Got a Rueben. I live in sun city so am familiar with the restaurant. Picked it up went right home(3 minutes away) opened it, toasted rye bread was soggy, sandwich fall apart when I picked it up. Fries cold soggy. Really a waste of my $$.

Located in Sun City- a convenient place for friends to gather. Service is friendly and efficient, a lot of fun events take place there( I was with a group of twenty). The food is not a reason to go there- it s ok - very average but I don t mind if I m there for a gathering. I would not eat there if I were looking mostly for a dining experience.

I didnt have to wait long to be seated, I got to the table and the waitress knew the menu and said I couldnt go wrong with the burger. She was spot on. The 1/2 pound Angus patties, alvacodo, bacon, egg, and cheese.... YES PLEEEASE. This was a surprisingly good hidden gem. This is my neighborhood pub and I really love the atmosphere and sense of humor the owner Nels has. I hate to see so many negative reviews and while Ive had a couple of experiences that werent quite up to par overall its a great community restaurant with good prices, really decent food and normally great service. My only complaint (or more accurately a request) is that they carry Shiner Light Blonde on tap or even in a bottle. Its a great Texas beer well liked by all of my friends.

I eat breakfast here frequently with my parents. The food is pretty standard and the prices are good. I have always found the staff to be kind and friendly. Yes, there may be a wait for your food. As with all restaurants now, there is a shortage of staff and a high turnover rate. Be patient. My one and only complaint is that I have never had hashbrowns I felt were cooked correctly. They are either barely cooked or practically burned on the outside and uncooked inside. I believe the kitchen staff is rushing to get orders out and not letting them cook. This could easily be corrected. Overall, this is a wonderful community restaurant and will always be a mainstay for us.

Decaf coffee has been tepid last 5 times. Wait time after ordering breakfast food was an hour. And then the order was wrong. So we had to wait for remake. The food was just tepid, which seems like that happens a lot. Especially if you re sitting out in the new enclosed area, the food just doesn t arrive hot. We do love the new train that s going in. Service is a hit and miss every time you walk in the door. For being a country club restaurant on a golf course in a prestigious community who are serving an upper echelon class of people, you would think the owner would have enforced some kind of decent dress code for their staff. Set a standard! When you look around the dining room and see what lovely patrons are dining amongst you, and then you look at the staffs ridiculous attire waiting on us all. with goofy clown socks, rings in their lips and noses, purple, pink, green hair, and completely tatted-out!!! It makes us feel like outsiders in our own community restaurant. It should NOT be happening here of ALL places. Several folks have expressed exactly the same feelings, and just like us, they are venturing away from here more and more. Especially, the after-church crowd who come in dressed nicely on Sundays with family members, friends, and neighbors. Expectations are no longer being met here. The staff is bringing Mulligans DOWN. The kitchen staff is so loud, yelling, joking around loudly, barking like a dog for the joke of it! There is NO SOLID supervision on anyone who works here! We will refrain from planning any future events here as it no longer meets our standards. The food has become Meh! Again, a hit and miss. And surely, we will never plan to bring guest here as it has become an embarrassment for our Golf Community. Having to look at a childish Toy Train right outside, up against the large glass windows taking over our once beautiful golf course and lake view, is a hideous joke on everyone. Where are we?? Disneyland? Of all the open areas, why there? Mulligans has sadly LOST its long time appeal.

This was my first time visiting. My parents have eaten here several times. Rachel our server was fantastic! My dad had a stroke several years ago and has some memory issues. Rachel remembered his usual breakfast order. She was so friendly and attentive. The food tasted very good. I had the short stack: 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and 2 sausage patties. The atmosphere was ok. As mentioned in other reviews the flies were very prevalent. The interior of the restaurant could use updating and freshening up. The mens restroom was kinda dirty and really could use a deep cleaning. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant was very wheelchair friendly. The restroom was plenty big enough for my dads chair. The sink counter was a little high but still worked for my dad without issue. The staff was very accommodating in seating and removing a chair so my dads chair could roll up to the table.

