Everything was great, best sleep Ive ever had at a hotel. The location was great also. My only complaint would be the expensive price of breakfast for basically continental breakfast food that is included free everywhere else. The supervisor unfortunately i cant remember his name but he was fantastic as well as the pool side service.

IT IS A MOLDY, DISGUSTING OVERPRICED SCAM! My husband is an IHG member, and he is relocating 3 hours away for a new job. We wont be seeing one another for a while, so he wanted to take me away for a couple of relaxing days before he leaves for his new job. RELAXING? WE DID NOT! For starters, it is very UNSAFE! There arent any cameras in the breezeways where all the rooms are. I didnt pay attention anywhere else because what is the point? It is very dark at night. You have to walk outside to get to the lobby, and it is in tbe back to get to the front. Also, this is really more like a motel. It is a weird setup up. We had to wash our feet about 50 times just walking around barefoot in our room because the carpet and floorweres so dusgustingly dirty. Black mold all over the curtains. The bathroom smelled of urine. They have UNFENCED scafolding scaling the entire height of the building on both ends. That is inviting a lawsuit. We went on this little trip to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. Furthermore, due to my medical condition, I require a couple of naps during the day, but the construction noises were absolutely horrendous, making that impossible. They were replacing balcony railings several floors above us, but it sounded like they were jackhammering the floor in the room directly above. It is quite disappointing because this place has so much potential, but everything is just wrong right now due to bad decision-making. Holiday Inn is a huge corporation, and they can surely spare closing a hotel down for 8-12 months to do a major overhaul. It is so outdated, moldy, and dirty. They need to bite the bullet and shut it down completely during this renovation and do a REAL renovation. Not some halfway job with just new floor and paint. Or shut 1/2 of the hotel down to work on it and only have 1/2 of it open. Why are you working on the whole thing at once? We are booked to go to Gatlinburg, TN in March 2025, and now I am even more hesitant to stay at another Holiday Inn property because of this experience since I am more stressed out after after visiting this fake resort.

My wife and I are platinum priority members of IHG. Within an hour of our check-in, we witnessed a 5yo. girl nearly drown in the pool. I was present to provide crowd control while another person directed CPR. I then got questioned by police for an hour after the incident. The girl was alive in the moment, but there was a lot of speculation about her recovery. That night, there was a fight at the bar during a live music show. We had a gaggle of drunken 60 something year old women screaming outside of our door. They proceeded to rave in the room next to us until daylight. None of us slept. The night before we checked out we complained again and were finally moved at 10:30pm. I was given the managers name, BRANDON MARSH, when we left. I have tried to contact him from the day we checked out two weeks ago and have yet to receive a call back. @BrandonMarsh We deserve a reply and a full refund after leaving MULTIPLE MESSAGES with you and the staff.

This was a great place to stay with the kids. Right across from the beach. The room was spacious and had a small balcony area. The pool was kid friendly with a kid splash pad area. Resort has an arcade room, kids arts and crafts activity room, a game room, and a small theatre room. Just a 10 minute drive distance away from the Rainforest Café, a 20 minute drive from mini golf or batting range, and 20 minute drive to the Pier. Even had a sports bar downstairs with music for the adults. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a set menu. The front desk and customer service were friendly and helpful whenever needed. Small gift shop with pool essentials if needed. Will save for next time. Rooms: Queen bed room was small but roomy. Nearby activities: Minigold, Pier, Rainforest Café, sports bar, other restaurants just walking distance. Walkability: Restaurants and shopping centers just a 10 - 30 minute walk each way. Food and drinks: Vending machines on each floor. Restaurant and sports bar on the first floor.

Nice hotel overall. Staff have all been very nice and provided great service. The pool is nice and seems a good size for the size of the hotel. They provide towels and the pool seating was nice. The restaurant is decent but not a large menu. The location is great and is convenient to all things to do in Galveston. It is right across from the Gulf so you can just walk over to the beach. The reason for the 3 stars is that Most rooms have balconies, but they are very narrow and most overlook part of the building down below. So while you can see the water which is nice, you hear all the ac units below as well as feel the extra heat coming off of it, and look out at the building. It s not the best view. I feel the rooms were overpriced bc of this. The room was nice enough and clean, but the ceiling was cracked and patched all over, our toilet was broken, and the room and bathroom were small. The activities offered weren t always at the set time. A couple times it said movie by the pool but that didn t happen. Nice place overall.

