20 min wait time on a Sunday morning 10am , not bad but not ideal with 3 kids. Great atmosphere , fast service . Prices are fair / competitive to every other breakfast place. All food was delicious ! Pancakes didn t taste too bland like other places. They dont charge extra for turkey subs over pork. Drinks not included for kids meals (odd, first place ever that does that). I did ask for fully cooked fried eggs, the waiter just said over hard you mean?, I mean what I said? Make sure its fully cooked, & fried (not scrambled. Not sunny side up, not raw,). Of course what I got was not fried nor fully cooked, 3/4th cooked so I couldnt finish it. Our waters never got refilled. Other than that, would come back again.

Visited on Saturday morning around 11 and had about a 20 minute wait to be seated. Service during the entire visit was SUPERB ... from the hostess at the door to the waitress ... super friendly and helpful. I had the Maple Counter Omelet with grits and pancakes. Food temp and taste were perfect and the pancakes were fluffy. The other person in my party had the Red Rock Omelet with hasbrowns and pancakes. Prices were reasonable as well. Definitely worth a repeat visit!

Wife and I came here on a Saturday morning on a whim. There were people waiting outside so we expected a wait and we were quoted 20 mins but were sat in no more than 10. Our waitress Yessica was there almost immediately taking our drink orders and gave us plenty of time to figure out what we wanted to order. I had the master s with biscuits & gravy and a side of cheese grits. Cheese grits could have used a bit more seasoning but everything else was outstanding. My wife had the Elvis waffles, different from what she usually does, and was pleasantly surprised. Food was served super quick as well. Hostess stand could ve been a bit friendlier but one person couldn t ruin this stellar experience. Highly recommend this spot for breakfast/brunch.

Ambience is decent. All the dishes we tried were well cooked and yum. They have lot of vegan options too. I am not vegan but mentioning this for people who are looking for vegan options.Though the wait time is between 30 - 40 mins, the service is really fast.

The shrimp and grits dish tastes like someone took Tabasco sauce, swirled it on top of unseasoned grits, and topped it with seasoned grilled shrimp (shell was not be completely removed at the tail) and dry bacon bits (that added no flavor, thats a first), and called that a dish. Shame shame. This dish wasnt done right - minus all stars. Go to New Orleans, and if you cant then to Ida Claires closer to the city.

Second time at Birdies and they never disappoint. The highlight of today s visit was my wonderful server Sydney- she was attentive, and nice. Food tasted good- biscuits were delicious and so were the pancakes my omelette wasn t as good however over all my experience was great! Loved my latte as well! I never write reviews but we LOVE Birdies so I figured it was time! We come almost every weekend, its a hidden gem on 380. The food is consistent, service is amazing and they are fast which is so helpful when you have a little one to tote along on breakfast trips. The staff has remained mostly the same since they opened which speaks to their service as well as how they treat their employees. You can eat as a family for an affordable cost and the serving sizes are huge. My ONLY complaint is I wish theyd leverage a delivery service but I understand the impact on margins for restaurants, I just wish I could have it in bed sometimes ;) Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free pancakes that are yummy though I cant speak to cross contamination etc. Kid-friendliness: Everyone at Birdies is our daughters bff, and they at least to pretend not to mind all the food that ends up on the floor!

Do yourself the biggest favor and eat here. I had the Butchers Block skillet and a Lemon Blueberry Mimosa and it was amazing. The sourdough toast is probably the best ever and being that they do a side like toast so well should tell you everything. This is my new breakfast/brunch spot.

Most of the food seemed to be out of a can or from a bag. Nothing I ordered (Country Fried Steak with the sausage gravy and biscuits) seemed to homemade/none mass produced. This place comes closer to a chain than a mom and pop place with food. Though they are way ahead when it comes to atmosphere. Parking: It is hard to find parking right near the restaurant. Though you can find parking farther away fairly easily.

