First time here and I love the friendly waitresses and wait staff here. As woman often time you go out and the waitresses are only interested in serving the male patrons but here these ladies were so sweet and hospitable and I loved it! Ms. Alicia (the owner) was soooooo down to earth and personable with everyone there.

Our server told us it was buy one get one appetizers, and talked us into ordering 2 appetizers each. When the bill came, we were charged for all four apps. When I inquired as to why, she simply replied my bad, I was wrong and walked away. The food was mediocre at best. We will NOT be back. You should give it a miss.

8/12 Update: Notice their unprofessional response! It s so hard to support these types of businesses. There s just no accountability. Just Worthless. WORST ESTABLISHMENT EVER! I will never return! For starters Farrah with the blue short wig had the WORST attitude I have ever experienced! It took an actual 1 hour and 17 minutes for my friend to even see what she ordered! Which was catfish! I m fully convinced they ran out and sent someone to greedys to retrieve some! After a hour and 17 minutes FARRAH came to deliver the food with a whole attitude and when my friend mentioned she no longer wanted it FARRAH rolled her eyes and made a grunt noise turned her body around and walked off hard! No words just disrespect! My friend said no thank you because our entire friend group party had already PAID AND LEFT AFTER EATING! One of our friends had an order made wrong 3x THREE TIMES THE SAME ORDER WAS WRONG!!! The 3rd time they gave it to her for free even though she ate the second wrong order! But my friend Who never received her food after a hour and 17 minutes FARRAH told me she d have to pay full price! YOU COULDN T PAY ME TO EVER RETURN HERE OR ITS SISTER LOCATIONS GREEDYS!!!! I ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE OWNER PETE BECAUSE FARRAH STATED HE WAS GIVING AWAY THE FREE MEALS BUT SHE NEVER WENT TO GRAB HIM. Her nor Chloe, Chloe stated he was TOO BUSY TO SPEAK TO US!!

Drafts has the potential to be a great neighborhood bar, thanks to its location. However, the customer service needs significant improvement. The staff was rude and unprofessional, and their uniforms were notably tacky. One bartender, in particular, stood out with her bright blue wig and seemed more interested in serving familiar patrons than providing good service to everyone. While we waited for assistance, she ignored us and indicated to another bartender that we hadnt been helped, which made us feel unwelcome. When we were finally served, the drinks were fine, but the egg roll appetizer was burnt. The service was slow, and when we tried to close our tab, the bartender delayed us by chatting with the other staff. We ended up leaving without tipping due to the poor experience. Unfortunately, we won t be returning. *UPDATE: I am not a robot or a friend of anyone that you may know. It s sad the owner would claim this is a false statement without verifying. I have confirmed my response is real. I have receipts. Disappointing.

Im actually shocked at the service we received at the Bar. Sat at the bar from 330 to 630 and the Bartender would check with everyone else but us. I went without a drink on 2 different occasions for 30 mins. After placing my order we waited 45 minutes for the food and it was only 10 other customers at the time. Then had to wait another 30 mins just to get my receipt. It was our first time visiting and seemed the others around us were regulars so the attentiveness to their needs superseded us. Im leaving 2 stars for the Food and the Environment. Some of the bartenders that came later would go right passed us and was very attentive to the regulars.

I witnessed the male manager degrade one of his employees . She was doing a great job but the way this establishment is managed by him will have me not speak highly about this establishment and it shows to have great potential here . I was told his name is Pete, just ask for another waitress to assist you. They also charge like $17 for this drink and only fill the glass half full and barely any sugar on the rim. Napkins cover more surface area than the servers attire. Table etiquette is subpar, mainly because they physically lean on the tables, sit in the booths while taking orders, scratch and reach over your food while youre eating to grab stuff(they can just ask), and the hair is usually intrusive to food/drinks while theyre leaning. But I respect them making an honest living doing what they do.

I placed an online order, when entering no one acknowledged us, asked several times where to pick up an order, someone finally came, I asked about the order it was handed to us a bag, didnt ask if anything was needed. No receipt was given,I paid extra for sauces and didnt receive any. Tried calling no answer. Went back, asked for manager,she brought out 3 sauces not including the extras I ordered, placed them in my hand, no bag or container. She then asked what else was wrong. Didnt offer to correct anything, make good on the mix-up or offer an apology. I didnt rate the atmosphere, because who cares what the atmosphere is when the SERVICE and FOOD is not good. I dont recommend any food items. Maybe we werent within the age group they were currently serving. I really hope that is not the case. If front employees are having a bad day,then maybe they should work in back until they are feeling better.

Let me start off by saying there is NO customer service! No one NEVER answers the phone if you have questions. Then once you order on-line theres an automatic charge or tip for ordering on-line. (In the past Ive ordered in person and literally waited at the front desk no less than 10mins to be greeted and serviced for a To-go order). Nonetheless, last week We (family) ordered catfish baskets at the opening of the day not one other customer was in the restaurant however, it took 50mins to receive the food. The catfish has normally been absolutely delicious (as to why we continue to ignore the shenanigans/ unprofessionalism) but this last time really got under my skin because the fish seemed under seasoned and the fries were room temperature. We were the first and only customer and this was UNNECESSARY!

