I m not really the one to do reviews and make a big deal about bad experiences but it s been about 2 weeks and I still find myself upset. I absolutely hate wasting my money on a terrible experience and terrible food. In this case the customer service was trash!!! I don t understand how this business is running at the charge of teenagers and no type of management. I wasted over an hour of my afternoon here for 3 of the smallest slushees. A whole group of 10 came in after me, ordered, paid and immediately started receiving their orders! And another family before that group and I was still waiting!!!! Tell me why did I have to wait 40 minutes for my order? When I asked the girl at the register, who was restocking after she completed the other orders, how much longer do I have to wait? Every one else has gotten their order and I m still waiting. She gave me the most annoyed look and asked me what did I order? I am absolutely furious at this point but I kept my composure because not only did I have my kids there but the group after me were kids also so I did not want to get ugly in front of them. After I told her my order she looks back at the kid shaving the ice and they looked clueless. She proceeds to tell me that she s sorry they got caught up doing other stuff. This is the last thing I want to hear as a customer. What kind of excuse is that? There is no way they just forgot I was a customer waiting for 3 slushees! Did they think I was just standing the the pick up order area for my own entertainment??? Like seriously this is ridiculous. After that I still waited another 10 minutes and I had to ask the other girl who was working the drive thru line if I could just get my money back and of course she was confused because she wasn t the one who took my order so she looked back at the kid shaving the ice and he asked me what my order was and there I go again for the 3 rd time telling them my order! He then asked me if I still wanted my money back or if I wanted my order. At that point I wanted to LEAVE! My kids were anxious and ready to go! I had a 1 year old who wants to run around but the floors were disgusted I didn t want to put him down. He still loses his balance. Anyways I tell him what s going to be quicker? He said the order, so ok I waited on the order which I regret because I was too pissed off to even drink my slush, it melted and I threw it away. The only reason why I kept the order was because I didn t want to ruin it for my kids who had been excited to try their sweet treat. Forward to the next day I call to speak to a manager and guess what? He s not there yet. She tells me he ll be in at 3 and this was around 2:30. I call back again after 4 she tells me she s sorry she got the schedule mixed up he won t be in til 7. She then tells me that she can give me his personal number and I told her I m not doing that. From my perspective I would hate to be contacted about work problems outside of work hours and if we re honest the managers never really give a damn anyways not the employees! So she told me she could have him and her boss call me back as soon as they come in so I give her my phone number. And GUESS WHAT!?! NO ONE EVER CALLED!! Not that i was even expecting it at this point because the staffing is just lousy! The care is not there! Or maybe it was a discrimination thing I don t even know at this point all I know is my time and money was wasted and those are two things that I value. I work hard everyday, my time is something no one can ever give me back! So since no one wants to address the problem here is a nice review for guys! Get some better management, better staff! Push better customer service. I am in the customer service field as well. I understand when customers come in automatically being assholes and also when as employees you ruin it for the customers and you should be able to take accountability and compensate for the bad service!!! That s it! I just wanted to get this off my chest.

Weve been in line for 30 minutes and theres still 2 cars in front of us. I did not set aside 45 minutes of my day for snow cones, I dont feel like it should take that long either. Rather go with the small stands than a piss poor franchise. We drove through because the tables are usually dirty inside. Edit to add: we finally got to the window after an hour wait. I asked the boy if he was aware and he rolled his eyes at me and gave me a very fake apology. They also got the order wrong.

Was ignored at the speaker for 5 mins. Get to the window and the young lady had the audacity to ask me to circle back around and get back in line behind 5 cars because they ignored me at the speaker! I wish I could rate 0 for horrible customer service! Update after response from owner . There was one car ahead of me and no one behind me initially. The point is you shouldn t ask a customer to get back in line behind 5 others after they have already waited. It s tacky and rude!

I used to come multiple times a week for a pickle snow cone. Around May I had come and they were out of that flavor. Stopped by about a week later and got one and it tasted terrible! I haven t gone back until today. It was worse than before. Not sure if my order just coincidentally got screwed up twice but the one today didn t taste anything like pickle. It was very bitter. Tastes very chemically.

I ll start by being positive because the girls working there were hustling and working hard. Other than that, the place is a cluster. Each order is placed on the counter and the employee yells out the flavor. My order was taken by a guy who came in 10 minutes after us. So many customers walk up to the counter and have no clue if it s their order or not. They all just stared at each other. It took them 15 minutes for them to re-do my order and we were there for 40 minutes for 2 items. All the tables were sticky and the floors were sticky and dirty.

