I dont who gives them 5 star reviews its either who have bad taste or their own family and friend hyping them up. Honestly I used to go there only I used to be very hungry and I only use to eat fried rice because their biryani is like some wet rice soaked in water and fish fry is bad and moreover when I went there today 7/16/23 at 9.30 and the girl in counter said sorry we are closed when restaurant is supposed to be open till 10 pm really bad customer service today they really made me realize this restaurant doesnt deserve my business I will rather go restaurants near by. And if anyone reading this please save your money and go elsewhere and thank me later.

I really had a very bad experience with Bawarchi this is not the first time it s happening for the second time. Food taste was not upto mark, restaurant ambience and atmosphere was dark and not clean. Toilet - one of the worst thing I ever seen. I ve seen plastic pieces in food ordered. I ordered chicken manchurian It seems like a korma, karam podi fish was dry like a rubber. Its really a frustrating experience for me. Earlier taste was awesome and service was good but now a days they loosing their name. If there is negative I would have given that.

Can we select 0 rating for these guys. I ordered paneer tikka masala and these beautiful people gave us chicken tikka masala. I am a pure vegetarian who never touched egg in life and these guys made me eat chicken.. when we called them they just started giving vague excuses. We had to go to their store to return the garbage food and guess what no guilt no, apologies just casually they said our chef mixed the gravies. Also the gravy tasted awful.. god knows which good man gave them 3 start rating.. they dont even deserve to be rated.. pathetic condition of store.. also have read many comments that their food in stale as well... do not buy anything if you love your health. Nice outlet of Bawarchi near Frisco Costco. Clean dining room and lots of food options. Biryani is little spicy. Other dishes that I ordered were tasty. Quantity of biryani is sufficient for two persons. Courteous staff and ample parking outside. There are both veg and non veg options available. Chicken kabab are awful and seems not fresh. The butter naan seems not freshly baked and pre packaged ones.

I stopped by here today afternoon, to eat something light. So I ended up ordering Dal Tadka which came in with a side of rice, the Masala Chai. And being an Indian, I know the tastes from back in the country and not many Indian restaurants have the authentic tastes here in Dallas area unfortunately. However, the dal tadka was on point, and I was very happy to have the authentic style Indian food after long! Not to forget the chai, that was amazing as well!! Priya, the girl who attended me, was super sweet, and very helpful. I must say, that the atmosphere of a place is highly influenced by the aura of the employees, and I found a calm and positive environment here , on account of the staff being so kind and helpful. With a smile on their faces :)

Ordered a Paneer biryani Togo. The biryani is so wet and tastes like they mixed some curry with white rice and calling it Biryani and it is so cold, I thought its ice cream. They could do lot better to justify their restaurants name. Never gonna order food from here again. Oh and eating paneer felt like Im eating RasMalai, so wet. Don t like their service at all. This is the first place I see that dosa is served without sambar. When asked for sambar they said we don t offer samber in the evening like really . Ordered the chicken tikki biryani, the man on the phone asked if I wanted it very spicy, I of course not wanting my mouth to be on fire ordered it mild. Pickup was quick and easy, and I was out within a few minutes. Within three bites the spicy was building, but it was so good I couldnt help myself but to continue. Two bottles of water and a third of the portion I was extremely satisfied, and it definitely hit my craving for Indian food. I will be back to try more!

CHECK YOUR TAKEOUT ORDER BEFORE LEAVING. I don t know if there is new management or what but I m very dissatisfied with my experience today. Half our order was not in our bag when we came home. I called 5 times only to be hung up on each time. When I arrived to pick up the rest of my order, I had to wait additional time to get it and check it. When I asked why no one picked up the phone, I was told that the phone line was down. It s funny, when you go to place an order, someone picks up real quick and I verified they are at that location. I don t appreciate being lied to and having to make 2 trips to get my food.

