I did not give it a full 5-star rating because of the lack of staffing. When you go to an establishment like this on a weekend, it should be fully staffed. If its hard to find staff, that could be because of how you treat your staff, most of the staff or kids, but they deserve respect as well. My family (7 people) arrived the line was not too long, so it was pretty quick. When you purchase your tickets there is stuff additional to add to your basic ticket. Like ziplining and archery. Ziplining was a bit of a wait because they had a large event going on and we had to get onto a waiting list with an appointment time which was never told to us when we purchase the tickets. Archery was not open and it took them about 20 minutes if not longer to find a staff member before opening that area. With this being a place for kids there should be more food option. I really dont remember what the option were, but my son when to purchase food and we ended up eating the donuts in his car that was purchase that morning and leaving 30-minutes later to go eat else where.

Spent $195 inclusive tip for 3 & 1 non-participant only to be able to do 2 activities. The Rock climbing was over an hour wait as they can only allow 8 at a time and you can stay there as long as you want making it a longer weight. The kids enjoyed the Zip-lining activity which they assign time and took almost 1.5hrs. Would I return NO, I d rather Epic waters any day as you get to do more for less the amount. The agents at the activities were not customer friendly. At some time, most were on lunch break hence slow to join activities especially if you need to be secured.

This park is where a kid can just be a kid! We hosted our son s 10th birthday here and it was nothing short of perfect from start to finish. We chartered a bus from Dallas for all 25 friends and the boys felt like rockstars! The staff was attentive, called ahead of time to confirm waivers for a smooth check-in, made reservation times for the ropes course ahead of the party day and all their thoughtful preparation equaled a day full of fun and not paperwork. When we arrived, we were assigned three hosts just for us to serve pizza and our cookie cake! What captivated the kids were all the different choices and free reign to be a kid! Thanks for making a kid s birthday dreams come true! We will be back! And when word gets out, I expect more neighborhood kids will too!

My kids and I visited the park a couple weeks ago. The attractions are unique and were very fun for my children. Having said that I wouldnt return if it was free. Every staff member that I interacted with them was atrocious, rude, and condescending. You have a bunch of teenagers doing everything, I did not see a single adult staff member the entire time and it shows. When I pay for an attraction walk up and two of your teenage staff members ignore you. Then proceed to leave for over twenty minutes instead of addressing the guest in any way is shameful at best. And that was my best interaction with their staff. Whoever owns this place had a great vision. Whoever is managing this place should be fired. Again my children had fun here but you charge a lot of money for everything here and provide absolutely no customer service of any kind. Truly a disappointing experience. The aggravation and frustration I experienced from their staff would not be worth tolerating even if it was free.

We had our first visit to Bolder and loved several things about it. We purchased the black diamond pass and did an add on later. The concept is awesome and overall is a really fun place. My 10 yr old was tall/weighed enough to do everything. The staff was really supportive when hard moments of climbing arose for my kid. The staff was compassionate, patient, and taught him well. The concerns and improvements I would suggest primarily have to do with cleanliness. I know there will be sweat and smells from being so so active. But listen.. My kid could barely stand the smells coming from the netted play areas.. It was BAD. He opted not to play in there after about 10 minutes of trying. He came down saying how gross it was. I am not sure when they last cleaned those play areas. Plus, after you wear the harness and helmets from climbing, they are not sprayed or wiped down. They are given to the next person.. It was pretty gross. To say we rushed home to shower and change after our hours of fun us an understatement. Additionally, I felt frustrated because we did an add on for the ropes course, which cost $19.99 +tax a person. At purchase, they did not mention the Eagle level, which is the highest level, was closed for the night. We wouldve opted to wait and do the ropes course the next visit had we known. We didnt get to experience the whole thing. For an extra $64 it was not worth doing the add on if the whole thing wasnt open, especially the highest/best part. When I asked why it was shut because we saw people up there earlier, the staff told me they didnt have enough staff to keep it open for the evening. So that added some fire to the disappointment. Overall, the place was a lot of fun. I hope they improve the cleanliness.