I ve driven past this place so many times and I m glad that I finally braved 380 to get here!!! The vibe inside is so cute and clean. Our waitress was great and the rest of the staff if is fantastic. They all took the time to chat with us and make sure our coffees were always full. The owners are one of a kind and you don t see that kind of involvement in other establishments. Visited 5-20-24 We were in the area for a drs appointment and stopped by for breakfast.. Daughter got chicken and waffles. Me and wife got eggs, pancakes, bacon ,sausage, and hash browns. Daughter enjoyed the food, chicken had a nice texture, crispy, buy yet juicy. Waffle was soft on inside and crispybon outside. Wife liked her scrambled eggs, sausage was ok buy not good, and she wasnt thrilled about hash browns (and i wasnt either) Hash browns were Kinda stale and just felt rubbery. I still ate them because I hate throwing away food . Pancakes , OMG , very very fluffy, those were the first thing to go on my plate. And went well with the warm syrup. If in the area again, would come back and try something else, maybe the biscuits and gravy.

Tried Birdies for the first time today and was impressed. The restaurant is quite new and very, very clean inside and as my daughter said, has a cool vibe. Not only that but the food was quite good, the breakfast potatoes were golden brown and delicious. The biscuit was fluffy and the gravy was good too. Michell, our server was quick, attentive and very good as well. All in all we will be back with the whole family soon.

Parking: The parking is in front of the strip mall. Its much easier to find parking on Sundays! Kid-friendliness: Its really loud and they do have things for kids to eat. Loved our first visit to Birdie s. The aesthetic is cute and cozy. The food was very good and came out FAST. Jenna was our waitress and she did a fantastic job! We never had to ask for water; she was attentive and friendly. We also had two additional staff members check on us. Shoutout to the management team for their efforts in cultivating a wonderful staff! Another great plus is the bathrooms are clean AND smell good . We will definitely be back!

I found Birdie s while I was driving home one day and it seemed like they had just opened. When I found out that they served brunch, I had to take the wife and give it a try. Being a new establishment, everything had that new car smell vibe and the interior was well decorated and modern. It took us a couple of minutes to get seated since there was a wait due to brunch time traffic. They had quite a selection of dishes and drinks on their menu as it took us a minute to be able to hone in on what we wanted. I decided on the shrimp and grits while my wife got the 3 egg plate with bacon and pancakes. I also ordered their strawberry mimosa which was fantastic. I really should ve gotten another one. Or two. The service was great and our waitress was very attentive despite how busy it was. Pricing was reasonable for what was provided. The shrimp and grits were not the best that I ve but it certainly wasn t the worst. Overall, we d come back for brunch considering how close it is to home.

Wait was only 15-20 minutes on a Sunday. That in itself is great. The food actually surprisingly was very tasty. I expected something like tasteless food since they are about healthy food. However I was extremely surprised. I would most definitely come here again. Here I was thinking my wife would be the only person happy with the food.

I ordered the fuego omelette, which was decent, but somewhat small for the price. at most breakfast places, when I order an omelette, I can eat about half or a tiny bit more. With this one, I wasn t full until I had almost finished with it. It needed a little more sauce, as it seemed a little dry. My friend had been here before, and ordered the same thing (the pajarito skillet), which she really liked. Service was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the ambiance was nice, just a little loud. Id go back, but I wont order the same thing.

Been here a few times and my wife and I are quickly becoming regulars. After being in the area for 5 years, we were in need of a good breakfast spot. And I m so thankful to Birdies for filling that hole. It s not a stretch to say this is the best breakfast I ve had in Dallas and overall one of the best restaurants as well. The food is 10/10! Always hot, fresh, and comes out super fast. Not even kidding, even when it s been busy, we ve gotten our food in like 5 minutes. And it s cooked to order, nothing that has been sitting out for hours. The menu is pretty extensive as well with a lot of different options and specials. The drinks are awesome as well, especially the strawberry mimosa The service is just as good as the food, if not better! We re always greeted with warm smiles and friendly and helpful service. Ask for Jenna when you go, she always takes such good care of us! The owners also care about the community they ve chosen to put their business in, which means a lot! The environment is warm and friendly. Everything is clean and doesn t have that weird, sticky diner feel. You know what I m talking about lol I just honestly can t say enough good things about this place! The only downside is trying not to come every day!

