This shop was OK but the shop owner completely lied to me when I asked if there was a shop on island that stocked the larger ring gauges. He said something like I m it on this island . Found them the next day at his competitor just down the road. Lame. Character counts. (I won t be back.)

This place was beyond surprising. The moment you walk in the furniture, the atmosphere, and the people were spectacular. The furniture was cozy. There was TV there was a BYO situation. Fabulous selection of cigars with knowledgeable staff. I am quite frankly at a loss for words, when it comes to the outside deck. There s a deck overlooking the bay and the furnishings with docs where you can boat up and enjoy a cigar Truly a remarkable place. Now on my must stop every time we re on the island.

Hudson the Doberman is definitely rated 5/5 stars. He let me shake his paw and scratch behind his ears without complaint. The lounge was nice, too. Large variety of merch as well as the staff being super cool but Hudson was the highlight for me. 100% the goodest of boys :D

Looking for that place? This is it. You will feel welcome here. We found cigar prices that match or beat online box prices. Fully stocked walk in humidor even during Madri Gras. And what an outside! A Huge deck on the water with wicker and Adirondack chairs to watch the fog and fishermen roll in on a winter night. And if you are lucky, Jim will be working when you stop in. He is witty, wise, and funny. And yes, you can bring in your own choice of beverage. There are big screen TVs, leather lazy boys and sofas, a fireplace and of course great conversation. Honestly, we left feeling so much better than when we walked in.

I was planning on just perusing the selection and taking something home with me, but ended up buying a stick and smoking it on their back patio overlooking the water because how could I pass that up? Been there twice to pick up cigars on the go and each time theyve greeted me with respect and have given me top-notch service, as far as recommendations for cigars and explanations for cigars I didnt know about. Theres an older white gentleman there in this late 50s or 60s who was On-point with his description of a cigar that he recommended. It was such a great cigar I had a great mellow buzz from it (ok, I was High from it), I had to put it down halfway. I actually came back to thank him for my next visit, which was yesterday, but he wasnt there. So a bigger, much younger white guy sold me on another one--Yeah I bought it! Nevertheless had a great time after smoking tht first one he suggested weeks ago. The other guy yesterday was very helpful and knowledgeable also. Although a predominantly white -owned establishment, they seemed very welcoming of the races coming in to enjoy their establishment

The cigar shop on the island that is located around 61st Street is actually very nice prices of the cigars are very well priced they are not too high or too low they are reasonable the owner has very high extensive knowledge of the cigars in there I asked about one cigar that I wanted in particular and he did not have any in stock so they were on backorder but he gave me one that was a very comfortable and relatively of the same price for this particular shorty I was looking for and I havent smoked in a long time but I love them and he said to give them a try and so Im going to has everything you need in there you have a place to sit down and chill out relax smoke and its very nice very open and its a awesome run business so Im glad hes here so when I need cigars I can go right over there and grab what I want and I dont have to travel off the island which I am a boi by the way so and I am I would say somewhat of an amateur cigar smoker and I dont smoke as much as I used to but I still enjoy a fine cigar time and time again.

My husband, myself and a friend of ours visited Galveston Island for the first time this month and Galveston Island Cigar Lounge was definitely one of our favorite parts of our trip! Great humidor, great cigars and great atmosphere! We met many amazing people during our time spent here! We cant wait to come back!

This place was fantastic!! The store was the perfect atmosphere and just absolutely welcoming. I came in and was greeted immediately in the most kindest manner. As if I was family. I was allowed to shop with no rush or pressure. I was able to take it all in an enjoy just the visuals, inhale the wonders of what this cigar shop truly was. Great conversation with the owner and he invited me to see the dock behind the store, where you could sit outside, enjoy a cigar and be part of the beautiful ocean. I love this store and when I return to Galveston, I will be returning to this shop.
