Hands down the best pizza I ve had outside of NY and NJ, in this area. AMAZING staff and service too! The prices are also great. At the time of this review, you can get two cheese slices and a drink for 7 bucks. Lunch for $7 in Frisco is almost unheard of nowadays, especially given the quality of the pizza. Not to mention, you get to eat your meal either inside or on their patio, both of which are beautiful. The only thing I could possibly suggest is please consider serving single slices all day! Would love to stop by and grab a slice or two outside of lunch hours :) Overall, phenomenal pizza (again, the best I ve had outside of NJ&NY in this area), very friendly and polite staff, and great atmosphere inside and out on the patio. Will definitely be coming back!!!

Always trying new pizza places. Found Halo online. Went for a late lunch. The service was excellent. Ordered the Fried cheese puffs. They were delicious, crispy not greasy. The order was a hefty portion. Then we ordered a 1/2 Hawaiian and 1/2 Pepperoni. The crust had just the right thickness. Perfect amount of toppings. The bottom crust was crispy. Not at all soggy. All and all we were very happy with the entire meal. Will definitely return.

My family and I had a terrible experience at Halo pizzeria today. We arrived at 8:25 PM, where restaurant closes at 9PM Despite the late hour, we were hoping to enjoy a quick meal. However, our experience was far from pleasant. Upon arrival, we struggled to settle our 1.5-year-old toddler into a high chair. The chairs lacked proper safety belts, making it difficult to secure our child. Once we finally got settled, a waitress approached us at 8:30 PM and immediately asked us to order. We hadnt even had a chance to look at the menu, and requested a few minutes to review our options. To our dismay, the waitress informed us that the kitchen will be closed. We repeated our request several times, but were met with the same dismissive response. Feeling frustrated and disappointed, we had no choice but to leave the restaurant empty-handed. The waitresss lack of understanding and unwillingness to accommodate our needs was extremely disappointing. We will not be returning to this establishment in the future and would advise others to avoid it as well.

Had dinner tonight at Halo Pizzeria. My wife had The Heritage on a GF crust and mine was the El Toro BBQ Chicken. Both were outstanding, had very fresh ingredients and were served right out of the oven. Weve been looking for a pizza place that does GF right and has great crust. We found it at Halo. The owner Hugo is very pleasant and is focused on making sure that his guests have an excellent dining experience. As well, our waiter and the other staff members were friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean, comfortable and has a large patio which will be a great in the fall. They are located in a relatively new development with plenty of parking We will definitely be back. Updated review and giving the business the benefit of the doubt it was packing, even though they were baked into the cheese. Will try again as the owners are very good with the community. Q3 2024: In our last 3 visit for carry out during lunch time, the service has deteriorated. In one of the occasions, 3 staff members were there just chatting and ignored us until a server came out from the back and assisted us. The other two times, the staff were just apathetic. The service for our sit down visit prior to our latest experience was good. The NYC style pizza was very tasty. The miramonte meatlover had a crispy, slight chew and thin crust topped with slight charred meat and touch of tomatoes sauce. It even pass the leftover pizza test. The restaurant also have pretty unique soda fountain with drinks made of real sugar. Good selection of beers and other drinks. Also, the service has been outstanding. Looking forward to their full menu and hopefully the inclusion of some Indian flavors options. Tip: dine in of you can. The pizza taste so much better when is pipping hot right out of the oven. The environment is very chill, spacious and overall comfortable.

We have had their pizza a few times and today we added the meatballs and a side salad. Their food is amazing!!! Learned about them from the Professional Black Belt Academy-Frisco and soooo glad we did!!! We live in Wylie but have to say that this is the BEST pizza I think we have ever had to date and we love the perfect thin crust!!! Soooo much flavor!!! We were so full we are taking our tiramisu dessert home with us for later. Parking: Beautiful parking lot with plenty of space. We are very picky with pizza from the ingredients used to the oven. Hands down this place is awesome! True NY style pizza! Crust is perfection! Mozzarella is high quality! Wings were great, salads fresh. We went over from prosper and will definitely be back! The dining room was a bit bright with all the windows so we will get takeout next time but overall good personal preference . Only thing we would recommend is they add a reach in cooler with canned coke products as an option for people that don t like the fountain soda options.

Update (7/9/2024): Weve been back probably 6-8 times since my last review when they first opened. As promised, I gave them a chance. Glad I did, Halo has really grown into themselves. Honestly one of the best pizzas in town. They got the consistency down, the food down, and the service as of late hasnt just been good, its been memorable. Everyone is on it, and theyre all so sweet and welcoming. Awesome job yall, love having you in the neighborhood. Was super excited about Halo Pizzeria since we live in Miramonte. Weve been twice now. Obviously going through growing pains - the staff isnt very knowledgeable and the process overall is kinda weird. They dont really talk to you, they direct you to an app and you figure it out. The food is good and I expect itll get better. The pizza was totally different each time we went. The house made sauces are great. Goat cheese salad had almost no goat cheese. Give them a chance and contribute to the community though, you can tell theyre trying.

