Went in today with my husband and the service was TERRIBLE. I asked for my wine to be sent back because it was flat and I couldn t drink it, yet I was still charged $20 for the glass. The vegetables were under done and inedible, but we couldn t get this fixed because of the lack of service from our server. Perry s being a steakhouse was very underwhelming, unfortunately the sides we ordered were much better than the actual steaks. My husband got his rare and I got my medium rare, but both were over cooked. The waitress asked us to cut into them but left the table before we could do so making it pointless. All in all the Mac and cheese and the potatoes au-gratin were great, but the steak was mediocre. For $60+ I was expecting more. Would not go back for the steak maybe an appetizer and some drinks with a different server.

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. We came for the Friday lunch and Anthony offered us exemplary service. His hospitality prowess makes you feel comfortable and welcomed in a fine dining setting. I had the lunch portion pork chop - which was still 3 fingers wide(!) - and the siracha brussel sprouts. The pork chop came with a ramekin of homemade applesauce and a side of whipped potatoes, both seasoned and cooked well. The price of $19 for such a large amount of food (brussels were + $7) was a great value for what I received. Anthony was the highlight of the meal, but the food was delicious. Great job to the Perrys team.

It was my birthday . The waiter made sure he served us like I was the queen - when he realized I was the 61 year old. There were two waiters serving. When the food came, there were 3 more. If we took a good swallow of our drink, someone was there to refill it or bring another one. No dirty plates or silware were left on the table. Now, thats service. Andrew, our waiter, was kind and friendly. He was available to answer questions, and we had a few. EXCELLENT!

I ve been eating at Perry s for over 20 years. Last night at the Baybrook location the service was good but the execution of what we ordered and how it was delivered fell below what I think a $800 ticket should be. First off my reservation was at 8:15pm. The restaurant wasn t busy and we got our table asap. After ordering drinks it took 15-20 mins to receive them. I ordered the large seafood tower and it came out. 15 mins after the tower arrived the lobster butter finally came out. It was too late and the tower was already eaten. I asked the server what happened and she said they just told me to bring the butter out. Ordered the porterhouse for 2. It was cooked properly but no where on the menu did it say anything about blue cheese being on the steak. I hate blue cheese and was very disappointed to have to eat something I absolutely despise. We left half the steak on the plate that had blue cheese on it and had to eat around it. I mentioned to several of the servers and no one seemed to care about how I felt. So we paid our bill and left. We were the last table to leave after the restaurant closed. I hope you have a better experience than me if you decide to eat at Perry s - Baybrook.

Perry s is expensive, but definitely worth every penny. Expect to pay $110 per person and that includes the NON alcoholic drinks and the tip. The food is great especially the steaks. The service sometimes it depends who your server is! So it could be good or excellent. I recommend this restaurant for your special occasions. During weekends you may need a reservation, otherwise expect a long wait time. If NO near parking spots available I would recommend using the adjacent valet parking for $10. Parking: There is a valet parking right next to the restaurant $10 per car with No time limit. The other free parking you need to walk between 50-150 yards.

My husband and I were both pleased by everything. It was our first time at Perry s but it s somewhere well recommend and come back to. Dim, warm atmosphere with open view of the kitchen line, food was beautiful to look at and tasted amazing and the service was so personable and kind. I communicated that I was pregnant and couldn t have certain foods so they gave me the best option and over all liked. Overall service was perfect! They (server and trainee) were confidence and organic when speaking. Little interruptions and no awkward moments when it s bad timing or trying too hard to make conversation. Was pleasant. I ordered the Surf and Turf. Came with angel pasta noodles with tomatoe sauce, steak and lobster tail. I thought it ll be too much but it was portioned perfectly and was excellent. Really nice in the eyes too - Artful. I however have 1 suggestion. For first time goers the entrance was a little tricky. We thought it was through the patio and was surprised with a bar and walked lost in the middle of the restaurant. Maybe have a host or server out by the patio directing to the front. If not outside, a server kindly guiding us. Felt very uncomfortable at first not knowing were to go but, live and learn. Great overall experience.

