1st time customer and got recommendations from ND site. Pizza was ok, thought sauce was bland. Didnt know that I had to self order my meal at the counter. It was delivered to the table and employee was pleasant enough. Atmosphere was that of a to go/pickup store front.

The pizza and cheesy bread is really good. I think they are priced right and the staff is helpful and friendly. My only issue is that the restaurant smells funny. Not certain what the smell is. We usually get our food to go.

I dont even know where to begin. I expected a lot more after reading the reviews. My kids meatball sphagetti only had one meatball. My sandwich was more bread than fillings. We were really looking forward to the food and today might not have been their best day.

This place absolutely went down hill fast! To bad too because we come from NY and it was one place we lived. Now nothing but stupid teens who can t figure out proper orders or how to do their job. I kind of feel like there arent a whole lot of places in Frisco/Plano/McKinney that I would just describe as a pizza joint. Seems like we have either the usual chains (Papa Johns, Dominos, etc) or high end places that serve expensive artisan pizzas (Cane Rosso, Testa, etc). This place Luigis does a great job filling that middle area of something thats more like an older school pizzeria. New York style thats pretty tasty and wont empty your wallet to get. Weve been a few times now, its consistently a good meal.

We have loved Luigis for years and it has been our go to pizza place. The food is always excellent. Lately, we have been disappointed by their service. I called at 8:20 and the guy who answered the phone told me they were about to close. I live less than 2 minutes from Luigis and was only going to order a pizza. This is the 3rd or 4th time that we have had this happen. Guess I need to find a new pizza joint.

I used to live in Frisco and go here pretty regularly. I moved to Plano and go back every once in a while. Still one of the best pizzas in the area. Pizza is what I always get. Used to get meatballs and sausage on the side sometimes too. But usually just pizza. I ordered it online, double Pepperoni, sausage, and tomato. Was ready for pickup in fifteen minutes. Walked in, I was asked if I was there to pick up an order, gave them my name, then they gave me my pizza. Very simple. The pizza was better than I remember, and I remember it being good. Im looking forward to moving back to Frisco. Too bad they arent open until 10pm, so I could get it after work. Thanks for the deliciousness.

Food at Luigis is pretty good. Delivery with Slice is disappointing. They have failed to deliver parts of our order several times, and they refuse to bring the missing items. They refund the item despite our wishes so that the 2nd trip doesn t adversely affect their bottom line. Unfortunately, Luigis pizza will stop getting our business because Slice delivery service cant get it right.

Pizza was good. Mozzarella sticks are not what is pictured. They are frozen and fried for 10$ and dont even taste great. The picture shows sliced Mozzarella fresh looking and this is disappointing frozen sticks what was served. Waste of money do not order that menu item.

We ordered the Giant Cheese Pizza to go and it was fantastic! A delicious NY Style Pizza! We also had tiramisu for dessert which was excellent too. Luigis is a great place for NY Style Pizza. Dined in December 2023. The pizza was delicious, but the dining room lacked atmosphere. Tables needed bussing, and it just seemed uninviting. Next time, we will get pizza to go.

I was in for lunch and was greeted by a wonderful woman who took my order and explained a couple things to me. She was very pleasant and then yelled my order to the back. The food came out to my table and was piping hot and tasted amazing. The sauce was delicious. If I had more days I would eat there again for sure.

It was my first time trying Luigi s Pizza and I have nothing but good things to say about the food, the service, and the people who own the place. I moved here from out of state and have tried all the pizzas around North Dallas area and this by far is the best New York style pizza I have had. We also had the chicken florentine, and the chicken parmigiana and it was AMAZING. Authentic Italian flavors and fresh ingredients. We will be back and this will be our new go to place for pizza.

