I enjoyed a delicious mud pie ice cream from The Baked Bear. The creamy ice cream was balanced with the rich brownie, although the cookies were slightly less crisp than expected. The price point was a bit high. The store itself has a welcoming atmosphere, and I appreciated the ample seating.

The workers there are attentive. The cookie sandwiches are SO big! Can barely finish one myself, so the price to me is definitely worth it. I get the sandwich with a Nutella cookie, brownie and s mores icecream in the middle with hot fudge and hot caramel drizzled over and it is AMAZING. You can ask them to warm up the cookie and brownie if you want it more ooey gooey.

Wow, five stars all around. I walked in and was unfamiliar with how to order. The girl at the counter was SUPER helpful and walked me through the whole thing. I didn t catch her name but she made the best ice cream sandwich I ve ever had! I will definitely be coming back. The banana chocolate chunk cookies were phenomenal!

I think that baked Bear is a terrific place for a nice dessert. Very shareable if you dont want something very large. The food was so enjoyable and the taste was so good. I walked in and I kind of overwhelmed because their were 4 workers trying to see what I wanted. The atmosphere was so cute. I loved the decorations! Could have more seating options Kid-friendliness: I feel that when you want to spoil your kids for how awesome they are and the stress they go through, this is an fantastic yummy and kid friendly place to go.

The food was amazing, but definitely not better than the service! Mia and Lacy were so helpful (even though I was indecisive! LOL!) they helped me through the whole process and gave me great and honest recommendations on what goes good with what (which I really appreciated) and so sweet the entire time they really brought a refreshing atmosphere to all the moody teens working nowadays! I recently visited this ice cream shop and was very disappointed with the experience. The customer service was mediocre at best staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful. The quality of the cookies were poor; they were cold and stiff even after they offer to heat them up for you. For the prices they charge, I expected much better. I wont be returning and wouldnt recommend it to anyone looking for a good ice cream experience.

I asked a lot of questions about the ingredients because I am a Muslim and I cannot eat pork sourced additives. The stuff was really helpful. He brought the ice cream containers for me to see the ingredients. I chose the vegan option to be safe. Vegetarian options: Cookies are vegetarian but mono and diglyceryde ingredient can be animal sourced. That s why we ate vegan ice cream. Dietary restrictions: They have an allergy chart that includes almost all kinds of allergies.

Oh my, too bad zero stars is not an option. Brownie didnt look like the pic. It was very thin. Not a good value. One chocolate chip cookie had only 3 chips in it. The nutella cookies were covered in salt, thats all I could taste. The 3 smores cookies looked more like blobs. And they look like they were spit on. Im not saying that they were, but thats what they looked like. See the pics. Very disappointing.

Stopped in here for my birthday desert after having dinner at a nearby restaurant. What a pleasant surprise The Baked Bear was! Came highly recommended and it sure did not disappoint. Great vibe, and love the simplicity of what they serve. The portion sizes are huge so make sure you save room for desert if youre coming here. Plenty of options to choose from between cookies, brownies, ice cream, and toppings. I do love the fact that you can mix and match cookies for each side of your cookie sandwich. On this particular visit i had the funfetti cookies along with some good old fashioned vanilla ice cream-it was delicious and so filling. Service was good, and there are few spots to sit inside and outside. This is a must try if youre in Georgetown. Look forward to coming back and trying other ice cream and cookie combinations.

Apparently, all of their employees believe in wake and bake. Its the only thing that could explain the level of incompetence, rudeness, and complete lack of customer service we experienced tonight. We were first-time customers and will never step foot in the establishment again. We arrived at 8:50 with our 4 and 5 year old granddaughters. After spending 10 minutes in line to place an ice cream order, an employee states, we are closed, and our registers are down, so you may just want to leave. Excuse me, but did you really just say that???? You werent closed 10 minutes ago, when we arrived! How about offering to fill the girls order and let us pay cash? How about filling the girls order for free to service customers and create a positive experience? How about dont send two disappointed and confused little girls who waited patiently for ice cream away empty-handed? How about stop getting baked or close your business.

