# Disappointing Experience at In-N-Out Burger - Frisco/Plano, TX (1 out of 5 stars) As an active duty United States Marine Corps Military Police Officer with 17 years of service, I was shocked and disappointed by my recent experience at the In-N-Out Burger in Frisco/Plano, Texas. Ive been a loyal customer of In-N-Out for years, always appreciating their support for the military. However, this visit was a stark departure from my previous positive experiences. When I requested the military discount that Ive routinely received at other locations, I was abruptly denied by the manager, Allison. She informed me that they only honor discounts for regular police officers in uniform, not for military police on active duty. What made the situation even worse was Allisons disrespectful attitude throughout our entire interaction. Her tone and demeanor were completely inappropriate, especially when addressing a customer, let alone a military servicemember. This policy is not only inconsistent with my past experiences at In-N-Out but also feels disrespectful to those of us serving in military law enforcement roles. Ive proudly served our country for nearly two decades, and Ive never encountered such a dismissive and disrespectful attitude towards my service. Whats particularly frustrating is the arbitrary distinction between regular police and military police. Both roles involve protecting and serving our communities, and its disheartening to see this lack of recognition. Ive always viewed In-N-Out as an organization that supports our military, but this experience has seriously damaged that perception. Its deeply disappointing to be treated this way, especially in a state like Texas, which is known for its strong support of the armed forces. I hope In-N-Out management reconsiders this policy and provides better training to their staff on how to respectfully interact with military personnel and customers in general. The disrespectful behavior I experienced is unacceptable and goes against the values I thought In-N-Out stood for. Until significant changes are made, Ill be taking my business elsewhere.

Honestly don t know why this place is so idolized. Sure, it s an okay burger for its price, especially when compared to like a Wendy s or a McDonalds, but to me, it just doesn t compare to something like Mooyah or five guys. Burger MUST be animal style (which is not listed on the menu you just have to be in on it ) to be edible, and even then it s pretty strong for me. Bun generally tastes like it came out of a grocery store bag. No flavor other than sour and salty. Fries are their lowest point for sure they taste like packing peanuts and you have to put ketchup and salt on them. Every time I ve had a shake here it s been alright though. Keep in mind also that this location is ALWAYS busy, especially in the drive thru. Plan to come inside if you re in any semblance of a hurry. Employees are always very nice and trying their best :) Parking: Parking immediately around always full and blocked by drive thru. Park at Olive Garden or great buffet next door.

I would give a 3.5 if I could. A solid burger at a very reasonable price with good service. Loses points for the uninteresting and bland fries, which hurts a lot when it is 1/4 the menu. I find the secret menu endearing, but some will find it annoying to remember. I recommend the animal style burger. Kid-friendliness: It has high seats and the boisterous dining room will probably not be bothered by kids.

This was my second time ever being to an in-n-out and it was fairly comical. My husband and I are not familiar with the menu or the slang that is used there so we go to order at the drive thru. The boy working was very kind and patient. He asks us if we ll be eating in the car. I say yes, thinking that s kind of odd to ask us that but okay we pull up to the next window. The girl working there just stares at us doesn t say a word. My husband is confused and starts ordering again eventually the girl cuts in and asks if we had ordered already and we get to the payment when we pull up to get our food, surprise surprise they hand us paper mats first! Then a box with all of our food laid out as if we were going to be eating in the restaurant. My husband and I are so confused but don t have time to ask because our baby in the car is crying. Well lo and behold we come to find out if they ask you if you re going to eat in the car they mean they ll wrap your order so you can eat in the car

First time at this place. Thought it would be decent due to the ratings. Ordered take out and waited in a long line. They must have prepared the food early this morning (the time was around 1pm). The burgers were quite small and they were cold to the touch. The onions were overpowering and I had to remove them. Unfortunately , I noticed as I was driving away from the window that everything was cold. They fries were cold and overly salted., most likely been sitting for quite sometime. Basically, one of the worst experiences I have had. I threw most of the food out as I don t trust not getting sick.

