The wait was 45 minutes and while the atmosphere seemed fun and service was great, the food here is overpriced and doesnt meet the bare minimum expectations. Seafood pasta dish, Pescatore was $33 and a total disappointment. Ive made better dishes at home with basic pasta sauce from the supermarket. We also tried Fishermans Seafood Platter (another overpriced disappointment)and the Shrimp Po-Boy which was simple but delicious. The buns werent the best but the shrimp were delicious. We also sat outside by the waterfront with a view to the docks unfortunately there were many mosquitos and made it a little uncomfortable while trying to enjoy our dinner.

Wife and I enjoyed a great dinner after riding on the ferry boats. I had a sampler plate that I believe was the fisherman platter; it had shrimp kisses, crab cakes, fish and rice pilaf with vegetables. My wife had the salmon plate which also has vegetables and rice pilaf. We have a tradition where this is one of three restaurants we visit while in town. The staff is great and always friendly.

Fisherman s Wharf was a great meal to end the trip in Galveston! We got there before sunset so got to experience that and watch the dolphins. I ordered the market sampler with the shrimp kisses being my favorite. The fish filet and crab cakes were also good, and get the shrimp skewer as blackened shrimp. I ordered the Pier 22 drink without the melon liqueur which is the way to go. Enjoyable evening here!!

Its been years since Ive been able to get fresh seafood (no oceans in Kansas, yall, its a definite drawback), and their stuffed tilapia was absolutely worth the wait. 10/10, would visit again. Kid-friendliness: They have a great kids menu, zero complaints from my kids (a teen and a tween).

I am reviewing on behalf of my husband. He dined here tonight with his family and really enjoyed the food, thought it was fantastic and fresh. However, he found a metal wire from a metal wire grill brush while chewing. Luckily he did not swallow it, but it did jab his gum. When this piece of metal in the food was shown to the waiter, the manager was then brought over. The manager, who confirmed the metal was from a grill brush, offered to comp some dessert, but that was declined due to fullness. From that point, the manager then only comped $10 from the total bill, not even the cost of the contaminated meal. Metal wires from grill brushes are incredibly dangerous and can cause severe bodily injury or even death due to organ puncture. It s incredibly lucky that my husband did not swallow the thin piece of metal. No matter how good my husband and his family found the food to be, any positive feeling toward this establishment has been absolved due to the lack of professionalism and, quite frankly, care from the manager. I d like to think that my husband s life is worth more than a $10 comp on a meal. Quite shameful. Be careful while eating here, you might not be as lucky.

Definitely some of the best seafood I have ever had! Tastes so fresh. The dishes are tasty and fun (the shrimp kisses were delicious and still make my fiancé giggle). We ordered the fried shrimp and stuffed shrimp, the famous fish sandwich, the Galveston trio. We had a couple of drinks as well while we waited for a table and they were also delicious! Get the root beer bread pudding: it was so smooth, had the taste of root beer without being strange, and the sauce was the best The presentation is also very cute too. Parking: There were 3 lots to park in, but on a busy day you might have to drive around a few times to find a spot. The restaurant will validate your parking, just remember to ask. Also, do not let your parking ticket get wet, it wont be able to be read by the machine in the lot.

It was alright. I got raw oysters and the grilled redfish topped with jumbo lump crab in a lobster cream sauce. #1 Oysters were sooo fresh and you can tell their water had been properly cycled. #2 main dish size was not worth the price #3 I think they were afraid to use seasonings .... Even down to simple salt and pepper. There was nothing at all on the sauteed veggies the rice was crazy bland, and they were rather skimpy on the lobster cream sauce which really was just butter. Dont get me wrong, the food was okay. It was just underwhelming considering the hype around it and the price of it .... The saving grace was the service! Everyone was so happy and eager to please!