Our stay at this hotel was amazing! We had a minor challenge, but Elizabeth and her manager Anthony were so accommodating. Our room overlooked the ocean. The bed was comfortable. I had read the other reviews before choosing this location. Some of the reviews people gave about the scent might be because people do not realize how humid being on the beach can be. They did the best to dry the hotel with additional fans! I would 100% stay here over and over. I just have to give another special shout out to Elizabeth as she was so customer service friendly and welcoming. Thank you Elizabeth for making a difference. Nearby activities: The restaurant the Spot was great and Bubba Gump s was too. Walkability: You can walk to the peer and close by restaurants. The peer has fun rides and restaurants.

Noteworthy details: We had a room booked for months with points. 2 days before arrival they called and said they were running on generators we said ok that is fine. They called the day before arrival and said they would be closed. Cancel our reservation. It took several hours to find a room. Every thing was booked due to hurricane. We got up early to go to ours cruise. We went by the hotel and they were open. Just to let you know your points doesnt mean sh**. So disappointed in holiday inn.

I stayed two nights in this hotel and my stay was overall very pleasant. The staff were friendly and professional. I was warmly greeted by them as I was walking around the property. The only reason I had to knock one star off was because of how thin the walls were. despite wearing earplugs, I was waken up several times during my first night stay due to the noise from my neighbor. I felt very sorry for calling the front desk at 5am in the morning for a noise complaint because it was keeping me up all night. The staff was professional and efficiently addressed the issue. However, I do wish the rooms were better sound proofed. Rooms: My room was clean and spacious. The room was equipped with a small fridge and a small Keurig coffee machine. The bathtub was not the greatest due to its small size. I found myself barely fitting in as a 5 6, 145lbs person.. the walls of these rooms were again paper-thin.. I was waken up several times due to the noise from my next door neighbor despite the fact that I was wearing earplugs. Nearby activities: There are plenty of things to do nearby. The beach was 5 minutes away. You can also find many interesting stores right around the corner from the hotel. Safety: As a solo traveler, I felt safe in and around the property during my stay. Food and drinks: The hotel has a restaurant and a bar. I tried the red fish from the restaurant and it was delicious :) In the morning the restaurant also offers a breakfast buffet for $16. The quality of the food as well as the varieties were great. The bar was fun too. They had live music playing both Friday and Saturday nights. It did get a bit too loud for me after 10:30pm, but you always have the option to grab a drink and enjoy it elsewhere (outside or back to your room). Noteworthy details: This hotel is extremely family friendly. They had an arcade room, a mini movie theater and a small gift shop located very close to the lobby. If you are travelling with little ones, you ll find plenty of activities to enjoy.

What an experience from the time I walked in to my room, I realized the room was not clean. The tub was full of sand and the sheets were never changed, leaving someone bloodstains. The only other option they gave me was a room upstairs, where there was one king bed when I clearly booked two beds 5day vacation with my 11-year-old and 14 year old, the only other option they gave me was to my kids on the air mattress after paying $1500 for a 5-day stay so my children slept on the air mattress the entire vacation very uncomfortable. I m so unhappy. I will never book here ever again.

UPDATE 2: I m happy to report the General Manager responded and removed the charge after a few days. Definitely pay close attention to the hotel s reservation policy, as even when booking with IHG Rewards points, there is a 48 hour cancellation window and may be a charge if you modify your reservation inside this. Excellent spot. Cannot comment on the beach here, although you ll have to cross the street to access it. The pool was busy and family-centric, but a nice space to be. The poolside drink service is a nice feature and the food options are solid as well. Property was organized, clean, and well maintained. The area around seems safe. Staff was friendly and helpful. This location is due to be renovated later this year

This is not a resort. I would not even call it a hotel, but a motel. All doors face outside, not in a hallway, which is what I call a motel. When we checked in we were informed of the $10 parking fee, not a big deal but it would have been nice to know up front. The room we were given was musty and the AC did not work and when I asked to be moved they said they had no rooms but the website showed they did. The maintenance man (who was very nice) came a turned on a hidden light switch behind a lamp across the room and it turned on right away. The hotel is old and run down and really needs to be redone. The sheets were stained and when I asked for fresh ones they did bring fresh ones right out of the dryer - they were hot - but those too were stained. Its a nice location right across from the beach but you hear the cars all night long so between that and itchy stained sheets good night getting any sleep.

