Paola is my girl! Loved her and the food made me glad to be back home from my long journeys away. The shrimp tacos and onion rings made the rainy day that much better on the deck! My Chihuahuas loved the ice water bowl and I needed a pet friendly place to hang out on a warmer day. Ill see yall soon! Parking: Free! Lots of it!

We wanted somewhere great but less crowded than places on the seawall. Loved it. Great service by Joyce. Food came out fast, was hot and delicious. We started with peel and eat shrimp, and we shared 2 meals. Fish and chips and swiss mushroom burger w/onion rings, both were great and plenty. Today was my husbands birthday so we shared key lime pie, it was the best dessert I have ever eaten, NO KIDDING ! We have to come back to Galveston to visit Joyce and the key lime pie. Great place to chill make sure you have a margarita with the hot stuff instead of the salt around the rim !

Sable was a phenomenal host and server. She constantly made sure we were ok and was attentive to every need, drinks, food, everything, including the above and beyond shrimp allergy our daughter has (despite serving seafood obviously!). She made sure our daughters salad and wings were on separate cutting boards and prep areas. Now THAT is special. Delicious. Fun. Gorgeous sunset watching the dolphins feed in the channel. F this place. Waited over an hour for our food when only 10 people are here, and most just having drinks. Ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp with jalapeños and queso. Its not a grasshopper as you would expect but 6 small shrimp with cold jalapeños and cheese on the side. Was not the first time Ive been here, but certainly the last.

We have had our wetslip for several years now. The new management is doing excellent. Though we have loved it since our first day as a member. There is absolutely nothing like it on the island. Literally. Restaurant has gotten so much better, the seafood has never been so fresh. Love the chilled shrimp and the burgers are SO good! Ice cold beer is plentiful. Joyce and staff rock! Nice to see Melissa is still there. Raymond is great and will always go out of his way for you. Restrooms are clean. Super grateful for the yacht basin. It holds some of the bests memories my husband and I have made together and are ready to make some more this summer. HAPPY FISHING. B3

Little restaurant right on the water. You can tie your boat up at a slip. They have funny signs up all over. I have a few of them myself in my office, so I love their personality and humor also. We stopped here on our way home from vacation and were so extremely pleased with our experience that we (broke college students) left a $40 tip. Everything we tried was absolutely amazing. I would go as far to say that this was the best food I have ever had. I would drive the 3hrs down there just to eat the food and drive back home. The service was absolutely fantastic. Every employee we interacted with was over the top friendly and very helpful with anything and everything. I truly felt like I was making a friend when talking with the servers. This is hands down the best place I have ever eaten at. It was clean, beautiful view, not to loud, friendly, and sooooo good. I strongly recommend the fish tacos and the gator boudin egg roles however it was all great! Don t hesitate! Just go here! You won t regret it!

Beautiful marina views and a relaxing patio atmosphere. The Marina Bar & Grill is an excellent spot to take in views of the water and ships in the marina, have a drink, and enjoy some seafood. The shrimp tacos were delicious, and we all enjoyed the chips and queso, The kids especially loved watching a cruise ship come in to dock while we were eating. Service was friendly and attentive. A nice option away from the crowds for a relaxing, casual meal.

Today, I visited a place at 11:47, and throughout my visit, they kept informing us that the wait time was only 5 minutes, but they repeated this statement four or five times. In the end, the manager offered us free mail, but the lady at the front desk, who wore glasses, was incredibly rude to us. She acted as if we owed them something and seemed to expect us to demand free food. However, we didnt actually want free food; we just wanted our order. Despite waiting for over an hour and 20 minutes, we declined the free food because it felt like a waste of time. I dont understand why they have such an attitude when their wait times are significantly longer. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.

Limited menu, simple food, waterfront views, fairly clean. Nice, but real slow service. Unfortunately you can feel the tension in the restaurant due to the fact everyone is experiencing the same painful long wait for anything. Even worse if you have hungry kids. It was intriguing that the staff seemed surprised that everyone was complaining. The bartenders are not true bartenders. Be ready to guide them and they are happy to learn.

