I love Best Buy first and foremost. This store is definitely different than the other stores I have shopped at. I usually walk in to the store and employee s are there right away to help! This store is different I have had 1 good experience and 1 bad experience. The 1st experience was horrible I took my husband s phone in to get all the apps transferred over to his new phone. I was directed to the geek squad. I informed him what I needed done and he looked at me like I was speaking a different language! I was so unimpressed that I took the phone back and didn t let him work on it. The 2nd experience was much better. It was an easy question and what I needed was very popular. But I had someone greet me asap. He proceeded to show me to the different screen protectors that I needed and actually suggested the cheaper one. I went ahead and had the store install it for me and they did a great job. Like I said easy. The other Best Buy I ve been to were a lot bigger and were much more helpful than this one was the first time but it s the store itself. It s smaller and not as adequate as the bigger stores.

Bought a tv box wouldnt fit in car removed tv from box to load in car, they instantly told me I vioded the warrenty, by removing TV from box I said fine lets go back inside and now you can spend the next 10 min removing the the 58 dollar warrenty, from my charge. Now we understand why they have been going out of bussiness, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

The absolute worst experience at any Best Buy. I ve had many instillations completed over the years, 3 at Bastrop and 1 at Bee Caves. Have had an install scheduled for a week in Georgetown and get here for my appt today, only to be told that the tech was out sick and the manager called me and left me a voicemail. Well I don t know who he called, but it wasn t me, cause I sure wouldn t have driven an hour and a half for no reason. The tech that is here, recommended I take an appt in KILEEN!!!!!!! Or I could leave my vehicle with him till Friday! What s the point of even making an appt then?!? You would think a manager would reach out to another location and try to work me in. Nope. I cancelled my order all together. Absolutely ridiculous.

Dont come here believing they can fix your iPhone. If its under Apple care, just contact Apple itself and they will send a one. You just have to put the money upfront for the new one, the money will be returned ones they have custody of your old phone. I wasted my morning on this

Had a head unit installed in my truck, unfortunately the steering wheel controls were not connected properly and only work about 50% of the time, if Im lucky. Tried contacting the store as well as the installation team directly countless times, left voicemails for the installation team, and MONTHS later, still not a single response. Now having to take my truck into another store entirely, where hopefully they can resolve the issue.

If you require assistance in returning a product with a Best Buy warranty, it is advised that you avoid taking it to the Georgetown location. The staff there are not knowledgeable and may make you wait for 45 minutes before informing you that they cannot replace your item even though verify it is a covered item. Instead, they will have to evaluate if it can be repaired within a weeks time and may charge an additional fee or even worse say you can take it directly to the manufacturer. I recently had to utilize my warranty for the second time at this location and found the team members to be unhelpful. The overall customer service was unsatisfactory and the representative I dealt with was extremely condescending. Apart from that, the warranties they sell appear to be a waste of money.

Cannot talk to anyone directly at the store, phone calls to any best buy automatically redirect to international support in India who cannot answer any basic questions about car installation services only compatible speakers for car make and model. Best Buy is predominately known for car installs, and I cannot book or speak to anyone local to book an appointment over the phone. No wonder they dont sell Linksys, company went soft.

I took my 4 year old laptop into the Geek Squad because the ventilation fan was making horrible sounds. I was able to get it looked at in under 20 minutes. They opened the shell and blew the dust out of the fan and ducts, tested it, put it back together... no charge. It works great now.

On 3/21/24 at 4:20pm precisely we came into this exact Best Buy store to purchase a high quality Laptop computer and there was an employee that had just finished with a customer and as I flagged him down he looked and walked away. Then another employee walked by so I decided to ask him for help. This employee proceeded to advise that he still has 10 minutes before he starts his shift then walked away not even calling for a working employee to help. I then saw the first employee again and asked if he can help us with the computer that i was ready to purchase. He took his time and was un concerned. So we decided to leave not making any purchases. I prefer to buy things like televisions in person and in thankful Best Buy is around so I can see what the differences are in person. Buying a television can be very confusing with all the qled, crystal led, oled, 4k, 8k, edge lit, direct lit, etc. Its one thing to understand what is theoretically better, but being able to see it in person and talk to a person with knowledge on the products really helps. After seeing the OLED TVs, I got a good deal on the LG A2 that was in clearance because they came out with newer models. I had to order the TV from their site and have it delivered because they didnt have the size I wanted in store. Its such a huge difference in picture quality and really color accuracy and contrast. I had a mid range Samsung 4k that looked good, and I didnt have any complaints, but it broke during my move, and Im OK with that now. Thanks, Best Buy.

It had been a while since I had been to Best Buy (the one closest to home closed over a year ago). I went to get a coax splitter. The price marked on the shelf was about $6, but when they rang it at the register it rang for 16. The cashier didnt care that the shelf price was much lower. I took my car to get my car radio installed and they broke my entire radio and still charged me for it. I had to go in twice for them to fix things and it was the worst experience I have ever had. Chris Chrowe was a terrible manager and I highly recommend not taking your car for any installations there. They will ruin your car and fight tooth and nail to fix it.

First of all the girl that was checking us out was watching TikTok on her phone while checking us out. Poor thing looked zoned out while trying to punch through the numbers. The main line was closed so we had to go to customer service and wait a while longer than necessary. Especially since there were 5 employees in the closed checkout area chatting away. They could have been having a team meeting or something but even so the girl watching TikTok may have needed to put her phone away so we could get through the line quicker since none of the other checkers were working. We got absolutely no help while looking for a tv. We searched for help believe me but there was no one. Normally at my home town Best Buy we get harassed constantly with employees trying to help. Here we could beg and get nothing. Ultimately I d suggest doing your research on the product before coming in because you will need it. Would I go again? Sure but not with a need for help or good customer service that s for sure.

Website & Apple support states they offer same day repairs at Best Buy but when I brought my phone there to get the screen fixed they informed me that they had to order the screen and it would take about 5 days. I have a common iphone that s came out no more than 2-3 years ago

Yesterday I returned a defective tv head set...was given a new one--I even questioned why it had been opened. Was told--oh it is okay. Got home and the head phones had been taped together...obviously had been used!!! Went back today. Manager was not available! A young man who has recently moved to Texas from Oregon asked if he could help me. Seth was kind, calm and so very helpful.. Agreed that the damaged headphones should never have been put back in stock--ya think!!! He ordered me a set directly from the manufacturer to be sent to my home address......THANK YOU SETH---Glad you are in Texas! Seth 5 gold stars. Best Buy No gold stars

Returned a laptop yesterday (9/4/23) and traded out a Garmin watch for a more expensive one. The low rating is due to the lack of any sign of customer engagement on the part of the two staff I worked with at the return desk. The first one yelled at me from across the room asking if I had a receipt, which I did not and insisted I needed a receipt. Then another person jumped in and never looked at me, never smiled, never asked me anything relevant about the returns. It was all very mechanical. This type of interaction is why myself and possibly others would prefer to buy on Amazon. On Amazon I have zero expectation of the platform engaging me in any way other than to make the transaction happen. Unfortunate this happens but somewhere there is a leader who is allowing this to happen.

The guys in the install bay (Zane, Carson, Niko in particular) are awesome and really know what they re doing! The install was really complicated but they were so kind and helpful. If we ever need another install we ll definitely be back!
