Do not go here before an FC Dallas game. Service is slow over 30 minutes to get a beer and glass of water upon sitting down. Food comes out incorrect (for a party of 2). Ordered a chicken club and it came out with no cheese or avacodo. Ordered a side of plain grilled chicken breast came out with so much salt I sent it back and ate nothing. You are better off eating anywhere else around the stadium. I have been here about twice a soccer season for the last 6 years and have only had a good experience 1 time.

spent a few weeks in Keller work work training and spent my weekends in Frisco. Came to Jakea on my birthday, and it quickly became a staple. The Bartenders are well versed, so I came back, the food is delicious and the prices are spot on. Came back again and again because of the friendliness of the waitstaff. Sports on the TVs and the perfect music playing on the patio, none of the tvs or music is overbearing. You can still have a conversation and not have to repeat yourself 30 times. I dont have a single complaint! I cant name everyone on staff, but they all deserve the kudos. I may live in Oklahoma, but Jakes helped secure my weekends will be spent in Frisco! come for the food and drinks, come back for the waitstaff. you wont be disappointed!

Went here to celebrate my step sisters purchase of a new car. Establishment had only 2 people up front and 1 bus gentlemen. Apparently they had two new guys in the back learning the menu, they must of been transfers from Kellers. Busy place with only 2 people here is crazy. Don t waste your time here, go to LSA.

The service was great and our waitress was very attentive. The food on the other hand was a different story. I had the Huevos Rancheros which was okay but the tortillas were fried too much they were hard to chew and my beans were cold. Not like they sat too long cold but cold like they werent warmed up. My husband had French toast and they were really dry. All in all the service is what made our experience good.

After one of our soccer games today some of the players and parents decided to go eat. We picked the perfect place. 20 people. Our waitress, Gina was nothing short of fantastic we got all of our order and it was all correct. Gina is a keeper! Food was great! Service fantastic! The manager helped out as well. I am a big fan of burgers, so I ve been to many burger joints. I tried Jake s for the first time and it easily made it into my top 5! The food was delicious. The burger was cooked well and tastes like heaven. The fries were delicious as well. Additionally, I want to give a shout-out to my server, Gina. She was extremely kind and funny, and she made sure to check on our table and refill drinks when needed. She was an amazing server, and she truly made my experience at Jake s even more wonderful! I would 100% recommend Jake s to any fan of burgers!

It is 100% waste. The worst food I ve ever seen and tasted. Nothing was fresh even the lettuce and tomato inside the burger. The fries were green inside and very dark from the oil. The burger and wings were bad and freshly made. Even the one for my kid was bad with everything inside it as they just don t care. I just got the food an hour ago, and I m sorry to call it food as I wouldn t give it to a dog to eat it. Unfortunately I got it to go and I live 30 minutes away from that location, but the sure thing is that I just wasted $65 and will never go back there and I wouldn t recommend anyone to go and eat there unless you like to get sick.

Ive been going to this Jakes location for many years. Last week I noticed some big changes to the menu portions. I ordered the Buffalo chicken sando. The chicken was so thin that when they fried it, it was rubber and so overdone that it was inedible. I requested to replace with their go to cheeseburger. The bun and fixings were the same. The burger was again sounded so thin I dont even think it was a 1/4 lb. I had to remove the bun just to make sure there was meat in the burger. And the portions of the combo appetizer was reduced by at least 1/3 from the last time I ordered. Even the chicken in the cobb salad was not a whole breast. It was so thinly sliced and almost shredded to make the appearance of more meat. I understand cutbacks need to be made due to rising costs but to do this to your signature dishes is a shame. Raise the price, reduce something else, but your food needs to stay the same or you will lose your consistent customers. Sucks because we like this lunch spot.

Its sad what Jakes has become. Our party of 4 walked in and approached the hostess stand.. We waited. We waited. We waited. Two servers walked right by us and didnt even acknowledge us. There was no, We will be right with you.. Nothing. We continued to wait. Finally, one of those same servers that had passed by without saying a word came to seat us. Just for reference, the restaurant wasnt busy. There may have been 6 tables in use upon our arrival. Finally we are seated. The server comes over and asks for our drink order. She comes back in a few minutes with our drinks. My wife begins drinking her tea only to get a bug (fly/large knat) in her mouth from her glass of tea. Now thats disgusting. This place just isnt what it use to be. The staff looks absolutely miserable to be there. No one smiling, laughing and having fun. The restaurant is dirty. The pendant lights hanging over the tables in the booths are covered with dust, right over the top of you table. If the dining room looks like this, what in the world does the kitchen look like? Google has this location with a 4.2 lifetime rating. I would love to be able to filter that for the past 6 months and see the rating.

We came in today for Father s Day lunch and were extremely disappointed. This was my husband s favorite burger joint and he had been looking forward to going here for weeks. Not sure what was going on today but service was subpar and the food was downright terrible. The temperature of the restaurant was near 80 degrees the entire time we were there, the milkshake machine was broken, multiple flies flying around for our entire meal, sodas were flat, chips were stale and my chicken tenders were so dry and chewy I could barely bite through them. I m not typically very critical of restaurants but that was very sad to experience today!

