Horrible front desk staff. Dr IN was rude to me when SHE came in 50 mins past my appt! Zero bed side manner!! I just got diagnosed w a disease, still havent heard from Dr.In.. horrible patient care. I have been a patient at Georgetown medical clinic with Dr Bohmfalk for 23 years after he left, the office went to s***. Nobody there cares about you. I was diagnosed with kidney disease and I still have not heard from doctor In, that is horrible, disgusting patient care. Im leaving this practice.

Have always been treated well and in a timely fashion. Check-in staff are friendly and efficient. Nurses and other care providers are also very good. I ve only been in Georgetown a couple of years, but have been pleased with my few visits to the clinic and Dr. Willis HOWEVER, God forbid you need a referral their referral desk will botch that up and you ll wait months to get to your specialist. I got a we re sorry call , but that s it I m the one who suffers and they say I m sorry

I will save you the trouble if you re looking for a primary care doctor. This place is a fortress for you to do absolutely anything, need med records? A week minimum (assuming you can actually get ahold of someone). Need to see one of the doctors? That ll be months out. Got a referral from a separate physician to see a specialist and they request Georgetown Medical Clinic to get involved via referrals? This place would rather see you die. Do not leave your faith with these people

I was 20 minutes early for an 8:30am appointment. At 9am, I was still in the waiting room with no communication. I had to get back to work. The earliest they could reschedule me for was the end of August. Completely unprofessional provider.

Ive had a decent experience with the doctors here but the facility itself has been the worst Ive ever experienced. Every time I call for something small, I always end up getting off the phone shaking mad. It seems like most of the people who work here are jaded and and defensive and do not want to take the time to to help figure out the most efficient and effective way to solve any issues. The facility itself seems to just be out to get money. You have to make an appointment for nearly anything, even if its a small question that the Dr could answer over the phone for you. I almost always end up with someone who has an attitude. Its like asking any questions just annoys them. Im just one person and dont matter to them but I will be finding another facility as soon as possible. Unfortunate that the doctors have to suffer from the staff being disrespectful.

Dr. Emily Nelson has the BEST bedside manner I ve ever experienced in a doctors office. She genuinely takes the time to make you feel heard and taken care of. She is personable, responsive and doesn t rush the appointment at all. She has referred me to specialist to help with chronic fluid in the ears. 5 stars for sure!

If your doctor orders labs, answer your phone when they call to discuss results because if you miss the call, you will have to call multiple times to get in touch with someone. My daughter had labs drawn and I have called 3 times, left 3 messages over the course of 3 days and still have not received a call back. The last time I called, I told them I had already left 2 messages and they assured me someone would call me back and they did not. Still waiting to find out the results. So frustrating!

Always difficult to navigate the appointment line. Never work with you on getting in for urgent care (I had shingles on my face and they wanted me to come in 4 days at the next available appointment). But we always stayed because Dr. Bohmfalk was so great! We have been patients of Tom Bohmfalk s at Georgetown Medical for almost 15 years!!! Dr. Bohmfalk retired (sniff sniff) and we haven t needed doctor s care in a year or so. The other day I called the clinic to establish care with another provider in the group and make appointments for my teenage boys to have physicals and check ups required before returning to school. I was told we would all now be considered new patients since our family doctor retired. I said that s fine, can we establish care with another provider now ? And then was informed, no, I m sorry we aren t currently taking new patients . I said, my family had been patients here for almost 15 years, you have all of our records, etc. and now we can t be seen ????? Yes! That s correct. At this point I don t have the desire to come back. I can not believe how disloyal this practice is to long time patients. Inexcusable.

Needed to get in to a primary doctor for a sinus infection and needed an appointment in a few days. They are listed as a primary care facility (not specialty doctors) and when I called they said they are booked out 4 months for new patients. Informed me if I wasn t a new patient, they could fit me in (so they did have appointments available) but I just wasn t established yet. My old office closed down and I didn t know it so I m having to find a new primary but also needing care now still. Poor practice and the lady was rude

Ive been coming to Georgetown Medical Clinic for years and have always had a 5-star experience. The receptionists are always welcoming and professional. The assistants to the physicians are polite and professional. The wait time in the waiting room and exam room will vary according to the situation the doctors are facing with their patients and its usually pretty accurate but can be a long wait if there is a patient or two ahead of you who needs a little extra time. Ill always come here no matter what. You should, too!

I was diagnosed with Diabetes-because my thyroid kept going out of wack. I needed more BLOOD WORK more often to check to keep it in the good zone. My doctor never said anything like let make a plan to Ck it more often and what we need to work on for diabetic now! So I decided to go to Diabetes n Encronology of Texas. In two months after seeing them I know what to eat and lost 16lbs. They got my A1C down 3 points. Your doctor s at the medical center don t doctor, they put on medication but don t explain and I had to go to a separate specialist cause my New Doctor refuse to refill my medication that Trisha Smith a doctor at the medical center had me on. Dr.Willigham refuse to fill it then staff sent me to out of network specialist cost me $200 a visit to fill one RX. Dr.Willingham not filling any control substances DOES NOT WORK FOR ME.

One of the worst experiences. I was checking in & the lady at the counter said I had an outstanding bill. Advised lady, it was summited as an out patient and that I would deal with insurance. She would not allowed me to see Doctor Willingham unless I pay the bill upfront. I was in pain with a very swollen foot and was was keeping hostage and not allowing me to see my doctor. Even after I told her i would take care of it with my insurance. That is not how you treat a long time patient.

