Please dont go here. Michael Clay who is not a licensed claim adjuster is settling claims that he knows nothing about and his sister knows he doesnt has a license. My claim was settled for pennies without me knowing it.

Mike Clay tried to attack me because I wanted to see the paperwork before I signed it , then he fired me as a client because he was a big fat rude unprofessional insurance adjuster . I never spoke to my actua attorney until he tried to attack me. I would not recommend them to anybody or anything period.

I have read all of the different reviews on how wonderful Mike Clay is. I must have caught him on the wrong day because he was very rude and unprofessional towards me. I had my mother on the phone with me and she was appalled that he talked to me so rudely. They were not or would not help me with my case and I am thankful. DO NOT use this law firm!!!! It handles your cases well it says, but has no people skills!!!!

I have use this firm Sonyia Byrd Attorney At Law on several occasions and I also have recommended several people to use this firm. Michael Clay keeps his word, and everybody knows your word is your bond. He contacted me every week about the status of my case. Toward the end of my case, he called to tell me what the a Insurance had suggested and he stated, Do Not except this I could fight for more. I didn t hesitate, he end up getting me $1000 more then the Insurance had suggested. This is the kind of firm you need on your side.

BEWARE!! There is a representative of this firm, Mike, who is bad news for this firm, unprofessional, dishonest, arrogant. This firm STOLE a portion of my settlement they were NOT entitled to. If this firm wanted to do right by me they had every chance to. I met with Mike at the office on a Saturday, I got bad vibes based on the arrogance and street hustle talk and mentality but against everything within me I continued to speak with him based on the fact a true friend referred me to this firm. After meeting with him Saturday I contacted him Monday to inform him I would handle everything myself and no longer wanted their representation. He immediately STOPPED communicating with me and never acknowledged my communications moving forward. I was told this man has actually said he didnt care what people do, once they sign those papers because the firm was going to get their money. Needless to say once hearing this I was disappointed that I was even recommended to work with him or the firm he represents. Mike knows that his firm, Sonyia Byrd law firm, did zero for me, I actually paid every single expense out of my pocket but they claimed there were due money because I signed the paper. Instead of doing right by a member of the community, this place is ripping off the very community it claims to serve. This man, Mike represents this firm to the community and I have now heard of 2 other people with similar experiences. This is sad because I want very much for these businesses to thrive but not at the expense of others. Lesson learned, trust your gut even if a true friend recommends otherwise. Use a law firm other than this one should you find you need one. May God bless those taken advantage of by this establishment and may this establishment improve its service to our community.

The insurance adjuster Michael is unprofessional and doesnt know how to talk to you lets just he spoke rudely and unprofessional to my mother and when she left the office she was upset to the point she wanted to cry, she said to me that the insurance adjuster Michael made her feel that hes doing her a favor her words to me was that man dont know how to talk to people I just shut my mouth because I didnt want to say anything she then said to me never mind and my mother had a look on her face that really hurt me to know that this man would speak to his elder unprofessional and with sarcasm. This incident has made me really sad.
