I have been ordering from Roll & Poke for months and each time I have received such consistent and good sushi!! I usually order close to closing and the quality and service is still unmatched. I attached a photo of my most recent order. I can t stand avocado and asked them to replace the avocado with whatever green they thought fit best (mind you I ordered through DoorDash) and they did it and exceeded all my expectations! This has been my favorite California roll and the only way I will order it from anywhere for now on. I have ordered from here about 8+ times and each time the quality and taste has been consistently good and they have made me a customer for life. Thank you for all your hard work!! I always recommend to my friends. 2 quality rolls for under $22 is always s deal to me.

Came here for the first time to have sushi. The sushi was okkkkk . The worst part was the customer service. The girl at the cashier young girl had the worst attitude like we owed her. When you come to a restaurant with your hard work money you should get a good costumer service. She was very rude terrible service. She didn t even offer to bring our food to our table. NEVER EVER AGAIN GOING TO THIS PLACE. TERRIBLE WORST SERVICE EVER.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I ordered a crazy boy roll and it was disgusting. I felt like I was eating fried mushy avocado with cheap crab sticks. Not only was the roll bad but I was served (for here) on half of a styrofoam lid and the spicy mayo that was supposed to be on top was squirted in the corner and enough for about one piece.

I visited on the recommendation of a local while traveling in the United States. Roll Poke is very fresh and very delicious The owner and employees are Korean. Even if you don t speak English, you can confidently order. The kids ate chicken teriyaki. There are plenty of childrens menus so you can eat out as a family. Good service, miso soup is delicious The inside of the restaurant is clean, the owner and staff are friendly, and I really want to eat there again. If I go to Texas again someday, the first thing I will do is Im going to visit

First the quality- its borderline inedible. Very very cheap. The minced crab/imitation crab mix is worse than grocery store sushi. My review from over 5 years ago is shown under the dashes at the bottom. I had to edit it because the customer service in this place is terrible now at times. Only the owner is very nice. I had 2 incidents in the last year+ and they have a lot to learn about the customer is always right. They have free miso soup (if you dine in), but the pot where you help yourself to it is almost always empty, conveniently. We were 5 people, one of the kids was an international student who doesnt speak English well. There was not enough soup for all 5, so I gave mine to him. Later on, we got our food and eventually the free miso soup pot got a bit refilled - note they barely add any, just about 3 inches from the bottom, a few customers and they are out again. So the student went and got what seemed like a second serving. Thete is a handwritten sign next to the pot that says only 1 per customer. He didnt see it and I was busy putting the tables back that we had moved and didnt notice. The lady working there started calling my attention that its not allowed, only 1 per customer. I told her there was not enough when we arrived before so this was technically a 1st serving. Mind I go there at least once or twice a month, they know me, and I had just spent $150 in food for us all. You are really going to pick on me for an extra laddle of miso soup??? And I even left a tip while you are not taking the food to the table or waiting on me at all. And this is not the first time. Another time, they forgot to put a 2nd scoop of fish in my Poke, and I saw it when I got home as it was a to go order. I called, and they said they would give me $2.50 for the scoop. Again really? A $13.50 dish consisting of salad and 2 scoops of fish, you forget to put the 1 scoop of fish and I have to drive 15mn back to get $2.50 back? You should have apologized and given me a free Poke bowl. Thats what good customer service looks like and what they would have done in other places. Time to find a new Poke place after over 5 years of loyalty, just for a soup. Ridiculous and sad. The food is good though. =========== Favorite (and best IMHO) Poke in north Plano/Frisco area. Sushi is great too. While its a no frills place, its always very clean, staff is supernice and food is delish. I have tried most Poke places in the area, and this is by far the best.

Once my payment was taken, she asked me to stay in place and she will bring my order to me. She provide no utilities, once I walked back in the restaurant asking for napkins and forks . She immediately responded that they didn t have napkins without me having a chance to fill completely my question. The napkins we staring right before my eyes behind the glass. I asked her for to go menu. I was interested in ordering through doors dash in the future , this woman wanted to me to leave the store immediately. This is a trusty local poke place.. someday Ill remember to try the rolls. Their standard toppings are more than what other poke places offer and are often included in the cost. One small thing I appreciate is that you can make special requests in the delivery app, e.g. sauce on the side. FYI poke is delivered in those flap top to-go boxes and is at risk of some spillage depending on your delivery driver. If youre dining in, the self-serve/free miso soup is a definite plus. Interior is clean with ample seating. Service tends to be speedy which works out when Im in a bit of a rush. However, one thing that bums me out is their very heavy use of single use plastics. Several years ago their dine-in food was served on normal dishware- now everything used is either plastic or styrofoam. They dont do full table service so Im guessing the idea is to prevent utensils and bowls being accidentally thrown out and/or streamlining operations by not having to wash stuff, but a bummer nonetheless.