It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review. It s just not something I do but the food was just so bad. The cost was ridiculous. Hopefully this will help another family not waste their money. My family and I eat here yesterday. Party of 4. Cost approx. 214$. This was suppose to be a special treat for my son s birthday. The best thing about the experience was the waitress. Portions were small. We all had fish and none of us finished our plates. The food had no flavor and was missing the sauce on 3 of the dishes. The plates resembled a bland dish you would get from Luby s but it cost 4 times the price. Sides were as bad as the fish. Vegetables were cut in all different sizes which resulted in some of them being overcooked and others were raw. My husband asked for capers to be added. His plate was covered in capers that obviously never touched a skillet. We were sitting near the expo. I saw a staff person drop the silverware holder on the floor. Picked it up from the floor and proceed to put silverware in it. The experience just went from bad to worse. It s all kind of sad actually. We had high hopes for this place. We had a great dinner after about an hour wait. We sat on the pier, and the view and fresh air was great. Our server and service were also beautifully done. We enjoyed the seafood plater and blackend shrimp queso. The queso was delicious and had a good amount of shrimp in it. The plater was also really good, but juat did not quite live up to my expectation for flavor. But its definantly worth the visit.

I could say that it was a bad experience deciding to go to this restaurant since the host on duty looks like Sargentona, has no charisma and does not know good customer service. Unfortunately we did not arrive on time at the time of our reservation which I think she was upset about despite having called we would not arrive on time we requested outside because we love to enjoy the beautiful view but the weather was so warm that we decided to go inside , the very unfriendly Host said that we had to wait which was obvious, and gave us a table that we finally didnt like either. She at no time showed herself with the intention of pleasing us, but on the contrary, very serious and her way of expressing herself is not appropriate for that position. The food was very delicious and saves the bad experience with that lady the server who was very nice and pleasant although despite having the restaurant membership I dont think I will return.

About five minutes later the dog pooped right next to the leg of my chair and lady at the table thought it was funny. She picked it up with a bag placed it under the table and washed it with her water. I think this restaurant should have a designated area for people with service animals.

I had the salmon, vegetables and potatoes. Everything was salty and quite drenched in either water or oil. For the pices, the quality of food could definitely be better. The service was great nonetheless and everyone seemed kind. Great view as well! My husband had calamari which he said was too oil with the breading falling off. This is a very pretty atmosphere with subpar food. I give it grace tho, because every cook is different and has a way they season things. Maybe we just came on a rough day. After all, it was a few days after a hurricane and I understand if it was just THIS timing. I wouldve loved to keep coming back. But the pricing once again, is just a little steep for food that I can cook better at home.

My flounder had a significant number of bones in it, which they did offer to switch out for a different entre. The crab cakes were good, but again we found cartilage in them. For $30 crab cakes, I expect them to be pretty good. We sat outside and towards the end of the meal, we kept getting bit by bugs because there was no method of pest control (candles, fans, etc). We spent most of the meal with empty water glasses because it was hard to grab our server.

Food was kind of underwhelming for the price. Oyster was okay Steak was way undercooked. I asked for medium rare, it was just raw. The waitress took it back to cook it longer. When it comes back, it was still kind of rare. But I didn t ask again. I know they were closing. The waitress was very nice and helpful though. We enjoyed her hospitality. Cocktail was okay Crab was good. Dessert was good. Nothing really stood out to us. Overall it s just a restaurant with nice views, and very pricey.

This is the best restaurant in town! The food is amazing. The veiw is even better! And when they say dont feed the birds. Trust me. Dont! they swarm on the place like a band if pirates! Speaking of there is a giant pirate ship next to the restaurant. Its not really a pirate ship, but its the next best thing.

We made a reservation online for inside and we were sat outside. This was fine. We order the red snapper, it was good, the bread was warm, and the ultimate crab cake and the kids split a tilapia plate . I found my crab cake a little over salted but maybe because I eat with less salt than most people. Nothing was bad just nothing overly great. Everything was good. Parking was about 7 bucks a hour when this was made.

The ambience is good. Reservations are needed as the place is usually crowded. It seemed bit over priced but it is worth. You can choose a seat which has a good view of the sea. We surprisingly saw a dolphin swimming around at the time we were having lunch and it is a rare appearance. Can visit for experience.