My family and I chose this hotel to stay at before departing on a cruise to celebrate my grandmothers 90th birthday. Before showing up for our stay, we called twice to confirm that we had the cruise package booked, which would allow us to park our car for the week and then would provide us with a shuttle to and from the cruise ship. Both times, the person on the phone confirmed we DID have it booked. When we arrived, Rachelle checked us in and stated we did not have the cruise package booked. Her handling of the entire situation was unprofessional, childish, and belittling. She spoke in a degrading tone to all of us, including my 90 year old grandmother which I find to be completely unacceptable. At one point she told us to just go figure out somewhere else to stay. Her behavior was so disgraceful that the other girl working up front finally told her (and I quote), you need to stop talking and go to the back to calm down. Rachelle caused the start of our trip to be incredibly stressful and her attitude was truly disgusting. Even though we were told TWICE that we already paid for the cruise package, we ended up paying extra to ensure that we had somewhere to park and could get to our cruise ship as needed. Other things about our stay were unsatisfactory (particularly the DJ blasting music into our room until about midnight and the broken elevators that don t stay open and caused my grandmothers arm to bleed after closing on her) but the only thing that actually urged me to leave a negative review is Rachelle.

Service was terrible. There was a confusion in our stay and the cruise package we tried to reserve and Rachelle at the front desk called my mother a liar and was terribly rude to my 90 year old grandmother. The correct response would have been to help us get things corrected, but instead she told us we can go stay somewhere else. Finally someone else got us the help we needed. This all came out of nowhere and was unacceptable. $16 breakfast buffet was way overpriced. Had all the same junk options as a common free breakfast at other hotels. Elevators were dangerous and even closed on my grandmothers arm and made her bleed. Front desk people need training in customer service.

He has been doing good and just wanted to see the beach so before his next treatment his parents booked a room here. Well he has gotten very sick and is in the hospital. His mom ask for a voucher to just reschedule their stay and no one will accommodate her. The manager can give a refund or reschedule for her stay to a later date but he refuses. She has called corporate and everyone she can think of for help. Knowing it s peak season and he could rent their room out in a matter of minutes but will not help this family out! I have never been to a hotel and could say 100% everything was amazing. If an issue arose and we had 2. One being my grandfather feel in parking lot. Staff on it got us all medical supplies to help him. Even got us extra supplies to use later for him. Then my teenager, well they have like vending machines for towels. And a hamper you place them in when leaving the pool. She was not paying attention and put her shirt in as well. Once she realized we went back down and everyone was helping look. Found it in laundry room and got it out to her. Aside from those things when we would come in from beach so welcoming. Rooms clean, very clean. View was amazing. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

If I could give zero stars right now, I would . This FB post was made by one of my best friends whose six-year-old was diagnosed with leukemia earlier this year. It is completely ridiculous and unacceptable that your hotel chain will not allow her to reschedule their trip to Galveston on a later date when he is not in the hospital. He has chemo once a week in Houston, which is three hours from where we live. Anytime he runs a fever he has to go back to the hospital because right now, his white blood count is at zero! This shows a complete lack of compassion, and I cannot believe a company would operate like this! She does not want a refund. She wants to be able to take her son and her family to Galveston and stay at your hotel. It s hard for me to believe that there are no cancellation exceptions, especially in a situation like this or even if a family experienced a sudden death is the value of a dollar worth more than doing the right thing or even doing the most humane thing? I am asking that this situation be corrected properly and truly pray that you are never in a situation like this. The Holiday Inn Resort Galveston- On the Beach saga continues. I have spent the last 3 hours trying to take care of Hudson and manage his pain and talk to someone at Holiday Inn. I have spoken with numerous people at IHG Hotels & Resorts & Holiday Inn who have been working with me to try to help me. However, for whatever reason, the only person who can give me a credit for future use or issue a refund is a local manager named Brandon Marsh who refuses to help me at all. Could he have issued me a credit for future use & then rebooked the room and made money, absolutely! I just got off the phone again with someone at the call center who put in another request for him to do the right thing which they say Holiday Inn would typically do in this situation. I have asked who owns this particular location when I called there directly (because it usually has to be posted in the lobby) and they cannot disclose that information. When I look on Landrys, Inc. website, they say they do. Regardless, it s hard for me to believe there is nobody above the manager at this hotel. Everyone answers to someone regardless if they will give me that information or not. My baby, who is now very sick fighting for his life, just wanted to go to the beach. Instead it looks like not only will we not be going now, but that we won t be going in the future. I m really hoping that with the power of social media that someone who can do something will see this and can help so please share. #heroes4hudson #heroesforhudson #leukemiawarrior #leukemia #holidayinn #IHG