Ive visited MBG probably 9 times and left 3 of those times after waiting 20 minutes for a menu and water. This owner needs to either hire another wait person or follow the Coastal Grill model where patrons order at the counter and sit down. Back of the house is great... food has always been good. Front of the house needs work. I know its hard to get good servers in Galveston. Another reason to try and mostly eliminate them, if possible.

This is a great place to just relax, have a few drinks and enjoy the view. My son and I ordered the MBC platter and were pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything was. The boudin egg rolls were amazing. And the buffalo wings were great! My wife ordered the shrimp po boy and it had some of the best shrimp weve ever had on it. The staff is also very friendly.

This hidden gem tucked away on the East End sure has improved and offers amazing views of the harbor and cruise ships. I had not returned for a couple of years, even though I live a couple of blocks away. Promptly greeted and drink orders taken. My chicken sandwich was juicy and well seasoned. Went there after the beach, with our baby. We wanted a place to share some bites & drinks. We ordered the ultimate margaritas, and i swear it was just a margarita mix. No tequila at all. It was just sweet margarita mix. We also shared the gator bites, which were overcooked tough meat. Weve had better. We wanted to share a Poboy or fish tacos but the server said all their sauces had dairy, which aiolis are usually mayo based, not ranch/dairy based. So we asked for the check after that, it didnt seem worth $40 for 2 margs & the gator bites. Dietary restrictions: I called ahead of time to make sure their fried items didnt have dairy, but apparently all their sauces served with them do (i dont think they do, but the server didnt seem to want to ask)

There are excellent views of the harbor from the little place. It was a little hard to find but was cozy and comfortable. Despite the 100 degree temperature the covered deck was breezy - fans and a portable A/C made it bearable. Drinks were on point. Sunset was amazing! Server was friendly and quick with service. There is no indoor seating so pick a cooler evening to enjoy this spot. **UPDATE** went back and was disappointed. The deck needs power washed. Monthly. Its gross and coated with black dirt that tracks right to the kitchen which says a lot about whats behind that door. Bugs are awful. Wer long pants and long sleeves to avoid mosquitoes good luck with flies they landed on the food so much we quit eating and went elsewhere, at least it wasnt expensive.. Hard pass on this place until things improve.

Without telling you anything when the bill comes and you are charged a few for not using a cash transaction and you get charged an alcohol tax. Suddenly a 45 dollar bill turns into a 65 dollar bill before you ever even leave a tip. Not to mention the normal happy hours are 3-7 but during spring break no happy hour but no signs nothing on website says anything. Without happy hour now a 30 dollar bill is 65 .bad bad business. Dont try fooling the public. The public and their friends and these types reviews will make you wish you didnt

Relaxed atmosphere, kind of in a hard to get to spot if you dont know where youre going. Food was good. Seagulls were wild and fun to feed off the side of the deck/balcony. Not busy

Great little place off the beaten path, service was great and the view was too, it s open air and breezy up on the second level, to my surprise we went there on steak night and I had a tasty ribeye with Parmesan fries and a salad for 19 bucks. You can t eat much better than that for the money.

Beautiful view of the marina. Everyone found something they enjoyed, the sample platter was delicious. I enjoyed my blacken fish tacos, my husband got the Philly cheese steak and the kids enjoy the gator bites. They are also pet friendly, our server was great.

Dont Miss this gem! Like the others have said, and more. We also launched our kayaks from the boat ramp (standard ramp use fee, $25 paid at the bait shop next door)n paddled around. Theres a dolphin cow n calf cruising the harbor, too (4th of July). Good music, great food, excellent atmosphere, stellar people watching n boat watching. I had the grilled shrimp basket, hubby had shrimp tacos.

Got there after we got seated they told us that they ran out of food. Try to come back again today cuz its a beautiful spot. They wait for us to be seated again and to bring drinks before they tell us that their fryer is out. Horrible experience would not recommend.

Food was very good, Service was very good, Very Clean. Great view. I was just looking for place to grab lunch and hang out while waiting to pick up my tourist. It seemed a little too expensive for that. But I would recommend it as a place to have a good meal and relax. Ill most likely go back.

We have been here quite a few times and it never disappoints. My favorite is the beer battered shrimp or fish & chips. Great drink selection and the food is always fresh. It is nice to watch as the new cruise terminal progress happens and watch as boats come in!