On a recent visit, my family and I walked in. We were greeted by a young woman who wasn t friendly and didn t smile. The server stopped by to take our drink orders but forgot to give them to us; we need to go over to him while he was talking with other staff members by the kitchen rather than paying attention to us. I picked up a pizza here tonight, cheese with cup-and-char pepperoni. It was excellent. I like my pizza simple; if it needs a lot of toppings for flavor, it s not a good pizza. If you haven t tried cup and char, you should. I was impressed that the crust was slightly browned, not overcooked. It was cooked perfectly. The texture and flavor impressed. We just had an end of the year baseball party here with a bunch of 5 year olds. They knew we were coming but a group of young kids is always chaos and the restaurant was very accomodating. Staff worked hard to get us all set up with enough seats and were quick to get cups and water for the kiddos. Pizza was great! Slices are large and filled the kiddos up. Bonus was they had an outdoor space where the older siblings went to play corn hole. Great experience and appreciate them managing a large group of kids so well. Thank you!!

We came in from San Antonio to visit relatives and we heard the Halo Pizzeria was a great restaurant! It did not disappoint and the Teriyaki wings and sausage pizza were outstanding. Love the open concept and patio, it s great for families! The food has always been amazing, and I love that you can 1/2 and 1/2 pizzas so you can try more than one type. The wings are massive and the homemade ranch is *chefs kiss*. The local sodas are great too, try the huckleberry!

The pizza is delicious, the restaurant has a welcoming ambiance, is clean and is a comfortable place to spend time with friends or family. Halo offers a wide variety of topping choices as well as options for those with dietary sensitivities. What truly sets Halo apart is Kari, the manager, it is evident she cares about the community and the restaurant. She is personable and I enjoy her quick whit.

Ordered a gluten free Buffalo chicken pizza for my mom. It showed up with breaded fried chicken - not gluten free. When I called about it, I was offered a $10 gift card of I came and picked it up and (in summary) told to take ownership of ordering with an allergy and call to confirm that gluten free means gluten free. Also, the regular pizza we ordered was supremely mediocre.

I got the El Toro BBQ Pizza and Tiramisu to take home. The pizza was good, as usual, but the chicken was scarce. It did have a lot of sausage on it, though. The tiramisu had a decent taste but was soggy. Only speculation, but it was almost as if it had maybe been frozen and thawed. The bartender, Hunter, assured me that it was made in the restaurant and not shipped in. Hunter did a great job keeping my glass full while I waited on my order to be completed.

Great little pizza place we were introduced to through a school fundraiser. Our servers were great had a couple stop by and check on us. Open air atmosphere is nice but loud I think a big group would be hard to hear. Pizza was DELICIOUS!! Got the meat one and loved the pepperonis and the way they chopped up the Canadian bacon. Started with pizza rolls and the marinara sauce was so tasty. It s not close but would definitely stop by again if in the area.

I have to say this place has some of the friendly staff Ive ever met at a restaurant. Everyone was super friendly and attentive. I think the owner was there too or an enthusiastic manager helping everywhere and greeting guests. The food was really good too but its a place you just feel good being there.

We ordered pizza for delivery so I can t speak on service or atmosphere, however, the pizza was bomb. We had 3 different 18 pizzas and all of them were so good. Our fav was either the meat lovers or BYO evoo pizza with grilled chicken and artichokes. Will definitely order from here again!

Ordering at the counter and we asked for ranch with our pizza - pizza came out and it was 10/15 minutes with no ranch. After asking . We were told it was being mixed in the back which we were okay with but did not understand why we were not told the ranch was not ready when we ordered. When it finally came our pizza was beyond cold - I had to ask for a reheat or new pizza and was asked which I preferred We didn t want to be difficult so I requested a reheat . Which was more waiting time Talking to our waiter about our frustrations - he pushed back putting the responsibility on his manager. Beyond terrible service and the pizza flavor and taste did not outweigh the negative experience. The manager stated that he would comp us but we paid up front at the counter so we have zero confirmation of that. Also noting - The area advertised for the kids is not true To pictures at all.