Nice hotel where all rooms have a balcony overlooking the beach (across the street but unblocked view) and the pool. Room was nice and plenty of space for the two of us. Front desk was friendly & helpful in every way......restaurant & bar folks were OK, but should be friendlier considering what they charge for drinks (and the mixed drinks were VERY weak!). In fact, I suppose that was our only disappointment.....the drinks were weak, and generally, very bad ($12 for a frozen daiquiri that had no alcohol and minimal taste was especially memorable!). If you have a car, there is a Spot with about 4-5 different drinking establishments not too far away. Also, there is a Kroger grocery only a few blocks away (south?). Pool area is nice and big, and well kept......we found it very relaxing.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay here with my toddler. Customer Service. We were greeted warmly and quickly despite a long line of people in front of us. Two employees, who noticed I had my daughter with me, were quick to let me know about all of the family friendly events going on for the day. They have a room with arcade games, a different room with game room with ping pong, cornhole, etc. and a movie room perpetually showing kid movies. The Room. Everything in the room was clean. The air smelled fresh. I always check hotel beds for bed bugs. I found none. What I did find was what appeared to be a sparkling clean white mattress. It looked new. The king bed had 4 king pillows, 2 soft and 2 medium firm. The bed was comfortable for a spring mattress. Parking. I didn t have a problem with parking at anytime of day or night. At night tho, the parking lot was so well lit you d be forgiven if you thought it was daytime. Location: We were close to everything you d want to do or would need in Galveston. The beach is across the street, Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens, good restaurants, not so good restaurants, supermarket, Walgreens, etc.

Opportunities: Rooms were outdated and felt damp the whole time from the carpet to the bedding. Should have done more research on walking to beach as it is across a very busy boulevard and not safe to walk across. To be safe, walk down to the stoplight.

We travel to Galveston a minimum of 1-2 time per year and we have stayed at this hotel many many many times as well as several others on the island. However, we always come back here. Its not the fanciest, or most modern, but the hotel has always been clean, the service as always been near perfect, and the price is very fair. Its in a prime location and within walking distance to lots of places and we always feel safe in the area with our children. I am only deducting one star due to the awful red paint in a lot of the rooms, its just not a relaxing or beachy color and looks extrememly dated compared to the rooms with the green. Im sure theyre due for a new facelift soon! We have an upcoming stay in July and I am just hoping we dont get assigned a red room... thats how off-putting the red really is.

The good: Killer ocean views! Front desk staff are friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms are clean. The rest: Rooms are tired and worn, everything is damp in the rooms-the carpet, bedding, everything! I m from coastal FL and know humidity, but dampness indoors?! AC ran 24/7 but still, everything was damp and several items had mildew or mold on them. This was the same for everyone in my travel party (7 rooms in total). The door to my balcony didn t fully close and the deadbolt was broken. No generator to power rooms!!! During our stay we lost power for 5 hours one morning. No AC, lights, hot water. Every other hotel in the area had generators that provided power to rooms. Crazy!! Lastly, if you decide to stay, bring ear plugs. Hotel is noisy. Overall, do NOT recommend.