David Willingham is the most condescending and insulting physician I have ever encountered. He refused to listen to me, understand me and obviously did not review my chart beforehand, or just didnt care. He is very insensitive to certain conditions and had no issues pulling me off of a medication Ive been taking for 5 years cold turkey because he has very closed minded beliefs. I dont know why Dr Florence Spitler is no longer there who treated me for many, many years but it is unfortunate the lack of empathy and care of David Willingham. I had two other medical conditions I needed to talk him about but he was so nasty to me I left. I sat in the parking lot for 15 mins because I was so upset and floored by his behavior to me. I would not recommend him to anyone. In fact, my husband and my daughter who used this medical facility will not be back. I refuse to be treated in the manner in which David Willingham treated me. My family and I are appalled at his lack of professionalism and condescending demeanor.

My wife came in with our 2 year old. Ryan Willingham (the doctor ), initially was nice and courteous. After learning that our family had a difference of opinion on personal beliefs regarding vaccines, my wife was called a liar, judged rudely, ridiculed in front of our little girl, and my wife felt extremely uncomfortable. We wish our old non biased real doctor Dr. Bohmfalk was still there. Been with him for 39 years, what a great man. But this Willingham guy, don t go see him if you don t want to be judged for having your own opinions based on your own real life experiences. Such an ignorant person. Then he had the audacity to tell my wife he would love for her husband (me) to come and talk to him so he can try and convince me otherwise. Good try, you don t want me to come visit you in person. If I could give zero star, I would. Recently, I scheduled an appointment for my covid testing, the clinic called me the next day, and told me that the online appointment is only for visiting the doctor, not for the testing. They rescheduled another time for me. Later on, they called me again, and saying that they are going to cancel the rescheduled appointment and wont give me another time slot. Their reason is since I have cold symptoms, then I should go to urgent care for Covid testing; I responded back that but I no longer have symptoms; they said then I should still go somewhere to do the Covid test, just no in their clinic, without giving me a real reason.

Ive been going to GMC since I was a young teenager. Ive seen various Dr.s as they retire, but Ive never been disappointed in the level of care they have always offered. My concerns about symptoms, or health care questions have never been dismissed, and Ive always felt like I was heard. I like a Doctor whos straight forward, and doesnt have a second thought about sending me to a Specialist to address symptoms they think may not be normal or should be reviewed by another, rather than trying to treat me themselves. I have always had good experiences with ever Doctor at GMC but am especially fond of Dr. F. Spitler, as her care makes me feel like shes treating a member of her family.

Myself and my wife have been coming to this clinic for years, and due to this outbreak of covid,we have been pushing off appointments. We needed to be seen due to illness that had to be addressed and I made an online appointment for my wife and called in appointment for myself. Both we accepted and confirmed,but 10 minutes before my wifes appointment they called and cancelled her appointment stating it was company policy because she was considered a new patient due to her not coming in for visits in the past 2 years. Very disappointed that her time slot was vacated due to policy. Had to scramble and find a quick clinic that would take her without an appointment. My appointment went well, but was a frustrating day.

Front of desk guys are cool and friendly. Inside Dr office very clean and tidy and hygiene atmosphere and Friendly and experience nurse. Daniel Voss very experienced Doctor understand problem and give very good experience advice for all my health related questions medications and treat. removed my cyst on the forefinger with in no time. Quickly done Blood work also. Overall I am well satisfied with their treatment in the Georgetown Medical Clinic.

Would highly recommend this doctors office. From the sweet & helpful receptionists, to Dr. Chuo & his very friendly & caring nurse, Deana. Dr. Chuo was not in a hurry & really projected that he cared and was very thorough. Will definitely go back! Called to get in because I was hurting, burning and was pretty sure I had a bladder infection. Dr. Chuo didnt have an opening, but was able to see a PA, Genevieve Poston. She was so very personable, friendly, and thorough. Really liked her! The front receptionist in the left window is always smiling and helpful.

Birth Control Ransom - After seeing Dr. Smith for a primary care visit back in 2020 she informed me that she could also fill my birth control. I was relieved about the idea as my OB had become extremely hard to get in to see. After providing me with less than a 6 month prescription, Dr. Smith refused to fill my birth control pills stating that I first needed to come in for an annual visit. I explained that I had no immediate need to come in for a visit, and was told that I would need to come in or else I would not be getting my BC refilled. I am a 35 year women in good health with no underlined health concerns. I have already seen Dr. Smith this year for another matter so its not as if she hasnt seen me in over a year. Dr. Smith is a family physician, not an OB - there is no reason for her to have refused a refill contraception aside from monetary gain. I have not gone back to her and warn those who are going for this simple reason to find another doctor. During the few visits that I did see her, she lacked empathy and was very dismissive. Go elsewhere!

We have been coming to the Georgetown Medical Clinic for a couple of decades now. They were great back then and they are still great today. Friendly staff, super medical professionals and they provide superior service. I can personally say they are the best in Georgetown and probably in Central Texas.

I wasnt impressed with the doctor I went to see. I am in the process of seeking a new primary care doctor. The ladies in the lab were not friendly at all! I gave 2 stars only because the doctor listened to me rather than talk over me. Not all of my illnesses and complaints were addressed.

Dr. Spitler gives me all the time I need with her. She is so pesrsonable and easy to talk to. I have had good experiences communicating with her office using the patient portal. The patient portal isnt meant to be used to make appointments, or for emergencies - its not a text-like system and I keep my messages brief and to the point. I am contacted within a day of my messages on the patient portal. I really love this office.

As with the rest of our state, the professionalism and service here at Georgetown Medical Clinic proves to be beyond disappointing. The staff doesn t seem to care. Most of the doctors couldn t spell stethoscope if they tried. The lack of knowledge is astounding My own mother knew more than one of the doctors. And their facility is run very poorly to say the least. I m not going to going to Georgetown Medical Clinic ever again, and I advise you to do the same.
