Worst service I ve had at any restaurant, ever. My husband and I went out for date night, came in picked out our steaks, proceeded to our table. The server wasn t personable, didn t explain anything or offer information relevant to our meals. If I order filet medallions and I m unsure how I want it cooked, a server at a steak house should know what to suggest. I originally ordered my medallions medium, my husband ordered his medium well, he suggested I do the same I don t care for rare. So I took his suggestion. I asked for a baked potato, and for my second side I requested a salad that hadn t been sitting in a refrigerator on a cold plate, my teeth are sensitive to cold. Our server simply said oh well what else would you like instead? Nothing. I didn t want anything else other than a salad and a baked potato. Never did he ask if I wanted rice with my medallions but the plate came out full of rice with my medallions cooked well done. Excuse me if there were options I didn t ask about shouldn t the server have told me about them? Should I have to ask the correct questions to get good service? The guy was rude. Cleared my husbands plate when I had a full plate of food still in front of me . Etiquette, don t remove the man s plate till the woman is also finished eating. This may be more for formal dining but when there s only two people at the table the rule still applies. The steak ended up being way too tough I didn t finish but 1/5 of my plate. He asked if we were done, yes. To go box? No. For what? The steak I m already not eating? Never offered dessert. Never offered to rectify anything. I shouldn t have to ask. Who throws away steak? He just wanted us out of there. His tip reflected how we felt about the service. We may not be rich but we always tip very well, the guy screwed himself. We will never go back. I told my husband he can order his steak online he said nah, we ll just order elsewhere in the future. Good job rude guy with the creepy mustache. Ewww

This was my 3rd Texas Roadhouse experience and I will admit that I went an hour before closing which I will never do again. Huge difference in service and food quality. The server wasnt bad, but it just wasnt like the times before. We werent refilled with rolls like normally and the steaks where simply not good. They were so extremely chewy and ordered the same way I normally do. Drinks were never refilled and I actually left kind of hungry when I normally leave stuffed with leftovers. If youre thinking of getting some last minute Texas Roadhouse just dont and get it next time when they arent that close to closing.

I came yesterday Sunday 09/15/2024 for a late lunch (4pm). I booked a reservation online to avoid the waiting time. When I got there they had given me a table in front of the kitchen door. I know some people don t mind sitting there but I do. I hate the tables close to kitchen and bathroom. I asked to be changed and they said no. I placed my order for the Ribeye and Ribs combo this is my always favorite. When all the food came in it was terrible. I had the smallest Ribeye and Ribs ever. I had never in any of my visits gotten meat pieces that small. The Ribeye was not well cooked, the rice was so spicy my baby couldn t eat it, the French fries as I ordered extra where not crispy they needed more cooking time, the mushrooms where so greasy. I told the waiter about the rice and she said that has always been that way. And no, that is not true, my baby LOVES that rice and she couldn t even eat 1 spoon she said spicy and it was because I tried it. She didn t even eat the French fries and she loves them. So I am so disappointed and dissatisfied because not only the waiter had such a bad attitude and did not do anything to fix any of my food issues but she had a bad attitude as I was there asking for free food. I paid for all my food and we know it s not cheap. So I left the restaurant hungry and with a big check paid. terrible experience.

I arrived at this restaurant about 5:30 PM this afternoon, I am A legally blind female by the name of Karen, and I am African-American, it s unfortunately that I have to tell the story but I have to give my facts. I was dropped off at the front door by my Uber driver and I walked in with my assistant Kane in attempt to find the host booth, I was greeted by no one to assist me. Because of my site impairments, I walked further than the host booth and no one stopped me. A Caucasian guy came behind me and went directly to the host booth, and asked to be seated with a table of two, so it was from there that I was able to hear where the host booth was. So the lady saw me standing there before the Caucasian guy came up, but didn t offer any assistance. So I ll let it go because I feel like maybe she was unaware of what a blind and visually impaired individual looks like. So I told her I needed a table for four because I had some more blinded, visually impaired people that was meeting me there, and we will need to be seated. She asked me what my name was, I told her my name was Karen, so she said, did you say Carrie?, I told her no I said Karen, and then she said, did you say Kiara?, I told her no my name is Karen and I spelled it out for her. So I felt like she was trying to be racist by stating because I am African-American. My name cannot be Karen.. so she proceeded to ask me for my phone number so that she can be able to let me know when our table was ready, I gave her the phone number she told me it was going to be 25 minute weights, so I decided to find my way to the side out of the way, and another lady assisted me with finding a seat that was also waiting to be seated at a table, thank God for that lady. My friend and I waited over 40 minutes to be seated at this time, so my friend walked back up to the host booth and ask her when is our table going to be ready because it s been well over 25 minutes, and then the lady said oh yeah are you with Karen? OK come on let s go. Your table is ready, I never got a text message stating that my table was ready. . But after all that chaos, I was a very excited to have a very nice waiter who assisted me and my disabled friends very well, The food was awesome and very delicious and fresh. But the welcoming host booth was trash, and maybe that lady should be in the back washing dishes instead of greeting people. And as for that my experience there was downgraded unfortunately