The food was okay for the price. I wear very surprised with how good their steak tasted although we mainly had their seafood options including the red snapper. The service left much to be desired. Unfortunately, I cannot remember her name but she was a blonde younger girl who waited on us in the back outside seating area. She had a bit of a negative attitude as if she had something better to do than to help us.

Were in the harbor area for lunchtime and picked this place. Enjoyed a fried seafood platter, which was very good. It included shrimp kisses (bacon-wrapped shrimp), oysters and crab cake as well as fries and cole slaw). Pleasant atmosphere. Server was friendly and attentive. If you eat outside (patio) you have a good view of the harbor (opted to dine in with A/C, ha). Good experience here.

This was our second time coming here, in the last two years and not much has changed, because everything was spectacular! Our waitress was Danielle and she was super attentive and friendly and made sure both my son and I were given the BEST treatment at the restaurant! From start to finish and in the blistering humidity of the outside, the service never stopped being short of amazing. The food was flavorful as always. We will come back next year! Thank you so much!

Loved the atmosphere and look of the restaurant. Our server was excellent. I want to say her name was Alexis, but I could be wrong. She offered to bring my daughter s meal when she brought my soup, which was so appreciated. The lobster bisque was amazing and the highlight of the meal. They bring you hot fresh bread , but the bread was warm on half the bun and cold and hard on the other. I got the snapper with lump crab and lemon butter sauce, but I didn t notice any sauce. It just looked like crab dumped on the fish. It was still tasty, but lacked flavor and lemon butter. Parking: Parking was outrageous. $13 for an hour Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu. Loved that our server offered to bring my daughter s meal with my soup.

First visit was great. They have a delicious crab cake. Second visit not as great. The red snapper was overcooked and so dry. Still edible. The lump crab topper was just okay. I thought it was supposed to be tossed in a butter sauce but could barely tell it was there. More sauce wouldve helped the dry fish. Service was good. They did accommodate my low carb swap requests. The spinach was delicious! Squash needed seasoning. Loved the water views. Will go back. Third times a charm?

We had a reservation for noon for a party of three. We arrived on time but found no receptionist to greet us for the first few minutes. Eventually, we were greeted and escorted to our outdoor table. Unfortunately, we had to wait another 10 minutes or so before anyone attended to us. It seemed no one was assigned to our table initially. Luckily, a crew member with curly hair in a ponytail noticed us and promptly came over to assist. Her attentiveness and efficiency were greatly appreciated, especially since we were quite hungry. She ensured we received our drinks and food promptly. We ordered the Fish Market Platter (grilled), the Shrimp Combo, Calamari, and a Shrimp Kids Meal. The portions were generous and the seasoning was decent while the taste wasn t exceptional, it wasn t bad either. Overall, we had a good lunch, though the initial wait did detract from the experience. Dietary restrictions: Were allergic to peanut and called ahead of our reservation and got a confirmation that its safe to eat. Parking: We were parked at paid parkung lot but the restaurant got it validated, free parking for 3 hours.

We sat by the window looking at the ship. Great service. They accommodated my food restrictions which is hard to do! I brought my own food but didnt need it! My husband enjoyed his seafood. Nice casual place to end our anniversary weekend as we headed out of town. Dietary restrictions: I told them about my vet extensive autoimmune protocol (AIP) restrictions and they were able to accommodate! This was the only place in town that we found with mixed veg. Extensive menu so youre likely to find something, and ask them to adjust for you They use actual olive oil, too! Not sure if they use it exclusively over seed oils, but they at least have it and were able to use for my food.

I ordered the steak and shrimp. The steak was trash. Medium rare... A little overdone, but I can roll with it.... Take a bite, and it was SO DRY. zero flavor. Shrimp were okay, but its fried shrimp.... Cmon. Dietary restrictions: They absolutely took the time to inquire about food allergies. I dont have any, but its cool that they asked.
