Very good place for Mexican food, with a very Traditional and Beautiful Atmosphere, with good service, the food is delicious, I really had a great time, we can also highlight that the prices are affordable, there is enough parking space, they also sell drinks alcoholic in case you want to go eat and have a drink, and there is a lot of variety, I highly recommend it to lovers of Mexican Food....

First time here for lunch my wife and I ordered a couple of large margaritas and some nachos. The margaritas were terrible tasted like they had no tequila at whatsoever. At $12 a complete rip-off. The nachos came out and had the soggiest chips Ive ever had. Barely any cheese on the nachos either. Then we asked for green sauce and they wanted to charge us $5 for freaking salsa! Ive been to many Mexican restaurants and never had such a terrible experience. Way overpriced terrible food terrible Margaritas I will never come here again!

We ordered the fajita platter for two. The meat both chicken and beef were tough and looked like it came from the frozen section in a bag. The onions, bell peppers, mushrooms and carrots. Yea mushrooms and carrots that were cooked with the meat looked like a birds Eye medley from the grocery store. Nothing was grilled. Ive never had carrots and mushrooms in Fajitas. The rice had another Birds Eye medley of carrots peas and corn mixed in. The beans were bland pinto beans cooked in water nothing else. The queso was white Velveeta type cheese with nothing added to it...microwaved. Terrible food for the $$$$$.

Visited back In February 2023, Menudo was good and fair serving. been here a few times sense. But this is my last time. 12oz Menudo juice couple pieces of meat $15.99 and $3.99 for a piece of pig foot literally no meat on it. Either owner is attempting to increase income or it due to Bidenomics and Food Prices;; I visited again in February 2023, the Menudo was good and fair. I have been here several times. My review is from March im just now getting to it We showed up maybe 2 hours before closing time.Not packed maybe 2 families eating at the time and 2 more showed up a little after. The place is pretty good size inside with pretty neat dia de los muertos stuff on the walls. Parking is small but then idk how packed it can get. Our drinks stayed dried for a while. When the food came out it looked appealing but when it came to taste the refried beans were the best thing on the plate.My husband also mentioned that the best thing on his plate eere the refried beans.rice was on the dry side.My daughter had some stake she mentioned it tasted good but was confused as to why they would dump charro beans ontop of her steak. My youngest daughter got a burger and mind you she loves to eat just the patties with cheese and she took 1 bite and did not want it. So that says a lot. For being a Mexican restaurant i was not impressed at all and especially paying $90.

It was a busy day, I really wanted Mexican for dinner, we were headed to Round Rock, and Nena s came up on my wife s search. There was no wait for seating, it was quiet, it was cozy, the atmosphere was just what I was looking for. Service was prompt, efficient, and friendly. Portions we re just right, almost like a tip to the Three Bears House, without having to try the first two bowls of porridge. We got a small bowl of cheese for the chips, and I had a Chimichanga, the cheese sauce on the Chimichanga was wonderful. Thank you for a delightful dinner. We will be back. Update, we have been back a couple of times now, tonight, Nov 7th, I tried the Empanadas, specifically the beef ones. They were fresh, crispy, awesome. I WILL be coming back to try the cheese, and chicken filled ones.

Very well kept, colorful, and fun spot. The food was excellent and made with care. Great ingredients and home made items, traditional dishes for a Mexican/Tex-Mex spot. How did we not try this place sooner? We LOVE the food at Nena s Cazuelas! Probably the best salsa I have had in Texas- so much flavor and perfect heat. Queso- also awesome with great flavor and a little heat. Margarita s- delicious and plenty of tequila. The enchiladas with Rojas sauce- my favorite in Texas for sure! Pozole- yum, yum, yum! Oh, and the beans and rice! Service also excellent! We are looking forward to trying out so much more on the menu! Our new go-to Mexican restaurant hands down!

Worst experience ever, the coffee was horrible. A coworker recommended this restaurant, I was told the enchiladas were delicious. I order the Tex mex enchiladas they were not delicious half way through eating I found a piece of hard plastic. I did not finish my plate. I ordered chips and salsa, I was told it would be an extra charge I agreed. The waiter came out to check on other tables a total of 5 times and never brought my chips and salsa. I would not be recommended nor returning. There were only 2 other guest at the time of my visit.