Texas Roadhouse for the win! I popped in for a bite and a beverage; it was busy this evening! When we first arrived, there were few open seats (at the bar) as they were quite busy, but we were happy to wait our turn. We typically sit at the bar, and the service is good. However, when Jennifer is there, the service is (especially) great! We listened as Customer after Customer sat at the bar, and Jennifer remembered what they had previously requested for a beverage and asked, Is ______ what you would like? How nice is that (such a lost art!). She also places salt on top of the napkin, which IYKYK keeps the ice-cold frosty glass from sticking to the napkin (also a lost art!)!! We very much enjoyed the food, ice-cold beer, and general conversation with Customers at the bar as well as Jennifer. This should be delivered at all Roadhouse locations ... and she represents the brand well! The restaurant was buzzing with the sound of happy customers and running like a well-oiled machine. Ordered ahead for take out after a 17hr shift. No parking spots were available for the pick up so I walked up to let them know i was there and check on my order. I was immediately met with attitude and told to find a numbered parking spot and text them. I drive around the building several times and the same cars were sitting there for an extended time. So I ask the ladies what would they like me to do now and was met with more attitude.

August 2024 We visited this location often and we enjoyed the early bird special. The highlight of their offerings are the fresh bun and the house salad. We love the award winning ribs as well. As a restaurant owner myself I recommend their salad. Even though the ingredients are simple but the crispness of the lettuce and the cold temp lettuce is part of the reason. I believe the cheddar cheese is also freshly grated as part of the reason for a great salad. My rating as 5 is very satisfy. Taste 4/5 the sauce of my grilled chicken is on the salty side. Temp 4/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Speed of service 5/5. Attentiveness 5/5. Will I recommend? Yes. Will I return ? Most likely.

This most excellent steak house is a lot of fun. Super welcoming staff and very attentive to customers. You get to pick your own steak when you walk in the door. They even put your name on it. And as a professional taste tester of beef, this place is now ranking my favorite for simply knowing how to properly cook a steak to your desired temperature. Excellent chefs. Very happy I tried this restaurant. The sides are delicious, too. And so much fun to get a sweet potato with roasted marshmallows!

If I could I would have given them an extra star. I loved everything about this restaurant. The rustic interior, cheerful and friendly staff, wonderfully cooked meal, everything. Right after you enter the restaurant you will have choices to pick your piece of meat to choose from their freshly cut steak pieces. Once you are seated the friendly staff will suggest you about the specialties. My husband wanted to order something and our server suggested that he should pick something else. And he didnt regret his order. It was a sirloin steak with two sides. I ordered for beef tips, which I couldnt finish and had to pack it home. It was so delicious. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is fully accessible . Starting from the parking, the entrance, the seatings and the restrooms, everything was accessible . There are some areas where the floor is a little raised. To access those areas they made nice ramps for the wheelchair access. How thoughtful of them.

Being a regular to Texas Roadhouse, been to this branch in Garland for the first time for a family birthday dinner. Surprised to see their service is sub-par compared to other branches. Their welcome team and table assignment prep team were great. Couldnt ask for more. People who were helping us were rushing and didnt give us time to decide our order. Had better food at other branches. When asked if they can do a birthday wish, the one waited on us was like eh.. its nothing much. Are you sure you wanna do a saddle ride?? What a way to promote! :| Always been a Texas roadhouse fan. But wont return to this place. Food is descent as usual.. but i may pick a different branch next time.

Texas Roadhouse is always pretty solid if youre hungry for their menu. I did land a ribeye, instead of the NY strip I ordered, but enjoyed the hell out of it, regardless. Im also a big fan of their green beans Kid-friendliness: We had a young man with severe allergies with us. The waiter endured all of our requests to dodge dairy products (including butter ), sesame and some others. By the time our food came out, his burger was wrapped in Texas toast. To whomever designed the booths, the whole world is not 5 feet tall and 100 pounds. That is the only size of person who could fit comfortably in the booths that are so close to the tables. Everyone elses upper body rubs the table and even hangs over the table as they are trying to eat. Furthermore the booths are so long that it takes a gymnast to slide all the way in to seat 3 on a bench. This is certainly not ADA compliant and difficult and embarrassing for seniors. My luncheon group and I have been there three times recently, each time hoping for one of the two tables, but were put in a booth even when asking for the table. The food is good but mot so good as to be tortured in yhose booths. Goodbye from me. Wheelchair accessibility: Very crowded, the booths are impossible to get in and out of, the aisles are narrow, I dont see how a wheel chair could maneuver at all.