I could not have been happier with my experience at the Bahama bucks on legacy in frisco. Just this summer I have been a handle full of times, and I have to note that this business is the epitome of a well oiled machine . Down to the management, service, and attention to detail with every snow cone, I can t imagine choosing any other dessert establishment over this bucks. Upon walking into the store it is clear that the employees enjoy their jobs, they have done a great job of fostering such a welcoming environment for customers. I personally take cleanliness very seriously, and considering that this store is a snow cone shop with lots of families coming in and out I d expect a little messiness here and there, but no. This Bahama bucks has cleanliness down to a science, I don t know how they do it. They are often a highly visited establishment throughout all hours of the day, and yet the staff still manages to pay close attention to each customer and maintain a healthy and inviting environment. I truly couldn t say enough good things, well done.

I am not one to leave bad reviews often but Im highly displeased with my experience today. I walked in and was waiting to be served at the counter while a group of teenage girls stood in the back and continued to chat and ignore me. I know they heard me come in because a doorbell sound alarms every time the door is opened yet they chose to ignore me. I stood at the counter and waited for an employee who came out of the restroom to take my order. He was kind and polite and the only good interaction I had. I went to sit at a table and was disgusted at the state of the inside. The floors were DISGUSTING! Very dirty, sticky, and looks like they havent been mopped in ages. The tables were also very nasty. All sticky, stained, and covered with dirty napkins. I didnt even want to sit inside because of how nasty everything looked and felt. I didnt even want to touch the trashcan to throw my cup away because it was NASTY looking!! The teenage girls were just all in the back giggling and gossiping loudly to where all I could hear was their business. I get that girls will be girls but very unprofessional looking when the inside of your work place is absolutely disgusting and you still decide to do nothing while working expect loudly talk about high school drama and who cheated on who. Like I said- I was once a teenage girl who wanted to talk to my coworkers 24/7 but I also know that I had job responsibilities and ignoring a customer and ignoring the cleanliness of your work place is not a great look. They even argued in front of me about who was gonna mop an area in the back where one of them spilt something. I badly wanted to suggest that they mop the whole place. I could understand if they were busy and swamped with a ton of customers but I was the only one in there. For being in Frisco, I expected way better service and cleanliness. I have been a diehard bahama bucks fan since I was a child and this was by far the nastiest location Ive been to. I had a baby in a high chair with me and even though I was the only one in there sitting the girls couldnt have the common courtesy to bring my snocone to the table so I had to bring my baby out of the high chair (surprise, high chairs were also nasty) and go back up to the counter to get it. Just no customer satisfaction here whatsoever. I eventually just left because I felt like I was gonna lose my mind sitting in filth listening to teenage girls complain about altered state shirt prices. Again- if the restaurant was up to par and clean then chat away but its a big turn off for customers to 1. be ignored. 2. not be served. and 3. have to deal with filth . Definitely not something Id expect from a Frisco business. Im sure a lot of drive through people wouldnt be stopping there if they knew what the inside looked like.

Teenage cashier lacked customer service skills. Perhaps she was too busy complaining about my credit card not having tap to pay to her peers to engage or thank me upon receiving my order. What s more, one of my orders had a leak in the cup that went everywhere in my car. The manager reached out to me but couldn t seem to get my name correct in his pre-generated email template. Piss poor all the way around. Won t be back.

I told the person over the speaker that I had a mobile order & even have the name. When I got to the window he confirmed someone else s order. My snow cone came with a flat time when it shows I picked the other lid, the cup itself was covered in the ingredients used to make the snow cone, and it wasn t cleaned off before being handed to me.

I used to go to the one in Frisco every weekend because my kids love it but the service on the weekends is terrible and I now I try to avoid going there .the kids are laughing and playing in the back ground and taking wrong orders or you have to repeat your order 5 times because they are playing and laughing in the back .

Been wanting to try this for a while and finally got the chance today. My husband got the dreamsicle sno, and I got the wavebender smoothie. Both were very good! The sno has a scoop of vanilla ice cream at the bottom and super flavorful snow cone shaved ice with orange and cream. Fun Facts: The spoons are color changing!!! They get dark blue in cold and go back to light teal when warm. You can also make your own flavors OR go with the menu items. They sell a cooler full of snowballs AND a DIY kit for parties and family gatherings. The girl who took our order was nice, helpful, and made our orders to perfection. The music in the restaurant was light, upbeat, and good for setting the mood. The decor was everything youd expect from a place called Bahama Bucks.