Excellent place to pull up and vibe out. Whether you re looking for some bomb food to eat or just sit back relax and have a drink. Came for the first time last night and truly enjoyed myself. We used to LOVE this place! Would have given it 4 stars easy! We would go once or twice a month at least when they first opened. They had a great atmosphere, the servers were great, and the happy hour was decent. I dont know what happened but they got new management and its gone to hell in a hand basket. You cant sit in certain seats unless theres a certain number of people in your party. So if theres only 2 of you, youre going to be forced to sit at a cramped table and constantly be bumped by people walking by. You can only get happy hour in the bar so if it fills up, your SOL. This was NOT the case when they first opened. But once we went in and heard about all the changes, we decided not to return. Its too bad because we spent at least 100 each time we went in and got to know a few of the servers. Guess its good for us cuz now were saving that money! UPDATE after their response: You might want to tell your staff that the management hasnt changed because we didnt know until the NEW manager told us she was new. In regards to seating, every time weve come in, until about a month ago, we were able to seat ourselves. It wasnt until this last time that we were told we couldnt sit in the booth. And the server told us THE NEW MANAGER made up this rule about 4-5 months ago. Again, tell your staff there isnt new management. In regards to specials, I totally understand and appreciate that the specials change. No complaints with that. The issue is when your bar is full and then youre seated in the regular part of the restaurant and then told you cant get the bar specials. Why wouldnt they be available if the bar is full? Actually I really dont care because we wont be back. Its too bad yall cant take criticism from your patrons to make it better and a place where more people would want to be instead of defending it. But if youre happy losing customers and those customers passing on the word of mouth, cool!

Terrible experience for my family and I. They had us squeezed because we had more than 6 people and knew it was automatic tip. The service was likely the worst I have ever seen. Aloof, didn t listen, nickel and dimed us on refills and condiments, served us in paper plates and to go boxes. It s a nice atmosphere in there but terrible service. This place has declined significantly. I arrived around 10:20pm (posted hours of operation is till midnight). Placed drink order then was advised the kitchen closes in 5 minutes. Placed an order then young lady comes over and says, its slow tonight so no more drinks will be served (no last call). Then food arrives to go instead of on a plate. As a customer, Id rather not hear about your light bill after you allow me to order 2 drinks and food. Very disappointing and no longer a fan. Sad thing is, this place had better customer service when the owner himself forfilled multiple roles himself.

Run, dont walk away from this place. The floors were sticky, no garbage bags were in the bathroom, and they had not been cleaned in a few days. I dont know how you manage to mess up deep-frying food, but they do. It was raw and nasty. The staff was nasty. What is with the short shorts? Is this a sports bar to watch games or a place to watch staff partially naked? My wife and I were asked to move from the booth because it was happy hour, the football game was on, and the booths were for more than two people. The sad part is there were only eight people in the bar. No one wanted the booth we were sitting in. They had the couple behind us move too. We all did move right out the door. One appetizer, two beers, and two drinks were $45. Do yourself a favor, do not go here. You will be happy that you didnt.

Great ambiance and better food! The grilled chicken salad is to die for! Update: almost a year since the first review I made of Drafts and, unfortunately, the quality of the restaurant has suffered since then. I usually have a great time at this establishment. This place is a great environment to hang out with friends and decompress after a long day at the office. The staff is extremely friendly and always offers excellent service. Unfortunately after my last visit I plan on being cautions when coming here in the future. The food usually takes a long time to come out even when the place is not very crowded But it s usually very tasty so I don t seem to mind much. This time however it took way to long (over 2 hrs). While we originally arrived at 8:30 and all placed our orders at the exact same time a few of us didn t receive our food till past 11:00 pm. It took so long that some of our party got their food and ate and eventually went home before we even received our portions. I tried talking to management by explaining what happened and ultimately they didn t seem to care as much considering we still received our food. Moral of the story if you plan on spending your money here and your food takes as long as ours did you might just want to pay your tab for your drinks and leave immediately!

I have been going to greedys since Duncanville days. I love his style. However, I have been going and inviting large groups to drafts. The manager is rude and very disrespectful. I went there with coworkers and we had wings and drinks. I ate with everyone else and contributed a tip to the large bill. I came in today and was approached by the manager being accused of not paying for a wing basket!!! I had returned several times since the aforementioned dining. It was so bad I had to call one of the girls who sat with us to prove it was not me. The waiter who accused me quickly changed her stance, but the manager did not offer an apology and I left vowing to never return. Hopefully, he will get rid of the lying crooked server and his bad attitude.

Very disheartening to know I can go to one location owned by a person & get a drink made the way the recipe is meant to be made; but when I go to another location owned by the same person I m told the drink I want is made with LESS liquor than the original recipe says it should be made with. Being a drink connoisseur, friends of experienced bartenders, I know drink recipes & it should not matter the locations of an owner, the drink should be made according to the exact recipe & a bartender should be willing to oblige instead of being rude about the situation.

