This was a food truck in front of scoops and buns. And the tacos were the bomb . Its like they marinated the chicken 12 or to 24 hours and some sauce that they made from scratch it was sold the bomb I loved it. Parking: Theres parking alongside the building but you can park next door to the actual building next to it

Ive been a number of times with a friend that lives close to the Scoop N Buns; its a great place to relax, chill or even having a meeting with people. NOW ANNOTATED to make things easier for you to understand dingy, Roach on display. They re selling the same cinnamon roll muffin sam s sells for 6$ each when you can get 8 at sam s for 8$. - ^the author is disgruntled over a recent visit. they claim to have seen a roach. furthermore they voice their concerns of having been overcharged for a premade dessert. - updating to say the owners are horrible greedy people. also capitalizing off of frida when it s common knowledge that she was a communist is weird ^author revises text with new sentiments previously not noted, their anger over the cinnamon roll has caused the author to call the shop owners greedy. the author notes in addition to the cinnamon roll fiasco that capitalizing off of the late artist frida is strange due to fridas former involvement in the communist party. communism was the opposite of capitalism. profiting off fridas likeness to sell coffee crosses the artists morals - 8/10/24 the owners went out of their way to upload a photo of my review to their hundreds of followers. they were appalled that i had the gall to critique their business, one of which i thought was being run by adults. guess not they twist my words and made it seem like i was hating or bashing frida. on the contrary , i was simply reminding everyone of fridas morals, she was a member of the communist party, she would ve hated shops that profit off her likeness. if you re still confused look up communist vs capitalist beliefs. it s embarrassing of a business to call out someone s review. in this passage the author brings new information to the take. that the business owners have placed the review in the spotlight as a means to shame the author for his opinions. the author voices their frustration with the owners actions and restates their concerns about having a frida themed business and advises the owners to research - 8/11/24 i m not reading all of that , happy for you tho.. or sorry that happened. greedy may have not been the best word perhaps narcissistic? petty? childish? bullies? i did read the dma tidbit ,ill have the same energy for the dma if they CHARGE to view fridas work. likewise i still hold the same critique over these children. a handful of good deeds don t make you a good person, actions speak louder than words and this back n fourth is unbecoming of business owners mind you it all started because i saw a roach on the display. that and the same members mark muffins at sam s club later on that day. down to the same paper wrapper. they claim they never sold any but scroll enough on their tagged photos and you ll see them. one last thing my account is not new. maybe a first time reviewer , but i used the same damn email to log into neopets back in the day. no more zoya and geraldo. learn how to take criticism. encouraging your audience to show my review to receive free product is telling of your true nature. i don t mind being publicly shamed when the real embarrassment falls on you.

Scoops n Buns is a nice & clean establishment. Service has always been impeccable. Do yourself a favor and get the donuts. Ice cream is amazing. We live 30+ mins away & will make that drive on a drop of a dime. Owners are the sweetest and really put in a lot work to provide a beautiful space.

Wow! This place is an absolute gem! I recently tried their churro paired with Texas praline ice cream, and it was a match made in heaven! The warm, crispy churro complemented the rich, creamy ice cream perfectly. It was so good that my only regret was having to enjoy it in the car due to my allergy to fabulous, and the smell was overwhelming. While I will not be entering the building again I am sure my husband will pick up for us.

Absolutely outstanding experience at Scoop N Buns! I celebrated my birthday there, and the customer service was exceptional. Trang, one of the employees, was incredibly kind and helpful. I tried their delicious donut sandwich with Horchata ice cream simply divine! A perfect 10/10, highly recommend! What truly touched my heart was the owner and staff surprising me with a tres leches cake and singing happy birthday. It was so special; I almost cried. Despite the hour-long drive, the experience and atmosphere made it all worthwhile. I will definitely be returning soon. Thank you for making my birthday unforgettable!

