I came here since it s the closes taco shop to me for lunch, but the fajita tacos were dry and had no flavor to them whatsoever very bland. I had the taco special and it was literally I spoon full of beans and rice.

This place is awful. Just called up there to place an order and the lady didn t speak any English. I said can you find someone who speaks English. She hung up on me. I called back and was like seriously you hang up on your customers and she hung up again! I will never eat there again. All I can do is laugh because HOW RIDICULOUS IS THAT! Update. Called up there again and it s now 05/02/2024 and still don t speak English. Asked if anyone up there speaks English and she said no. So you only can serve people that speak Spanish? Like idk how the owners allow this. It s absolutely ridiculous

Got a beef fajita burrito, pretty bland. Fajita meat looked like picadio meat instead like a smooth paste no real chunks of fajita very small pieces of meat. Salsa was good, service was also good. To bad food didnt match that. May give it another try. But wo t get the burrito.

Today I ate here and the truth is that it is not recommended as a barbecue for two and the truth is that the meat was very stiff. The only good thing was the shrimp that I had on it. Chips were so stale that s crazy they even served them like that, the menudo was so nasty didn t even eat , the gortditas was ok a little greasy , the soda tasted flat, the salsa bottles looked so unsanitary as if they just refill them but don t clean the top area . Not sure if it s the same management as before I used to love coming here specifically for their gorditas . But it was a waste of money. To top it off they didn t even inform us they added the tip to the total . Which is crazy . I m just baffled on how the inside has changed the atmosphere is way different from before .

I ordered a shrimp and octopus cocktail. And the truth is, it is the worst cocktail I have ever had in my entire life. The shrimp are like those that come out in Maruchans and the super hard octopus had no flavor at all. And very expensive 19 dollars.

I ve been coming here for years, not sure if it s the management but it s been different employees. 9/10 my food is always messed up. Every time I ve been here the front girl has been rude and can never get my order right. I ordered enchiladas and she didn t ask what kind so when I got there, she told me that she hadn t placed my order. I had to wait for it to get cooked and on top of that they said they had $.99 beers and when I asked for some, they said they didn t even have draft beer. Sorry, but this place should definitely be shut down like I said I ve been here for years and I ve NEVER had a good experience. Also overpriced.

Terrible service. My husband ordered a specific beer and the waitress arrived with another. When he told him that that was not the one he had asked for, he replied that he didnt have one. She alone made the decision to bring him the beer she wanted, she should have returned and informed him that they did not have the product he ordered, so that he would order another one. Great, authentic Mexican spot. And the best tacos de trompo I ve found in the DFW metroplex. They even grill up some pineapple to go with the fresh cebolla and cilantro. Also: complimentary seasoned tortilla chips with awesome heated salsa casera PLUS queso when you sit down! Thumping sound system at lunch today was blaring music from Los Elegantes de Jerez, Carin Leon, and Grupo Firme. I think I counted at least 6 huge HD screens around the large open dining area - probably a great place to watch fútbol , Liga MX, Cowboys games, etc. Was there for 42 minutes and saw not one single gringo other than myself, which makes RMT exactly my kinda place. I almost want to keep it a secret and not post this, but the trompo tacos are too good not to share.

Well I didnt order a real Mexican taco but I have to say that if this was a real Mexican quesadilla, then the American version is definitely what has made it a household entree. When I order quesadilla I expect flat, grilled, and cheesy. Something that should be easy to eat while driving. Luckily I didnt just take off driving or I would have been wearing my food instead of eating it. I wont say it was bad but not for me. Others may enjoy it immensely.

Fresh waters cost $3.99 and the Refill costs $1.00 dollars, thats what the menu says, but when it came to paying, he charged me for the 3 refills at 3.99 each water $12.00. I complained to him but he said that what the menu says is not valid. I didnt want to argue anymore and I paid him for his water, but I wont return to this crazy place.

Okay before I even do the review be aware that we did not eat here. When we went in the music was so loud we could not hear the person asking us anything. I had to look at my wife who can hear better than me, and she was having problems hearing. Its one thing to jam out when nobodys around, but as soon as a customer walks in the door you should turn the music down immediately before going near them, so that way they can hear you. And no I do not dislike Latino music, hell I was a roadie for Latin Express, in Fort Worth Texas back in the 80s. She didnt even bother to try to turn it down until we were already out the door. Im sorry its rude okay thats just plain rude.