Wow! Out town and first time here was simply amazing. The environment is really peaceful and I truly believe it s because of the staff. I saw first hand how kind they to each other and they bring GOOD energy to every table. I saw CJ at the counter recommend a customer something that she thoroughly liked and Toni was my server personally. He was great! Took my order as soon as I was ready and it was quick even though it was a busy Sunday morning. Decor is simple, classy, not too busy and space enough to accommodate a group. If you get a chance, sit at the counter where you can watch the magic happen I d definitely come back next time!

Stopped for breakfast and so happy I did. I went with the Pajarita Bowl. WOW, that was a party in my mouth. The presentation was amazing, the plate looked like art. I didnt expect that. I do have regrets now that I never took a before and after picture. I will be back just for the food. The staff are super sweet. loved them all. Everyone was on a professional but personal level the entire time. I would come here just for the service alone. Really nice environment. This place looks new and is extremely clean. I was told that Jessica is the owner and she was there greeting everyone as they arrived. Very personable and nice lady. Five thumbs up! Jessica and CJ in the Photo. They both are really easy to talk with.

Honestly wanted to love this place but when you order breakfast, the food shouldn t come out in 3 minutes later. Especially when bacon and potatoes are part of it. They were cold and the bacon was over cooked. My berry French toast was ice cold. This place is way over priced for to be served ice cold and over cooked food! Don t waste your time or money go elsewhere.

PROs: The restaurant is in a great city. Ambience & decor is good. Hostess was kind and quick to seat us. CONs: Parking is awful especially with construction going on around the place. Nonetheless, the parking doesnt appear enough to accommodate all the stores. - Service was slow; coffee went cold waiting for requested creamer. I didnt finish the coffee, it didnt taste good, I believe it was the coffee brand. - The food was bland, it reminded me of nursing home food. And the gluten free pancake had a bitter taste to it, the syrup couldnt cover up the taste. Based on other reviews we thought we would check it out but was sadly disappointed. Perhaps it was bad timing. First impression is lasting impression.

Everything was delicious! My husband and I stopped here on a whim and I m so happy we did. We ordered the French toast, breakfast scramble, the pancakes and an omelette. They did not disappoint. The single piece of French toast was fluffy and flavorful. Both omelette and the scramble were tasty and so fresh tasting!! We also enjoyed the thick pancakes which also had a unique taste to them, absolutely yummy. The interior design is very intentional, with the overall theme being bright, clean and inviting. Although it s mostly white inside with a just a few hints of green, it still manages to feel warm. Even the plates are are meant to be worn looking (very nice touch) but are obviously new and are clean and shiny. We plan to make this our new weekly breakfast place. I d recommend to anyone!

Great new breakfast spot with a wide variety of brunch options and minimal wait time (we waited less than 10 minutes on a Sunday)! We ordered the blueberry cobbler pancakes, Hollyhock benedict and biscuits w/ sausage gravy. The pancakes were delicious and perfectly fluffy, with an amazing drizzled awesomeness (maybe cream cheese frosting mixture?). The benedict was also a great combination of ricotta cheese, tomato, bacon and avocado, but the bread was very thick and toasty. If you have any temporary crowns or filings, process with caution and cut into pieces smaller instead of biting into it. I opted to just transfer it all onto a biscuit and it was much softer. In my opinion the biscuits and gravy needed more seasoning and a creamer gravy consistency, so that was just ok. Strawberry Mimosas were strong and not very sweet. I prefer sweeter, so this version may be just right for others. Overall great experience and will definitely come again!
