The croissant and cafe latte were fantastic. The barista made a delicious cafe latte the only problem was that she forgot my order, which happens, curiously the other two attendants didn t bring it to her attention while they saw me sitting at the counter waiting fifteen minutes.

Me and a Co-Worker were referred over by a friend, so we decided to stop by before our shift this morning. They have two people running the entire cafe (dine-in and takeout). I waited half an hour for 2 coffees to-go. On top of that, I specifically asked for my coffee not to be sweetened and I ended up getting an iced coffee that tasted like chocolate syrup. First impressions matter, won t be coming back nor recommending this place to any of my colleagues.

Breakfast pastries are as good as they are beautiful. Breakfast sandwiches were prepared perfectly with creamy eggs and farm style bacon. Definitely feel like this restaurant is underrated.

3rd update- I have increased my review to 4 stars, they serve many options now and have opened on Mondays. They were also very allergen friendly to my sister (gluten) and myself (dairy) with their drinks and food as much as whats on the menu. *Update* This is really unfortunate, because again I like their coffee, but they no longer allow to modify their food menu and I must reduce this review to 2 stars. I can no longer eat their breakfast sandwich because they will no longer allow modification to replace their bun made with Milk, to a sourdough bread without milk even though they have other items using the sourdough. Now all of their menu options have dairy and they wont make exceptions. Too bad. *Orig 3 star review* I absolutely love their coffee and crossiants and their breakfast sandwich. Why the 3 stars? They only stay open until 3, and then they switch menu at 11am and dont serve breakfast anymore. Then they are closed on Mondays. Lots of restrictions that are unnecessary. If you continue to only stay open till 3 why switch menus? Lots of people have different schedules and different food allergies that only support your breakfast menu. This location with the expansion of the star and everything that is here could support them to stay open till 6 or 7pm and open up on Monday! Ill continue to come and support them because the coffee is good and if I can get here before 11am continue to eat their very good breakfast sandwich.

Best Croissants in Texas. Every time I come here the croissants are always fresh, flaky, and delicious. I also like their blueberry scone and Danish. The egg saint and shoestring fries are also good, but when I recently visited the taste was not the same for me. I like my fries more crispy, but it was a little soft for my liking. Also, the service is a bit inconsistent depending on who is working there, there is one female worker that has been working there for a long time, her service is Top Notch, but I find some of the other employees inconsistent in the service they provide.

My mother and I went in last week and the baristas were being lectured by who I assume were the managers ( who did not seem to be helping them by the way.) The people at the front were very helpful with deciding on what to order. The food however took almost 30 minutes to come out and was not good enough to compensate. I would put 1 star, but the baristas were outstanding. The young man at the counter was able to translate the menu for my mother and the lady who made our drinks did an amazing job. The owners needs to get their priorities in order.

This was a very disappointing experience. I drove over 20 minutes for this coffee place because of the good reviews I came around noon and they were completely out of all pastries. The coffee was the worst. I ve had taste extremely burnt and sour. It took 15 minutes to get my latte, they charged me twice on accident and were not able to refund me.

Nice simple spot. Ordered a dirty chai and 2 chorizo and egg croissant sandwiches. Dirty chai wasn t too sweet, it was not the best one I ve ever had but still pretty good. Croissant sandwich was yummy, very crispy buttery croissant. The inside ambiance didn t have too much going for it, very basic decor, but still a good spot if you want to get some work done or have a quick coffee & a bite.

We came by for a cup of coffee while we were out and about. I was very pleased by how well made my latte was. The crossiant was one of the best Ive experienced. The pastry was crispy on the outside and airy on the inside. I was told they make all of their pasties in-house and will have to visit again earlier in the day to try their other selections. The sitting is limited, so I wouldnt find it as a place to sit and work on my computer or read a book. We just came by to enjoy and left within 15 minutes.

I arrived right before closing. The young lady was understanding and made my drink. I ordered a honey lavender latte with oat milk double shot of espresso. It did not meet my expectations. I m not sure if it was the ingredients or proper measurements. It left a bitter aftertaste. Small space, plain wood decor; not a place I would stay in long. In response to the owner: I appreciate your quick response to my review and would like to challenge your assumption. The coffee shops I go to are mom and pop shops that sell this type of latte; I order double shot espresso and more often than not it tastes great!

A friend of mine and I happened upon this place when we were looking for a coffee shop to meet and catch up. We prefer to visit the local shops as opposed to the big chains like Starbucks. We previously enjoyed going to Golden Boy Coffee and were disappointed to learn that they closed, but we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this shop. I had the iced matcha latte and it was absolutely delicious. Most matchas arent sweet, but this one was perfectly balanced and my friend said she will l likely get it the next time we go. They have a small menu but the food is really good. We got the avocado toast with bacon and the egg over easy. The bread was toasted perfectly - not too hard and not too soft and just the right amount of butter for flavoring. The bacon was also not too crispy or soft. The ladies did a really great job with the drinks and the food and provided excellent recommendations. My friend and I are looking forward to our next catch up meeting and will definitely be heading to this coffee shop again.

