I went here to meet friends I was very impressed. I had the meatballs and they were delicious. We sat at the bar and the only reason I gave the service a 4 was the bartender didn t smile once and didn t engage. But when I walked in they greeted me and everyone else was very cordial . It would be a great place for a date and is in a great location . Parking is not the best but no where at the star is parking great . I would go back but I d sit at a table .

I had the opportunity to check brunch and dinner. Their selection is wide and many dishes to choose from. Our server Jenna was friendly and attentive. Great quality service she provided for us. oh goodness, what a fantastic meal experience. The ambiance and decor is beautiful and welcoming. The manager Aldo and Valentina stopped by to greet us and make us feel welcome. The tiramisu or lemon dessert are so delicious. you must order it, it s wouuu.

I am so disappointed to see that this place doesn t have five stars!! I came here on a Saturday with some girlfriends and seriously the food (and service!) were fantastic!! We all started with some cocktails, all of which were great. For appetizer we got the prosciutto and burrata which was so good and they carved the prosciutto table side! For entrees we got: rigatoni alla vodka, taglioni truffle, carbonara pasta and lobster fettuccini. Literally everything was SO SO good. The truffle pasta was made tableside in a Parmesan cheese wheel and there was freshly shaved truffle on top. We did the chocolate tart for dessert which was also so good. Also loved the vibe of the restaurant, I can t wait to come back!

For the scenery, atmosphere, and decor I was surprised for a dinner for two people was under $200 with gratuity! Only thing I would change with the steak & mash potato, would be the whole garlic cloves actually in the mash potato. The mash is mush, so it pushes around the plate, if you aren t careful you can get an entire garlic in your bite of mash potato.

I recently dined at your restaurant and wanted to share my experience. The Italian food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic, especially with the live music creating such beautiful vibes. However, I did find that the service could be improved, as we had to wait quite a long time to place our orders for food and drinks. It was the 3rd time we came last night. The past two times, they sat us two people close to the bar, with the waiter moving drinks above your head and many people walking around. Tables are just so close to each other, very uncomfortable and not much privacy talking. We requested to sit to the back last night when we made the reservation. It was 5:45pm and many tables were still vacant, but they chose to sit 3 of us right in front of the toilet. Bread is cold when they came. Ordered calamari as appetizer and it was so small portion for the price. I ordered Cioppino Mediterraneo. Never give me a bowl to put seafood shells. The dish came with French bread. I cannot finish and wanted to pack to go. The waitress asked if I want to pack the French bread which I never touched. I said yes. But she packed without it. I only realize when we got home since I didn t look into the bag she gave me when we left. My stomach is not well after eating dinner. Not sure if it s the problem of the seafood. I didn t eat anything else. Anyways, it s an expensive restaurant with food just hit or miss. Bad service and uncomfortable seating. Not worth the price.

The risotto allo champagne con capesante $42.00 was a mess, more al dente than I prefer. I asked the server to fix it and told me the chef will remake the dish for, a wait if 5-10 minutes. He returned sooner with a messed up plate of risotto that was obviously rewarm of the initial plate. The presentation was awful. The server was unbordered. Thats my 2nd time there, first on my birthday (server was great) and 2nd time was on my friends sisters birthday. Definitely not impressed. The ambiance is great. The food has not been.

Celebrated our anniversary yesterday at Lombardi s Cochina Italiana, We aren t from Texas so we weren t sure what to expect but our dinner last night was a delight! Loved my rigatoni vodka and our waitress Raven was the best. We added Lombardis to our list of places to visit there. We will definitely dine in again the next time we are in town. Hands down one the best dining experiences weve had in DFW! Were frequent patrons of this area in Frisco. Im a very picky person and Im big on customer service. And they knocked it out the park. We celebrated our anniversary (and our kids who are 11, 6 and 7 months were in attendance) they accommodated us very well. Food was so dang on good. We will definitely be back! Also, worth mentioning we made reservations in advance, we walked and they sat us immediately. Valet parking is available and they too were very accommodating!

Unfortunately not ideal seating as we were right next to a service station.....Service was fine and the food was good, but for the prices, def not superb. The worst part for us was the music was way too loud and very hard to talk over for a fine dining experience. Love this place! The food is delicious and the service is attentive. They act like they are interested in giving you a good experience, which doesn t always happen these days. Jorge was our waiter on my last visit and he was exceptional. We also appreciate the hostess there (I think her name is Vincenza?). They have wonderful homemade gelato and a passion flower soufflé that is a real treat. I usually order fish and I have been pleased with all my meals there. It is a beautifully designed space, as well. It is definitely a favorite for a celebration or upscale dinner out. Dietary restrictions: I am gluten free and they were helpful and accommodating.

Never seat this beauty at the back of the restaurant! Now that we ve gotten that out of the way I can continue my review. Lombardi s is a beautiful open-concept venue with bright natural aesthetics. Two of us 3 ladies ordered the fresh red snapper. We had no idea it would be prepared then expertly carved at the table. Monthly dinner with my girlfriends is often the highlight of my week and our server made it enjoyable. There were times we struggled to understand his heavy accent but ultimately we were taken care of. I recommend this restaurant!

