I hired these lawyers and gave them all my information and court date. They didnt show up. I had to call them because I received a letter from the municipal court that nobody showed up and had 10 days to appeal the decision, which they did. The second mistake they made was they tried to send me to the wrong courthouse, Frank Crowley Courts Building, when my trial was in the Municipal Court. Then a lawyer from there called me and said that the court tried to negotiate with me and dismiss one ticket and pay for the other one and I wouldnt have to go to trial if I accepted, and he kept insisting that my trial was on Friday 08/09 when it was actually on Thursday 08/08. I wouldve missed my trial if I listened to him. Then, they insisted on me accepting the courts offer, but I insisted and made them go to trial because thats why I hired them, to dismiss both my tickets and expunge from my record, which they had initially agreed to. Now I showed up to court and got my two tickets dismissed which I was innocent of from the beginning. A few days later they sent me an email, saying that if someone were to dig my record they would still show up unless they were expunged. So I called the Lawyer Megan and she said I had to pay around $800 more to have that expunction, which I had initially already paid and hired them for, I just cant believe I went through all this.

At first I was trying to fight a speeding ticket after rushing to the ER when I was in a car accident, another officer gave me a speeding ticket on my way there. The belts got my case on deferred disposition. But here is the insanely good part about this lawfirm because they saved my life; I called the attorney of the belts law to ask him to motion for a new trial because I wanted to fight ticket, The lawyer did exactly what I could only hope for he motioned for a new trial and had the prosecutor completely dismiss my charge/charges. They literally did not make anything happen on my citation that I could not have done myself. A complete waste of my money. The citation was for expired registration on a vehicle that did not belong to me, the owner was present at the time of the citation, to further insult to injury a few weeks after the citation the vehicle was reported stolen. Compliance capabilities out the window. I figured I had a few affirmative defenses as to why this citation should ve been thrown out, instead I got a deduction of $100 from a $340 ticket. That s the $100 that I paid to retain this law firm in the first place. If anyone knows how citations work, you appear, they ask you how to plead, you speak with the prosecutor OR judge (both) and typically you can request deferred adjudication. So all in all, I started with a $340 citation in warrant status, I could ve appeared and paid $340 to the court while requesting deferred adjudication. When I completed my intake with this firm I explained my situation, why I needed it taken care of urgently, and why I believed the case should be severely negotiated or thrown out given all the details. I did this again via the client message portal a few days before the appearance date. Again, I m disappointed. I expected better, and I do know what I should expect. Edit: I m a police officer hence why I retained a law office to take care of this warrant status citation to begin with. They had one job and didn t do a good one.

I would highly recommend contacting this law firm if you need help in this area. Even though I was not able to retain their services in this particular scenario we are experiencing, I would still not hesitate to tell anyone to reach out to them as soon as you need help with your driver license, tickets, or traffic-related issues. I called this morning AS SOON AS they opened and the woman who answered the phone was extremely patient (b/c I had over a million questions LOL). She was VERY knowledagable. Even after determining they could not represent me in this situation, she STILL stay on the call over 10 minutes trying to research information for me, giving me information and insight that I never had and explaining everything thoroughly, she offered suggestions and different avenues of potential resolution, and was genuinely caring and empathic of my situation. Beltz Law Firm Did an OUTSTANDING Job on my case, and I will be eternally grateful. I was an alleged 107 in a 70, chances of getting out of the ticket were slim to none, backed into a corner and told I would probably have to go to pre-trial unless the attorney I had (Attorney Raj) was able to pull off something before the pre-trial date. I Had Attorney Raj and I have to say he was one of the nicest people Ive ever had the pleasure of speaking with. Just as I had given up on the case Attorney Raj had gotten the ticket differed and I now have a clean driving record again. Im so grateful for his relentless help, I had spoken with him on the phone about 3 or 4 times and he was unbelievably kind and confident that he could work something out and somehow he did. The judge I was assigned was notorious for never giving differed on speeding tickets of my speed yet Attorney Raj managed to get it off my record anyways. This was the best experience I ve ever had with any lawyer! I got charged with a class c misdemeanor, it was a citation. The first lawyer I called quoted me 5000 DOLLARS!!! I called this law firm last, spoke with the attorney and he said he could get it dismissed the first court date and only quoted me 500 dollars. I was relieved!!! Not trying to scam me, being honest, he was transparent and said it might get reset but it was the best news I d heard all day. I recently went to court a day ago, and it was dismissed!!! It only took 30 minutes in the courtroom. Complete scam!! Hired this company to dismiss a ticket I received. They were great on persuading me how effective they are. After I paid them their fees I never heard back. After months of not hearing back, I got worried and began calling them to ask for any follow up. It was always a different story. Finally YEARS later. First they tell me $100 to negotiate a speeding ticket. If the court doesnt offer a deal, then its another $250 to show up to court, and hope the officer doesnt appear so you can get it dismissed. After I told them I already tried to get a plea deal myself and the court refused. I expected them to tell me $250 to appear in court but they wanted $350 just to show up in court and NOT fight a speeding ticket. If the court doesnt want offer a plea deal. Then it will be an ADDITIONAL $750 just to prepare and fight a speeding ticket trial that maybe would take 15min. Just lookin to squeeze money and could care less if they win or lose.

