Great food! Felt like I was back in Mexico! My lingua (spelling?) was fresh which is hard to find! The Horchata was almost good as home made Horchata my friend used to make but its the top for restaurants for me!love the feedback from the owner with every review.. even the negative ones (which i dont understand cuz my visits are always the best). Only issue i have is, please close later! i try to come when I get off work but sometimes its after 1am.. Im happy this place opened down the street from my house!

Ok the food is good but pricey! Each taco is 2.somthing...thats expensive for a street taco. a torta was 12 bucks. for 4 people it was 69 dollars including drinks. ..and its crowded on the weekends. If you dont like crowds or loudness this place is not for you. Parking sucks

Terrible service, we arrived with 25 minutes left to close and we still hadnt placed our order and the first thing they told us was that they were going to close so if we wanted it to go and I understand that they close at 11 at night we only ordered 5 tacos which in case Whats more, they were cold and when I asked for lemon they told me they couldnt give me because they were going to save them. Literally, as soon as they gave us the cold tacos and denied us the lemons, they raised the benches of all the tables, including ours. I understand that they want to go home to rest but there were still 25 minutes left to close and there were only 5 tacos, not to mention how uncomfortable it was to have to eat in a hurry and surrounded by benches

I would give 4.5 stars if I could. My family & I love La Salsa Verde. The tacos are always on point. We usually get asada and lengua tacos with grilled onions and jalapenos. So tasty! If you want a refreshing and delicious drink, the cantaloupe juice is soooooooo tasty! I wouldnt give 5 stars bc the service isnt always top notch, but it is most of the time :)

Since I tried these tacos they were my favorites.. I dont know whats going on but they have lowered the quality of the food. We ordered buche tacos (the parboiled buche with a not passable flavor) golden tripita tacos and it wasnt golden, it was very watery, no crunch at all. My husband gave it 5 out of 10.. and the pastor tasteless... my birria tacos, one super good, well browned and the other taco overheated and watery.. I know my comment wont make a difference but I come from Dallas to eat with my husband every chance I get and today the food was very disappointing... The staffs service was excellent and the atmosphere is still very good but I dont know if we will return...

We had high hopes for Salsa Verde but unfortunately we were disappointed. The Service was outstanding but food was not the same to other Salsa Verdes we have visited. We ate tacos. The morsilla had an anise type sweetness that my wife did not enjoy. For dessert we order the flan but it taste more like a wet cake and not the gelatin consistency. The flavors did not taste authentic to our Mexican cuisine we are familiar with.

This place has ONE job, make tacos, at least that s what I was told in the drive through. I drove past this place on my way to an event, it looked packed, so on my way back I stopped to order tacos, 4 Asada, 8 Carnitas .SIMPLE. Not only was the entire order wrong! But I was SHORT two tacos! First impressions on this place inexcusable to say the least. Not that it matters much to this place I am sure but I won t be coming back.

My family and I visited this place for the first time today, I won t be back and I don t recommend it. Our food was served COLD. I had been wanting to try this place for a couple of years now, & I was disappointed unfortunately it wasn t that good, except their aguas frescas, those were good. Although, I was impressed by the VARIETY of food options, the quality wasn t the best. We ordered tacos de cabeza, tacos de tripitas & tacos de fajitas- all of them were COLD!!! Ohh and on the outside of the establishment they advertised tacos de cabeza, which we requested- but the cashier said they didn t sell tacos de cabeza, that what they call tacos de cabeza was actually mazisa-(???) So we ordered tacos de cabeza anyway- to try m out, it wasn t anything like what we know as cabeza . We visited on a Friday evening & the place was quite busy, so I was really taken aback when our food arrived cold, I thought that it would be fresh and at least warm! Also the staff had a hard time keeping up with cleanliness. I think perhaps with better management they might be able to up their game Unfortunately, for me the experience here was disappointing, kinda like hitting a big o freak n cool piñata, only to find it is empty

They reheat the meat and mush it up in oil , used to love coming here but the very last time and final time I went they served me a bad plate of tacos all reheated meat to the point it smelled like burnt spoiled meat . I would think twice about eating at this exact location the cooks are not doing a great job. I frequented the Carrollton location and was ecstatic they opened a location in Garland. The food is always fresh & delicious. The salsas are amazing as well. The employees and managers have great integrity. I lost my wallet on 7/21/22 and and was unsure where I could have lost it. As I retraced my steps, I called the restaurant on 7/22/24 to ask if it was possible I left it behind. I was extremely happy to hear that that an employee found it and turned it to the Manager. I picked up my wallet later that day. I am very thankful for the Employees and Managers at this location and I will continue to visit for years to come. - EB

The tacos were good. The tortilla is small, and the serving of the tacos was smaller. I had 3 tacos. One was chicharron, the other nopales and the third one tripitas. Serving was so small in the I was surprise d because the pics online by other clients show regular( normal ) serving. I like the manager was nice and profesional. The place is cealn amd fresh. The worst service you can receive, I have never had a problem, I think that the customer always has to be right and for them it is not right. I literally went to pick up food through the drive thru that I ordered over the phone and they told me I had to get out to grab my food. Where do I begin? After waiting 23 minutes (yes not an exaggeration) for food we ordered at the counter, we finally went up to one of the ladies working the food tickets and asked about our food as we saw plenty of others after us getting their food. She went to the kitchen area and looked like she couldn t find our ticket. Finally she came back around and asked what we had ordered and we showed her our ticket. She said oh they are starting to prepare it just wait . We told her we had been waiting almost 30 minutes already! Of course she didn t care, and said it was coming out. We continued to wait, until the 30 minute mark hit, we couldn t take it anymore and found the manager and it just so happened that the food was finally done. The lady brings the food with a bunch of flies on it that had been flying around from inside the restaurant. We told the manager there was no way that after waiting that long that they bring us food with flies on it, it was almost comical. We asked for a refund because it was ridiculous at this point and the manager still tried to charge us for the drinks. He said you drank it already and I told him that it was the least they owed us for having waiting a little over 30 minutes at this point. He refunded begrudgingly and gave us a refund receipt with no apology or nothing. Terrible experience, terrible customer service, and now I ll never give this place another try again.

The food is very tasty, but the service leaves a lot to be desired, it takes forever to have your tacos ready, and sometimes the orders are brought to you in parts, so they are not enjoyable.

The EXTRA golden tripe tacos were more burnt than golden. The beer very hot. The place seems to have no central climate, only fans. The waitresses move so quickly that if you ask them for something extra they never bring it. I dont recommend this place. I think there are better taquerias in the area.

Love this place! We came in from Houston to visit family and were introduced to this restaurant! I ordered the Lengua tacos. They were so tender and perfectly cooked. The device tostada was really good as well! It was so good...I forgot to take pics..but thats my excuse to go back again!! 10/10 Recommend!!

love this place. In fact for a whole year ive stopped here damn near every single morning. I get the same order. I was diagnosed with celiac in October 2023. My options in the morning if I want to stop for some food are VERY VERY limited. I can eat here with no worries of contamination to Gluten and its right around the corner from my office. Every time I go the lady whos always at the window makes my morning. She is so kind and beautiful. I did get upset when someone else was working the window one day, not to long ago. That lady wasnt any good. So I swore off eating here ever again. Lol that lasted a whole week and I was back. The tacos are just so dang good!!!!