We had dinner here tonight, Tuesday, around 8p. I forgot to add us to the waitlist, but with a party of two we were able to get a table right away, even though they were very busy and there were several larger parties waiting. There was no bread ready, so we were seated and the bread then showed up almost immediately, with an extra cinnamon butter, warm and delicious as always. We skipped the appetizers and went ahead and ordered our food. We both had the 20 oz bone-in ribeye medium rare. I normally would just order the 12oz ribeye medium rare but it s been over cooked the last 5 times we ve been there. This time, I ordered what my partner ordered and it actually came out as ordered!! I just couldn t finish it because it was so much bigger. I had the cesar salad and he had the house salad with Italian dressing. I love their cesar salad, it s perfectly balanced with the dressing and croutons and cheese. He had his steak smothered with mushrooms and onions and a side on green beans, I had a side of sweet potato loaded with the toppings on the side. All the food was good tonight. Our server didn t really seem interested in us, which is the main reason for the 4. It was like we could ve been there if not, I get people have bad days but if you re barely gonna interact with us at least try to smile and use complete sentences I also really miss the dea fault everyone gets peanuts. Overall, a tasty dinner! Parking: They have a large dedicated parking lot to themselves, however, it does fill up during dinner time and on the weekends making it somewhat difficult to find a spot. I recommend joining the waiting list and arriving early if you plan to eat during traditional dinner hours.

Friday dinner, early because otherwise you cant get in. Very good waitstaff. Food was delicious. Not sure why this location doesnt open until 4pm but it is always packed from open to close. Parking: Restaurant is always packed and the parking lot is usually full.

I haven t been to Texas Roadhouse in a while, but this one was nice. The wait time was typical for a weekend night, around 30-40 mins. I chose a NY Strip steak. I should ve gotten it well done, but eh, customers Error. Guillermo was my waiter and he was very attentive and quick. The food was alright, but he made up for it.

Mary the manager was incredible. She was so capable and kind and I think she enjoys her job. Our waiter Maloub was incredibly helpful and kept our drinks topped off the food was excellent and I dont think theres anyone there that doesnt care about their job. The food was incredibly good I dont think Ive eaten a better steak that I hadnt cooked myself.

Lets face it, Texas Roadhouse isnt mind blowing... but its good and damn consistent! Always have good service at the bar. One of my favorite places to get a cold beer on tap and a good ribye cooked how I like it.

I have to update this older review. The last 2 times I have been there, the quality of the meats has dropped considerably. SATURDAY 6/15 - my wife ordered a filet and my son and I ordered ribeyes. We specifically asked that the 2 ribeye chosen werent 50% fat. Well they were and I understand Ribeye has a good amount of marbled fat but this was hard grissle type fat that would never breakdown during cooking. I also ordered a side of Ribs that the waiter forgot about and then didnt come until we were all done. When they did arrive, they looked badly overcooked. My son tried one and it was so dry, it was like shoe leather. We sent the rib back and yes they took them off our ticket but the whole experience was ruined. We wont be going back! ************************************* Good, fast, and friendly atmosphere.

We did the signup in advance, waited an hour, got texted to come on in, walked in and got told our table was given away. So now we had to wait another 15-20 min. What s the point? They should start reservations. It s like the Southwest Airlines of steak houses. Parking: Maybe park at ATI

We did takeout. Everything was great, including the blooming onion. I wondered how well that would hold up but it was still warm and good by the time we ate it. (You need to be fairly close to the restaurant though.) We got roadkill which is our favorite. Baked potato was great. I wish the sweet potato wasnt so overcooked, but they always are. Probably hard to hold them without overcooking. All employees are so friendly. We come here a lot for takeout and are never disappointed.

The food is delicious! The staff is always so nice! Dietary restrictions: I have food allergies. Sometimes, they are able to leave out what Im allergic to or tell me which foods contain what Im allergic to that they cannot remove. Kid-friendliness: I have taken children there before. They have kids meals and the staff is good with children.

Our party of 7 was never seated. Arrived at the location and joined the wait-list at 1:54. Was told itd be 15-25 minute wait. After waiting for 40 minute and not being seated, we went to the hostess for an update on the wait. She told us we had the next table. Another 10-15 minutes passed and still no table. So we went to the hostess yet again for another update. She then told us again that we would get the next table but it would be another 10-20 minutes. Meanwhile up to this point, weve seen several larger parties arrive after us and were all seated before us. So we decided to just leave and it wasnt until we were in the car did we get a text saying our table was ready.

Food and service was good but the only reason its not getting 5 stars is because after we left someone from the restaurant called us and asked about how many of the loaded options we got on all sides ordered. As in loaded mash vs just plain mash. Apparently our server had rang up several loaded options and only one of us actually got it. At least thats what the story sounded like from the person who called us. I didnt get a receipt so I didnt know for sure. I still dont know if the server ripped us off by charging a few extra fees for the loaded option, they were having a contest to see how many they could get amongst the servers, and I wasnt too worried about the few bucks if it did happen. Hopefully it was just a misunderstanding but if I ever were to find out that the server over charged us on purpose to try and win a contest then Id be pretty upset about it. Other than that weird ending to the evening, I was happy with everything. Server did a good job taking care of us during the dinner.