The name of the restaurant literally does not match the quality of the tacos. Nothing special about tacos that are below average. The tortillas were dry and cold , breaking apart. Absolutely horrible service me and my family have been coming here for years and have never had such a uncomfortable experience- two young ladies were running the front end but only one would talk to you- the other was standoffish and not friendly in any sense of the word. Felt like I was interrupting them even though it was 1pm and they close at 10pm.Never gave us any chips and salsa even after requesting it, did not ask how we wanted our eggs on our dish, failed to check up on us at all. Both ladies seemed more interested in speaking to a single man at the bar who was not ordering food. I got the enchiladas which I get everywhere and have never been more disappointed salsa was plain- like canned tomato sauce with zero spice- beans were saltier than the ocean and the rice was over cooked or maybe just stale from being used the day before. Would definitely not recommend ANYONE coming here pls save your money subpar food and service. they also tried to add their own tip to the bill ????

This is only the second or third negative review Ive ever wrote about a business, as its realized this is how people support themselves/families, which shouldnt be taken lightly. However, as others have mentioned, I can confirm the food is overpriced, the staff needs improvement in customer service, and they are sneaky about the 15% tip. To the owners: I actually believe in tipping small businesses, especially those that are local. However, this practice you chose to adopt is not a good look. And yes, it is sneaky when your staff intentionally tears the itemized receipt before giving it to the customer for review. Again, come at your own risk.

My father ordered a shrimp broth to take away. He comes home and a black hair in the soup! Call to tell them and they still say its a shrimp hair . A hair in a broth that cost $23!!!! My dad ordered a shrimp broth & once he gets home he sees a BLACK hair in it s food! He calls to let them know & he gets told the hair could be from the shrimp. Like No maam! We arrived about 40 mins before they closed to pick up a to go order. They forgot one order of tacos and the young lady at the front was very peeved about them having to make them. To make matters worse when we started trying to eat the tacos at home(5 mins away), the meat was cold and barely cooked. Like they were mad and in a hurry so they decided to just let the meat touch the grill for a few seconds, then served it to us. The tacos at the meat market across the street are the REAL deal. Never coming back here again.

Today on this sunday i called couple a times after 9:05 and no one answered to place a order. Now i pulled up when i saw the people that worl there but showed up late 9:30 or so. So i called and asked if i could place an order and they said to give them 30 minutes. So knowing that i had to go back home. Service is great and all but come on. Opening late cant be. Also prices change i be paying for 2 burritos about 5 dollars or so but today i paid 7 dollars that are barely even well filled in and they aint. Either add more for the price or lower it down. They automatically charge you for the tip!!!! Food was okay. I dislike when servers charge automatic gratuity. I understand if there s a party of 6 or more, but it was just two people. The server literally cut the receipt to hide the fact that she charged me gratuity and stood over me as I signed the paper. I didn t even feel comfortable reviewing the check while I was there. On top of that I had left 20% tip just to find out I was already charged 15%. Be sure to check your receipts to make sure everything aligns and your receipt isn t torn!!! I won t be returning.

Loved this place before, but it seems like the place is under new ownership. Husband said the name has changed, and the rice seems like it was made yesterday or something cause its dry. Ive bought tacos here a couple of times before and they were good, not great but they were descent enough until this time. Not only did they mess up the orders but the food was raw and poorly made. The quality is alright but its obviously declining already. Two stars because at some point it was an ok place to eat.

1 hair in my sons food, they made a mistake in my order, the green sauce was terrible, it took too long to bring it correctly, my husband ordered his tortillas for his barbecue and his lemons, it took about 10 minutes to bring those simple things.. Simply horrible, everything is too expensive, what you spend is worth nothing, first time and last time I return.

Our first time here and WOW! This place is like a hole in a wall, the shopping center it is at isnt all that. When you walk in the place is spacious and clean. The waitresses were so sweet. My boyfriend ordered Caldo de Res and it was quite filling and good, he also ordered a Lengua burrito to go which was good too. I ordered a plate of Cabrito, it came with rice and beans and tortillas. The cabrito was so soft and tasty. My kids had tacos de Barbacoa and Lengua and both were delicious. We will definitely be back.

So I tried this place for the first time and i had the beef fajita torta which was mostly bread and very dry. The fajita beef had no flavor, it was very bland and had no seasoning or marinade and it appeared to be cooked in a pressure cooker and the fries were frozen, not fresh. I also had the tacos de tripas and those were actually very good, larger tripas than usual but very clean and cooked to a perfect crispiness just as I had requested it. I might go back and if I do it will only be for the tacos de tripas and nothing more

Horrible service, my family and I always went there, its the last time we go, it was just us (6) it took them a long time to place the order, and they also brought out the chocolate fountain and my son asked for a chocolate, they never brought it to him we were There for about 20 minutes waiting for the famous dessert that never arrived, they didnt even have the nerve to apologize when we were leaving for not having brought anything. Either my gain is their loss, I feel sorry for the owners because with those employees they are not going to take very far. Lack of customer service Bad, very bad attention We did not return but not at all.
