Hit or miss. Ghetto or normal people. Quality of service very dependent on who is on shift. Some I luv, some marginal. Burgers good but huge price bump and buns and fries took a big dive. Sorry, was a great burger but no more. Grease fries and cheap buns replaced nice rolls. Certain bands will bring a nice mature crowd. Other times its, well you know...

I went this last Sunday with a few of my guy friends, loved the environment. There was a mistake with the order, but this was corrected quickly. The chef is new but doing great! I ordered a pint of Guinness here and the pour was pretty bad (rush pour, no wait). If youre a Guiness drinker definitely watch your pour here! However, the owner/manager was also very hospitable. Will return here again, had a great time!

Ive never been here before. Went on karaoke night and the dj was friendly. The place is clean and inviting. I bartenders were very polite and I never had to wait long for my drink. Definitely will be a new spot. For anyone looking for a place to go, give this place a try.

I have been a loyal customer for a month now and this week I was treated as a stranger. All because a bartenders (Brianna) (Bri) regular gave me extra attention and even offered to pay my tab. She took his $100 that was meant to pay both our tabs and kept the change but still after still tried to charge me for my tab after it being taken care of . My issue was after taking it up to management I was still asked to leave premises. So lack of good bar management and management Over all. More like just robbing ppl of their money.

Hidden among sprawling neighborhoods, this gem was a real surprise! Huge screens for games, couple of pool tables, digital dart boards, live music, and a good friendly neighborhood crowd. Food looked and smelled amazing. The place is huge!

Just left there.. horrible! Ordered a burger and our friends ordered chicken Quesadillas.. they got their food and 15 minutes later asked about our food and the waitress told us they burnt our burger and are remaking it... I watched the cooks just standing back they are not dont anything.. had to ask for another beer.. not very attentive. After 1 1/2 hour we cancelled our food and left!

Close to home and bartenders are the best....nice little cozy atmosphere....live music on weekends is a big plus....the food is also outstanding....try the wings...(this review is for June 18 of 2022... What I said 3 years ago still stands as I think that South Texas ice house is still a great place to go)... However the young hispanic girl who was bartending around 430 6/18/22 is not cut out to be a bartender... Didnt even say hi how can I help you or welcome or anything.... And then when I ask her if she was going to say something she actually got a little aggravated.... Brandy Yvonne and a lot of the other gals that have worked there or still work there are some of the best bartenders.... This girl is nowhere in their league and she needs to find another job or at least polish up her people skills...I will for sure go back but I will certainly request another bartender....if she is the only one I will come back some other time....you go to a bar for the drinks, the atmosphere, and the service....not for a bad attitude like hers....

Bartender on shift today 23 May (yvonne, dont know last name )needs training on how to treat customers who are not as young as she is.Said a couple of things I didnt appreciate.I also am at fault for saying something that I shouldnt have said.I apologized twice to her.Never got an apology for things she said to me.I have attended this bar for years,took a break for a few years and just started going back to visit.I know Christine well and she is a great bartender and person.Not trying to get Yvonne fired just dont feel comfortable spending my money here anymore.Thank you

We were at the bar on a very slow night. The bartender addressed us once. That was 10 minutes after we arrived. She spent the rest of the time on the phone talking about how slow they were, yet ignoring most customers. We wanted to tab out, even trying to get her attention for several minutes, but she spent that time constantly on her phone. Completely inattentive to her customers. As a former bartender myself, this is 100% unacceptable. Will not be back.

The pizza here was surprisingly great! With a side of jalapeños, red pepper flakes and parmesan cheese they couldnt go wrong. Only thing keeping from 5 stars was that one guy forcing the harsh heavy metal on the jukebox. The country music helped. Texas is in the name of the place. What was he thinking?