I started coming to this place since they opened. As some others have mentioned, the pizza is hit or miss. Sometimes it is great. Sometimes the pizza is dry. In need of more sauce. The calzones and strombolis are decent. Service is usually in need of an attitude adjustment. Tonight I went in with my family just before 8:30pm. They close at 9pm. They didnt want us to dine in even though they are still open. Im sorry but if youre open until 9pm. You dont turn your customers away because you dont want to work. Customer service is not a thing here. They really dont want to be inconvenienced. I have had several issues with this place over all the years of being a customer. I once had a coupon from them that was good through an end date. On the last day of the coupon, I phone ordered pizza, told them that I had this coupon and all was good. On my way to the store, they called me and told me that my coupon was no good because it was only valid during week nights Sun-Thu and it was Fri. They would not budge on such an insignificant amount. They messed up by having the end date too long since it extended into the weekend. We did not go back for over 2 years. There are other pizza joint around that want my business. Since they turned me away tonight, I guess Im done again with this place.

Not that impressed. Had Chicken Alfredo. For the amount you spend, basically $15 for a plate of pasta, it really wasn t anything special. I ve had far better. The chicken was bland and not grilled at all. Kind of rubbery. The sauce wasn t particularly flavorful either, tasted like your typical grocery store Alfredo sauce. Not saying this was the worst but it wasn t the best either. Very average. You can do better for the price.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, I know good pizza. When I moved to Texas in 2007 my wife took me to 20+ pizza shops, not realizing the best NY style pizza was only a mile away. Luigi s! Luigi s used to be good years ago but lately has been underwhelming. I think they changed ownership as their recipes seemed to have changed. I keep giving them a try but each time the food is just mediocre. Not much flavor and even the bread is tasteless. Tonight, I got the baked ziti and honestly, I could ve made it better with store bought sauce and some seasonings. I have tried multiple items and each time get let down. Our boss ordered pizza for us because this is supposedly a New York Style pizzeria. Well, we ended up with what was exactly like Pizza Hutt deep dish. The first 2 times we ate from here, we just got the regular cheese pizza & a regular pizza with pepperoni. It was great! This last time we got the meat lovers with jalapeños & extra cheese & it was awful!! The taste of the meat was so nasty. It had a really funky taste that did not taste normal. Especially the sausage, which also did not look normal. I dont know what changed between the past times & this most recent order but huge disappointment. That meat was really really gross & i most likely wont be eating there again.

Luigis is excellent! Placed a to go order online - it was 100% correct, even with a modification (Im constantly plagued with mess ups) and the food was still hot after a long drive home. The service when I picked up the food was wonderful! The staff was very friendly and prompt in bringing my food, they even packaged my salad separately so it wouldnt be hot from the pasta, which more places should be doing! We ordered garlic bread with cheese, meatball sub and shrimp scampi (I added capers) which came with a house salad and the house tomato vinaigrette - everything was delicious. I will definitely be ordering from here again! My one request - please put a scampi / piccata on the menu without meat. Its so delicious but no one ever offers a vegetarian friendly version!

Terrible experience. Manager/owner is greedy and rude. I ordered the pizza and they said it was a 40 min wait. No problem. I ordered 30-45 min ahead of when I needed it. I get there on time and they said the pizza was almost ready, just a 5 min wait. Okay, I can wait another 5 min. Manager takes the payment in the meantime. Come to find out that they literally forgot my order and had to throw it in last second and I ended up waiting another 25+ min for it. I told them I cant wait any longer and want a refund. The staff says okay but needs to run it by the manager. The manager refuses because the pizza is perfectly fine, Ill have to throw it out if I give you a refund. What kind of reasoning is that? Give it to your staff or something. In the middle of me arguing, the pizza gets finished and manager says the best she can do is give me $5 off. Completely awful. If they had just forgotten my order and told me, then I would have been fine with that and just looked elsewhere, but she straight lied to my face and then took my money while Im watching the 10+ ppl behind me all get their orders.