Lets said I we been in several other hotels of this chain since my family owns and very prestigious travelers agency..and never had a complain but this time , I am Very disappointed whit the service of the manager at afternoon on the April 4. who minimized and almost call me ridiculous for call about stolen property in the Hotel and hang the phone to me.. its a disgrace for the Holiday inn company.. I have been in several places and never had such experience whit unprepared people like him.. I really spect better from a hotel from this company in a touristic area.. my daughter had her shorts stolen at the pool where they claim to have 24 security.. when i call to complain about this issue and try to get it solved he just told me are you making all this because a pair of shorts ?your daughter should be more careful with her stuff and hang up the phone.. no offering a solution or anything else. a simply Im sorry , Ill see what I can do to resolve the issue would it be enough for me in that time... But no.. he had to pull a child inside of him and hang up the phone.. this is the last time staying at this place. .and of course.. i will advice everyone to be very careful if they do. Safety: Do not leave anything while you are on the pool.. their 24 hrs surveillance does not cover the pool.

Beautiful views, the staff were all super nice and welcoming/helpful. Larry was the best front end, Roberto in the dining and Jesse in the bar. All great! However, the entire time we stayed the lobby/bar/and eatery smelled strongly on vomit. It made me want to throw up to walk through or even grab a drink from the bar. We asked what the stink was and if they were remedying it, they were unsure where/what it was. So so gross. The backside of hotel was an annoying layout where you have to use your key card 3 times to get across. We had to switch rooms because one bed was broken. Also, pool rules were not upheld. I get there s no lifeguard but several pre teens had no adult or wristband, a group of people had a baby in the hot tub and another night people were smoking in it and so so loud. Overall it wasn t usual holiday inn high standards.

We travel to Galveston several times a year & this was our first visit to this hotel. My hubby wanted some place near a couple of our favorite restaurants, and with a bar for a couple of drinks in the evening without having to go out & drive. The check in was just flawless here, even sending us a text when our room was ready before the regular check in time. Front desk personnel ask you if there is anything they can do for you or anything you need and you get the feeling that they WILL make it happen if they can. The hotel was clean, and our room was clean. The bath was clean & well appointed, and the balcony was clean with comfortable chairs to sit on and enjoy the gulf view. The TV worked fine, the in-room fridge worked, and even though we did not use it there is a safe in the closet. The bed was firm and clean & my husband and I both slept well. The Mambo Kings were the scheduled entertainment in the B.Jiggers bar Saturday night, but we were tired after running around all day and ended up not going after all. The only hiccup was that our in-room coffee maker didnt work Sunday morning. We didnt worry about it and I told the desk guy when I checked out and he wanted to get me a cup to go. I declined but thanked him for the thought. Even the housekeeping & other employees you might pass in the hall would greet you. We would choose this hotel again. Safety: We saw parking lot security in a golf cart several times during our stay. I like that ! Walkability: We easily walked 3 blocks from our hotel room to the Landrys for dinner.

Spanish We booked 4 nights. Mike at check-in was great. The staff we ran into were very friendly. I see negative reviews... Noise depends on what part of the hotel youre in, maybe? The pool closes around 11pm, so you hear music and talking until then. The band plays until about midnight-ish, so you hear that, too. I think placement plays a big part in how disruptive the noise might be to your sleep/stay. I didnt sleep until the pool closed. Their Webster location is worse as far as noise. So yay for that! Housekeeping is definitely underappreciated. They were fantastic. The restaurant next door has great food and service too. Not bad for business travel or cruise Id say. We booked 4 nights. Mike at check-in was friendly and professional. The staff we encountered were very friendly. I see negative reviews... The noise depends on what part of the hotel you are in, I think. The pool closes around 11 pm, so you can listen to music and talk. The band plays until midnight, so you hear that too. I think location is important in what you can hear. The cleaning service was definitely fantastic.