Beginning this review by saying most fun parks are overpriced when you have a family of 5 or more. Families need value deals right now for activities to be worth going to. With that said, Bolder adventure park could be better if they didn t nickel and dime you for the other activities. Age attended were between 16-7. I had to pay $8 even though I was just watching everyone and not participating. The price of the diamond package would be understandable if the price included both the rope and mountain activity. The game area is so small it should be unlimited play with the price of a package. The blue pass could have included the jump pad. Part of the tree house was closed. Food and drinks are like most parks and overpriced. This place could do better with value based pricing. I will say they do give military discount thank you for that. The park and bathrooms were clean. The only interaction with staff was upfront and they were helpful and nice.

Small things keep this place from being 5 stars. Overall there are a lot of fun things. However, they have a jump pad that you have to have sticky socks for. You can bring your own, but they don t say they re required or even used when you purchase tickets, then they charge for them. Also, at the jump pad you can t do flips, even if you re the only person/group on the pad. Overall, it s a bit silly/frustrating to have these little things cloud what could be an even better experience.

The new employees seem rather young and they did not really care and seemed annoyed to even work there what are you guys doing? hire people who actually care and are professional and helpful. Take note from the new go kart place on their customer service. Will not return if management does not get there employees straight. It was a cool experience. But the staff definitely werent anything to write about positively. From rude interactions multiple times with teenagers who obviously didnt want to be there working and what seemed like incompetence in what the park offered. Also... kids were breaking rules in front of staff, but not a word was said. But I let my son in the exploratorion nets, and hes told he cant get in the ball pit for no explainable reason while there are children coming and going in and out. Id take come back. But I wouldnt trust the people who work there to priorize safety for your children. Just buy the Black Diamond pass and save yourself the headache. At least then you can do all the things with your kid.

We arrived around 12 and it did not seem overly packed. It looks amazing when you first walk in but the lines to get your tickets is painfully slow. Its very loud in there so if you have a little one who is sensitive to noise, bring headphones. It was hard to hear the employee at the register and (like every employee we encountered) seemed annoyed to be at work. Once we were in, we walked around and did a few attractions. We purchased the blue pass and bought socks for the jump pad. About 30 minutes after our arrival, busses of kids showed up for a field trip. There were already a few smaller field trip groups and it wasnt overwhelming but as soon as this group from MISD showed up, everything was packed. I asked one of the workers from MISD how many they brought and she said about 250. I am not against field trips but there needs to be specific days designated to groups that large. It was really hard to do anything because of the long wait times. The bumper car attraction is very small, there were 6 cars and no room ro really move around in area with your cart so you basically spin in circles and move a few feet in each direction. We were behing one of the groups from the field trip and there were a few times that others joined the group making us wait longer. The archery attraction did not have anyone there until 2 and when we asked multiple employees about it, no one had an answer as to when it actually opens. Its a separate purchase and there werent pens available to sign the receipt so she gave me a barely working highlighter. . The tree house looks amazing but most of it was closed off so we didnt get to experience all of it. You could only climb up the entrance and play in the big area with the balls, go down the slide or walk across a short bridge. And with the sheer volume of kids that were in it, it was hard to enjoy. There is a smaller play place that is similar to one at McDonalds but again, there were so many kids in there pushing and screaming that young kids were not able to play. Also note, there are 2 entrances to it. We ordered a pizza from the concession stand and it was really good. The drinks are expensive and this is a cashless place. All in all it was okay at best. Maybe we showed up on the wrong day to try it but with that many kids on a field trip, the wait times were very long, the kids attractions were overcrowded and every employee we encountered acted upset to be at work and moved slowly. The music was so loud on top of the crowd and attractions. It was expensive for the experience we had. I get that pricing is comparable to an amusement park but this isnt 6 flags.

