A nice place to relax and hike/bike Playground: They have a decent sized playground Dog-friendliness: Dogs will love it, as there is a large circular trail and plenty of grass to run. Picnic area: There are benches scattered around for picnics

It is a beautiful city park with a well-maintained walking trail. There were also picnic tables, BBQ stoves, and a playground for children aged 2-5. Youll find enough parking also. Playground: Theres a playground for 2-5 years old. Picnic area: Some picnic table with bbq option.

Nice, secure and clean trail...Frisco workers were there to gather trash-Thank you! Playground: Well built and appears relatively new. Dog-friendliness: Safe to walk dogs on a short lease-be sure to take bags to clean-up. Picnic area: Throughout park-nice!

The playground was fun for the kids. Walking pavement was okay. Lots of uneven pavements at the park. The good thing is that this park connects to long trails. Also, people dont know how to pick up their dogs poop especially when they poop on the walkway, which is really annoying.

Nice little park. They have a bicycle station and a nice gazebo. A few picnic tables including covered ones. Running trail but no bathrooms. The parking lot is a little small but given the size arent too many visitors at at a time. Playground has small kids and bigger kids sections with swings.

A nice walk for the spring, winter and fall to see a snapping turtle or three in the pond and stream. Children are safe.

Overall, it is a decent local park to go for a walk. My greatest complaint is if you decide to walk further away from the playground where the pond is, be very cautious because it never fails that an inconsiderate neighbor lets their dog run off leash which is a huge hazard. For reference, it is a large black dog. I am actually getting tired of having to watch out every time I go for a walk, but I like the park and find it unfair to have to go out of my way and find another place to walk only because people are irresponsible. For the most part, the park is very clean, however there is at least 2 or 3 sights of dog waste left on the ground for us visitors to walk over every time.

Nice, clean park. Walking trail. Green space. Plenty of parking. The pavilion and the playground are both a good distance from the parking area, so if you are, or have with you, a person who is mobility challenged, you might scout out a different place. Otherwise a good park.

Great place to bring kids and your pets. Peaceful place to take a nice bike ride or go for a walk. The play area is well built for the kids to play. The Beavers Bend Trail, starting from 4th Army, has a good length for all the walking and biking you could do in the world. Some restrooms would be nice though.

Always a fun getaway for the family and I,, we sneak off to get away from the busy big city life we deal with,,,,definitely a great lake for the boat, marina is always nice an clean, bring the fishing poles too, you can always rent a cabin and stay as long as you want thats what we look forward to for sure a fantastic family time

Great playground! Area for big kids and an area for little guys. TONS of picnic areas around. And one great trail!!! You can go down and check out Stewart Creek that filters into Lewisville lake. They also have a little pond that we saw some fishing in. Weve lived in Frisco 5yrs and never knew about this little gem until today!.....Its ok. Very few off concrete trails for exploring. This area has great potential to be similar to arbor hill nature preserve. If you really want to do some off road hiking its worth the drive to the Plano preserve

Lovely place to hang out. If you just want to have the kids play on the playground there is still a bit of nature right next to the playground. If you want to take a walk you can wander down the path behind the houses and get in the trees/brush and down to the creek. Make sure that you wear shoes you dont mind getting muddy if you go to the creek.
