Came and dined in for lunch had the carne guidada witch was okay. Tortillas werent homemade or authentic, and salsa was leftover had chip crumbs from whoever dipped last. Arrived home with food poisoning and wouldnt recommend this location.

Although pico de gallo comes with many of their dishes, it does not come with fajitas and they charge you $1.50 for it if you ask for it. Onions that come with fajitas taste like pure Worchester sauce. Terrible. Service is usually good. Ive discovered I like to order the carne asada. It comes with Pico and sour cream (but no cheese). I love this dish. Still has those nasty Worcester onions though. Enchiladas Verde are good. Wife loves the protein bowl and Alberts Special. Mexican Martinis are good too.

Taco Tuesday! Yum! Ill be going back again on the same day, as well as other times. Their tacos are larger and better by far than fast food, with plenty of meat, lettuce, and cheese. Service was good. The tortilla chips are tasty, with less salt for those who like them that way (easier to add at the table if you like em saltier), and the salsa was very tasty, and not super hot, making it even better for this lightweight gringa. Parking: On Tuesdays, the lot nearby gets FULL! Its not small, but to get near the building, you have to compete with people who cant park larger vehicles in smaller spaces. Then there are the jerks who take up two spaces because they feel entitled.

I really want to give this place more stars because it s local, close to my house, and a great atmosphere but my service when I come here is so hit or miss. It seemed as though I was an inconvenience to them today when I came in ..I ordered an enchilada taco lunch combo and although it was quick and hot, the sauce they use is super weird. Just not what I expected at all. Almost tastes burnt. Same with the refried beans. The rice is good though.

I visited because I had an UBER delivery to get there. I first ate there 5 years ago . It was Outstanding. But that was the only time. After that 1st time, it was awful. Idk, was it something I said(?), I try to be friendly - stay out of ppls way - genuinely complimentary. Etc But I decided to stop eating there. I dont think they want my business.

As a patron of this business for the past 3 years, I hate to say, but the service has gone downhill. Prior to the remodel, this location was filled with great servers. And while there are still some of those great servers there, the past few times and especially most recently today, we ve been unlucky to have some pretty bad service. Tonight we sat for almost an hour waiting for our food after we ordered. Or server did not do much to check in on us, other than once or twice ask if we wanted more water. We watched as at least seven tables that were seated after us get their food before we even got checked in on. After asking again if we needed more water, we said we just want our food, to which our server replied I know. I checked once, but I can t rush the kitchen. Checking in on our food just once in the 45 minutes we waited after placing our order was crazy to me. I ve been a server in fast paced restaurants, and never have I ever only checked on a tables food just once, especially if it had been some time. These new servers need to do better. Food was great, service .not.

I gave MasFajitas three strikes before giving up. My first visits were fine and I would have probably rated them relatively high but, over the past year, staff changed and service began to suck to put it mildly. First visit ended with cold food delivered to the table and not apologies offered. The second visit about six months ago, started great with the drink order then no one returned to the table. After a thirty minute wait, I went to the back of the restaurant and found the waiter laughing and rolling silverware with a bunch of other waiters. He looked very surprised to see me standing in front of him. He jumped up and started appologizing and I told him my party was leaving. The manager came to the table and apologized and then presented us the bill for the drinks we were served. Did not expect her to waive charges, but any other place in the world would have to apologize for the bad service. Two weeks ago I took people back to try one more time and to see the new decor. We were greeted by a young girl who immediately began to tell us how tired she was and how she could not wait to go home. She took us out into the main dinning room which was full of dirty tables and was about to seat us at the last clean table in the room and I requested a booth. She said that she did not know where the bust boy was and it may take a while before a table could be ready. We all looked at her in shock. We counted eight dirty tables and a dirty floor throughout the living room. I told her that I did not want to eat there because it was too dirty and no one was addressing it. So we left never to return again. Dont get me wrong, what food I have had there is wonderful but the management and the staff have always been very lacking to say the least.

