Seems to be an authentic Honduran restaurant. Lots of packaged goods like chips and snacks and drinks that are imported. They even have clothes for sale. Large selection of licuados. It could be a lot cleaner the tables for dirty and the restrooms as well. The tortillas are homemade. Is the breakfast burritos or large and reasonably priced. There was a moderate wait and also a line. They completed the order and brought it to where was waiting instead of calling. It was decent customer service.

I have been in Galveston attending a reunion but there was nothing going on tonight so I needed to get dinner on my own. There are a lot of restaurants around but I wanted something a little different. In driving around I noticed that there are a couple of Honduran restaurants in town. I thought that would be right up my alley. This place wasnt too far from my hotel, so thats where I went. I have to say that I dont think they serve too many gringos. When I walked in the door the staff seemed to be a little confused and surprised that I wanted to eat there. Anyway, that was no real problem. The menu had a lot of different choices, but I stuck with something I knew. Maybe that was a little lame. I went with the carne asada. They also served it with type of sausage. Beans, rice, pico de gallo, and a little slice of cheese. There was also a cheese sauce served on the side. I thought everything was superb. The meat was on the tough end, which might bother some, but not me. Very tasty. The older abuelita-appearing woman who waited on me may very well have been the owner, who was probably also the owner. She was also the cashier. Anyway, there was a fair amount of pointing due to the language issue, but everything worked fine. It appears they charge an extra $1 for credit card use (so I paid cash). Highly recommended if you are looking for something a little different. Parking: This was memorial Day weekend but I had no trouble finding a very close parking spot on the street. This place is not in a busy neighborhood.

The food is SO delicious. Definitely brush up on your Spanish because they don t speak English and the language barrier can be conflated as rude. As soon as we started speaking (terrible awful broken) Spanish they perked up and we were all happy :) The fish was perfect and the papusas were some of the best we ve had. Highly recommend this little hole in the wall!

I was casually passing by this restaurant. I am Salvadoran, but I saw the sign that said, El Sazón Katracho at that moment I was hungry! I couldnt resist the temptation to stop by and eat breakfast, to try it . I ordered some Pupusas and a mango smoothie. The Pupusas were very delicious. I honestly didnt like the smoothie very much. It looks delicious, but it didnt taste like anything. I thought they made the blender with natural fruits thats why I ordered it. The girl told me that they use a powder sachet. I only drank half since it was a drink anyway . No one ever came to ask me if I had a job or anything like that. The place is very small, there is no place to park. Im going back another day to try the rest of the food, see you soon!!

I was a customer at this restaurant, I thought the food was good, until a piece of yellow plastic bag came out inside my bag. The waitress didnt even flinch and my partner didnt finish eating his shrimp dish because he was disgusted by the situation. I have already lost all confidence in this restaurant and its hygiene. It is also not safe to see employees drinking beer in the kitchen area.
