Capt. Mike with Corks and Croakers has done it again. We booked a couple weeks ago and had so much fun and caught so many fish. We had to do it again. Just as last trip. Capt. Mike was extremely helpful in helping us get the bites and improved our casting. We already had a bunch of fish from last trip. So we only kept some of the fish from this trip. Now we can t wait to go again.

We booked Captain Mike with Corks and Croakers April -17 and 4-19-2024 Captain Mike worked hard both days putting us on fish and he did not disappoint. The first day we caught three nice Resfish and three trout with 7 black drum we threw back and the second day we caught five very nice Redfish with four trout and I don t remember how many rat reds and black drum but we ran out of bait each day and had a fantastic day I highly recommend Captain Mike of Corks and Croakers Some photos attached

We had an amazing time with Capt. Mike from Corks and Croakers! He explained the process in great detail. He really helps you understand what you re doing and why you are doing it. It really helped us be more successful with getting the fish to bite and catching them. We caught trout redfish drum and sheapshead. Our family (4 kids, 12-4 yo + 2 adults) fished with Captain Steven Gremillion. We had an amazing experience. Steve moved the boat many times to find the fish and dolphins too. We each caught the biggest fish of our lives. The boat was perfect for our big group and gear was top notch. Steve was especially good with all our kids. He helped each of them reel in a 30+ lb fish. Wow! Such professionalism and fun from this team!!! We had Captain Alan and Captain Charles and split our teams up into two boats. We had the BEST morning on the water. We caught trout, red fish, drum & sheepshead. We were so happy with the entire experience. We treated customers to this event, and I would 100/10 recommend them for a business entertainment experience, but also for a day of fun with friends!! I have fished with Captain Mike Cybak many times over the years. The latest trip was July 2023. As is often the case, fish were caught on the first cast. On this trip, my friend and I limited out in slot reds even releasing three other slot reds and two bull reds. We also caught seven speckled trout, one of which was my personal best at 27 inches. Captain Mike always puts us on the fish! You will not regret booking a trip with Captain Mike of Corks and Croakers. My sons and I are planning a trip this fall!

1 star because I had to give 1. I know nothing about the other guides on this page, but Zane Starr is lazy and unreliable. I booked a trip with him a month in advance, communicated regularly, rented a house, got to the island and had him cancel on me less than 12 hours before our scheduled launch. His excuse? He couldnt find any bait. Give me a break! I understand a lot of people fish in the summer...thats why people are also willing to pay for a professional service!!! The worst part is this was a fishing trip for my kids. They were devastated!!! Found another guide, so itll be OK, but I wanted to warn others of this atrocity. The rest of these guys might be ok, but watch out for lazy Zane.

5 Stars all around. I was in Galveston from Dallas last weekend and was gifted a trip with Capt. Luis Martinez which landed on the final day of my trip. The days leading up to the guided trip, we went out on our own and struggled to catch because the conditions were rough with high winds. The night before the guided trip I almost cancelled so I could hit the road early, Im glad I didnt. Capt. Martinez was at the ramp bright and early ready to greet us and ready to hit the water. At this point only two of the initial 4 made the trip and the conditions were still quite windy. To cut a an already long story short we nailed some great looking specs through out our half day trip. Pole in hand the entire time, ready for the chomp, you knew it was coming. One after the other, bigger and bigger. Snagged a nice 24 spec with a fat belly on her. It was fun, the croaker didnt stand a chance, the specs were starving and hitting hard, it was nice to hear the drag run. Capt. Martinez made sure that we had all we needed. Ensured that our time was spent fishing and not worrying about anything else. I will be using him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking to find the fish. You wont be disappointed.

