The food is ok. Typical dinner. The eggs are cooked food. The bacon is great, the hashbrowns were really greasy, and the biscuits were bad. The biscuits are small and dense. Not fluffy. The gravy was ok. It could be better, especially if they change the biscuits.

Old School Cafe on the eastern edge of downtown. At first the smokie smell is a bit of a turn off but if you re in the mood for old fashioned breakfast and coffee hang in there you most likely will not die of cancer in the short time you are there It s a TexMex/American cafe and the ladies taking your order speak ENGLISH maybe with a bit of accent but they re very good at their job. My Chorizo Plate was GREAT. Made 3 huge tacos out of it. My Sweetness had Veggie Omelette and gives it a definite Thumbs Up The salsa was very good and not over the top spicy the Coffee was smooth and not bitter unlike the coffee we got at MAS COFFEE plus Mas has a very rude barista.

Nope Nope Nope! We went there and the food was NOT good. My husband got the street tacos and they left a bad taste in his mouth, the cornbread was not done, and the beans tasted funny. To top it off, they seem to live by their posted phrase price may change at any time. BE WARNED, the prices on the menu may not be what you pay at the register. They did not provide an itemized receipt and the checkout person was looking at an entirely different pricing menu. I feel like they got over on me but of they can live with it, I can live without it. My sister went to pay and she is a little more aggressive and asked right out How much are you gonna charge me? And she got her items as priced on the menu. Dynamic pricing, Subject to change per person!!!

please, please, please never go here especially on Sunday mornings, we got say immediately and ordered soon after and it took an hour for our food to get to us. the food was cold, has no flavor whatsoever, not even salt, we were missing a stack of pancakes and when we told them they said it would be an upcharge even though in our ticket it said country fried chicken (which is what i ordered) with 2 pancakes. this place is not good 2/10 would not recommend.

THE great American greasy spoon, a wide array of Mexican dishes as well! I had a salad as I wasnt that hungry but my friend had a burger and seeing it made me want one. The taste I had was amazing! Also got steak & eggs and that was worth every bite! Especially the biscuits & gravy! Very much recommended! Vegetarian options: Huge salads, great breakfast, everything is made fresh so the Mexican dishes can be made with alternatives. Parking: Small but ample, at peak hours there is street parking and the lot across the street can be used.

We left the restaurant feeling full. Each meal was roughly 6.50-7.50 + coffee Extremely large portions to price ratio. Staff were kind, my uncle dropped his cane and a staff member helped him retrieve it. Bacon is larger than expected and much more flavorful. Sausage is quite good as well. Eggs have been made exactly to order, and when scrambled have that fluffy feeling ive been longing for such a long time. French toast was very good, uncle prefers a bit more cinnamon. Ive been staring at this restaurant for 10+ years why havent i come here sooner!?

Food was ok. Definitely not worth the hour long wait to get it. Took 15 minutes after sitting to get menus and drink orders in. Then another 15 before we could order. Then 30 minutes before we got our food. We ordered at 10:30 but couldnt get grits because they took so long cooking. Probably just a bad experience but online prices were incorrect so I spent more than expected. Lady was impatient and rude. The sandwich looked like it had been thrown together. Tasted good but idk that Ill be back after this experience. The gentleman was nicer and showed me the menu. It is different than what is online. Update tried this place again for the first time in a while. Same manager as last visit. Food was OK but the service was very poor. When I paid for my food the lady at the register charged me two separate times because she said she .essed up the first time. She charged me 70.00 dollars when it was 40 with tip included. I will not support this place anymore very poor service multiple times now.

Update.... Used to be our favorite place to go, but things have changed. I doubt well be back. We asked if they had rolls today because they are ALWAYS out. Abel came to our table specifically to tell us they had rolls and biscuits today. We told the server we wanted rolls instead of toast today. She said they DIDNT have rolls. After we told her Abel had just told us they did she said she would make sure but wanted to know what we wanted in case they were out so we told her toast and biscuits.....only IF they didnt have rolls. Got our rolls before the meal which was ok, I guess. When our plates arrived they were COVERED with toast. There had to be half a loaf of bread between the two plates! It was ridiculous! And then they brought my husband biscuits, too! Of course the person that brought the food was not there one that took the order so she was confused when we told her we hadnt ordered the toast. She took it back and you could hear the cook/manager ask why we sent it back. Not only did we wait almost 20 mins for our food, but our server never checked on us again once we received our food. We had to flag other servers down to get drink refills and condiments. Finished our meal and went to pay...... Ended up getting charged EXTRA for the rolls and all the bread we didnt order. Good food will only get you so far in the food industry. CUSTOMER SERVICE is what keeps people coming back. Well go a little farther down the street from now on to Skillet and Grill. Love this place! Good food at a fair price. Good service with a friendly smile. Love that they play country music from when I was a kid. Brings back good memories!!!

Normally this would be five stars but the young boy taking my order was rude. The food there is excellent but his manner was offensive. When I asked if they had raised the prices since yesterday all he could say was take it or leave it. So I took myself and left. This is the first time this has ever happened to me there and it will be the last as I will not eat there again. I get the same breakfast plate 3 times a week for over a year but not any more.

Customer service was amazing. This location has self seating however you are acknowledged immediately. Our server was attentive without hovering. Food is reasonably priced but hearty portions. Everything was served fresh and hot. Over easy eggs were not overcooked. Stove potatoes were yummy. The steak was cooked medium well and was delicious. Mom said her veggie omelette was loaded and well seasoned. I grabbed a Denver omelette to go. My friend said it was really good. I will definitely visit again.

Good food and good service, they did some fixing on the place and the food is alot better. Only gave 3 stars cause while we were there 2 tables came off the wall while the bus boy was cleaning them.

Wow !!!! completely impressed a clean place excellent customer service !! Very Texan place with a delicious Latin flavor ... I loved the freshly cooked food at a very affordable price Marina and the others in charge of the service are spectacular, they make you feel very welcome !! definitely one of the best places to have a good texas style breakfast