I will preface my review with there was a power outage for the area of Lombardi (beyond their control). (Possibly within their control) we had made reservations six days before; if they were able to get into their iPad, it would have been nice to have received a call to let us know. If they were not able to call, no problem. The disappointment begins when we arrived at Lombardi; the hostess greeted us and let us know the power had been out for about 20 minutes and they did not have a time as to when the power would come back up and would we like to have a seat at the bar to wait. We choose to wait; the bartender offered water and said due to the power outage they could not serve drinks... No manager came to check on our party or the other two couples during the 30 minutes we were there. Normally in an upscale restaurant, the manager comes by to apologize for the inconvenience, offer a drink or bread. Due to the fact we were there at our allotted time for our reservation, I felt the least the manager or staff could have done was offered a mixed drink, glass of wine, beer, or cola in return for us showing up on time. If they could not extend a drink to their customer, why were some of the wait staff making mixed drinks for themselves and drinking them at the bar... Some of the wait staff congregated by the hostess stand and proceeded to vape with customers in the restaurant. If customers are not allowed to vape in the building, where was the manager to control the staff. We likely will not bother with going back to Lombardi; very disappointing first impression.

Completely ruined the Father s Day dinner I planned for my husband! We were seated and everything was fine. We placed our drink order, got the drinks, received bread, and placed our food orders. We ordered lobster bisque, a salad and our entrees. We got cold soup that I asked them to heat up. It was not good. At that point we waited over 1.5hrs for our salad and entrees. We watched as other customers, who arrived 30 mins after us, received their food. At that point my husband decides he wants to leave. I was so upset because this day was supposed to be special for him. We spoke to the manager and learned our food orders were never given to the kitchen. Our waiter lied to us the entire time. Why???? What was worse is that since we left at close to 9p on Sunday most restaurants were closed or wouldn t be able to accommodate us. This was the worst experience I ve ever had at a restaurant. I hate that I chose this place for my husband s Father s Day dinner.

Went to Lombardi last night & sat by the piano. It was our first time, & my bday. We had an absolutely amazing server whose name I cant recall, but she was the blonde with glasses. Said server was also apparently the bartender, which was our luck because she made me a custom birthday cocktail & then introduced us to amaro, very tasty! Past that the pasta I ordered was buttery & delicious, my husbands steak was also incredibly good (I stole a few bites). Five stars for the service & the food, but I wish I could give six stars for the ambiance, this place is so beautiful inside. Were planning on coming back for our next date night. 10/10

We had been wanting to come here for a while! Great drinks and delicious food! We shared the lobster bisque and loved it! Then we each tried a pasta. Update May 14, 2024 After several visits to Lombardi we continue to love the food, service and atmosphere. I absolutely recommend them to anyone. This was our first visit to Lombardi Cucina and were very pleased. The food was excellent, we enjoyed every item ordered. Our waiter, Luca, while busy with several tables kept close attention but also let us take our time so we could enjoy the meal and our drinks. My wife had one of the features, Dover Sole which she absolutely loved. My Veal Parm was large, and very tasty. The kids had a Filet of Beef Loin and the other one had Pasta. The appetizers were as good as the meal. The chocolate tart was a great finish. We will be back. Parking: The restaurant is at The Star so parking at the restaurant is nearly impossible so we always use the free valet service. There is plenty of free parking in the garages as well as along the side streets.

My wife had the Tagliatelle Alle Bolognese. I had a Mediterranean sea food Parmesan with lobster. Theres really nothing special about the place to us. Its busy, buzzy, a bit crowded or cramped space-wise, with one main single open space. The lighting kept dimming and brightening. The live music seemed to have an inconsistent volume as well. The Bolognese didnt really hit for us. The Mediterranean sea food Parmesan is authentic - exactly how it would likely be served from Marseille, France to Napoli, Italy. But, sometimes that authentic is not what you want because this simply wasnt high enough quality and taste of a dish for this type of place. Also, the service is authentic European - not very friendly. Furthermore, if one is a veteran or sports fan and likes wearing caps, they dont allow hats. Ive been all over and never had anyone ask me to remove my hat before. But, hey - its their place. They can run it how they want to. If thats high class Euro and too good for Texans, so be it. Especially for the price, theres way too much far better competition very near-by, and dont forget that. Princi Italia is still our favorite place.

I had dinner here with my friends September 9th to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant was really pretty inside and out, and the atmosphere was amazing. Saying that, I was disappointed because they forgot it was my birthday, even though it was mentioned at least twice beforehand. The focaccia came out a bit cold, and some of the pasta dishes we ordered were as well. The limoncello, however, was really good! Overall I still had a good time, but I was a little bummed they forgot it was my birthday.