Came here looking for a new pizza place to try in the area. Wow! Luigis offers so much more than just pizza. The food no matter what you get pizza, pasta, sub, is phenomenal. So this was my favorite go to place for pizza. Would drive far to get it until yesterday. I had a Veggie and a Alfredo Pizza. Both were bad. The veggie pizza crust was so soggy I could not pick up a slice and it was tasteless. The alfredo.seems as if there was no sauce on it and tastelss as well. What happened? I will give one more try, but if that bad I will search for another place

We were spending the day in Frisco for the day from McKinney, and we wanted to try something new. We found Luigi s and decided to go for it. It s a little restaurant in a strip mall, but this place is AMAZING!! We got a Small Cheese Pizza for our 2 girls, and my wife ordered the Chicken Parmigiana. I ordered the Chicken Florentine! Everything was DELICIOUS!! But, I want to brag on the Chicken Florentine and it s Pink Sauce! For that alone, I will make a trip to Frisco! Plus, we all had leftovers!! This was our first time, but won t be our last!!

The pizza was decent, though the marinara was lacking a little bit in regards to the seasoning. The mozzarella sticks were extremely disappointing. They tasted overcooked but were somehow cold when I got them back to the house. With the number of options in the area when it comes to pizza I don t think I ll be returning.

Very rude and incredibly insulting staff. Degrading the customers (including me) in ear shot of everyone. I can NOT understand that kind of behavior and it shocks me if the manager/owner would tolerate it. These were two girls running the registers. Worst behavior I ve ever witnessed in a restaurant. And as far as I could see, no one had done ANYTHING at all to warrant ANY of their nastiness. I certainly hope management see this and does something about it.

This was one of my favorite places! I ve eaten here for years. But in the last 6 months they changed a lot with the food and it s not as good. The house dressing - which was my FAVE - is sweet now and not in a good way. And their grilled chicken is not the same. I wish most of all they would change their dressing back!!!

Poor experience with this establishment, ordered through their website which forces you to order via slice. The order set delivery for Tuesday which was wrong, the email for the order directs to call the restaurant or text slice. I texted slice and got no response, I called the restaurant and explained the issue. The lady advised they would look into it and call back. Never got a call but did get a text and email from slice advising the order cancelled as Luigis was closed already. Apparently they set their stuff an hour or so in advanced of close to show closed. Now I have to wait 3-5 business daya to get my money back. Went down to Luigis to see what was going on. The person I spoke to on the phone was busy, the other cashier didnt seem to like me stating their website messed up, tried to deflect it as an issue between me and slice. They did retake the order and said theyd try to rush it but I still have paid twice and kinda feel the one employee was annoyed by my issue.

I have never had to place a just delivered pizza in the oven before... I live less than one block away and received notice pizza was on the way 12 minutes later.... Weird bc i requested well done pizza...Ordered meatlovers pizza received half cooked pizza that slid off the uncooked dough.. Even worse i bite into gummy uncooked slime and had to spit it out... No taste in the sauce or meat... What the heck. First and last order from this horrible place.. My 4.95 slice of cheesecake looks at least properly pre made... Woww no way folks are fiving this place 4 stars...having to cook your own pizza is not acceptable.

Wanted to try a new pizza place so I ordered through grub hub, I ordered a meat lovers pizza with two extra toppings and they sent a pizza with only the two extra toppings that I added to the pizza I called to get it corrected and they told me I would have to come in to pick up my pizza. The other pizza I ordered barely had any sauce on the pizza, so I guess I won t be back to get my free pizza because it really wasn t good pizza I can t believe the amount 5 stars??

Ive been here twice now and this place is always super crowded and the wait is long. It took a bit over the promised time since the line is usually out the door. Ive tried the fettuccini Alfredo and their pizza. Not sure why, but the pasta made me sick. I gave it a second chance and got the pizza but it swashed all around when driving back but the taste was decent. I ended up tossing the rest of it after eating a few slices. The crust was good. Not a bad place to grab some pizza and pasta, but not sure if I personally will be driving out of the way to order from here.
