I love taco Bruno but we went in this location and the poor employees have to work in that environment. Shame on the owners. The smell of mold was so bad. Same in frisco health department, the managers and corp! I hope an attorney get with these employees and get these employee well deserved money for horrible work conditions. I m calling anyone who will listen this is so sad. We left if the environment is this way what else doesn t work the refrigerator or pest control?

Lawsuit waiting to happen! Soaked floor with food bin catching pouring rain. No caution cone, nothing!! I told the staff and they just said I know. You can tell its been like this for awhile. Looks like ceiling tile may fall in one area, and black mold is forming. Theyd shut that place down for the shape its in. I dont want to even imagine the kitchen.

Well I haven t had Taco Bueno in a long time and I have to say that I know they can do better. I order a taco and it was 3.77 for one. I order extra lettuce and tomatoes and I was willing to pay for it. I didn t get that at all. I hope that when customers ask for something extra that it will be honorable to receive it. For the first time in a long time, the food was back to good. The taco shells were crispy, the meat was not great and runny, it was just right. The tacos had all of the fixings in them and they were generous. The bean burrito tortilla was nice and chewy not hard and crumbly, the beans were creamy and there was red sauce back in the burrito. It was a good visit. Go at 11 in the morning. Very fresh!

Taco NO bueno!!! Taco (that came in a whole lotta box) had a nasty metallic taste that made me sick to my stomach. I had a bite and spit it out. Not sure if I had food poisoning but I didnt feel so good within minutes. I will never come back, and will warn others not to order anything from this location.

My wife and I have heard of Taco Bueno both from word of mouth and commercials for years, but this was our first order. Everything was fresh and well seasoned, the food was very tasty. On par with some sit down Tex-Mex restaurants we have been too. Our only complaint was the rice, it was fresh but paled in comparison to the rest of the meal.

Food is always good Buenochilada platter is always good & enough for two meals. Staffing is always hit or miss but all fast food places are like that these days. Only drawbacks are the interior of building needs to be updated & the exterior is always very very dark. There is only one overhead light from the shopping center parking lot, little if any lighting on the bldg, making the restaurant often look like it isnt open after dark, and a little dicey for a female to be in the parking lot after 6p.

Out of Dr Pepper/Dt DP. I had 2 orders and requested separate bags,, but all was put in one bag. Ist order was a #2 (and the shells were barely filled) w/unsweet tea [I am diabetic and received a sweet tea. I requested a side of sour cream (was charged but not put in bag) & a 2nd cup of just ice (was charged $2.29, had I known I would have cancelled that. 7/11 gives free ice or only charges 50 cents for their Big Gulp cups). 2nd order was beef Chilada Platter and beans spilled out onto my tacos from the 1st order. Couldve been avoided if they had been put in separate bags as requested. I tried to call the location and the phone was on constant busy. This is not the 1st issue I have had at this location but I keep trying b/c it is so close to me and thinking they will improve. This is the last straw. I am on oxygen and could not get back out to drive back, but I will be addressing this in person. Would love to see a Taco Casa in this spot! Ticket #157 from 9/22/23 Very disappointed customer! Edit: I ve been here several times since my previous review and they have greatly improved so thought they deserved a higher rating based on more recent experiences. Keep it up. Let me start by saying I m a huge fan of taco bueno. I used to live by one in Plano and it was always amazing. This location is always disappointing. Long waits, stale chips, cold beans, my muchaco tortilla was rock hard around the edges, and don t bother asking for no tomatoes or anything else because they will still put them on. The food just never tastes fresh...

The place smelled super funky from the outside. It was empty when I went, I think people just do drive through or online pickup. I was thinking twice before entering. I give a 3 because it USED to be my favorite fast food place. Tonight I went in and was met by stares, nobody said a word, they just looked at me. Kind of strange but assume untrained people or shy naybe. Ordered and set down realized you cannot see out the windows any longer, filthy is being nice. Drinks or hot sauce running down the wall (dried) Got my meal, missing the sour cream and guacamole and the manager was training them and they both missed it. Just felt like a place that is no longer my comfort food spot. Maybe when they care enough to clean the windows and train to say hello, good bye, heck anything. First off, the food at this location is very good. I rarely eat at Taco Bueno, so, I decided to place an online order so I could take my time looking at the menu and choose what I want. Placing the order was simple. I go to the drive thru to pick up my order, like I ve done other times, and I was told, Your order isn t ready. It ll be ready in five minutes. Come in and wait for it. I told him no, I ll just come around in five minutes. So I park and wait six minutes. I rejoin the now long line and told him I m here to pick up my order. He says drive around but I here another voice say, Tell him to come in. He begins to repeat what he s told as I pull forward. After arriving at the window, the manager tells the worker to tell me to come in. He says I have to come in. I calmly told him no. Then he asks me why. I told him, Because I ve picked up online orders in the drive thru before. When I placed the order the website didn t state that I have to pick up the order inside. The manager, with an irritated tone tells the worker, Just tell him to pull up to the front. I pulled up and waited 10 minutes for my food. After it was brought out, I checked the food and it was cold, items were missing, and all the extra sides I ordered (and paid for) were not in the bag. The drive thru was wrapped again so I just went home. I shouldn t have been told/asked to pick up my order inside, which was sitting on the counter. Then to be asked why I can t get out is nobody s but mine. I know I sound like a Karen, but this was the first time I ve ever had an experience like that. From now on I will not place an online order from Taco Bueno.

Usually decent food but today the whole place was off. My order was incorrect I had ordered 3 tacos with sour cream, and 3 tacos no tomatoes 1 combo burrito and 1 party taco and party burrito. 1. No taco had tomatoes not 1 at all. 2. No taco had sour cream 3 my party taco only had half the shell, great for a kid to eat 4. I could see the staff was having issues. 5 an older gray hair lady tosses my food onto a table and made an angry gesture at the kid working the window. 6 I saw several cars have to go into the store to get items left out of their bags. 7. Great value for money. Decent taste and good variety makes it a nice place to dine. The salad bar is however closed.

Food is okay, but the drive thru is pathetic. Their dine room seems closed, thus doesn t provide the salsa bar. Always loved their beef mucho nachos, quesadillas, street tacos. They should improve their drive thru wait times.