After eating here for several years now my wife and I have decided to find another poke restaurant. 1. last night at 7:30pm we arrived only to have the cashier tell us they close at 8pm. If you want to leave early then change your hours. 2. Again last night they were out of soup and since it was 7:30 they werent going to provide any soup. When I asked I was not even offered an apology. 3. Soup has been out several of our recent visits. They use to keep plenty in the serving bowl and the past year plus have kept a bare minimum. 4. The stores glamour photos show actual bowls...the reality is you will be served in a styrofoam to go container. Last night it was a cut in half to go container. Lovely. 5. When we first started eating here I was introduced through my cycling club. We enjoyed poke and a beer, shortly thereafter they didnt renew their liquor license so our cycling club stopped as patrons. Since they cant be bothered to properly serve us 30 minutes prior to closing, consistently provide the complimentary soup or serve us with a decent bowl...well we can move on. -

The couple behind me got plastic cups for the fountain drink. I have to say this is one of the best spot for poke I had in Plano. Their menu has a lot of options, all of them look amazing! The ingredients are very fresh and tasty. We got a create your own bowl and a ceviche sashimi. Both are super delicious. The service is fast as well. You can either dine in or takeout. They have many tables and a water station if you decide to eat here. I definitely will come back to try more dishes.

Walked into Roll and Poke at 7:52pm on Sunday. Per the door, their hours are until 8pm on Sundays. We were refused service, not even for take out! All 5 employees behind the counter just pretended to ignore us. Ive consistently spend $30-$70 per week here, and this is extremely disappointing. I recommend finding a different Poke place that actually cares about its loyal customers!

Amazingly good, decent price, unpretentious atmosphere. Poke is very similar to some churashi bowls at Japanese restaurants. First time trying a Tampa roll and it was really tasty. Well definitely try again and go back. Oh and free self-serve miso soup

Such good poke but the free miso was the turning point to become make it a special place. My bf thought the poke mix tasted too artificial but I thought it tasted fine.

We came on a Tuesday night and ordered poke bowls. We each got the 3-protein bowl and it was made exactly how we ordered them. We have been eating poke bowls a lot recently and Roll and Poke is our favorite so far. They gave us a generous portion of protein and our bowls were fresh and delicious! This place will be our new regular spot for poke bowls.

See some bad reviews, but have not run into any of those problems. I come in here for a quick post workout meal a couple times a week. Service is always nice. I havent noticed any weird odor. They give complimentary miso soup, which has been a life saver during these cold months. I can only comment on the poke bowls, but I really like them.

This is an awful sushi place. Dirty, restroom looks like wasn t cleaned for weeks. They missed 1 item from the order. It s the worst sushi place I ve been in Frisco. I don t know how they get 4.7 stars, but it s pretty bad. Sushi is ok though, have to admit this. Just pay 10-15 dollars more and you ll be able to have a dinner in a much better sushi restaurant. Never again.

Horrible horrible sour smell like rotten eggs or trash. Was literally served 70 dollars (4 rolls) worth of rolls on Dixie paper plates. Food was not worth the money dont order the fried rolls because all you can taste is fried oil. Employee walked right passed us with full trash bag. No tables were cleaned after patrons left and others sat down. Rolls fell apart! The one star is only for the friendly staff.

It s difficult to find a good sushi spot in the Plano/Frisco area. We took a chance at the beginning of the covid lockdown to support a local business. Glad we did because we were pleasantly surprised! They have good tempura and creative tasty rolls. I like that they don t pack a ton of rice in their rolls and they don t overuse imitation crab. There is imitation crab in some of their rolls but not all. It s typically used as an inexpensive filler at other sushi places. One of my favorite rolls is the Crazy Salmon Roll. It s fresh, delicious and pretty to look at. I thought the poke bowl was just okay maybe it s because I was just excited to finally find some good sushi rolls. We ve only ever gotten takeout there but we don t do it often. We would if they used more earth friendly recyclable takeout packaging instead of tons of styrofoam containers.

Went with family for dinner. Didnt disappoint, didnt amaze. With quite the variety of baked sushi rolls, tempura rolls, and just your average sushi rolls, Roll & Poke seems like something you could have catering a feast. Dont be deceived. Ok, that was a bit dramatic.. The sushi was pretty good, but dont go out of your way for it The free miso soup machine was out of order. With relatively low prices and comfortable seating, I recommend Roll & Poke to those ONLY in the nearby vicinity.

Still my favorite! I used to come here all the time a couple of years ago when I lived/worked in the area. But we moved so I hadnt been in a long time. We were in the area last weekend so we stopped by and they are STILL so good! My favorite poke place in DFW by far. I just wish I was closer to it. Raw fish is usually my favorite but I honestly think the reason I like this place so much is their cooked scallops. They add such a great flavor and texture to the bowl. Glad to see them still going after lock down!

I got a Poke bowl and two sushi rolls for $24. Additionally they serve free miso soup with a purchase of course.. This place has good grade sushi for a decent price. My only concern about this place is they use green onions quite a bit mixed in with there sushi. I love green onions so it doesnt bother me but it is concerning as green onions are potent and cover up any fishy taste. None the less I thought it was fantastic and will definitely be going back.