This rating is strictly for the pastries which are made in house. We got the butter, almond, and chocolate croissants. Overall, really impressed with the quality for a coffeeshop. The butter croissant was crispy on the outside and very moist and buttery on the inside. Really enjoyed it. Almond croissant was also very good. Chocolate croissant was a little sweet for my liking and it had the chocolate spread on the inside. Edit: Updating for coffee. Flat white came out extremely watery and completely wrong. Pretty disappointing since the pastries are good but knocking off some stars off the rating.

This place is amazing! The owner and his staff make many things from scratch everyday here, including: the pastries, hamburger buns, bread for toasts, and sausages. For so many things being made from scratch, the price is extremely cheap. The owner should be charging much more for the amount of labor and love it takes but he does not because he wants his customers to enjoy his food at a reasonable price. All of his staff are friendly and extremely helpful. We go here very often because of the warm atmosphere and amazing food and drinks. The restaurant is also located in an absolutely gorgeous place of Frisco known as Hall Park, which is next to the Star. This place is perfect for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Bring your family for a quick meal and take a stroll by Hall Park afterwards!

Going in, I was really excited to try another coffee shop. It seems like there are so many of these cozy, relaxing, and high-quality coffee places! This one stood out from the others with their baked in house pastries. Their coffee was great, but their cronsanwiches (croissant sandwiches) are the real star of the show. I got the Becky (bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant) was so decadent and filling. It was pretty expensive at $8, but it was so worth it! The croissant really carried the sandwich because of its flaky, airy, texture and its buttery flavor.

In a nutshell: Their pastries are out of this world, its a nice place to meet a friend or have a lunch date, and they offer consistent service. We cant wait to try more soon! -- If youre wondering if you should try this restaurant - you should. Were always impressed with the quality of food and their portions always leave us full. Weve tried the Blueberry Scone (amazing) the Becky (my fave) the Lox (soo tasty and flavorful) the Plain and Almond Croissants (huge, flaky, and just perfect) and the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Weve eaten here for Dine-in, Take-out, and Delivery. Of these three options, my favorite two are Dine-in -- very modern aesthetics, nice music, and they bring the food to you, and Delivery -- food arrives well-packaged, correct, and piping hot. My least favorite experience was take-out. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options: all Pastries, Avocado Tartine, the Egg Saint, Yogurt & Granola, Fries, etc. They even have an a la carte menu.

Not really an early riser, so I tend to miss breakfast. That said, one early morning, I just stumbled upon this gem by happenstance. Boy, was it the most serendipitous thing that ever happened to me. The food was ah-maz-ing!! I grabbed an Egg Saint and let me tell you this, it was definitely a saint, because it took me right to heaven. The eggs are cooked to perfect temperature, nice and creamy, not like the typical dried-out diner eggs. Also, I ordered a Vietnamese coffee which admittedly, didn t taste true to an authentic Vietnamese coffee, which is usually darker/richer, but it was still delicious. The ambience was nice. Could use a little more decor to cozy it up a bit, but I believe they re still adding more to it. All-in-all, would I recommend? HECK YES!!! Don t hide your wife/husband and kids, but show them here instead. They will love you unconditionally. I m definitely coming back to try their almond croissant. I was tempted to buy it, but a man can only eat so many pastries in the morning. Like Arnold, I ll be back

First time here. I ordered a medium hot chocolate which was amazing and came out really good. The place is really clean and nice. However I had my headphones in but had turned the music off while I was waiting/ordering and heard the girl who was making my hot chocolate ask the cashier if she was sure my order was togo and she told her yes. I dont think she knew I could hear her because she looked at me and smiled after she said that to the girl making my drink. Well it wasnt to go because I was stopping here to drink my hot chocolate, do some paperwork for minute, and then go to my shift. I mean I wasnt asked if I was ordering to go or not. The lady after me who ordered her hot drink and sat down got her drink in an actual mug and was served at the table she was sitting. Which is fine. Just that whole thing felt a little off. Almost like the cashier didnt want me sitting in and drinking my drink? Idk thats just how it came off to me. Regardless the drink was amazing and much better than other coffee places Ive been to so Ill be back when I have work in this area.

I had scrambled eggs and bacon, although doesnt seem like much, but of often butchered!! The eggs were well seasoned and soft scrambled just the way I like them(most places I have to ask for runny scrambled eggs and pray to the Almighty they stumble upon a decent soft scramble). For my beverage I had a Dirty Chai that was well balanced and the perfect sweet and strong (like I like my men The girls had a combination of Blueberry Scones, Chocolate Croissant, that had enough layers to make you dizzy, and breakfast sandwiches. Rounded out with Hot Chocolate, London Fog, Vanilla Latte, and Cappuccino. Staff was attentive without being invasive and was ready to make suggestions if your not sure which delicious way to go. Amaaaazing in house made pastries... Would not have expected such quality from a fairly unassuming storefront in a strip mall. We were just searching nearby for a coffee shop in an unfamiliar neighborhood. Professional pastry chef quality croissants, and the dense, soft, perfect crusted honey roll on the kale salad was totally unexpected. Coffees great too. Ill drive back for this one we didnt take any pictures LOL

