Ive been going to this store for since I moved to Galveston. I have always been treated so kindly here. I dont personally drink but I do buy alcohol for my family. I would say they have a wide selection in my limited experience. In any event I totally recommend this store based off of the great customer service thats provided alone.

If you are on vacation in or a local Galvestonion I recommend this liquor store. They have all the Kentucky Bourbons except Blantons all major tequila and dont hide anything like Specs does.

I came to this place because I saw that it had great reviews. However, when I walked in the experience I had with the guy that works the counter was pretty frustrating and hostile. Everything on their shelves is completely unorganized, and I simply saw a box of bourbon on the floor. I walked over to the box to see if there were any in there that I could purchase, and he immediately shouted at me and told me not to touch it and to get away as if I was trying to steal it. I tried to explain to him that I was just an interested customer And he continued to berate me. I love building relationships with liquor store owners because I see the relationship as mutual but this guy seems to have a serious issue with people who are friendly as if he just wants to be left alone and not bothered. If you re a regular customer here you might be OK. If you re coming here for the first time I would pass on this location as they don t have a great selection anyway be criticized for being a customer. There s a liquor store right down the street that is 10 times better and the guy is so friendly that he loves to pour you samples and let you try some things. I think the guy that works here should probably work the night shift spraying for cockroaches where he doesn t need to be bothered. It s in a pretty rundown part of town too and the store is dirty.

Best liquor store on the east end. Jake, the proprietor, actively runs the store and is happy to take suggestions and share great stories. Good stock of various liquors, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, cigarettes, lotto, etc. If he doesnt have it, he is happy to get some in just because you ask. 11/10 would recommend to anyone on the east end.

I used to be a regular customer of Old Franks Liquor Store before he passed. Mr. Jake has picked up the flag and carried on Franks Legacy, providing great, friendly service at fair prices with attention to detail for years. Ill always be his customer!! doc in Galveston

What I like about this store is the fact that it is always clean and very well organized. Jay, the store owner, is very friendly and down to earth. Whether you need ice, soda, cold beer, wine, liquor, or even a lotto ticket, he has it all!

Nice hole in the wall liquor store. Prices a little bit high but as is everything else. Customer service was on point, helped to find what I wanted so I could get back to enjoying my vacation... cheers

Stopped in for cocktail stuff while on vacation. Found what my wife wanted but the bottles were all out of date by several months. Picked out other stuff and all was good. The store is pretty cluttered but offers a good selection. They do have a better than usual variety of bourbon and prices did not seem outrageous.