It was pretty nice for what it is. The pictures make it look much more equisite and it s not super bougie. But comfortable, clean, and enjoyable. The pool and hot tub were clean and in operation. The little lounge area with fire pits were wonderful for conversation at night. The view was awesome. But you couldn t hear the ocean at all since it s a bay. There s a Keurig in the room but no creamer. Wish they had coffee in the lobby. And free breakfast for the cost. But the staff was super nice. The group of young women were really chill. I feel like the lobby could be updated. They even had beach towels to use. The bar down below had a band and it at least went to 11 pm. I was surprised you could hear it in the room. But overall it wouldn t be enough to affect sleep. Overall I thought it was great. Good water pressure and the best perk! Surplus size DOVE shampoo conditioner and lotion to use and not just small samples!! That was awesome. Truly in all my travels, the coolest thing is that. We re here for cruise departure. And unfortunately they DID NOT OFFER free shuttle. It was the deciding factor for us to pick this hotel, and it was $50 for 4 ppl. So other than that. Do NOT stay here if you plan to sleep with people in the room next to you. There was a man and his children next door to us. All there was between our rooms was a thin, locked door with light coming through it and a half-inch crack at the bottom. You could hear EVERYTHING he was saying. Things picked up around 11:30 when he started yelling at the children, and it continued until 1AM. The kids kept crying and yelling. I called the front desk, but magically, the yelling stopped. Im guessing thats because the man heard me just like I could hear him. Then they woke up around 6AM and started again. There is ZERO sound proofing between the rooms. This is, by far, the worst experience I have ever had at a Holiday Inn property.

Not a great place for light/sensitive sleepers. Service was great. My room had a clogged drain when I arrived, which was quickly corrected. Staff at the front desk were pleasant to interact with and were helpful. I liked the attention to detail with pillows, where there were firm and soft options. My main complaint is with the lack of sun/blackout-shades in the rooms, along with poor soundproofing, with the sun-shades being the biggest issue. While there are privacy shades, they do little to block out sunlight that starts coming up around 6-7 AM. Soundproofing is also imperfect, with doors for balconies on other floors making a lot of noise when opened/closed, noise from trucks/cars from outside the room at early hours that are not suppressed much (even with ear plugs). There were also some outlets that did not work and cracked/broken wood at the bottom of bathroom doors. While minor, they were noticeable. If you are not sensitive, the hotel is likely fine. For people like me, your sleep may not be great.

IHG Rewards member. After checking in, I had to go back to the front desk and ask about breakfast. Was told there were no vouchers and I dont remember seeing anything about that when reserving. Ended up having the $16 buffet which, based on the type and quality should have been no more than $8. When checking out, I was told about the charge for parking. A charge for parking????? That was another $20 for 2 nights. Why couldnt have someone told me about that when checking in??????? Surprise!!!! You owe us another $20. Crappy way of doing business. Nickel and diming someone like that is well below IHG. The room was actually ok on the 2nd night after the heating unit was looked at by maintenance on a couple of chilly nights.

A reserved room for $114 cost me $264 when it was all done. I reserved a room for four, two twin beds and got a room with a king size bed. We stayed there one night and I had to pay extra for my vehicle to be in their parking lot. The shuttle to the ship was supposed to be included, but it was an extra $50. The complementary breakfast was not complementary, it was $16.99 a person, and the food quality was not worth that amount. Overall I will give this place 2 thumbs down and will not be staying here again. Disappointing.

Wow...check the wind forecast BEFORE you stay here! One of the absolute worst overnight stays in recent memory. 25mph winds kept me up practically all night. The primary door - from the open wind tunnel corridor - was poorly sealed, allowing a significant amount of draft in. Nevermind the absurdly loud howling sound of the wind. Beautiful view of the Gulf from the balcony (opposite/south end of the room), but as I didnt stay here to watch the water all night long, it didnt make up for the extremely annoying wind. If youre a light sleeper, it will be a terrible experience. Other than that, it wasnt bad...