We used to love the food here. Our last two experiences weren t great. Ordered pick up, wrong food, thrown in carelessly leaking all over. Once we got the correct food the chicken was weird in enchiladas like gross. I couldn t even eat it. It was strange in color and texture like they switched vendors. Came here to get a meal with some real meat in it. The fajitas plate was more than perfect. Had charrobeans and rice. With corn tortilla. Some chips and yellow caso. Made the meal fly for 3 to eat. Also, my guess were served quickly and soon as they arrived. We even ordered 2 margaritas added to my order, no problems with payments, and everything was handled perfectly . Would come here with a group ready to eat any day. Meal cost me way less than expected around $42 with 3 people eating and drinking. All of us are left full and happy.

The food reminded me of typical mexican food I used to eat in Oklahoma. Bland and unauthentic. This is central Texas, we have great tex-mex here, there is no excuse for this low quality food. I ordered beef Fajitas for two with Charro beans. The fajitas were tender but boring. The Charro Beans were great. My wifes black beans were very bland. The flour tortillas were not good. The happy hour special was mexican martinis (an Austin favorite). These were TERRIBLE. Tasted like store bought margarita mix with some dirty olive juice, but to make it worse, the bartender didnt mix/shake it, so I got to enjoy the drink in the same order it was poured into the glass (cheap blanco tequila, dirty olive juice, and finally the margarita mix). The waiter, he was great, he made the best of a bad restaurant. He had to swipe my card 4 times, swapping our card readers after the second attempt, he grumbled that the card readers had been broken a while and he ended up having to type my credit card number into the machine. I guess, if the prices had been half as much, I wouldnt be so bothered by the poor quality food, but, at an average of $13 a plate before taxes, the food should have been top notch. Dont eat here, there are many many better places to spend your money. Kid-friendliness: Yes, kid friendly.

Tried to place a to-go order at the hostess stand and was told that only bartenders handle to-go orders. I take 2 steps and realize that two people are waiting for their orders and the bartender is not even interested acknowledging me. After waiting for a lengthy bit, he finally comes over with a stack of to-go food and impatiently tried to rush me through my to-go order. I made a comment about how they seem discombobulated... apparently he doesnt know the word because he immediately responded with how long he has worked here and yada, yada. We have finally scratched this place from our routine get togethers. Six of us for $1 Taco Night dinner. I have learned from the past and my 5 compadres confirmed my experience this evening. All 5 ordered the beef (hamburger) tacos and every one of the tacos came out dripping wet and ended up being too soggy to lift up and eat. The food preparers havent learned to use (or cant find) a slotted spoon when they add the beef to the shell. Thus they add a bunch of meat water. I ordered the chimichanga with sides of rice and beans and all of it was just barely warm when it reached the table. While Im at it, the tortilla chips were way over cooked. Maybe the money spent to rehab the place could have been better spent working on food prep.

This is the third time weve ordered food. We always have to wait 10 minutes or so before anyone even talks to us. But the food was okay, so for our anniversary we decided to get take out. I ordered chips and queso...didnt get the queso (we got salsa) and the chips were just twisted shut and upside down so they poured out on the floor. I was mostly willing to overlook that. Things happen. But then I found a set of false eyelashes in the chips. The flan more resembled scrambled eggs than flan. It went from to disappointing to disgusting real quick and we will never be returning. I cant believe we had to pay so much to be blessed with such an experience. Next time well just go to Taco Bell across the street. At least there we know what were getting and its half the price.