Majority of the staff were not friendly. When asking for more clarification on a question regarding our safety on the ropes course for example they gave an annoyed face and expected us to know the answer already. The staff was young, and I understand they have to repeat instructions over and over through out the day but still does not give them the right to have an attitude towards customers. We were not offered any sort of compensation even though we had planned the whole trip around visiting Bolder. Seriously, how hard would it have been to just offer free bounce socks or the mountain experience as a free add on when most of the time we were there nobody was on the course. Not all the ropes courses were open, part of the netted play area was closed, archery didnt open in the 5 hours we were there, and the overall feeling from the staff is they were bored to be there. I m putting an extremely low rating because you have to know GREEN PASS GETS YOU NOTHING. Green pass gets you a few kid items and an arcade you have to pay more money for. There s three tiers and you can t really enjoy it unless you spend $50 a person and even then it s barely anything. They have green pass and non participant pass at the very top of their website so I wasted $50 on three passes that get you NOTHING. Overall kind of a waste of money for things that are barely mediocre.

Let me start by saying the concept of this place is completely out of the box and a fun experience for families, events, get togethers, and dates to laugh and share meaningful experiences. While here the faces of all the workers were sad one girl expressed to us how much she doesn t like it there and how mistreated they are. The water buckets were empty and we had asked for water the employees would exhale as if they were annoyed and get the water (I m guessing because multiple people kept coming to them) while there one of the girls was very helpful and kept making sure our safety is a priority the other one kept playing around and one even missed a step on how zip line which caused one of the other families in our group to get stuck. All around the place is not the problem. It was our first time there and we needed assistance on how to navigate the facility and we had no assistance. We went up to the top where the slide was and waited 5 minutes for someone to come up till we decided to do it ourselves. All around the place was good just the staff isn t helpful, welcoming, or even friendly. So when you come here be prepared to figure everything out on your own and hopefully you re not the ones that get stuck hanging 30 feet in the air for 3 minutes.

Bolder needs to take a look at Fritz Adventure in Branson, MO. They have a much more streamline process for check in, harnessing, general operation, etc. At check in, the attendant did not verify that waivers for my two children were even completed. I called the day prior to confirm that the passes we purchased would allow the kids more than one time access for the mountain climbing and ropes course; I was told Yes, as long as they are scheduled appointments; thats not the case. For the high cost, they were only allowed one time through on each course. The harness system was difficult for kids to work with. An attendant went up on the more difficult mountain course, I thought to assist with my younger child, but she paid no mind to him when struggling with the system. When the workers were going over safety and instruction, they do not speak up and you cannot hear them over the loud music and bustle of everything. Not only my kids were confused about things. There was an older teen and his dad in their group and they both also had lots of confusion and questions after the safety and instruction briefing. Gloves are not provided for the climbing and ropes courses. You could not tell if an attraction or activity was open because lots of things were barricaded and no attendant was there. My husband went to the front counter to purchase a pass for the free fall and he was told they werent selling anymore for the day. He was told all the times were booked already until 6pm and thats when they stop the free fall. At that point, we had already been there for 2 hours and not a single person had been on the free fall. When he pointed that out, the employee stated they were too busy and just couldnt sell anymore for the day.

Its alright. I mean, all things considered, this place is.. kind of unreasonably expensive. It costs nearly $90 for 3 people (me and my 2 little sisters got the blue pass) and without paying extra for the arcade or the whole mining thing.. the entire place was kind of underwhelming I guess? Its kind of like an overpriced version of Urban Air- except without the trampolines. Dont get me wrong, my little sisters (especially the youngest) had fun and would like to return, but I wouldnt consider this place suitable for older teens and adults-at least with just the blue pass alone. I guess it wouldnt be far off from being compared to Kids Mania or something like that, with the playground being the main thing my little sister spent most of our visit doing. During the summer, there wasnt synthetic ice skating, it was some kind of jump pad. They make you pay extra to wear special socks before you can even enter the jump pad, which left my sisters dissapointed. Its actually a decent place to go to, especially if you have little siblings/kids and nothing better to do on a weekend, but I definitely wouldnt return anytime this summer.. maybe in the winter to try synthetic ice skating?? Idk.. we might be better off going to the Dallas Galleria and ice skating there.