Rooms: Our stay at the hotel was wonderful. We had the pleasure of staying in a king suite, which came with a private balcony complete with a table and two chairs. The room was impressively clean and had a lovely scent. One of the things that I particularly appreciated was the use of big bottles of soap and personal hygiene items, which lasted us for the entire four days of our stay. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this hotel to others. Nearby activities: If youre planning a beach getaway, youll be glad to know that the beach is conveniently located just across the street. Additionally, there are numerous restaurants and stores nearby that offer a variety of rental options for exploring the island. For those who need to stay connected, the resort features a business center, and theres also an arcade for some fun indoor entertainment. And when it comes to dining, you wont have to travel far as the resort boasts two restaurants to choose from. Safety: To ensure safety and security, access to areas beyond the front desk requires a room key. Additionally, a placard is provided to park in the secure lot. Security personnel frequently patrol the area to ensure a safe environment for all guests. Walkability: Youll be delighted to know that everything is conveniently located nearby. You can easily access a variety of restaurants, souvenir shops, the beach, and transportation options such as carts, e-bikes, and e-scooters - all within walking distance. Plus, in case of any medical emergency, theres a 24/7 doctor available nearby. Food and drinks: If you prefer to stay in, there are several options available for you to enjoy. You can order room service from the resorts restaurants or have food delivered to your room. Additionally, there are drink and vending machines located throughout the resort for your convenience. You will also have access to a fridge, microwave, and coffee station to make your stay more comfortable. Noteworthy details: During our honeymoon, we had a delightful stay from Tuesday to Friday morning. The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to assist us whenever we needed help. The weather was fantastic throughout our stay, and even though it rained on Thursday night, it did not dampen our spirits. The rainfall added an extra charm to our trip and made it even more memorable.

Update: Truly disappointed with this stay. There were roaches in our room! I saw several reviews saying the same thing the last few months but we ve been here many times and never had this issue so thought maybe it was just disgruntled people. Also, the hot tub was broken the 5 days we were there. I understand stuff happens but guests should ve been told so they had the option to go elsewhere. I only get 14 days off from January 1-December 31st. Not vacation days, but 14 full days the whole year and 12 of those days are spent at this hotel. We are lazy vacationers and spend the majority of our vacation relaxing in the pool, hot tub, or room since I work so much. If we had been told of the hot tub situation, we would ve went to a different place since that is where I tend to spend a large part of my vacation for my back issues. Will not recommend or come back until these issues are resolved. Also the drain in our shower was broken and has been that way since May when we were in the same room months ago. Staff was notified then and still wasn t fixed months later.

Arrived on a Saturday around 5pm. By 11pm we were searching for somewhere else to stay. My son and wife had a separate room. Both rooms were hot when we checked in. Ok, so we cranked the ac to cool it down and went for dinner. After an hour and a half wait for dinner, an hour long dinner and a walk on the beach (stating times only as time refrence) we returned to our rooms. My sons room was still not cooled. Ours wasnt bad to be honest. But both of our refrigerators were not working so no place to put our deserts to snack on later. My husband went to see if the room had cooled down. It hadnt. He tried calling the front desk but there were no instructions on how to do so so he went downstairs. The employee was very rude to him as he told him tried calling downstairs and couldnt get thru. Maintenance was called to both our rooms. Neither one of our refrigerators had the knob to adjust the temp. And there was nothing they could do about it. Maintenance said they couldnt do anything about the ac in my sons room and brought them a box fan. My son and wife both have asthma as well as other health issues. But so do I so we couldnt just switch rooms which was a thought. Labor day weekend. Where were we going to find another hotel?!?! Well, luckily san luis next door had 2 rooms available so we packed up and went next door at about 1am. At about triple the price, but was well worth it for our comfort. Apparently, we packed up so fast we did leave behind a bag. I just figured my husband left it in the car when we unpacked at San luis. I never asked for it so my husband didnt think anything of it. When I unpacked on Tuesday I realized it wasnt here. I asked my husband when he got home about it and he also realized he hadnt seen it. So he called the hotel. Front desk said to call back after 9am to housekeeping. So he did and had to leave a message. He has since called 4 times leaving another message each time and still has not recieved a call back. We were able to get a refund on my sons room but not for ours. At this point I dont even care as long as my child was taken care of. Im sorry but I wasnt going to make my son pack up and find another hotel at 1 am while we stayed at this hotel. So we paid for a hotel for 2 nights at holiday prices that we didnt even use. Will not be returning.

Nice and clean accommodations. Enjoyed having a balcony and view of the Gulf on my birthday. The pool was fun to swim in and lounge around too.

Clean rooms and a nice pool just across Seawall blvd and the beach. This one is much nicer than the Holiday Inn Express a bit farther south. Nearby activities: Being right on the beach, the hotel is centrally located next to shops, restaurants, nightlife, and, of course, the beach.