Good food but terrible customer service. I went in with my family..our order was taken by someone who couldn t be less interested to be there then because my ice cream was done first I paid a different gentleman for all 3 ice cream sandwiches including a tip even though the service was terrible. By the time my son who was last got his ice cream sandwich I m questioned by now a 3rd employee if that will be all .I said yes and that I paid the other employee for our deserts .he questioned the man who said oh yeah I think I charged them but forgot to hit charge so they had me run my card again. I got charged twice so then I go up to the counter and tell the employee the first charge was charged he goes I processed a refund .no apology and I wish I could have taken the tip back slow down and pay attention be nice to your customers even when you are busy and try not to accuse someone of not paying it wasn t a good ending to my Mother s Day.

A friend told me about this little hidden gem. They have about 9 types of cookies & 8 flavors of ice cream. You can create ice cream sandwiches or just have ice cream or just have cookies. They also have a cookie bowl that is warm & you can put ice cream on the warm cookie...like a pazookie. I will be going back for that one. I must say I thought it would be oversized cookies but they are not, they regular sized cookies with a large scoop of ice cream for around $8.

Must try dessert place!! They have amazing custom ice cream sandwiches with cookies, great ice cream flavors with toppings you can pick and choose. The space is a little small inside with a few table and chairs. They have outdoor seating as well and you can find parking anywhere outside on the streets. We stopped by on a Monday afternoon so it was pretty calm, chill music and the staff was really welcoming. Will definitely go back again!

Used to be my favorite dessert spot on the square, I even suggested it to customers that would come into our restaurant as I work on the square as a manager. But today I refuse to go back. I made an online order worth 56$ with tip! And they cancelled my order after I was already on the way, saying they could not fulfill it. I was already almost there so I decided to stop in and see how they could not fulfill my simple order of cookies which is all they serve. And they had plenty of the kind I wanted. Not to mention, when I came in the cashier who greeted me laughed after I walked out. Didn t even care to ask why I was there. Gross attitude . & They are not giving me my money back and holding it for 4 days. Ridiculous and not a way to do service. I will never suggest this place to anyone anymore, they have definitely lost a loyal customer & future ones. I will tell people to go to Galaxy now if they ask for a good desert on the square.

Insider tip they sell their day old cookies for $8 a dozen. You will want to buy the cookies by the dozen. The ice cream sandwiches are delicious, and huge. Thats why we like to go in and just get cookies. The Baked Bear has made me the hero of more than one potluck. The cookies are really the best, I can take or leave the ice cream. We went to Baked Bear for a treat because the website advertises gluten free and vegan options. When we arrived they told us they had no vegan ice cream in stock and that the gluten free/vegan cookies and brownies were not cooked yet. My daughter was very disappointed she could not get any ice cream. I could tell the staff felt bad because when they cookies and brownies were done cooking, they gave her one on the house. It would be helpful if the website accurately reflected what is available.

What a fun and yummy experience! We thoroughly enjoyed making our own custom ice-cream sandwiches! My goodness, this was a treat I needed! I love the concept, pick a bottom and top cookie (they can be different), then your ice cream, then your toppings. Don t forget to get it pressed because warmed up cookies are the best! I chose a Gooey Buuter cake and Nutella Chocolate Chunk cookie with Bear Batter ice cream and mini m&m s for topping. It was delicious and perfect for this insanely hot Austin summer days!

When I arrived with my daughter their cash register wasn t working and we waited 10 minutes just to order BUT it was well worth it. The cookies were soft and flavorful. We also got a cookie ice cream sandwich which to our surprise was warmed up in a press. We love desserts and this place didn t disappoint :)

The staff were extremely rude and couldnt hear a word that I was saying when a guy like me who deaf could hear perfectly. They wouldnt do a dozen cookies when they have it advertise on their menu for $18.49. If youre going to limit customer to 4 cookies at least put a sign for the customers so theyre inform on the situation. They got everything wrong on my family order. I typically have an amazing experience at this location but today wasnt it.

Custom Ice Cream Sandwiches! Id never heard of this concept, but you dont want to skip this treat. There are lots of options but the staff was great! You choose a bottom cookie, a top cookie, and ice cream to make your sandwich. There are several options for cookies and ice cream, and there are toppings also!
