Longhorn Title has helped me close a home loan for one of my customers so far and they did an awesome job. The whole process was very smooth and everyone involved in the transaction was kept in the loop. Additionally, shout out to Stephen Walker and the team for helping me track down some info for a transaction they weren t even handling! Much appreciated!!!

Update 12/22 A few weeks after my experience with Penny. Guess what? I did purchase this property from my sister, who also leases back from me. Security Service out of San Antonio provided the service i needed. Ssfu had no problem with the relationship aspect. If my bank and my sisters bank had no issues, that was good enough for SSFU. I also live here now but will keep my Title co. needs and services in Austin and San Antonio I standby my initial review for Longhorn Title. If i could give zero stars because of how i was treated, I still would. I would give zero stars if that was an option I was making an inquiry regarding the purchase of a family members property, and we are in need of a Title company service. I chose this company due the reviews and location. I was immediately made to feel as though I was in the process of trying to commit fraud. I was told by Penny that this is a transaction that we frown up on, too too many red flags, and the underwriters wont go for this. This individual (Penny) doesnt know me from anyone else, and it may be their practice to be blunt, unprofessional, and overly aggressive, which is deterring new business. Like I said, she doesnt know me from anyone else, and she just costs her company some future business. with assumptions. This is a small town and small-minded Georgetown Texas. Some things just never change. Im keeping my business in Northwest Austin. Ms. Jefferson

This is the worst title company I have ever had the displeasure of working with. Incompetence at best. Multiple delays on closing a simple transaction due to their internal delays. Avoid at all costs.

I had never used this title company before, but am very happy with their service. Tamra Wilson was the escrow officer and when she found out that I had to go out of town on our closing date, she made arrangements to meet at the title company on a Sunday to get docs signed. Cant say enough about their customer service. Thank you Tamra!