I ordered a cheeseburger at Mulligans hoping that a previous experience was one off. Previously I ordered a hamburger there and it tasted like a dried up rubber tire. It was the same this time. Very disappointing. Overcooked, dry and rubbery. Come on mulligans, please pick up your game when it comes to a hamburger. You should be able to get a good hamburger at any restaurant. Stop pre-cooking them. Cook them fresh and cook them to order. The guy that I was with said it was like gas station food. I told him he was being a bit generous. Sun city golf course grill and bar. Went with my y parents after church. Bout a 20 min wait. Under staffed, but thats the new norm. Asked server what he eats. He hesitated and just said everything ....lie! I was in the service/hospitatly biz for a long time. I even managed/bartened, golf cart bev girl, and server at Private golf course in Walden, Montgomery,Tx. For 5 yrs. Anyway I had the FRENCH DIP SANDWICH.... DISGUSTING, YUK, COULDNT EAT THE MEAT. I ordered a Mulligans burger today at approximately 4 pm to be picked up at curbside within minutes of placing the order. I payed extra to substitute french fries with onion rings. I envisioned a great Augus beef patty with all of the trimmings and large, crispy onion rings. I received a burger with limp slices of bacon and limp vegetables, especially the lettuce and a fried egg that had to have been left over from breakfast. I removed the egg, refreshed the veggies with my own and tried to eat the tasteless beef patty. After having a couple of onion rings that were anything but large and crispy, total mush on the inside and your basic frozen out of a bag and microwaved, I threw the rest of the burger in the garbage and for this, my bill was over $15.00. Mulligans is not a 4-star restaurant. hardly. It is a golf course restaurant and they do a good job at breakfast and lunch (most of the time). They have a very good staff but there are obviously serious kitchen issues. I live close and it is very convenient for me to frequent this restaurants but I think not. This experience this evening has me driving further into Georgetown. They enjoy a monopoly of a sort at their Sun City location so probably not too concerned about the quality of their service and food but things can always change. Shirley Nelson

Facilities look fancy. The restaurant is low key. Food was acceptable. I had the cheesesteak with fries. The peppers and mushrooms could have been cooked more. The fries were crisp and wonderful. The most notable issue was the fruit flies. We had them all around our table. I counted at least 10 on the wall around us. The server told us of full sticky traps in the back that needed replacing. Staff has told management repeatedly of this issue.

*Food Allergy Alert* I have to put this out so everybody knows if you have food allergies don t order the bread of a patty melt! The patty melt was delicious minus the bread I had a allergic reaction and ended up in the hospital. I called to speak to a supervisor or manager and Amber said nobody would be in until after 3pm. The bartender she was a delight and beyond attentive to my questions. She was aware I have allergies but we were told it s plain wheat bread AND that s a LIE! Please make sure food items are labeled correctly this could have ended worse. Taking steroids and two other meds for a week just a lot of itching and sleeping. The house wine is delicious and a must order. The other guest were kind and very conversational. I will NOT ever forget the longest legs I was in the presence of Texas longest leg female Guinness world books of records. Quesadilla we re different never had veggies come on a quesadilla and it was a star winner. Just remember this could have been a major lawsuit when customers have allergic reactions and reports it please take a name and number so that a member from management can contact them back. I will return I won t ever order the patty melt.

Food was good, service was good and the atmosphere is great. Sitting right across from the 18th green, sitting outside was the way to go. Only reason I didnt give it a 5 was we had to send two of our orders back because they werent done correctly the first time. However, they took care of us and made it right. We will definitely be back. If you are in the Sun City/Georgetown area outside of Austin, Id give them a shot

Food is great and servers are attentive. Manager is always around with a smile and great attitude. We live the Migas and eat here at least once a week. View is beautiful and relaxing.

This is what Mulligans Restaurant in Sun City considered a take out Thanksgiving Dinner for 20.00. Two pieces of processed turkey luncheon meat and two pieces of processed ham slices of luncheon meat, unseasoned frozen green beans, pitiful mash potatoes with what appears to be stove to p boxed corn dressing. This is beyond shamefun.