Love this great local spot! It was busy for a weeknight but we still had prompt and friendly service, they played great music inside and it wasnt so loud that you couldnt hold a conversation! My picky kiddo ate all her food and even tried desert. Will definitely be back for Happy Hour and cant wait to try sitting on the patio as it looks like a great space too. Parking: Large parking lot with plenty of spots nearby. Kid-friendliness: My kids loved being able to see the guys make pizzas in the kitchen. The patio has open space surrounding it for kids to run and stretch their legs. Wheelchair accessibility: Several spots right near the door with ramp access

This was our second time at Halo Pizzeria and it was a great experience! We tried the pepperoni rolls that my kids liked (I didn t expect that!) and we ordered a pepperoni pizza for the kids and meatlovers for the adults. Service was great and quick. We were there for Spirit Night for my son s elementary school. Love that they support the community as well.

Our visit started out great! We ordered our drinks and pepperoni rolls and ate a few and got settled in. Then it took a turn. My daughter and I went to the restroom and when we walked out, I saw them busing our table. They came up to me and said they thought we left. I was upset and offended because as a 34 year old, who does this other than potentially teenagers? Mind you the restaurant is not big and was not busy. You can clearly see who walks to the restroom or who walks out the door. They apologized and comped my pepperoni rolls for half off. The waitress who was servicing us however, did not apologize. They said she was new but this would have went a long way with me. Also, when we left, they said nothing. They told other guests, thank you for coming in. The pepperoni rolls were good and the pizza we ordered was good. My only complaint is that the chicken was dry on my chicken, bacon, ranch pizza. I hope others don t have the same experience we did and the servers can learn from this.

Wanted to try a new place and not a chain restaurant! Glad we came across this place. Staff was friendly and provided great service. We met Ugo one of the owners and learned the story behind opening this place. They really put hard work into making this a community place to eat Great pizza. The pizza choices all sounded good but we went with the Fernando White Pie! Excellent pizza with the chefs choice! We will be making this a regular spot to eat pizza, drink cold beer and house made sangria!

It was just ok...nothing outstanding, esp given the price. There is no way pizza should be that expensive. The bar area is sub par offering just bottles of beer and canned cocktails (made w lowest quality liquor)...$12 for a CANNED expresso martini..ah, no thanks. The pizza crust was a bit like a saltine cracker, no real taste. And the guys handling dough do not wear any gloves. I can only guess where there hands have been and no, they dont wash. We wont be back.

Great pizza!! As a New Yorker stuck in Texas this is really good pizza. The dough is near perfect. Had a great crisp and still the right amount of doughy-ness. We had mozzarella sticks that could rival any mozzarella sticks out there! Had four kinds of pizza and all were great. This is definitely a place I would come back!! Great spot!

We like the food at Halo Pizzeria and have been going pretty often ever since we discovered the place. Today s order experience was below average. I explained to the person at the front (wearing a red sweatshirt) that my order was incorrect, three times. She looked at me like I was wrong or didn t understand what my order was when I knew full well what she rang me up for was incorrect. With what I saw to be an attitude, she went back to, I assume, the manager or owner to let him know I said my order was incorrect. He said they would correct/remake my order. My correct order was brought out, but no apology. I waited again to be checked out. Another gentleman came to ask if I was being helped, and I said I needed to be checked out. He checked me out and then walked away before the checkout process completed. I guess he assumed I knew I was good to go? The first person I spoke with didn t acknowledge until I said I m waiting to finish the checkout process. Again, with an attitude, she simply said, You re good. No apology for the mix-up. She didn t ask me if I needed a receipt. By this point, I was annoyed and didn t bother to ask for a receipt. As I walked out, I turned to see her giving me the stare, as if I was nuts and my incorrect order was my fault and an inconvenience to them. The worst. I get Fridays are busy, but a little more courtesy or an apology or follow through would have been appreciated and not something that would be too much to ask.

When we came we had high expectations after hearing about it from a friend. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner and were seated. After we ordered the food took a little bit to come out but it is produced fresh so the wait was worth it. We ordered the San Pedro and the Fernando White and they were delicious. For dessert we also got the Nuttella pie and it was incredible. Can t wait to comeback next time and try something new.

Youve all heard about the pizza and while we havent tried the specialties, you wont find a better New York style Pepperoni in the area but I went in blind on the Cannoli dessert because there were no pics or reviews on it...well Im here to fix that...amazing!! Brilliant twist on a dessert I usually avoid because the pastry is too stiff usually...but its all there with the waffle cookies providing the crunch and it is a clear winner...dont sleep on it!!

Unfortunately we never got to try the food here. After entering the establishment, we took a seat and was quickly brought a bottle of water. That was it. Only two customers in the restaurant and the staff seemed busy preoccupied with everything else BUT the customer. After reading over the menu multiple times and noticing the manager doing some training, we waited, waited more, and then thought we may not be a priority on this Monday night. We got up, exited the establishment without one word being said to us. Being a customer experience professional, returning here will most likely not happen.