I would not recommend them for birthday parties. We had ours there this past weekend and the customer service was awful. They have young kids on their phones during check in and they made some party guests pay even though they were included. I asked to speak to manager and I had to find her myself, because the message was not passed! The pizza was cold and it felt rushed. It was a horrible experience for the money they charge.

First, I ll like to say the experience was awesome for my children. HOWEVER, I encountered at least 3 rude workers. I mean they were disgustingly rude, they all worked at an attraction and one may have been a manager who was hella RUDE! Luckily my children didn t notice because they are children. One worker came (the manager) while my child was on the rope course and assumed she wouldn t get it, but as she walked up I was explaining to my child how to do it and I was letting the worker who walked over know that I already was telling her, which my child go it. She was rude and dismissive. I wanted to let her have it but not on my son birthday! I ve heard negative comments about the workers but said I ll see myself instead. If the workers don t get it together this place will eventually close or have a lot of confrontational issues. I don t think we will ever come BACK!!!

I am a frequent customer at this establishment and it s a great place for family and friends. The grounds staff and areal staff are always great and on point with their customer service as well as the cafe and front desks staff. My issue is the fact that as a customer I have seen two many times other guest will get upset and in the faces of the workers and it is handled poorly by a specific office staff member. I have witnessed the areal and grounds staff take situations as such very respectfully and composedly just while guest continue to cause problems asking for higher ups to come resolve the problem. And as I stated I have witnessed a few times where a higher up (a specific office worker) will come and completely disregard their own employees and just give the costumer what they want. My problem lays here: the customer is NOT ALWAYS RIGHT in certain situations, your employees safety is your main responsibility, and this establishment HAS THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE! If a guest takes up a problem with a worker and that said worker tries to resolve it to the best of their ability it SHOULD NOT be ok for that guest/customer to get into a workers face and threaten and cuss that worker out. The majority of the staff here are teenagers and that is no issue but as a higher up and older staff member one of your priorities should be the safety of your staff, not letting guest get away with whatever they want. There are rules and guidelines in place for a reason so if a guest does not want to follow that then the workers have EVERY RIGHT to REFUSE SERVICE especially when threatened or felt provoked. So my issue is with the office- you need to get your priorities together and TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OF YOUR STAFF. As a frequent customer I should not have to be writing this review and I should not have witnessed things like this happening in such a lovely, family friendly establishment. It deeply saddens my heart to see the way staff is treated here by higher ups. GET BETTER OFFICE STAFF OR HIGHER SECURITY!