Ive actually been to this bar several times. The food is good every time. The staff is friendly even though they are desperately understaffed! The owner is pleasant but he doesnt take accountability for anything wrong. Pros Great catfish, atmosphere, and drinks taste good from SOME of the bartenders/waitresses (bc everyone is making drinks) The waitresses are extremely nice and they remember repeat visitors Cons You can have 5 drinks at happy hour and still not feel a buzz. Theyre a tad lightheaded to say the least. The food takes FOREVER to come out, although it was faster the last time I visited. Still if four of us are eating, we want our food at the same time. Kitchen management is nonexistent. The tables are too low at the booths to eat comfortably. The food is served in STYROFOAM to-go containers. Terrible for the environment and tacky. Just wash plates guys! Bottom line LOT of potential and most things are easily fixable if someone will care enough to fix them. Im not giving up just yet!

The kitchen is the most important part of a bar other than customer service. So far since moving here I ve tried the Regular catfish fillet, Nuggets, wings, & now burger. The nuggets & wings is only thing worth while so far. The burger is smaller than the bun, look like they cut a bacon strip in half to imitate 2. I ve had the nuggets several occasion & always good big portion. Seems like 3 of the fillets. The fillets were kind of small & second time I had were over cooked so I never tried them again. Real catfish though. Wings were good also, hard to go wrong. Every time I go in seems like good atmosphere, laid back. Older crowd 30+. Never had any drinks pointless when there s a liquor store next door.

My first time ordering from this place, I got a catfish basket with no sauces. Have you ever eaten deep-fried salt? Molded into catfish fillets and French fry shapes? I took one bite and started wondering what the symptoms would be for high blood pressure and if I needed to drive to urgent care. On a positive note, they are nice sized fillets, wish I could have eaten them. Oh well.

First visit. Saturday around noon. Welcoming staff, clean restaurant. Nice selection of draft beers. Good bar food menu offerings. The owner recommended the catfish. Order the catfish nugget plate. Very good. Meal arrived hot food and generous serving. Really enjoyed talking with owner Pete. I ll be back.

I ve been supporting Greedys from Duncanville to Desoto. When my girls and I heard about Drafts, we know that it would be an awesome spot untillll .. December. It was my friend s birthday so we decided to go there and hang out. We all ordered food and drinks. At the end of the night, everyone cashed out. After everyone paid and left, the bartender told us someone didn t pay. So we asked everyone to send their receipts from their phone and we showed her. She was still saying someone didn t pay. To keep confusion down, our friend paid for the unpaid ticket . The next day, we went back to speak to the manager to tell him that something wasn t right, but he was sooooo nonchalant and dismissive, we just left. My friends continued to go up there. Fast fwd. During the Christmas break, we met up with coworkers and everything was taken care of by one of our close friends. Before leaving, we asked if everything was taken care of because of the history, and she said yes. We went two more times and nothing was mentioned. Tonight, the same bar tender pointed at my friend while accusing my friend of not paying her bill, the night we met up with our coworkers, to the store manager. When my friend went off, the bartender changed her story claiming it was someone else at the booth make it make sense. Same bartender .. but the store manager/ owner is so dismissive, it s unprofessional and ridiculous.

When I read two of the posts about a bartender saying they didn t pay, I had the same experience.There is a female bartender who looks like the wayans brothers on the movie white chicks who said I didn t pay. I know I paid and she knows I paid. The next time I went I asked for the owner. Dude was mad disrespectful. They said his name is Pete. Dude needs to know and understand that bad customer service, this place will not survive. Black business owners can t complain about support of your attitude is jacked up.

I didnt see my post so Ill post again. Been to Atlanta once. I loved ATL. This reminds me of Atlanta. I will certainly be back. Didnt not have a bad experience. Drinks were good, food was good. Great place to chill, hang out and just relax after a really long day. Will surely visit this place quite often. Tap selection could be a bit better; more craft and less of the not so good beers. Really good prices for Happy Hour. Ordered the tenders and egg rolls, they were good. Ordered wing basket,.wings were double fried so they were over cooked and they actually charge you .25 for ketchup for your fries that come with the wing basket! Wow! Ended up getting another order of egg rolls and tenders. I live in Cedar Hill Lake Ridge neighborhood and always pass this place,.decided to stop. I will make sure I eat before i come next time for drinks.

This restaurant is a great addition to the community. Typically not a huge fan of catfish, but their catfish is AHHMAZING! If you dont live nearby, its worth the drive. I also enjoy some of the house made drinks, like the Henny Drop. I challenged it and the drinks originator made me a believer! 5 stars for a well-run organization.

I read reviews about Drafts on Next Door. The reviews were excellent. So, I ordered catfish platter, burger, chicken tenders, and salad just to check it out. The reviews said the catfish was great! They were right... everything was delicious!! Will be going back real soon.