My wife and I used Capt Mike Cacciotte. He put us directly on the fish. Caught lots of speckled Trout, Sand Trout and a large Red. We drifted and had about 40 total. He was great to work with. Cpt. Will Fuller put us on the fish!. We planned for a family fishing trip after Thanksgiving and had a great time. The boat had plenty of room, all the gear was provided, and some advanced technology to find fish ! Cpt. I took my children; 11, 13, and 15, out with Capt. Alan this morning and right from the start he had us on fish. The kids boated big specks, many over 20 inches, the whole morning. Alan never got a chance to rest! He was also great at getting my kids to understand what they needed to do to catch more fish and I really appreciated the time he took to help me learn how to be a better fisherman too. Capt Mike Meza was great to say the least. He was excellent with my kids and showed them patience until they learned how to reel and cast on there own. We caught lots of fish that day. Way too many for me to bring home. We caught over 25 trout and 6 reds in about 3 hours. We are booking him again this summer. My 8 year old and 5 year old are ready as thier arms hurt from all the fish we caught. Definatly a TOP NOTCH guide and excellent for the kids.

I have used many fishing guides (both fresh and salt) over the years and can honestly say Capt. Mike Meza is the best Ive fished with. He is always prepared and goes the extra mile to get bait and have the boat ready to go when you arrive at the ramp. He works hard to put your party on fish but more importantly, he teaches and makes the trip enjoyable. He is also great with kids and keeps safety as his number one priority. He has extensive knowledge of the Galveston Bay complex and I have caught more fish (trout, flounder, reds and sheepshead) with him than any other guide. And only Capt. I have used Captain Zane on at least a half dozen trips, he always works very hard to get us a box of quality fish. He is very easy to get along with and loves to fish and I believe that is what makes the trips so much fun. I have fished with guides that teach nothing and go to the same spot all the time whether they are biting or not and our constantly watching the clock to go in. I highly reccomend using Zane as your guide as he always produces a good time on a very comfortable boat with great gear. I ve had the opportunity to fish with Captain Dean of Muckleroy s Guide Service since 2011. His vast knowledge of the Galveston Bay Complex and decades of fishing experience, make any trip with Captain Dean very memorable. Whether it s drifting or wading, live bait or artificial, I definitely have a blast catching fish and always hit the dock with more fishing knowledge than I came with. Captain Dean has a great deal of patience and professionalism which makes him an excellent choice when booking with kids, beginners, or the experienced fisherman. His 24ft Triton boat is smooth as silk and has plenty of room to fish. Some of my best speckled trout and redfish trips have been with Capt. Dean Muckleroy.

My name is George and I decided to take my wife and our son out with a guide to catch some trout & red fish. I did some research on different fishing guide services on the Internet. I found this website and it gave me such a variety of services, that I never looked at another site. I decided to go out with Capt. Alan from Topp Dogg Guide Service. We went out in August and fished with live croaker in East Bay. The weather was a little windy early and the fishing was slow. Capt. Alan said the wind would probably lay and the fishing would get better. Two hours went by and we had 5 fish in the cooler. Right around 9am the wind slowed and we moved to another spot. Capt. Alan knew exactly where to go, because we started catching some nice trout. It seemed like almost ever cast for awhile! We ended up with 25 trout, 1 red & 10 sand trout. We caught more fish, including a 3 ft. shark, but we let them go. I was very impressed with Capt. Alan. He turned our trip into a great memory. He really knows how to treat customers and teach them how to catch fish. I will see you soon Capt. Alan, your customer for life George.

I liked this fishing website, because it gives you different fishing guides to choose from. I wanted to book a bay trip fishing for speckled trout, so I booked a trip with Capt. Steven. He was very professional on the phone and answered all my questions. When it came to the day of the trip, we were very excited. The weather was good and when we got to the dock Capt. Steven was ready to go. The first thing I noticed was he had a nice roomy boat and nice rods & reels. Myself and my 2 best friends went out and we really had a great time. We caught lots of fish and by the end of the day we brought back 25 trout and 2 red fish. We did miss some, but I would have to say that this was the best fishing trip I have ever went on. Lots of fun and Capt. Steven was great. He will get all my business in the future. Thanks Capt. Steven!
