I have witnessed, firsthand, family conflict and the challenge of making financial decisions while mourning and find great satisfaction in helping others create plans that provide peace of mind. My practice focuses on providing wills, trusts, incapacity planning, asset protection, and minor child planning for clients in Frisco, the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and virtually across the state of Texas. Kamilah and Elizabeth were great! They helped us as a young married couple get a trust and pour-over-will setup that will help keep us protected! It took over a month to have a consultation with Ms Henderson as her schedule was booked out for consultations until that time. My domestic partner and I had our free one hour consultation but it started out rocky when she asked how long we had been domestic partners and stated that it was unlikely he was covered under my legal plan. Her questions were very thorough as we do not have a very straightforward situation but it seemed that Ms. Henderson was ready to move forward. She explained that she would send a follow up agreement for us to sign so we could move to the next steps in planning. Almost 3 weeks went by and nothing was sent. I called and emailed asking when we would receive the agreement. Another week went by and I received the following note from her paralegal stating - we regret to inform you your plan does not cover your partners document prep and, due to the complexities of your planning, you should find an attorney better suited to handle them. Ummm, what??? Apparently, Ms Henderson is not as good as she pretends to be since our non-traditional arrangement seemed too much for her to handle. Additionally, I called my legal plan myself, and my domestic partner is absolutely covered. Take your business elsewhere.

Kamilah Henderson and her team are amazing! I delayed and delayed and delayed the process of getting my estate in order. When I finally got it together, the process was seamless and so easy. Kamilah and her team understood exactly what I was trying to do and put it all together expeditiously. I highly recommend her office!

Kamilah and her team was amazing to work with. First, my husband and I interviewed several attorneys for our estate planning for we had a lot of questions for this important decision we were making for us and our family. Kamilah answered all of our questions and much more. Second, she was so patient and caring with us that we could tell she loves what she does AND she knows her stuff. It was an easy decision for us to hire her to do this important work for our family.Third, although it a was difficult topic to discus, she made it very simple to talk about and she executed in a timer manner.
