My wife and I enjoy us some Carls Jr. From time to time. Today was one of those days. The Georgetown, TX Wolf Ranch location is the one my wife and I visit quite often. Today they had it all down to a tee, great food, great service and great atmosphere. The young man that brought my wife and Is food didnt believe I could eat everything I ordered; my wife tried to let him know I could. Well, he found out I could. He was a friendly soul though, checking on my progress with my food to see who would win. As stated earlier, Carls Jr. Is a great place to eat at.

The food is soo cheap you can get the California sandwich for 3.99 and the spicy chicken sandwich for 3.99 and large fries I think is about 3.50 I think anyways theres actually a decent amount of food for the price, definitely recommend.

Despite my order being wrong, my issue is the customer services, and being talked over in the drive thru line as well as on the phone. I know people make mistakes in fast food. And the common correction is remake the food for pick up at a later time. Which is fine I just don t have time to go back. My issue is the shift leader almost demanding the only way the order can be received is one linear order without deviation. Also talking over me in the drive thru and I could give her the answer if she would just pause and listen. She did the same thing over the phone and blamed the cook for making the food wrong because she knew the order was put in right. I could barely get a full sentence in without being over talked. That s why I m writing this review so maybe some additional training or action on their part customer service. She wasn t mean, but definitely poor customer service and going too fast.

The food was okay, the drive thru folks rude, felt like why didnt I come in vibe. Or the employees brought personal out side stuff to work day. Other than that the food was yummy. Wasnt overly salty or greasy, was just on same level as burger king. Only thing besides the customer service is the pricing of the menu items. As a guy in my forties with a couple of hungry kids always in tow, Ive got to say, Carlos Jr. Burgers really hits the spot. The place isnt fancy, but when youre after a quick, satisfying meal, its a winner. Their burgers have that juicy, homemade taste, and they dont skimp on the toppings - a big plus for me and the little ones. The kids meals come with a decent side and drink, keeping the youngsters happy and fed, which is all you can ask for. The service is fast and friendly, crucial when youve got impatient kids. I ordered via the app & went inside to pick up the order. I stood at the counter for at least 5 min before anyone said a word to me. I could see 6 employees from where I was standing so I know they could see me. I understand they get busy but there were no other customers at the counter & I believe 1, possibly 2 cars in the drive thru at the time. I finally get my order & leave the restaurant. The food was not for me but I couldnt resist reaching in for a french fry as it smelled really good & I was hungry. Mistake! It was disgusting! Extremely soggy! Warm but soggy. Gross. I could only hope the entire order of fries werent in the same condition as the one I grabbed. I waited till I got home before trying another one. I wanted to let the person whos food I had bought know what was up before I ate any more. Mistake #2...same experience as earlier. Soggy & luke warm. The burger was warm BUT it was soggy as well. It was swimming in mayo, had hardly any lettuce or tomato but a ton of pickles. If there was a place to type in special instructions I would def do that next time & req everything on the side with the exception of the meat & cheese...BUT there isnt. I dont know if Ill be ordering online or via the app, ever again. Im sorry but $13 for some soggy nastiness was too much. Esp when you cant even eat it due to the consistency of the food. Basically I paid $13 for a med size soda. Not cool. I wish I had thought to take photos!

This has become my favorite fast food restaurant. The burgers are flame broiled. The food is always hot and fresh. The service is always incredible no matter what time of day we have gone there. My favorite burger is the sourdough star. Just amazing. Kid-friendliness: My grandkids loved their kids meals. The burgers are like they just came off the grill, and the kids chicken nuggets are made of chicken breast and shaped like stars. My granddaughter loved them.