Hired Beltz for a Failure to pay a toll . I opted to pay the toll myself and trusted the lawyer to handle the ticket. My goal was to keep the ticket off my driving record. They failed to successfully so this. Instead my ticket was reduced from $216.00 to $82.00 plus an $8 processing fee. Ultimately I paid the law office $150.00 for their services and paid $88.00 for the ticket itself. This means it cost me $22 more to use them than it would have cost me to just pay the ticket straight out. I mean, I should ve just paid the ticket without their involvement if they weren t going to be able to keep it off my driving record. I literally paid them for nothing. I ve used other ticket lawyers in the past and all of them were able to successfully keep the tickets off my driving record. Would not recommend.

I dont know how to add new comments to below reply so I added it up here. I need to emphasize two things. Firstly, as I told the lawyer this was my first time to hire a lawyer to defend for my case, and I was a bit anxious about this, so when the case was failed to be dismissed, shouldnt I received a warm phone call to let me know the result and a guidance about what should I do next? But just a notice remind me to review the ice cold scan copy of the court document from your system? Another thing, I did not see you use any strategies to help with defending the cases. Come on, we all know how we can win the case, so I see lawyers will apply to extend the court day to some specific day that lawyers have the best chance to win but I did not you do that. Just to collect enough cases and go to court all at once directly did not help. If I remember something wrong in my previous comment, I would say sorry. I do not want to continue this war of words, you are lawyers, attorneys, you spent your life to read and write, I am not as good as you. BUT, if you have your time to write this long long review reply, please, instead, take this time to make phone calls to help people who need you. They handled a case of mine on August 2019. I was charged for not completely stop when making a right turn at red light, actually, that was a yellow light, but that was the end of the month, so you know. I hired Beltz for this case. They told me they will take care of it and I payed them about $140, if I dont remember wrong. Well, after that, the case was not dismissed, no further communications, no nothing, just an email sent to me with the notice of case finalized. I had to pay to the court $204 and do 90 days deferred driving. Pay Attention here! I was supposed to go to the police office to take a so called red light class but I was not informed, until I received a subpoena from the court saying that I missed the deadline of taking the class. So I need to go to the court and I got a second chance after I talked to the Judge. I told the judge that I was not informed about the class so I missed the deadline, the Judge said that was my lawyers problem. This was exactly what the judge said. So, at least for my case, this law firm was not responsible at all. I am cleaning up my computer today and saw my case notice again, it reminds me of this story, so I decided to come back and write this down. The purpose of this review is to remind people that even you hired an attorney, still communicate with them, their google review star sometimes does not exactly reflect their real class.