The entire dinner experience was terrific. The location is beautiful. The surrounding store and shops are terrific and the restaurant was easy to find and accessible. I was greeted immediately upon arrival by the host who was very engaging. I had to wait for my plus one to arrive, and the waiting area was both comfortable and appropriately sized. Upon my plus one arriving, we were immediately seated. Upon being seated, our table was very nice and the atmosphere of the restaurant is stunning. Our waiter was excellent. He was very well-versed with the menu, with the strong grasp of all the details of each dish. He had some great recommendations for us-in fact, I went with his recommendation for both the appetizer and the main dish, both of which were delicious. I had penne ala vodka for my main course, and it was impeccable. His wine recommendation was spot on. Both delicious and in line with the dishes we were eating. The experience was a solid A . The only things that I could find issue with was the price of wine and the seating was a tad bit comfy . The wine list was complete with some extraordinary wines. However, it was quite pricey, even when compared with 5-star Italian restaurants in Manhattan. It would ve been nice to see more wines in the $75 $125 price point. Regarding the seating, well appropriately sized and comfortable it was in very close proximity to the adjacent tables. So you have to be modestly comfortable in overhearing other peoples conversations. Like I said, though, the issue with the wine and table were very minor, and really the only things that I wouldn t describe as perfect. All in all, a terrific experience.

We were late for our reservation and had to sit at the bar until a table opened up, this was fair enough.The ambience was fantastic. We started with the drinks at the bar that looked nice but suspiciously lacked alcohol content. Bar service was friendly. When a table did open up we were asked to settle the bar and meal tab before going to the table.In a full service establishment, that felt weird.Also our appetizers that we paid for did not appear at the table. We asked for bread at the bar which never arrived. Once at the table, the entree arrived quickly but the ravioli portions were miniscule and the risotto, while well cooked, was tasteless and bland. The waiter for the table ignored us until he couldnt when I ordered a winter negroni, which looked nice again, but there was literally nothing to drink. The souffle was not great but the tiramisu was nice. All in all, not the optimal dining experience that we had hoped for. I would not return voluntarily.

This was a truly fine dining experience. All points were outstanding from the beautiful ambiance, excellent wait staff, and amazing food. Our waiter Luca was such a delightful, knowledgeable, and accommodating gentleman who elevated our experience. A table of four each picked an entree, and these were brought out individually for all to share tastings of each. Our starters were the rissoto with King Crab Entree and the Heirloom tomato Caprese salad. We followed this with the grilled whole Dover Sole, which was fileted and served tableside with sauteed spinach. Next came the thinly sliced Veal and lastly the Ossobuco. Dessert included a lovely birthday celebration plate and the soufflé! The pre-meal cocktails were also fantastic, as was the suggested Italian red blend. Wow, what a night was had by all!

The ambiance was good but the round booth we were seated as a party of 5 was torn with a bunch of nails sticking out at neck height between myself and my son. Not acceptable for a place like this. The food was ok but not great. The lobster Benedict wasnt as good as Ive had before. My wifes veggie fritata was better. We were out celebrating and our server was very pleasant to deal with which helped.

Overall a good experience, my friends bolognese was delicious. My shrimp were bad - should not have been served. I ate the pasta and left the shrimp - was shocked that they did not take the meal off of my bill. The space is beautiful and the rest of my staff experiences were excellent. We spent $500 yesterday here. Excellent n every way. Especially by the red coated manager. We are in from out of town. We wanted to return for Christmas and at 7 they said we are FULLY COMMITTED to Christmas and look what few staff we have, sorry NO you can t go to the bar and order dinner. There was 1 couple at the bar. Yesterday full bar and at 1st no bartender to be found. Really? There were maybe a dozen people in the whole entire restaurant. We were recommended by the OMNI 5 star hotel to go there. #YOUWONTMAKEITNHOUSTON The ALOOF manager on 12/25 7pm said look man it s CHRISTMAS. We were cut off the minute we walked in the door. Why even be open in a luxury vacation spot and turn a couple away on Christmas Day?

You Affogato ask for Niko! Our server, Niko, was the highlight of the night! The atmosphere was pleasant and the live music was great. We had Wagyu Meatballs to start, Fettuccine Verdi and the NY Strip Steak. Niko recommended the lobster cream sauce in the Fettuccine Verdi to pair with the bottle of Sancerre. Gotta trust the level 1 sommelier with the wine/food pairing recommendations! Niko was not only knowledgeable of the wine and food but was really funny too! When it came to dessert, we didn t see anything we liked on the menu and happened to mention how much we love Affogato. Niko took it upon himself to bring vanilla gelato and espresso to make our Affogato at the table in a beautiful presentation! While the food was really only 4 out of 5 stars, Niko made the experience 5 stars for us!!

My mom took me out for a nice birthday dinner and everything was wonderful until a rat came out of the ceiling and down the wall along the back of some booster seats and down behind them. It did not come back out. No one seemed alarmed that worked there. But not sure how you handle that situation in a nice restaurant. I do hope they close the holes up and put something out around the building as its a lovely restaurant with good food and service. But its a shame so many people had to witness that. I thought I was hallucinating!