The food is amazing, but I hate to even give this place a single star for Service because there really is none. The young girl who takes your order mumbles and does not speak up where you can hear her. She kept disappearing to the kitchen, leaving the cash register/front counter unattended. This place does have beer and wine, which was a surprise for an Indian restaurant, but the wine selection is VERY limited. Furthermore, they do not refrigerate the white wine. The floor was VERY slippery...almost feeling like it had grease all over it. I was on crutches and had to be VERY careful because my crutches kept sliding on the floor. I think this place is good for take-out only. Dine-in will not meet expectations.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!! Don t even waste your time placing your order via phone! The third party service they use to take your order and deliver to the restaurant is useless!! I visited this bawarchi Frisco location. On Feb 4th with my friends and ordered kadai chicken, mutton curry, and tomato soup, guthi vankai pulav. and chicken pulav. The taste was not that good and salt was not sufficient in any of the dishes that we ordered. the egg plant was not properly boiled and in tomato soup there is more colour. What a dead place! The food is a black mark in the name of India cuisine. We asked for the only available Gobi Manchurian and the cauliflower florets were uncooked and some were deep fried and just tossed into some Mexican spicy sauce. Really wanted to like this place as our favorite Indian restaurant is all the way in Dallas. But when I came to pick it up at the time I was told, they had to ask what I ordered and had to wait while they made it. The dal tadka was very different than others we have had. It had so many chilis and bay leaves and the dal itself was soooo soupy and way spicy. I specifically asked them to recommend a biryani that wasn t as spicy. I didnt receive what I asked for. I orderedfrom Uber Eats to deliver to my hotel and apparently had a typo in my room number. The front desk called to let me know food was at my door. I thought my bag looked small for $21. I asked for rice and utensils to accompany my butter chicken. I contacted the driver and did not get a response. This place disappoints over and over and over again. I have finally had enough. We ordered delivery last night and were missing items (again). I called several times and no one would answer the phone. This happens every single time. The food quality use to be good but has plummeted down hill over the last couple of years and the staff is incredibly rude. When you dine in, they dont have 1/2 of the items on the menu available. The goat and chicken biriyani are delicious! Love they allow customers to pick different spicy level and the price is very reasonable with good portion of meat. I tried other biriyani places but they usually offer much less meat. The service is great and the server was patient enough to explain differences between various goat biriyani and we love the ones they he recommended us. If theres one thing you are supposed to do right is Biryani. How can you mess that up when its your signature dish? Biryani tested too dry and chicken was uncooked. There was too much masala in it that gave us heartburn.

Waste place never try this location. The things we asked as not there. But all are in the menu. Provide a separate section for breakfast and evening. Dosa is not there in the evening. Not happy with the location menu.

I ordered take out hyd chicken biriyani and lamp vedaloo @ Bawarchi Eldarado pwky Frisco restaurant. The restaurant girl kept my food on the floor, which was not professional. After reaching home realised they packed veg biriyani. I tried calling them, but no one picked the phone. Spoiled my lunch and over charged me. Not professional at all.

Disappointed with our experience here. We waited for 15 minutes to place an order and weren t given cups or water. After placing the order we waited for another 20 minutes for the food which did not come out together. Maybe 10 minutes apart. Our naan and extra side of rice were forgotten with the meal, but brought to the table as we paid. The food itself was good and all fresh but the service and experience were unacceptable.

It was amazing experience the food very delicious and the member who was at front desk the way she receives customer was cool and in a polite manner. I ordered fish biryani, its tastes really good and the spicy level was perfect as I mentioned. Even I also ordered chicken tikka masala with butter naan, the texture of butter naan seems like a perfect indian restaurant in USA. I undoubtedly recommend my friends to your restaurant to make their perfect lunch or dinner.

My friend and I dined in. It is open seating. We were greeted pretty quickly and asked if the Vegetarian Biryanis had any egg in them. The server said no and pointed at the menu and said these biryanis are just veggie and the ones with egg were in the egg biryani section. I saw a pitcher of water on the table, but was hesitant of room temperature water so asked for ice water. They just brought me a cup of ice so I ended up drinking it anyway. The floor was VERY slippery, probably from all the cooking oils. It took 10min or more for them to come back to get our order. It seemed like we came during a shift change. We started with veggie samosas. They came with 2 pretty good sized ones. I had the Avakai Veg Biryani. The spice level was incredible! It was spicy in my throat, but not my tongue. It was fun to eat and super filling. My friend had the Hyperbadi Veg Biryani and really enjoyed hers. They both came with a yogurt sauce and spices/oils sauce. I left the yogurt one off mine but the oily one really added even more amazing flavor. They are pretty large portions. We took half of ours home and it was still good for lunch the following day. Overall, the food was very good and recommend trying it. The ambiance could use something else. Maybe music?

The food is pretty good but it always takes forever for the food to come out. Also, whenever I ask for an update, they always say 5 mins but in reality takes like 30 more mins. I would not recommend dining in. Perhaps delivery if you re willing to wait an hour.

We moved to Frisco last week. Today I visited Bawarchi with my family. Chicken masala Lollipops are very nice, chicken dum biryani is good. My daughter and my wife enjoyed egg Hakka noodles. Karakuda chicken and naans also good. Finally we also enjoyed mango lassi, pineapple cake and rasamalai. We had a good time and happy to visit again

Worst place to be in. I ordered Full tandoori chicken by walk-in and they charged me and said it will take 30mins. I even went in after 20mins to check in and they said tandoori is cooking and takes 10 more mins. I sad outside in my car and went in after 15mins. This is when I heard we are OUT OF tandoori. Can I replace with something else. So beware not to be here

Bawarchi Biryani is one of my favorite local Indian restaurants. The Dosa and Chicken Tikka Masala and Biryani are some of the most flavorful around and, their portions are generous and package well in reusable sealable plastic containers. Give them a try if you havent already. Ive ordered take-out from them at least 15 times and Ive never had any issues.