Our preferred fast-food chain in the US. Fries are natural, you can see them cutting the potatoes that they will use for your order. The meat is fresh, nothing frozen. All other ingredients are fresh too. Burgers taste like the old times and the at atmosphere is like living in the 50s again. Plus prices are super affordable. I love this iconic restaurant.

This was my first time trying In-N-Out, and I was not disappointed at all. It absolutely lives up the hype. The burger was absolutely delicious, fries definitely tasted fresh, and I wish they were done a little more, but thats just personal preference. Showed up there around 11, and it was slammed with people. The workers werent complaining, and they still treated everyone nicely even though they got a massive rush so late in the night. My daughter and I have celiac disease and are very limited as to places we can eat. In and Out is a godsend for us! The only thing that contains gluten in the whole place are the buns and they have an allergy protocol in place; they even have a button and it is printed on your ticket. All the food is fresh; The fries are made from scratch in a dedicated fryer and they have the only lettuce bun Ive ever eaten that doesnt end up on my lap! ( Ask for protein style ) Absolutely love this place!! Dietary restrictions: The only gluten in the place are the buns. Kid-friendliness: They have an outdoor area!

They got my drink order wrong again. They repeated it back to me 3 different times by three different people, and they still gave me a sweet tea instead of a Dr Pepper. 3 out of 4 drinks were correct though, just isnt the first time its happened however. I never thought I would ever have a bad review of IN&OUT. Ive been going to eat there for over 50 years. Tonight, I went and night a double protein style, fries, and water. Prices have gone up about 2 dollars in the last 3 years (inflation). I also noticed that their patties are about 30% leaner. I find that very deceitful. I understand inflation, but Im I feel ripped off, and Im saddened because I know what the companies founding father believed in and what they have always stood for. Vegetarian options: I am a regular customer and today at checkout it was unpleasant experience. My 16 yr old is always with me and he always loved the service but today. We ordered $20 worth meal, we usually spend around $20-$30. We asked for ketchup for burger and fries, cashier lych was assisting and she threw ketchup in my hands, I asked for bag which we always get in and she took it back and threw it away. When my meal arrived she hand it to me with 2 ketchup, I asked for more ketchup and she threw it in the bag. There was no sorry or thank you as if she is doing a favor. Our experience have always been best at this in and out location, we always tell our kids that this is the kind of company where they should start to learn how to appreciate customers and provide good service. When we left my son asked mom what happened why were they not friendly? I had to say that their staff might have changed. We love going to in and out. Food is great.

The secret for this location is to go inside. the cars were wrapped around the building for drive thru but we went in and placed our order almost immediately. As always so friendly and plenty of seating. My son was on a scooter for a hurt foot and we had no problem rolling in there with the ramp outside and plenty of room for him to navigate around the table.

In-n-Out, a proven 5 but we were there at lunch time on Sunday, and it did not matter that the line was to the doors, still amazing on all counts. We are used to ordering due to our former location, and despite numerous people in our party, special orders (because who doesnt love a mustard fried, double double with whole, or regular grilled onions, with mustard and chilies instead of spread, along with well done fries!). The tables were kept clean despite everyone sitting inside due to the drizzle, tables were being swooped immediately, but associates kept things tidy. Diana is a frequently seen face at the register and she is a pro at taking the most complicated order with patience, even if the customer has to stop to make sure they left off, or added everything. Orders were churned out like a well oiled machine, politely taken, and by the time we left the line was longer. The only thing that would be better would be a location closer to Prosper. Until then, we look forward to any chance to eat an amazing burger, made and delivered quickly, efficiently, along with friendly precision.

One of my favorite locations in the area , in and out employees generally happy, relaxed and serve with confidence, most will makes you feel comfortable to chose the place for a cheap burger . Parking: You will never have issue parking anytime of the day Kid-friendliness: It doesn t have a six flags for kids, but there is a small good size patio outside where they can scream and jump around away from cars without bothering everyone in a confined places . Only reason they are not a five star is they unfortunately messed up my wifes order this last time but it is understandable as she asks to remove sauce and add ketchup and mustard which is out of the norm. Whenever we go in the restaurant it is always almost full. I. believe It is just because their sauce which is mouthwatering! My kids enjoy it here and we prefer dining in. And also, they are always fast servers.
