they dont have a menu full of other foods, oh..wait.. yeah they do! If you have a problem once, you dont have to give up, just get something else. Vegetarian options: Just go to ItSoVegan if you want vegetarian foods...I know that is not building up King Dragon but it is a really great place to eat vegetarian... I got the lunch special and my entree was a pile of half done fried rice. It tasted like white rice with just soy sauce drenched over it and heated up. It was bland. I barely had room for the entree. The spring roll wasnt cooked fully. It was frozen in the middle. Only redeeming part of the meal was my chili oil and the fortune cookie. The edamame was way too salty. Would probably pay full price for the entee just to avoid all of the uncooked fried rice. I dont know. It wasnt that great.

The food was overall very tasty and plentiful absolutely worth the price. Took 10 minutes for it to be ready. Menu has large variety of food with pictures. I always order takeout.. Ive been buying food here for over 6 years. The food is great and portions are good. They started out using the nice plastic containers for food, which was a great attraction for their food and it was definitely different and set them apart from all other local Chinese- Asian food places. However, from time to time they have changed and started to use foam to go plates and they have begin to nickle and dime you for the extra hot sauces, which makes their service feel like all the rest. Again, the food taste great and they stay busy! Not a cozy sit down place, but, they do have a few seats where you can dine in. I love the triple Mongolian and the Iron chicken and Singapore mei fun combination noodles, level 3 spicy Parking: Parking is limited as this is located in a small shopping strip with parking is shared other major businesses .

The service was decent. The sesame chicken tasted ok, but Im not sure how safely it was cooked as it it gave me diarrhea. The steamed dumplings were meh. You dont get a plate when you eat in. I m very pick and this is the best Chinese food I ve had in a long time. I got the crab Rangoon for an appetizer. Orange chicken combo with steam rice & egg roll with an extra side of sweet & sour sauce. They are not stingy the food didn t disappoint. The food tasted fine but they served it in Styrofoam that was melted from the heat of the food. I felt unsafe eating it so threw all the food touching the bottom melted part away (more than half). Wish there was a better alternative to storing hot foods so no worries on possible carcinogens. I would eat in, no problem, but I caution ordering out due to this. Perhaps if they could put a heat resistant, food safe paper in between to keep the Styrofoam from leaching into your food. Not sure but that was my only concern. Food did taste good other than that.

Ive been looking for a while for a good Chinese place that delivers since I moved out of the radius of my old favorite and tried this place out. It was pretty great! Delivery took 30-40 minutes and the food was piping hot and fresh, exactly as ordered, and tasted pretty good. I got the dragon and phoenix. The shrimp were a little bland, but the General Tsos chicken was perfect and Id just get an order of that next time with some additional veggies. Not too sweet, not too spicy, little hint of orange, very yummy. It also reheated pretty great the next day, which is the true measure of good Chinese delivery! They have so many options to customize things, so you can have anything the way you want it. Ill most definitely be ordering from here again in the future. The prices are pretty good, too. Vegetarian options: They have a TON of vegetarian options. I think I counted like 4 different tofu dishes. The General Tsos Tofu had too soft of a texture for me, but it had a great flavor and Ill probably try some of their other tofu preparations in the future.

My family and I have been ordering delivery from this place for years. We use to live down the street but moved about a year ago and have continued to order from King Dragon. I tried to order delivery today and they called me back and told me I was out of their delivery area. I live 4.5 miles from the restaurant which is within the range on their website but was told they dont deliver on this side of I20. They delivered here several times in the past year and no one has ever said anything. Im very disappointed that as loyal customers we are being treated this way even though we live within their 5 miles range. Be more specific on your website about what areas you do deliver to! Now I have to wait several days before getting my money back from my canceled order. I recommend that you call and do not use the online app.

The best selection of classic Chinese-American take-out dishes in the area, by far! Today, we ordered three lunch specials and an appetizer and have tons of food for just over $40. Pepper steak with great [4] spice, broccoli beef, and combo lo mein. We also got wonton soup and two egg rolls, all of which were amazing. I added an appetizer of shrimp and fries, which were just right, but shoulda just got the lunch special. The recipes at King Dragon satisfy my cravings of classic Chinese-American food every time!

Amazing food!! Went here for the first time with my husband, apparently hes been coming here without me because he told me how great the food was. I decided to try something different instead of the usual fried rice, lo mein, etc.. I had Combination Mei Fun ($10.75).. It has chicken, beef, shrimp, celery, carrots, onions, cabbage, and egg... Probably great place during pandemic,but lacking in several things as a dine in facility. Walk in,order from menu on wall. Thats fine. Asked for tea; dont have tea. Said ok...water. He pointed to cooler as self serve,bottled water. I asked if they had cups ice or tap water...NO. I cant drink water from the plastic containers because of medical reasons. I spent $50 and received some stale rice and old eggrolls. The boneless ribs were decent and the teriyaki sauce I ordered on the side was the only thing that helped with the old rice!! Completely disappointing to spend that much and receive old food.

I ordered the Schezuang Shrimp and Schezuang Chicken in level 5 spicy. i loved it. just the right amount of spicy and It was delicious. Perfect amount. Will definitely order again n again. Thank you.

Walked in and the lady at the front was SO unprofessional. Completely ignored us and answered phone to take someone else s order so we just walked out. I was already hesitant about eating there because it smells like sewer in the restaurant. Will NOT be back.

It was good. Friendly place fast service. My only thing is that my daughters food contained some small aluminum spiral thing in her food. Be careful my wife says someone else found the same thing. Good food though. Be safe.

The food is always fresh & delicious . The people that run it are friendly. The spicy shredded beef is awesome & you cant go wrong with the combination lo mein. If you like it spicy ask for a side of chili oil.

The interior did not live up to expectations built after reviewing a random take-out menu, mouth-watering, large, (but would they be satisfying?) Menu items. . Lived up to menu in item availability, flavor to portion sz to price per item. Slight disappointment with very small inside seating, no table service - so ended up eating a little bit there and taking rest home; where it did store and re-heat very well! All in all - I would definitely return, but get the take-out and enjoy at home. Egg fu Yung rocked it for me and prices very good for quality of all received Service, Food, etc. Go, enjoy - perhaps they may grow to the size of space and services to match that great menu!

My husband had sweet & sour chicken & I ate a piece. I found this in my food & thankfully spit it out. Called the restaurant & they only offered credit for more food or send more food now. When my husband let them know there was metal in some of the cooked chicken, the manager asked immediately if it was the sweet & sour chicken without him letting her know. We had more than one chicken dish.