After waiting for an hour and seeing other customers have their food served, we asked about our meals, the ticket had not been entered. We decided to leave. We would have stayed but the server instead of saying that they would prepare our order next, things happen, he stated there were many orders entered (after the fact) and we would have to wait longer.... makes no sense right? We paid for our drinks, no apology or discount for the inconvenience either. We simply wont return. One customer probably wont make much of a difference and I understand that mistakes happen. Overall it was the manner it was handled that will lead us to go elsewhere.

We waited a while for someone to recognize we were there to eat before someone brought us menus. Then they immediately took our drink order, brought our drinks and then took our order. 20 mins later or food comes. The food was not great, but not bad. I would describe the tacos El pastor as edible, my son got the kids breakfast platter and the first pancake had a hair in it (which happens sometimes). The second pancake he said was good but he said the potatoes were not good and the eggs were rubbery. Then we sat there for a good 15 mins after eating before I stood up and walked to the bar to get the check. The waitress asks for my card without giving me a bill and while I have an idea of how much it was going to cost, I dont believe I should have paid for the kids meal considering we had to send it back because of hair and I still never saw what I was exactly paying for. Dont waste your money here. It is not worth it.

If the owner reads his reviews he needs to hire additional staff ASAP! It shouldn t take 1 hour for 2 lunch plates! If you are in the food industry you better have the right equipment and right staff to serve your customers! The service of the waiters always varies, for the most part it is good when it is a girl but sometimes there is a young man and he does not give good service. I love the food. I live 2 hours away and sometimes I come to eat here only that I give 1 star because you cannot enjoy your food. Because if you want extra sauce/lemons/chips or a plastic cup to take away or whatever, they charge you extra and I have no problem paying it but they tell you as if they dont even want to sell it. I put a star just because I wanted to share what a disappointment I had I ordered my meal sat for about 45 minutes waiting for my meal a young lady sat and ordered the same thing I did she had her plate in 15 minutes now an hour of waiting I paid for my only beer and left without eating And I was not the only Treated so poorly I will never go there again

We won t be coming back to this place. We ordered two plates The food was cold and not good. On top of that we asked for a different salsa , all to find out they charge $3 for the salsa, unheard of! They asked how was everything ? After we told them all they could say is we re sorry. We should have stayed home. This place doesn t even deserve 1 star.

Ill have to say the only pro was that there sopes were good and the guy who serve us was ok. But I just dont think that already charging us a 20% tip on the bill was ok and you dont have any say on it no matter what. The owner said they do this as latin clientel dont leave tips...like what excuse is that?? I leave tip but dont like to be forced to leave it. Any group above 4 people already charged a fee is not ok. Then a $5 dollar mexican coke??? I know prices have gone up but that much...I dont think so.

I ordered breakfast tacos from here for delivery. The food arrived correctly and the perfect temperature! I had ordered some with bacon, some with chorizo, and some more vegetarian. It was absolutely delicious but they really heavily salted the bacon and the chorizo. When I say heavily salted it really overpowered how delicious their food is. The others I ordered that contained no meat were perfect. Makes me sad because the food is obviously amazing here just way too much salt in the meat. I will update this to five stars when I try again and hopefully don t need five liters of water to survive.

The service was great. The food was good but it could be better. We had the enchiladas rojas and the chile relleno. The sauce could be more flavorful. The salsa is really good. Their horchata con fresas and jamaica were really good and I would recommend y all to try it.

Need to update menu, they decided to choose the food for me, when they didnt have the thing i chose, and the gratuity included? I get it, waiters, waitresses live of tips but I believe if the food is good and the service is great, you dont need to be asking or in the case of this restaurant taking anything from anyone, values people. Its too hyped up. Bad Quality and Flavor, worst than a bad taco truck. I paid my bill and gratuity because I ate the food, not because it was any good, after almost 40 mins waiting.