I just want to say that I rarely post reviews, but this coffee shop was such a joy to visit, I had to say something about it. First of all, I want to thank you so much for offering a Vietnamese iced coffee that you make from scratch, one cup at a time. I love Vietnamese coffees but I dont like them too sweet. The majority of coffee shops that offer them tend to pre-make it, so if you want to change up the sweetness levels, they either cant do it, or they mix it with regular iced coffee and then you lose out on the strength/boldness of the coffee. Well I finally found a place that makes it to order and I was able to get it half sweet and it was DELICIOUS! Not even a hint of bitterness in the coffee, but super strong and chocolatey finish, it was perfect. Then, the croissant. They are just as good as everyone says, however, on top of them being good, they also are not super sweet. I got an almond one and it was delicious and mildly sweet, so I was able to eat the whole thing without feeling gross after. Awesome experience, you guys are doing it right. The only downside is your store hours. I unfortunately cannot come as often as I would like to due to the limited store hours, but whenever I am able to make it, I will be back!

It was fine, but not amazing. I was disappointed to walk in and see Torani syrups. Im admittedly picky about syrups, and Torani is my least favorite. I honestly usually walk out of I see Torani, but I ended up ordering a dirty chai which was good, but not great. Husband ordered a hot latte, and that was fine, too. Customer service was great!

Fantastic giant croissant, made in house by the owners, cant beat that! One of the better mocha iced lattes I have had! This is what I expect for a decent cup of coffee but its so hard to find a good one. Wish Daily Grinds had more hours, but the way they are built, it works for them. I plan to try some other local shops, and will circle back for sure to get a larger latte to cross compare and another pasty!

The good stuff: Food was good, place was clean and prices were decent. Coffee wasnt anything special, but it did its job and I decently got what I asked for. The okay stuff: The staff was nice but not overly helpful or engaging. But they did allow us to take our time ordering and did their part. The atmosphere was very sterile and theres no real vibe to the place. I definitely wouldnt want to sit and do homework here.

I was here for 3 hours so I have a lot to say... brace yourself! Ive been on the search for a good place to study that also served Vietnamese coffee (for my boyfriend). We stopped by around 11am on a Saturday and it wasnt terribly packed. There was an adequate number of outlets with a variety of seating-- booths, tables, high top tables. The first thing you notice is the aesthetics. If I had to describe the vibe, itd be industrial chic? Im more of a tea drinker, so I got a London Fog. They didnt have this on the menu, but they had Earl grey tea and milk so voila! I was charged $2.95 which is the price of the hot tea. Kendall, our cashier, was very sweet. I try to avoid single-use plastics, so I asked if she could put my drink in a mug instead of a disposable cup, and she happily obliged. I asked for water later and again, she was able to give me a mug instead. She even dropped by my table to refill my water! Unfortunately, the London Fog had too much milk so it overpowered the taste of the tea even though I let it steep for awhile. This is understandable since I ordered something off-menu. Ill try the hot chocolate next time! My boyfriend, whos Viet, loves the strong taste of Vietnamese coffee, but he said this one was not as strong as he liked :( I wanted to try the Cinnamon Sugar Cronut when I arrived, but they were sold out and were making more. I asked about it twice while I was there and finally got to try one when it was done. It was soft, airy, and fluffy, but strangely moist in the middle. I would have liked more cinnamon sugar on it. I hadnt mentioned anything, but Kendall came to apologize to me because she just tried the cronut and admitted that the quality was not up to par with their usual standards. She offered to make it up to me the next time I come back with one that theyre proud of. I really appreciate the initiative she took to address something like this and for accommodating my requests. There are 2 gender neutral bathrooms; both were clean. But only the one located on the left has a full-body mirror. Youre welcome, ladies :) I am giving 4 stars despite the exemplary service because I have yet to find a fav menu item but love that they are working on being more consistent. I look forward to coming back to try some savory food items (The Grinder or Hangry Vegan banh mi) and hot chocolate!

From out of town and my co-workers told me to check out this amazing coffee shop. And Im so glad I did, the matcha latte that I ordered was sublime. In California Ive grown so used to places carrying Oat milk that anywhere that I travel to Id expect to have the same options in their coffee shops, but thats not the case. At Daily Grinds they do!!! Got the chance to meet John (owner) and he was so welcoming and I can get a sense of his daily grind. Im coming back to try the sandwiches, will update here soon!

I went to this coffee shop once and they were great! I was disappointed they only offer one size drink but the first time I got a coffee it was so good I wanted another so about a week later I went back.. I came in on Friday morning and ordered 2 hot drinks. They were very slow to make the coffee both times. The coffee was cold and flavorless this time my husband and I were so disappointed! one was a white Chocolate Hazelnut mocha and the other was a vanilla latte. I saw her put one pump of flavor in each drink. It was so disappointing compared to the first time. They seem to still be learning how to make coffee, it was just to Inconsistent. We won t be back. They are more expensive than Starbucks.