I retained the services of this Law Firm several years ago, when passing by a city called Garland. I was ticketed for speeding, and for driving with an out of state DL. Yes folks, my DL and my car are from out of state, because I do not live in Texas. Apparently the Officer liked my car better and saw an easier prey in me for being out of state than the white truck that sped next to me uphill in a traffic trap on Lavon heading towards First St. He probably assumed I would not have the time to contest the citation in court, and he was right. I nevertheless went to the Garland Municipal Court the following day, where a clerk could not understand that my DL was legal in Texas. I even asked him if he expected me to obtain a DL from every state I crossed to get to Texas and obtain a Texas DL while there? It was a complete waste of time, because I got nowhere. After interviewing several attorneys, I decided to retain The Beltz Law Firm, and I am glad I did, because it was hassle free, quick, easy, and very affordable. An attorney contacted me on his day off, spoke to me for about 10 to 15 minutes, and assured me that he would successfully have the out of state DL citation dismissed and the speeding ticket adjudicated. Exchange of pertinent documents was made through their online Case portal, which kept you up to date on the status of your case, and sure enough he delivered 100% on what he promised on the day of my hearing. It was money well spent, since there wasnt a need for me to appear in court, or even a follow up with a phone call to find out the outcome, since I was notified via email of the disposition. a normal traffic stop ticket turn into a warrant for my arrest and a big fine i had to pay thanks to this law firm. They didnt help me at all with understanding the process once it turned into warrant status, instead told me I was made aware (when i wasnt) and was told theres nothing they can do. I had to go fight it in court by myself which is what i wanted to avoid by hiring an attorney in the first place. I would not go with them.

Basically paid $90 for something I could have done for myself. To be fair they did say in the paperwork that I read (after I paid). They would only do the bare minimum as far as fighting the ticket. For those who havent had a ticket before. The first go around is the courts wasting your time by bringing you in. They want to know how you want to plea as in no contest, court date, DD, DA. This was the end of the line for Beltz also. They did nothing to try and fight this and they can. So save your money and either go to some other lawyer or go up to the court house yourself.

I got 2 tickets for no insurance and registration. They managed to lower the fine on both citations and most importantly they were able to remove the incidents off my record. Pretty straight forward working with them and I love the fact that they create a profile for you online where you can log in and check for updates or submit any paperwork or signatures. After contacting the firm to handle two of my husbands traffic tickets. I feel completely robed. I got a speeding ticket. I didnt want to pay the ticket because I didnt want my insurance to go up so I hired a lawyer. I paid the retainer fee and they said they would take care of it. The judge or court didnt dismiss the ticket so I took it to trial. A week before I was supposed to be in court Beltz law firm told me my trial got rescheduled so I shouldnt show up. I got a pretty hefty speeding ticket and called around to a couple different lawyers before I found The Beltz Law Firm. Thank goodness I found them because their fee was a quarter of what I was quoted by another law firm. They ve been super responsive and there to answer all my silly questions. I had $200 parking ticket for parking in a spot that was NOT marked as unparkable. I submitted photos of it NOT being marked to Beltz representative, George, along with some errors the cop made writing my ticket (like the year of my car). I requested that Beltz Law fight this as I was clearly NOT GUILTY. I asked to speak to Mr. Beltz about it, but George swore he d pass along the message. Instead, on my paperwork, George wrote the goal as being Attorney to get the best deal , which is definitely NOT what I told him in the call. Beltz must have outsourced handling this ticket without passing along my photos proving my innocence, because Beltz isn t the one who signed the plea agreement at the courthouse where someone claimed NO CONTEST (which is basically the same as guilty to the courts). The courts gave me 30 days to pay this plea agreement, but Beltz didn t upload the paperwork and email me about it until 3 days before it was due. I called in to Beltz office several times, holding over an hour before giving up. I also emailed them about this whole thing, and received no response... Of course, having no answers about the validity of the plea, and if it could be undone, I didn t pay it in time. The courts then gave me a court date where they required that I show up to court, but Beltz never notified me. Due to my not showing up, they turned me in to a collection agency, sent me a Failure to Appear letter, and cancelled my plea agreement and my deferred adjudication which was set up by Beltz. BUT I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED TO SHOW UP IN COURT Over a month later, I emailed Beltz again, and they said nothing could be changed, and in order to discuss it I will need to CALL them to talk about it (which we have already established is impossible to get through unless you call at 8am, or claim to be a new client). I did finally claim to be a new client, and left a message with the paralegal who answered. Finally, Josh called me to discuss things. He tried to explain and apologize, and even advocated to Mr. Beltz that he return my money, but Beltz refused. Kudos for having a guy like Josh to try to do damage control, but no matter what, this was malpractice. He didnt notify me of payment required in time to pay my fee, didn t notify me of the resulting court date they set, didn t communicate with me when I tried to reach them, and didnt make the claims I requested in court. I said NOT GUILTY and provided photo proof! Beltz will not take responsibility for his malpractice. Run He will get you into trouble with the courts, and you wont even know it, just like what happened to me DO NOT HIRE BELTZ EDIT: Everyone, please take note. The attorney will fight YOU, and not FOR YOU, as evident by his response. They wont communicate anything with you after collecting $$, not even on the information portal. Theyll forget your case, thereby getting you in trouble with the law or getting you more fees which you dont know about until you find them listed on your credit report. Hopefully a credit collector will get the info and inform you before it does too much damage to your credit though. Also, hopefully the court calls you and tells you of your obligations before they pin you with something random that lands you in jail. I appreciate that Mr. Beltz acknowledges that his reps mistakenly represented him in telling me theyd send a not guilty plea. Id rather have had them tell me up front, so I didnt have to waste time finding and sending the lawyer photos in support of my not guilty plea. Because of that, its not so outrageous to think a quick 15 minute addressing of the courts would be possible at the fee he quoted. (Im not a lawyer, so I dont know whats typical until his representatives tell me.) Sadly, Mr Beltz himself has never called and apologized, so who knows if this actually matters to him other than this review (& the many other bad reviews) hurting his pocketbook. I honestly dont care to reduce his income. I just dont want anyone getting in legal trouble or hurting their credit over his incompetence.

