We used Gillian twice so far, once for a fall mini session and once for a newborn session. Both times Gillian has been nothing but amazing! We got amazing pictures from just a 15 minute session, and she was super patient when my toddler was throwing a fit during the newborn session and stayed an hour over her scheduled leave time. Def recommend and we will be using her again!

We booked Gillian for a newborn session and had THE BEST experience. Gillian was patient with our little one who was extra fussy during our session. She was super communicative with prep prior to the session and went with the flow when we need to pivot during our time together. We are so in love with our photos that we purchased the entire gallery. Cant get over how amazing everything turned out. I highly recommend booking with Gillian Oler Photography! Hope to use her again in the future to document our family and our special moments.

I can t say enough great things about our experience with Gillian She captured our family exactly how we wanted and we are incredibly satisfied and happy with the results of the photo shoot. She came prepared for dealing with a newborn too- which is amazing because I m a first time mom and I learned some tips and tricks She brought the cutest props- we couldn t be happier with the results. Gillian went above and beyond for us and we appreciate all her effort, so much so we booked another session before she left! 10/10, highly recommended.

I have used Gillian for three years to take family photographs, specifically her wildflower mini-session. I am always amazed at what she can capture in the moment with a wiggly baby or a running toddler. This is because, in addition to being a fantastic photographer, she is also great at getting my daughter to cooperate! You will not be disappointed if you hire her.

Gillian was nothing short of amazing!! She shot our newborn session and the photos turned out absolutely STUNNING. She got sneak peeks to us within days and the rest of our edited gallery back to us in a timely manner. She showed up at our house with a whole set up for the newborn photos (lights, gear, swaddles, outfits for baby, props, sound machine, ect.) and even brought me a a bunch of dresses to try on and wear for the shoot. She was punctual, professional and super sweet. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and handled and posed our newborn baby with ease. We had a great experience with Gillian and would recommend her to our friends and family over and over again!! Book with her, you wont regret it!

I didn t know all you needed were 15 minutes to capture beautiful, candid family photos! I ve used Gillian for quick fall minis as well as an extensive home newborn session and I m overly impressed with how easy the experience is and how quickly the photos are edited and in your hands. I have her photos hanging in my home and don t plan for that to change with our growing family!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!! I have been going to Gillian for years now and every time it is so special. She captures the most precious moments. The experience is so effortless and fun! She is patient with my kiddo and gracious with my special requests. She played fun Christmas music and even had prizes for my son afterwards. (Now THAT speaks volumes!) HANDS DOWN THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHER IN DFW! I have used her for my son s milestone 1st birthday photos, my maternity photos, and newborn photos of my daughter! I chose her because I think her style and aesthetic is drop dead gorgeous and truly stands apart from the rest. Since working with her I ve replaced pretty much all the photos in my home to ones she s taken. Nothing else compares! WOW! We are just so thankful to Gillian for capturing our little family. She is so talented! We did a mini session and it was just perfect for us and our 3 year old. She was able to capture the BEST shots of my family, but she is especially great at capturing the best moments when you think taking photos with a baby is going to be hard. I am so happy that I used Gillian to do both my maternity and my newborn photos. During a pregnancy where I never felt pretty she made me feel absolutely beautiful. I cant believe how incredible the photos are. She also came to my home when my baby was 11 days old, which was fantastic for me as I was recovering from a c section and she was able to capture pictures I will treasure for a lifetime. Our family had the privilege of working with Gillian on our baby boy s newborn photography. Before the shoot, Gillian offered the most professional and helpful preparation document, including instructions on attire, baby prep, etc. During the shoot, Gillian was flexible with us when the unpredictable nature of newborn behaviors just happen. She brought in gorgeous dresses for me (mom) and the cutest outfits and props for baby. All throughout the shoot, she provided gentle care for newborn baby and offered encouraging instructions to us (parents). I would 100% recommend to other families for any type of family photography.

I have shot with Gillian twice now. And let me just say that both times have been amazing. Those times I was worried about the quality of photos I would get knowing my children cannot sit still and are way too anxious in front of the camera. But my money has been so well spent on her photos because the outcome that was produced is phenomenal. She s super sweet and very talented in terms of before and after issues.
