Very cozy area nice patio spot service was good. But the tacos I ordered chicken pastor and carne I wish overall had more seasoning of what I m use to I was bit disappointed just cause everyone was sweet. I may have came on the wrong night but def should ve asked for some salt with my tacos or something was bland for me. I would probably come back to try it again to see if I m wrong

Ordered 2 asada burritos. One with no beans, one with guacamole on the side. They made both with everything. My friend was more hungry than not and ate his. They brought a teaspoon of guacamole on the side for the burrito. An ant could ve eaten it in one bite. As for me, I asked for them to please make me another burrito with no beans. Kitchen staff was upset. They remade it and took a very long time. When I got home the burrito they remade had beans in it again. Disappointed. Kitchen staff was unhappy.

Marianas Taco Shop is a charming little spot that truly impressed me! I was craving Menudo, and after browsing reviews of various places, I decided to give this one a try and I m so glad I did. The Menudo took me back to my childhood with its rich flavor and generous portions of meat. I loved it so much that I returned the next day for another bowl, and I was back again the following weekend. I should mention, they only serve it on Saturdays and Sundays. I also tried the barbacoa and lengua tacos, both of which were delicious. My daughter ordered the mini quesadilla, which she really enjoyed, though the rice had a bit too much spice for her taste. I didn t mind at all because I got to eat it and found it quite tasty. My husband ordered the torta and said it was good, though nothing extraordinary. The horchata, on the other hand, was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Marianas, and I m now officially a loyal customer!

There may be several Mexican restaurants in North Texas, but very few authentic flavors. Marianas has the authentic Mexican flavor, not the usual tex-mex found in most places in the area. My Mexican wife and I are glad we found Marianas!

Food ok, service horrific. I once ordered food for delivery after being a consistent customer but turns out the resturant was about to close and couldn t do delivery, which is completely understandable. What wasn t understandable was them taking my money anyways , refusing to refund me and wouldn t let me reorder the food I already paid for the following day without repaying AGAIN. Once again great food just greedy customer service

This is a great little restaurant in downtown Frisco. Good service and atmosphere, solid breakfast tacos. I feel like theres so many options for Mexican food that you really have to stand out to earn 5-stars, but this is a solid 4 stars IMO. Parking: Small parking lot but shared with nearby businesses, often need to park on the street. Kid-friendliness: I mean you can bring kids but theres no kids menu or anything that I saw. Wheelchair accessibility: Didnt seem to be wheelchair accessible, steps out front to get in the door.

A California burrito? Rolled tacos? In Texas? Marianas is not another Tex-Mex spot, in fact it isnt Tex-Mex at all. This Taqueria is a throw back to traditional Mexican food. The salsa (both red and green) is spectacular and the food is fresh and delicious. Dont let being Texan keep you from trying the California Burrito it is dynamite. My go to for Quick Mexican Food.

Love the vibes but I ve been there twice in the past year and the food is pretty poor. I don t understand the raving reviews it s just tacos for gringos. The flautas I ordered ended up being dry oven-bake taquitos with iceberg lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, tomatoes, and guacamole. Had a whole chunk of unripe avocado in it as well. Left really dissatisfied for the price. Lovely people who work there and great atmosphere, though.

Moved to Frisco almost two months ago, and this has become one of my favorite spots! The food is delicious, every time I eat the salsas both green and red I feel like im back home as no one makes them like they do. The only thing I would say I don t like much are the flies everywhere (not infested )but then again what else do I expect when we eat outside lol, it is a little pricey but tbh its worth it. What I dont understand is how they seem to always run out of ground beef and yet have all the remaining meat and chicken options to choose from, it never fails during the middle of the week. What this says is that poor preparation is taking place as this has happened on more than one occasion. I just chose to finally submit a review. If ground beef is being ordered to the extent that it causes a shortage then again proper planning and prep needs to take place. At the end of the day you have to be better, expect better of your team and no exceptions or excuses made for a shortage of meat on a non-weekend evening......

Only giving this place a 3 star because we ordered a pick up order over phone and had an orchata large drink ordered and was not giving to us at the time of pick up. My husband didnt noticed until he got home but at the end of the day the restaurant should be responsible to give all the ordered items that we paid for. Real Mexican food!! No Tex-mex here-reminds me of the Mexican food found in California. Great hard shell tacos, red sauce on the enchiladas is excellent, carnitas and chicken always awesome! We call in our order and pickup to go, but there are a few seats inside as well as outdoor seating. Chicken burrito supreme is my favorite. Great verde salsa. YUM!

We only had an order to go of 5 carne asada tacos to go and she said it would take 10 minutes and shed bring it out but after 25 minutes we had to go inside and get it. She ignored us and just walked to the back but we noticed our order on the counter. There was literally only one group of three other than us in there so I dont know why the poor attention to service. Also, a few years ago we came here (the only other time we tried this taco place) and there was a toothpick INSIDE the middle of our flauta! And no, it was not a toothpick to keep it in place because the entire toothpick was inside and none of the other flautas had it! We didnt complain then or now but this is just an honest review of our experience.

Good stuff here at Marianas Taco Shop. I ordered a Coke in a bottle and the California burrito. It was perfectly cooked and I loved the addition of the French fries inside. Honestly I had extremely high hopes for this place because since I moved here 3 months ago people have been saying this is the best place to get Mexican food . But sad it s not all that great. The food is wayyyyyyy overpriced for the amount you get. the food is very bland not seasoned very good. I paid 13 dollars for 4 drinks . Weve been looking for an authentic taco shop since weve lived in north Dallas the last 3+ years. So far this is only 1 of 2 that Ive rated with 5 stars. We tried CA Burrito & Carne Asada Fries. Both were very good with good tasting carne asada. A different twist on the CA Burrito was that they toasted both sides before serving. Clever, it made it stay together. No messy hands! Nice patio picnic style tables with benches for dining. Wonderful on a warm day in the evening hours with nice breezes flowing through. Lots of shady trees too on their small hidden property off Main Street in downtown Frisco. Looking forward to going back sometime soon.

Tacos and burrito we tried were all delicious. Staff was friendly and patient with first time visitors. There are only a handful of actual seats (bar height) inside but lots of picnic tables outside. I would only plan on dining in when the weather is nice.

The tacos are pretty tasty. The service is always great and quick! We enjoy the red salsa because it is a good amount of spicy. The green salsa doesn t really have a kick at all. We come here often and will continue to do so.

Overall rather average. A couple of unique things that are nice. Friendly service and good prices. The salsas are bitter, sadly, though spicy. The beef crispy taco I got was hot but bland. The al pastor soft tacos were cooler than the Texas heat (not hot) and bland. Rice and beans were good. Maybe they were having an off day. My food or salsas didnt look like the other photos. So have to disagree that this is the best Mom and Pop Taco place N of 635. For my money thats Elenas Taqueria in Farmers Branch.