My son loves the snow cones so we have been here a good amount of times. Today when we were there we had to park at the medical offices next door because literally every parking spot was taken up by the construction workers trucks that were working on the site next door. Also when we we walked in to order, there were two staff working and both were so engrossed with being on their phones they didn t notice us. Other experiences there have been better.

First off I left this particular location not that long ago and I encountered a bad experience. I feel as though the workers do a lot of horse playing and not working. I came through the drive thru and I already told the lady the first time that I wanted extra juice on my pink lemonade snow cone before it was made she understood from what I thought. Apparently she didn t get it, because when she gave me my snow cone I can see that it was barely enough juice on top of it, it was still ice with no juice. I proceeded to tell her once again, she went to go back and put more juice but as I was eating it, when I got to the middle of eating there was nothing but a lot of ice and not juice. I understand drive thru was a bit busy but that s doesn t make any sense what so ever to not active listen to what your customers are actually paying for. Word of advice at this location, train these employees to listen to the customer and do things correctly instead of the complete opposite when they stated the very first time. Last time EVER to come to this location try the one in Allen that one is the best!!!!

I paid $8 for half a cup of shaved ice... Only the top portion had a little bit of flavor, the rest was packed with plain shaved ice! We waited in line for some time with no response and figured it was broken and pulled up. They were very irritated by this decision. It wasnt busy, only one car ahead of us. I further upset them when I asked for a spoon and napkin. I never get a thank you at this location... this should be a fun place, its sno cones for Gods sake! Soon after we left, we realized they only put syrup in the top 1/3 of the cup. I think this was the pay back for pulling forward in the line after no response. This place has a lot of employees with no one working. Visually it looked like a hot mess in there.... garbage on floors, disorganization. Its like going to the mean girls sno cone hut. Weve given this place several chances and too much of our money and time. Such a disappointment.... Will miss the cotton candy cones.

We went to this location last week and ordered two sugar free items and a snowball for our dog w/o whipped cream (he is allergic). When we got to the window they handed us a snowball with whipped cream and we let them know, so they removed it (no problem here). The sugar free options looked like they had sprinkles or something in them so we double checked that they were sugar free and they told us, yes. When we got home and ate them we quickly realized that was a lie. Unfortunately ,we realized this because it made me incredibly sick. They should be careful with things like this. It can literally be life threatening for some people. Sugar free options are not just utilized by people wanting to lose a few pounds. Sometimes it is a medical necessity. We emailed the management using the form on their page and never received a response.... disappointed is an understatement.

I visited this location since I had other errands in the area and wanted to buy a bottle of syrup and try an unfamiliar menu item. I enjoyed a strawberry freezecake smoothie. Service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and professional. Id like to emphasize that Bahama Bucks flavored syrups use sugar rather than high fructose corn syrup, so Id recommend visiting Bahama Bucks to get flavored syrups for ones own beverages such as Kool-Aid or lemonade.

We walked into the place and noticed a strong smell and the floor was very sticky inside. One of the girls behind the counter was sticking her bare hands into the gummy bear toppings and eating out of it while we ordered. GROSS. One of our snow cones was finished and was sitting on a surface behind the counter for 5 minutes before someone finally picked it up and handed it to us. Last night we arrived at bahama bucks within 10 min of closing. Although the door, like all businesses, had the verbiage that it must remain unlocked during business hours, it was locked. After getting into the line for the drive thru we waited to get to the speaker to order. I noticed someone had come out to take orders and assumed it was because it was almost closing time. A young girl took the order of the truck in front of us where a lengthy conversation was had along with laughter and conversations that had nothing to do with their order. She then ignored my vehicle completely and headed back inside. I tried to get her attention by saying excuse me loud enough for her to hear and she continued to ignore me and go inside. I pulled up to the door where I could be seen by those inside and a man came to tell me they were closed. I proceeded to tell him I had been there prior to closing and was also ignored by the young lady who had told him I was outside just then. He threw out a less than genuine apology and said we cant serve everyone with a shrug. I have always loved Bahama Bucks and this location has always been okay compared to others, but this experience definitely put a bad taste in my mouth.