Unfortunately I. An not recommend this firm. I hired to represent me on an NTTA case and they did negotiate with the NTTA on my behalf. However they did not make me aware of court fines, which are separate, and due dates. When I got a letter from the court directly, I tried contacting the firm directly though my online case file which was still active. No response. Then I tried calling, the first time I was let on hold for over 22 minutes then sent to a voicemail. Tried calling several other times but could never speak to a live person. I ended up working with the court directly which is probably what I should have done in the first place. I was told that hiring an attorney would get me a better deal than I wouldve gotten on my own. Well a $200 attorney fee + $188 ticket bought me nothing for my trouble. The other offense, invalid license was easily remedied and I found out later, the prosecutor would have dismissed that as I complied with a corrected license. The back of the speeding ticket read $188 so I was hoping for my trouble and money that Beltz would get that reduced. No such luck. IF you have a speeding ticket, no insurance, invalid license, dont get an attorney. Talk to the prosecutor yourself and see what you can get. They will most likely dismiss license and insurance issues if you fix those issues beforehand. As far as a speeding ticket, see if you can get deferred adjudication. You dont need an attorney for any of that. If you have a DUI, arrest warrant, maybe. But even then, if you must dont hire THIS PARTICULAR FIRM. They will take yourf money and not likely do anything you cant do yourself. If you gave 5 stars you probably didnt know this beforehand, youre rating them before your outcome, or youre flat out lying. Response: Yes, you can get license and no insurance tickets dismissed without representation. You have a racket to protect, I understand that. So say what you want. But don t tell me I dug a hole and made a good decision hiring you for something I could have done myself. I m trying to save people the trouble of wasting money like I did. There s no incentive or reason for the court to reduce a ticket just because you are represented . Like you always seem to say, you re not magicians. I have access to the rules of law same as you. And if I had taken advantage of that I wouldn t have hired you. And for the record I WAS rolling around with valid insurance. My tickets weren t even for that! I got a citation while I was on a business trip in Plano area. I m from CA and I m not familiar with the road situation. After I got citation, which is my first citation in life, I was so scared. And I have to head back to CA in a few days so I don t know what to do. So I googled online and I found Beltz Law Firm online. They re really professional and responsive! I don t have to appear in the court, which saves me tons of money. Come to this point, people may ask how can that save your money. Please bear with me and let me showcasthe calculation. Let s assume my hourly rate is 60/hour and the money to take driving course is averagely around $50 online for a 8 hours if I were smart. That s 480+50=530. It turns out to be a great investment since I only need to pay 75+whatever I owe to the court. Now I save my driving record and in the long run that can range from 500 to 1000. This is a mistake I accidentally made which I don t want to waste too much time to expand on that. Also the city of Plano must be in need of money for the broken roads. Please use that money to fix the damn broken road. People can die and you will get sued.