Very good burgers, but so large and with so many toppings that I couldn t get my mouth around mine. I ended up eating most of it with a knife and fork, but got the soggy paper it was served included in several bites. Regarding service, our server forgot both the tater tots and the extra mayo we requested. Parking: Limited free parking lot that serves multiple restaurants. And the closest space is probably 150 ft.

Ive door dashed ordered twice in the past 4-5 days from this location. Their food is very good, especially their burgers. BUT, if ordering to be delivered you better - check with the dasher while still at Jakes to be certain youre getting what you ordered or all the things youve ordered. The First order, I ordered the chicken fried steak dinner, and what THEY rang up and made was the chicken fried tender platter....the only thing alike on each was chicken fried chicken. Today I ordered one of their burgers and a drink. Fortunately my dasher was on top of things and took a picture of Jakes register receipt which only had the burger. I sent her a pic of my door dash receipt with full order and payment. My dasher was fantastic taking care of getting my full order. Your location needs to do better with ALL ORDERS, not just your customers that eat in your restaurant.

Excellent experience. We ate on the patio which was delightful. Food was delicious, highly recommend the Kicking Chicken in any form. Pretty sure its breaded in house and it was perfect. Lemonade and sweet tea were the best we had during our visit to Texas. They have great crushed ice too! Loved our server and we were full when we left! Great parking lot behind the building and no problem finding a spot on a random day... But I could see it being difficult during a game since its right across the street.

There were 3 of us and we ordered 2 hamburgers and chicken fingers. Took forever to get food. The hamburgers were not very good. Meat tasted like it had been sitting for a while and warmed up on grill. Cheese was not melted. Looked like something I would have expected at a McDonalds. Fries were not cold but also not very warm and also soggy. Asked for new fries but never got them. Eventually had to go to the bar and ask for the check and a to-go box. Later discovered that the person waiting on us was a manager. Will NEVER be back to this place

You can never go wrong with a tasty classic homestyle burger! The poppy seed buns add a uniqueness to the burgers as well. The bacon on my burger was thick and cooked to a perfect crispness. Our server, Austin, did a very good job. Will definitely be coming back. Kid-friendliness: High chairs

I feel disgusted after eating here this past Saturday. Went in around 1, and while the restaurant didn t seem busy there was lots of tables with large parties and so they seemed a little overwhelmed. Once our food came we had to scarf it down quickly to make our basketball game. However, in my cheese fries i noticed something in there thinking it was maybe an onion, I pulled out a dirty disgusting bloody bandaid. We had to run, so I happen to find a manager and let her know and showed it to her but this will be the last time we visit this location.

Sweet Tea, Oreo Milk shake were delicious. Burger salad and burgers were just ok. The jalapeño bottle caps were the best they have ever been!! No more weird batter but they were crispy and crunchy. Just have those and a beer! Get the churros for the marshmallow sauce! That stuff is ridiculous. Server was nice, think he was new.

This place had gone down in quality over the years. Great location. The service was actually very good! The food was not remarkable, and the overall feel of the place was not great. It hasnt been updated in 10+ years, it wasnt that clean, the furniture was also very dated, and the bathrooms were definitely not clean. The location is great, just sad to see a place that used to be top notch fall so far from excellence.

Jakes is my favorite restaurant in Frisco. Everything there is amazing. It is one of those rare places where the actual food looks better and is a much larger portion than the pictures on the menu suggest. Usually, its the other way around! Great service every time as well. You cant go wrong no matter what you order, it is all so good! Kid-friendliness: The kids menu is a great value. The portions could easily pass for an adult sized meal, and everything on it is delicious.

Absolute trash customer service. Manager and staff lied to me multiple times. I ordered ahead and was text food was ready, I went there and had to wait over 40 minutes from when I checked in. Was told by 3 different people at various times the food was being boxed up. Manager said it was being boxed up and then had to wait 20 more minutes. Once i got home the order was wrong and couldnt even it it. Tried calling back and was placed on hold for FOREVER! trash staff and trash management!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Me and my wife have ate here all the time. Today we were seated by Jordan and she got our drinks. Our waitresses came and took our food order and left. After our food came Jordan made sure our drinks were full and fixed a problem with my wifes drink. Mind you she was not our waiter but made sure we were well taken care of. This was our first time here and it was an unbelievable experience with our small family from young to old. Our server, Javi, treated us as if we were already local family. During my visit on a Sunday, Erica welcomed me warmly and remained gracious throughout my experience. Although the lunch menu wasnt available until 11 AM, Erica kindly suggested the breakfast burger from the brunch menu, which was a delightful choice alongside some delicious hashbrowns. The burger, adorned with various layers from the poppyseed bun down to the cheese and three different types of meat, was a savory delight. Erica was exceptionally attentive, anticipating my needs before I asked, ensuring a fantastic dining experience. Despite not ordering the traditional burger I initially craved, I left extremely satisfied with the service and the deliciously prepared meal. Im coming back soon to explore their lunch/dinner menu. For a place over half empty, the volume of the TVs was incredible (World Series game on). We had to shout back and forth with the staff to order anything. If you order sweet potato fries here, beware they are sprinkled with granular white sugar and served with marshmellow fluff. We stopped by late Friday afternoon to relax and watch the Rangers game. We were promptly seated by Chris who then took our order and even made our drinks! The top shelf margarita hit the spot. Fried mushrooms were great and was a good size portion too! By then the restaurant was pretty crowded but still received the same great service! Chris is just the best. BTW....