This will be the last time I go here. My parents will no longer support their business. Long story short, I went inside to make 2 to go orders. She asked me if I wanted a (ONE) drink while I waited, I said sure. When its time to pay, my card declines. I swear I had money on the card but bills will do that to you. I told the server I have no cash and no way of paying for this $2 drink. I said Ill be back I have to go get my mom to pay it. She INSISTENT to leave MY PROPERTY like my phone or wallet with her while I went to get money. I said no , you will not have possession of my property and Ill be right back I said. So the server ran out , blocked my car in so we were stuck there , after she went back inside, we got home. Not even 5 minutes later , cops are at the door and now I have a ticket of Theft less than 100$. All over 1 drink....... What was I supposed to do ? I have no money which I realized after trying to pay my bill. Was I supposed to do dishes in the back or something? Haha . Sorry but she tried holding me hostage over 1 drink . Which I told her I can get the money from my mom and comeright back. Instead , she pressed charges over a 2.70 $ drink.

Great lunch. Gino did a fantastic job. He was very attentive. Order was prepared correctly and delivered to the table very fast. Within 7 minutes. Drinks were kept filled and he checked in several times. Nothing bad to say. Was very good experience. Update 03/22 - Francisco took great care of us today for lunch. Its Taco Tuesday so go early or plan to wait. Very busy. Food still fantastic. Service equally great. Francisco took great care of us (again) today. The food is always fantastic. Service is superb. This has become our go>to Mexican food place in Georgetown. Highly recommend.

Update: weve been back a couple times now. Food is still excellent, and happy to report on proper service. Just goes to show, dont judge a book by its cover. Their food and proximity to us, is making Masfajitas a regular stop for us. Not to mention their good drinks. ___ Enjoyed our meal. Almost walked out w/o ordering, due to slow (non-existent) table service up front. Decided to relocate to the bar. Better, but perhaps not perfect, service. Good food. Im looking forward to their Taco Tuesday specials

Average attempt at Tex Mex. Food was not bad but over priced we ordered the fajita for 2, and we recieved enough meat for 2 tacos each. Should have been atleast 8-10 tacos for the price. About $40 just for the plate. Drinks were good Food : 1/5

We tried to give this restaurant a second chance. The last time we were there there were two Chihuahuas, sitting at a table, licking the table and they told us that they were service animals. They weren t in the restaurant and had no policy call the health department, they say to them and they put a sign in the window. I m at service animals and pets. Today he tried to give them a second chance and there was a long black hair in my red salsa. Manager came over and said he was sorry and I said well I don t think we can eat here. He turned around and walked away. It s Georgetown grows there are different restaurants to go to, and I would suggest you find a different one because they don t seem to have much of a track record

My son and I came in and were sat down at a booth. I m very understanding of how busy it was but the service was minimal. I ordered a shrimp taco, chicken fajita nachos, and my son ordered the birria tacos. The shrimp taco was a joke. It was dry and only had cilantro and onions and shrimp, no sauce! When the waiter came and asked about my order, I let him know in a polite way what was wrong with the taco and what I expected he then interrupted I ll take the taco off and then he walked away. Sir, you asked how my meal was but obviously didn t care. I can t complain about the nachos, I finished my plate. We had several flies and knat flying around which was annoying but we continued our meal. The waiter really bothered me. You pay for a meal, don t ask me how my meal is if you aren t concerned. I won t be back. I work too hard for Bad service. He didn t even offer water! No thank ya!

New review (and photos) added May 15th 2023 It s been over 2 years since I first reviewed this place, and we ve eaten here regularly since then. We ve never had a bad experience here. Masfajitas has become a fav place of ours, like I thought it would. Beautiful food! Plentiful portions. Really good chips and salsa, too! Great, attentive, and personable yet professional service. Colorful, clean restaurant. We will absolutely be back, as this might just be our new fav place to get Mexican food. MasFajitas would be wonderful for both a date night, or a family dinner, and everything in between. I m a fan!

I ordered this online and waited out in the parking lot. I went inside close to time it said it would be done. I went in, gave my name, and she said she d go check on it. It was not busy at all, many workers were talking. It took 15 minutes and she brought it out. I figured it would be hot. It s cold and tasted like it had been sitting there for a long time. I ordered enchilada plate. Very disappointed .