Simply put: Unsafe, inattentive staff, never coming back Full explanation: It makes sense why you must sign a waiver before doing anything because you are for sure at risk of getting hurt. I visited Bolder on 5/10/24 and every single staff member that I interacted with was disrespectful and in their own world. Most of the employees were talking amongst themselves and straight up ignoring my group of 4. I saw a young employee running around and playing with other employees instead of helping. She almost even ran into guests. The group of 4 I went with did the black diamond option with the ropes course. When we went to get our gear for the ropes course, again, all the staff members ignored us. We had to ask multiple people what we needed to do, and no one responded. They finally sent us to the harnesses but failed to tighten them appropriately. I have experience with ropes courses and rock climbing as I run a ropes course, and I had to tighten other peoples harnesses because staff members failed to do so correctly. Once we had all our equipment, my group stood there, and we had to ask what was happening next or if we were good to go. Instead, we were again ignored, and that is when our group leader came running over to bring us to the ropes course. The employees who were at the ropes course that day seemed like they hated everything about being there. No smiles or communication or even asking if we enjoyed anything. When interacting with us, they all had straight faces but were laughing and talking to their coworkers. After we got off the ropes course to return our equipment we were given the same horrible service as we did when we walked in. We actually had to loosen and take our gear off by ourselves as employees sat and watched. My friend actually had to interrupt the employees conversation circle to let them know we were done. When I was on the ropes course, I was near the final zip line when an employee came across. I stopped on the platform as I couldnt proceed and he then wrapped both of his arms around my waist to reach my ropes. I felt so uncomfortable as he didnt ask he just grabbed me. Not to mention the condition of most of the equipment was poor. One of the obstacles on the ropes course was walking across a literal ratchet strap while others were covered in duct tape. While on the ropes course, I noticed the kids jungle gym had loose netting on the very top. I witnessed a young girl slide down the slide, and her feet went through the mesh... 3 stories up.... We also went to the blaster zone, where none of the equipment was sanitized or cleaned. We asked the guy working there if the goggles were clean, and he just laughed. The unprofessionalism here is throughout. When I was on the ropes course, I also saw an employee with a plastic ball from the ball pit, and he was playing with it at the bottom of the slides. What Im assuming is a supervisor told the boy that he knows hes not supposed to have the ball in that area and needs to put it back. Once she left, the boy continued to play with the ball and ROLL IT UP THE SLIDE WHILE A KID WAS ABOUT TO COME DOWN. The slides were fun, and my group went on them three times. However, every staff member running the slides did not talk or even smile in our direction. Most of the time the staff was not even paying attention to the guests. My girlfriend went to order our pizza and drinks at the bar, and the guy behind the counter ignored my gf while he made himself a drink. He then proceeded to yell profanities at the other employees in the back. He said something along the lines of You guys are taking so f**** long. My girlfriend finally received our alcoholic beverages, and then another member of our group went up to do the same. That friend also ordered an alcoholic drink, but he was given a bracelet that said he was no longer allowed on the climbing activities because he was drinking alcohol. So half our group received cant climb bracelets, and half didnt, even though we were all consuming alcohol. I wish I could put more but I hit my word limit.

Our group was half adult, half children (aged 8-14) and we all had fun the few hours we were there. The kids enjoyed pretty much everything (especially Blaster Zone) that was offered, while I liked the Climbing Adventures the most. Ive done outdoor rock climbing several times before, and its convenient how they have auto-belay systems so you dont need a partner. However, I noticed several loose holds that would spin freely and nearly messed up my climb. We purchased Black Diamond tickets, which gives you the option of picking either the Ropes Courses/Zip Line or the Mountain Experience (Via Ferrata). Our party split up between these two choices and reserved the same time slots. I had a good time doing Via Ferrata for the first time, and it makes me want to try an actual outdoor one sometime. We ascended after a short briefing and followed our guide. The only issue was it took some people a long time to get across a section. Most of the group had no problem progressing, but we could only move as fast as the slowest person which caused us to wait around before being able to move onto the next part. Our colleagues who oped for the Ropes Courses (who began at the same time) finished way before we did.

What an amazing place! From the outside it looks like an assuming big balloon, but once you go through the revolving doors and your ears pop and the amount of sound hits you, it becomes evident that this is going to be a wonderful experience! We were a group of 18 people, and everyone really enjoyed themselves! There was always something new around a corner. We spent 5 hours there and I think that was an ideal amount of time. They were quite busy that night and our food (4 pizzas, nachos, chicken strips, fries, etc) took about an hour to be prepared, which was not ideal, but I do understand that it doesn t matter how many staff you have, a place making pizza is limited by the oven capacity. I do think that in their haste to dish out pies, our pizzas were a little undercooked. I have to add that we only had good experiences with the staff! I had read that some people had some issues, but we found the mainly young staff to be pleasant and knowledgeable! We will definitely be back and the kids are already taking about coming back with other friends!

The parent waiting area was nice and the food was decent for a play like this. If I had to say a negative it would be the arcade is very small and the 7.99 fee for non participants (aka me). I feel like when I m dropping about 150 on two kids a parent should be free to sit on a couch. Other than that no complaints!

Boulder went out of there way to open up alternative attractions so that every student got to participate. Navarro, the supervisor/manager, in particular went above and beyond to ensure my students safety and enjoyment. He was incredibly accommodating to any needs we had and sought to make sure we were having the best time possible. Jett also worked with some of our younger students and was incredibly supportive and encouraging towards them. I would 100% recommend this experience, even with the price tag. It is worth it.
