I ordered the bacon avocado egg white bagel. I asked for it on an asiago cheese bagel but received it on a blueberry bagel. It also had to have been sitting in the wrapper for a while because the bagel was like a wet sponge. My trash can thought it was very tasty.

**Disappointing and Consistently Inconsistent** Ive given Einstein Bros. Bagels more chances than I can count, but every time, they manage to mess up my order. Its almost impressive how consistently inconsistent they are. Whether its the wrong bagel, missing toppings, or completely forgetting the cream cheese, something always goes wrong. The quality of the food is decent when they actually get it right, but thats a rare occurrence. I ve tried giving specific instructions, ordering simple items, and even checking my order before leaving, yet I still end up with something I didn t ask for. It s frustrating to pay for something and never know if you ll actually get what you ordered. I ve finally had enough. If you want to roll the dice on your breakfast, this is your place. But if you want your order done correctly, look elsewhere.

This review is for the new store off FM 423. The bagels are NOT typical of what you get at Einstein s. You expect a true NY style bagel with hard shiny crust with soft chewy inside what you get at this store are more akin to bread like store bought bagels. I asked why the difference and they said new stores use a hard baked recipe/method. Trust me, the bagels at this store are NOT anything like Einstein bagels I ve grown accustomed to. How in the world are there two different makes of bagels??? Why they would even have a different style is beyond reason. Again just know these are NOT typical of what you get at a normal Einstein Bagel shop.

The service was pretty good. The young lady answered my questions about the menu and alterations. I got a maple bagel sandwich and a pepperoni one. The maple one was almost cold and the other piping hot. I believe it was due to that one being made first. They also forgot my spread for my regular bagel.

I loving having this (relatively) new location so conveniently located for me. The bagels are great and reasonably priced, especially if you get a Bakers Dozen box. Pro tip: when ordering ahead online you cannot easily select the individual bagels for your assorted box, but if you go into the store you can choose your 13 bagels as of whatever kind you like -- including adding in a few of the fancy gourmet ones in the mix for a slight upcharge. My favorite shmear is the jalapeño salsa. Bagels and shmear does not make for a low calorie meal, but you can reduce the calorie count by choosing the reduced fat jalapeño salsa shmear since the delightful spicy flavor makes up for the less rich reduced fat cream cheese.

The bagels are always good. We really enjoy the garlic, onion, and blueberry bagels. The specialty 3-cheese bagel, everything bagel, and cinnamon sugar bagel are also excellent. Our favorite smears are the honey walnut and the garden vegetable.

Food contamination! For all those who are halal/vegetarians/pescatarians, you cant even order items that have no meat. Just found bacon bits on my garden veggie bagel. AND they added meat to an egg/cheese bagel that didnt even have meat in the description!! We now have to order another breakfast because we cannot eat this food. So disappointed.

This is a recently opened location and for the new store they should really try harder as there are plenty other food options around. I visited this store twice, first time on the opening week and second time few weeks later. The menu choices in the phone app are very limited, literally 2-3 choices, you need to order in store if you want more options. The app provides curbside pick up option but in reality you would need to come inside the store to get your order. On the first visit the food was just OK (Texas brisket bagel). On the second visit I ordered turkey bacon avocado meal and got cold bagel with cold bacon and avocado spread, no turkey inside and about 80% full cup of ice tea. The store wasnt very busy - 2-3 customers total and about twice as many staff members working on their orders. Overall impression - so so food, poor customer service. I was quite excited to have Einstein bros location nearby but this one didnt meet the expectations.

I absolutely love Einstein Bagels. This, unfortunately, is an example of expansion that should never have happened. This location better mimics an airport outpost with a limited selection and poorly trained employees in too little space to actually work efficiently, leaving customers trying to figure out who is ordering and who is waiting for their items, while others figure out which bagels are actually available that day (hint: if youre lucky, there might be 5 or 6 choices left). Nothing friendly about the staff, because theyre too busy trying to figure out how to actually make your order - for some reason the requests you make (and which they enter into the register) doesnt come across on the back counter when theyre actually assembling the order. Do yourself a favor and skip this location. Try one of the full service locations, such as McKinney.

UPDATE: Einstein Bros reached out to me after my review and made it right by giving me a $15 credit on their app. OMG, what a difference a location makes. I went to the Plano location off of Parker rd and DNT, and ordered the exact same sandwich and it didnt even look the same as the lil baby one that I received on 423. For the same price, the Plano location gave me a brisket sandwich with 2 eggs on it and a very large helping of brisket. It was a man-sized sandwich and delicious. The serving was so big that I was able to cut it in half and eat the remainder later for my shift at work. Thanks for making this right. You must go to the Plano location. So much better. The only reason I came to this place is because I was given a gift card and I thought I would enjoy the food. NO! I ordered a brisket sandwich that was $9. They hardly put any brisket on it. Shameful for that price. I did also order a strawberry banana smoothie that was overpriced and nothing special about it. You CANNOT taste the love in this food. Very stingy serving size. My sandwich looked like I ordered off of a childs menu. Never again.

Their monday specials are the best. 13 begals for $9.99. I brought them for my office staff and they absolutely loved it. Strawberry cheese spread and jalapeño salsa is my favourite spread. My colleagues loved it. Staff is very friendly. Definitely a best bagels chain in USA. I am thrilled they finally opened a location near my house. Bagels were so fresh. 10/10

1st time physically in an EBB shop. had NO idea they actually had so many food options! Noah was so patient with me as I looked over the menu trying to decide between several different things! I went back in 2 days later! SO DELICIOUS. Noah was very kind and so friendly. food was excellent from the 2nd visit as well. cant wait to try more items. I was happy to go see Einstein Bagels come up so close. But very much disappointed in the selection and quality. This place is a very small shop and good only for take out. The selection really lacks what I am used to - no pumpernickel and no ancient grain to start with and I decided not to ask for anything else and went with what they have on the shelves. I have been going to Einstein Bagels for well over a dozen years and thats for one simple reason, freshness. The bagels I got today are so not fresh, I felt they were made a week or earlier. Hopefully not. The taste is ok, hence the two stars. The place felt so cramped with a couple of other customers, you will feel you are in a crowd. I will go to my usual bagel place, even if it is a bit far away. Vegetarian options: Plenty of bagels that are vegetarian here.

This is the definition of what corporate America thinks bagels should be. Went twice in their first week open and it was just average at best. The customer service was severely absent on my first trip, but much better on my second. The price of bagels isnt labeled clearly, I had no idea if the bagel I ordered was premium or signature. The cream cheese options are on a tiny little board on top of the bagel case, making it difficult to decide until you are right next to the cashier. The bagels themselves tasted like sandwich bread without any of the signature bagel crust. The jalapeno cheddar had five single pieces of shriveled jalapeno, leaving me without much heat or spice. The cheesy hashbrown bagel was sub par at best. Each bagel hardly looked like a traditional bagel, resembling biscuits more than bagels, why were there holes poked in the bottom of the dough? Thats not normal. And both had just the tiniest spread of cream cheese, like not enough to spread from edge to edge Surprisingly the country pepper cream cheese was delicious, so that was the most positive experience. I chose not to order a sandwich (or a burrito because thats what every bagel store needs) because I did not see a grill. There was one small convection oven being used, but the lack of traditional kitchen leads me to believe most of the sandwich ingredients are reheated and assembled as opposed to traditional cooking. For a tiny store, only a max occupancy of 13 and no indoor seating, Im not sure if this place will make it. Especially with a much higher quality bagel shop less than a half mile away.
