The food was what youd expect from Dennys. The waiter was cool but seemed high. He was still very courteous and prompt for the most part. He stares a lot, which can make you uncomfortable, but I dont think he means any harm. The place could have been cleaner, especially since there were really no customers.

Miss Norma was wonderful, taking care of me and my wonderful grandkids. (Even though we came in with one screaming) Norma was welcoming and reassuring. The restaurant was clean. The bathrooms were clean and the food was delicious. Especially the macaroni cheese and the pot roast melt.

Me and my boyfriend got here around 11:00 PM; everything else was closed so we decided to stop by. Coming in, it was freezing cold inside, to the point where I was shaking in a long sleeve shirt. We ordered and waited for over an hour to get our food. My boyfriend ended up getting food poisoning from the classic sampler, and my hash browns and bacon were burnt. Everything had an off taste and it was horrible. The service was horrible, due to the complete lack of communication. No one said a word to us about the wait or where our food was, from the time we ordered to an hour later when we got our food. There were also only about 4 tables being served, and at least 3 waitresses. There was absolutely no reason for it to take that long, just to come out inedible anyway. When I asked for a refund on my meal, we were given the military discount which took 3$ off of my 14$ meal. Ridiculous. Definitely won t be coming here again. The wait wouldn t have been a big deal at all, if it had simply been communicated. It s the fact that we were completely ignored instead.

The man cleaning table was so thorough and professional. We were astonished in how clean he almost alone kept the customer area of restaurant. I didnt catch his name, but he was a middle-aged short Hispanic gentleman. I pray he gets recognized for his hard work and friendly demeanor. If I had a restaurant, I would love to have someone like him in my employment.

*Update* Night manager is beyond amazing. Funny, helpful and cheerful. Only go to this dennys because of him. I work overnights and got out earlier than usual so I stopped by after trying a few other places and either 1) never being greeted or seated or 2) the place being closed. So I decided to come to this location. I havent been here in years but was not disappointed. The food was good atmosphere chill. But the stand out thing was my server Robert P. He is the nicest, funniest and cheerful person. Definitely enjoyed are small talk and his attention to detail. Will definitely be back because of him.

The hash browns were burned and you can see the oil/butter was burnt because it had black running out from them. My husbands sausage was also burnt, the cook who was there 03/17/24 at 2:30pm needs to be trained on how to cook the food and not send it burned to the table. Also it is very uncomfortable when they start mopping and you are eating because there is a foul smell coming from the mop.

Best service and with lots of smiles. I love eating breakfast for dinner, and theyre great at making breakfast foods. They use real blueberries, unlike the waffle house, which uses some strange square gum-like substance. Seriously, dont settle for anything other than real fruit! You deserve a great American breakfast with bacon. Never trust anyone who doesnt like bacon.

This Dennys has seriously upped their game since my last visit a year or so back. The food was on point. Dennys pancakes always used to be too sweet, so i dont know if the recipe has been changed or what, but theyre perfect now. My mothers steak was cooked to perfection, and exactly how she asked for. Our waitress, Arteshea, is legitimately one of the best wait staff I have encountered in a very long time, and was able to perfectly balance attentiveness and not being intrusive, as well as getting our orders perfect. We will be back.

miserable experience, I regularly come in here after work and for the last 3 weeks it has been unbearable, the AC doesnt work so its 85 in the place, their primary server seems to have zero food safety training with 4 inch acrylic nails that constantly end up in food she is carrying. and later at night the manager Robert, constantly bugs me and other diners about his great business and flashes us some wad of cash to prove it, even when we make it clear we dont want to talk he still seems to hang around and bug our kids most of all, I will not come here with my family at night anymore because the man gives me and my wife, as well as our kids, the creeps. The food is fantastic, and most of the servers, especially Kim is really nice, and seems to have a great rapport with all the customers. please talk with these employees because the place feels creepy at night and I dont want nails that just touched a ton of money to be dipped in my food because the server thinks its somehow fashionable Kid-friendliness: Aside from the server Robert above, every server actually is friendly to my kids, and it seems to be a great family space.

On the plus side the service was much better than the last time. The female server I had was as good as it s going to be at this location. The older Hispanic server who is not good is still there. I tried the chicken fried chicken with a side of scrambled eggs. The eggs were great, but the chicken fried chicken was not. The French Fries were way too salty. The chicken was on salty side and tasted overcooked. If you want chicken fried chicken go to a Grandy s for it if you can find one of the few still in business that has good service (The Grandy s in Mesquite is not good).

This review is only for the Night Shift my husband and I went two night different time period and both night were horrible the lady has a bad attitude and no matter to waitresses she gets frustrated because we try to tell her how we wanted our food since we don t speak perfect English the first night they brought us the wrong food then got mad because we addressed that and last night we went with the kids and took so long to take our orders we waited for over 30 minutes for the to ask what we were drinking we arrived at 10:20didn t get our food till maybe passed 11:20 and with hair on the eggs I mean they did took it off the check but they don t know how to talk to people and have good customer service in the other hand day shift are always excellent even when they are busy they manage to make sure we are taking care of definitely sticking to the day shift people after this two experience

TV advertised 7.99 Super SLAM. Was charged 9.99. Manager said he didnt know about the promotion but adjusted price. Said he wouldnt do it again. After contacting customer support we were told to beware of their ads because fine print and conditions can be misleading. So,..consumer beware,...also, everything was sticky and had to get shakers from another table. We used to like going there,...but things have changed. They also did not honor our AARP discount because of the fine print and conditions involved. Consumer beware!

I had a great experience at this location today. I hadnt been to a Dennys in a long time and I m glad it was at the one in Irving The food was very fresh and full of flavor and our waiter was very attentive. As we were leaving, joe was very kind to me and my group and it made for an overall great experience The pot roast, potatoes & carrots had a great flavor but the roast was over cooked and the veggies were under cooked. The T bone was perfectly cooked, very well seasoned and tasted great! We also had the strawberry cream crepes, and caramel apple crisp with ice cream. Both desserts were also fantastic!! Ive forgotten just how good Dennys food can be, tonight I was reminded and very pleased to be. This is the literally how I measure any breakfast house in DFW now, how close it is to this place. Obviously the most important thing the atmosphere is how good is the pancakes and this is where it scores highest because it s AMAZING! But then the pleasant scenery, the cute ranch style decor and great service all make a difference too. Overall the best pancake housein DFW for me and probably one of the best in Texas too! Also want to add the female bathroom were cleaned very well!! I like going to this Dennys. Great food. Manager was very friendly. Our service. Was fast and order was correct. Atmosphere was warm and friendly. Building looks nice. Restrooms are clean and organized. We were greeted and asked to return. Thanks John.