Wonderful place! I come here with my girlfriend any chance we get! The atmosphere is so comforting and relaxed, you cant help but feel happy. The staff are all very sweet and welcoming! Nah because the staff was so friendly and for our first time there, they helped us by explaining the menu. What a cute little place. We took our family there and it was super clean and the ice cream was delicious. I had the horchata cinnamon ice cream and my kids had the donut ice cream sandwich. They have places to take pictures and even have a TV with a Super Nintendo you can play. When we were there they had Mario Kart. We spent about $25 dollars there for four people. This is definitely a place that we will go back to.

This is my second visit here. They always have excellent service with a smile, unique and delicious flavors, and they offer samples. There are also other desserts offered and drinks. The long hours are convenient and the patio is dog friendly with a water bowl.

Delicious ice cream and awesome service! Their Pecan Praline is creamy and nutty. My little loved the cookie monster. They have toppings you can add and Agua frescos in bags!!! Definitely recommend for some late night ice cream cravings!

Nothing special, below average and lots of other places in DFW to enjoy good ice cream. Go to an Asian market and pick up Magnolia Brand ube ice cream, so much better! Not a fan of halo halo, never have been, but my partner in crime thought it was ok . If you re wanting an authentic taste of what Filipinos rave about, buy yourself some of that Magnolia, masarap.

Had the vanilla biscoff ice cream with a donut, the banana pudding, and my husband had the horchata ice cream with the donut. It was so fresh and delicious! I wouldve taken the ice cream alone tasted fresh and homemade I was pleasantly surprised. The ice cream alone is a prize winner. Would love to come back and try the churros! We were in garland and wanted to get desserts, while on our way home, Google for dessert, this place popped up! Im glad it did! Best halo halo Ive had in a while! The leche flan was the best Ive had! Stopped by for the first time yesterday with friends and will def be coming back. Their ice cream is delicious and smooth. We tried their flan and it was great! I also took home the strawberry bundt cake and the ube tres leches cake. The bundt cake was good as well but the ube cake?? AMAZING!! Everyone working was so nice and the owner Zoya was very cheerful and friendly. Well absolutely be stopping by again especially for that ube tres leches cake

I tried the vanilla oreo scoop n bun, my husband tried the mint chocolate chip scoop n bun. Everything was really good. This place was awesome and the atmosphere is fun. They have selfie backgrounds on each wall. My kids loved taking pictures there, especially my 4 yr old daughter. They also had a video game for bigger kids to play while they enjoy their ice cream. I dont like the location. It has a really small parking lot that is made of loose gravel and rocks. But once you find a parking spot, youre good. This place serves donuts with the ice cream! Amazing! My only issue was the flavor options. For small kids, they usually just want vanilla or chocolate with a bunch of different topping options. But this place had 6 choices when we were there. Two bins were empty, so 6 choices were available. Some of their flavors were flavors I never heard of like purple yams and sweet corn, with actual corn in the ice cream. They didnt have any of the basic flavors, which might be great for adults.... just not so much for kids, especially mine. They are pretty picky at ages 4 and 8, but since it came with donuts, they were able to look past their flavor not being available. They also had about 5 toppings to choose from. They had pebbles cereal, oreo, waffle cone, regular colored sprinkles and marshmallows. Overall, the creativity itself is a solid 10!

This is the best ice cream shop hands down. Love the atmosphere and the excellent service. The owners are so awesome and super friendly. When you walk in you will be wowed by all the beautiful creativity they ve done to make it the shop look so cute. Love everything about this shop especially when they have pop-up events to help support small business vendors. It s very family friendly. They have so many options to choose from not just ice cream. My favorite items here are the traditional elote, seasonal abuelita hot chocolate and the yummylicious watermelon refresher for those hot summer days. The best ice cream shop in Garland! I definitely recommend the signature Scoop n Bun which is an ice cream filled glazed donut. There is a donuthole version with a scoop of ice cream on the side. 10/10 either way. They have other sweet and savory treats and I m still working my way through the menu as everything is soooo delicious!