I don t know what is going on with this location but it has been so disappointing lately. My husband took my son tonight. When he got home to eat his snow cone it was so sparse on syrup and the lime flavor was off. It just tasted like sugar mostly. Last time we went one of the cups was cracked and my daughter s drink spilled staining my car. I think it might be time for us to just stop going here considering the quality is not what it was years ago. It hasn t been the same the last year or so.

I pulled up to the speaker and waited a few minutes. No one responded so I pulled up behind the car ahead of us in line, thinking they were taking orders at the window. Then someone took the order of the car behind us. We got out of line and drove back around to order. Then sat in line 10-15 minutes. The ice was hard; must have been sitting all that time.

I understand you close at 9pm. But when Im clearly in your drive thru line at 8:55pm you would think someone would answer. I sat there for 9 mins until someone decided just to turn off the OPEN sign. Post you are closing before 9pm.

Was gifted three smoothies, delivery. Didn t ring the doorbell so they sat outside in the summer heat for 30 mins before I figured I should check. Had to throw one away coz it had two flies enjoying the smoothie! Nothing more appetizing than seeing flies in your drinks. Horrible delivery service!!!

I waited in the drive through for 15 minutes. Totally understandable because it was very hot today and they were busy. No one answered at the menu and the cars before me pulled up 2 car lengths so I pulled up to order at the window. I waited a solid 2 minutes to order, but no one answered. I get to the window and tell them no one answered while I was at the menu and order and then blonde girl tells me to pull back around through the line. I said that s ridiculous because I just waited in line, so I asked if I could just pick them up inside to which she said yes. I then had to wait another 20 minutes to get my 2 small snowcones. I don t care how busy they are, it should not take me over 40 minutes to get 2 simple cones. Will not come back here.

got the strawberry, but it was so bland and bitter. the teens are nice, but i saw this one teen picking his nose then serving drinks in the drive thru. for my first time here, it was a bad for a first time. don t think i m coming back here soon. going to the snow cone lady!

Favorite go to place in summer to get shaved ice. They have plenty of options to chose from. For people that love extreme sweetness, you ll find decent options here, like oreo one. Their fruity flavors are good and they also sell bottles of the flavors if you want to buy your favorite. They shave ice too granular. Somewhat grainy ice may take it to next level. Also, they dont have samples, so you have to keep trying until yoy find your favorite one. Tables outside are not cleaned frequently

Every year I literally look forward to my first snow cone of the summer season and this trip was a let down. For as long as the line and the wait is the quality definietly wasnt worth it. I ordered a small two-flavored flat top (no cone for those not familiar with snocone) and what I got had almost no flavor less than halfway through it with lots of white where there wasnt any flavor. Im only giving this 2 stars because apparently theyve stopped doing the punch cards (even though the sticker is still on the window as of 6/14) they did honor mine.

** Follow up to the below review. The owner reached out and reviewed the charges. He made everything right which is so important. He was extremely personable and did the right thing. I would recommend this business which is why I updated it to a 5 star. Went through the drive thru and the young man taking the order took my credit card and charged it. When I got to the window the girl asked me for payment again. I explained we had paid. She said it did not go through and asked for my card. Since my Chase app was delayed we did not see the payment come through the first time we gave her the card. After we left two payments went through. Since the place was so packed and very chaotic we did not go back. I never write a bad review but they need to get it together.

hit or miss sometimes, is definitely over priced, but Im hooked on the coconut kolana they also dont know how to use the punch cards. I never got one of my punch cards back and it had three or four punches. :-/ my fault for driving away.

1st visit and not impressed. The girl that took our order around the corner was nice. However when we pulled up to the dirty windows OMG, all the teenagers stopped to look out. One appeared to be picking her nose. I started to decline the drinks but they were already being handed to me. My mom and I both ordered the oreo smoothie and it was VERY nasty. I cldnt take more than 2 sips. My mom on the other hand drank half as it was 99 degrees out and hot out. She had stomach issues 2 days straight. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

I love Bahama Bucks, I really do! But this location is full of teenagers running the shop, WHICH IS FINE, if they spent less time talking and playing around and focused on the orders they need to fulfill. The line was around the building and and it took us 40mins to get ours. Im not mad, but it makes me want to visit less, if the employees wont work when the demand needs it.

The line was a little long, I went in the drive thru it was wrapped around the building. I ordered for myself and my son, the shaved ice was soft and the flavors were great. The guy taking orders was really nice, he recommended things to try. He also would politely inform ppl in cars that skipped the line where they can go to get in line/ where the line began to keep things fair. I really appreciated that. The kids working the window were pleasant as well.