The Baybrook location is not it. No parking. So much other chaos and mall goers around it ruins the ambiance of a nice dressy date night. We asked for main dinning but were sat in the bar where they obviously put the outcast and we were dressed very nice. We were first sat next to a screaming baby at one table and a rambunctious toddler at another. I was ready to leave but they offered us a bar high top over in the corner by the bar away from the kids. When I went to get up in the booth I was leaning in the table for support and it almost completely fell on me, my husband had to grab it real fast. Those tables are not stable enough. Our server was not very attentive and gone often. I m glad the kitchen brings the food when it s ready so we got it hot, the kitchen staff were great! The bread guy needs a raise, he is bringing bread out so fast for each table and it s piping hot, he was great! The food is phenomenal. We got the Houston Restaurants Weeks menu. Husband Onion soup - he said the best of anywhere in the area, he gets that everywhere so he would know. I thought it was good. Pork chop - it s famous for a reason, it s amazing, tender, large, delicious. Chocolate crunch dessert - it s interesting, kind of meh Mine Wedge salad - phenomenal! Super cold and crunchy lettuce. A delicious buttermilk dressing (kind of tasted like miracle whip with herbs), mild blue cheese, very few halved grape tomatoes and only one bacon slice. The bacon slice was decorative but I would have rather had more bacon even if it was crumbled on top.l because you need some bacon in each bite with that blue cheese and lettuce for texture and flavor. I was told by our waitress they sell the dressing for like $9 a pint, we didn t fact check that. Filet - not cooked to medium well as requested, they asked me to cut it when it was served and took it right back to cook more, kind of annoying for a steak house to not cook it right. The steak was returned to me and cooked closer to my request but still a little undone but I decide to eat as much of it as I could that was fine so my husband wouldn t get bored waiting on me. The super hot cast iron plate the steak is served on actually cooked my cut up pieces and when I saw this I turned them on it until it was how I liked. The garlic butter on the cast iron skillet was delicious. The steak once cooked a tad more was so incredible. The asparagus was ok, nothing fancy. The crab on top of the steak was light, sweet, and delicious. Orange cheesecake - this is delicious! The cheesecake filling is so creamy and smooth with a lot of cream cheese flavor. The crust is so buttery and good. The orange topping is a fresh pop of citrus flavor and is very good, refreshing after the meal but kind of strong.

Friendswood location: Well where do I start? I arrived at Perrys during lunch time which was super busy!! There was a waiting line out the door. I came up to the host stand where I was informed theres a wait but the bar is first come first serve. Im like cool, let me see if I can find a seat. There was two empty total.. one empty seat towards the end/ back of the bar next to a young lady. I asked was the seat taken in which she replied yes my friend will be here in a second. I said cool. The other empyty chair had a plate in front of it so i assumed someone may have stepped to the bathroom. I went back to the front to wait. A few moments later a guy finished his food, paid and left. Naturally I went to sit down at one of the empty spots. I sat where the empty plate was at since at least 10 minutes had passed and deduced the guy must have been alone. At that time the bar tendor (Dylan.. Dillion...not sure which spelling is correct) informed me he was saving that spot for a friend. My reply was simple .. I said excuse me, I was told these seats are first come first serve... is that not the case? He replied yes, but he told her he would save the seats if they became available... while I was contemplating having a when keeping it real goes wrong moment a couple next to me said please, take our seats were finished and you dont have to be subject to standing waiting on another seat since hes SAVING those. I said thank you and sat down. A few seconds later the young lady who already had a seat plus saving one for her friend at the end of the bar walks to the front of the bar to sit... Im like wait...dude you were saving seats for people who already had seats during the busiest time of the day with a line out the door??? CMON MAAANNN!! To make matters worst I asked him for a menu that never came. N/E way the other bar tender, Angie, was very polite and attentive. She was the only one who cared to take my drink order or give me a food menu. Angie was the 5- star. Without her the service sucked! The food however was great. I had the pork chop which is why went there to begin with since one of my co-workers spoke highly of it!! And before you guys give Dylan/ Dillion an out and say maybe that wasnt his area of the bar... the young lady who he saved seats for was right next to me and he attended to her and her friends every need... IJS.... Character matters!! He turned what wouldve been an awesome experience into one that made me contemplate spending my money there.

Yesterday, ordered the last day of Perrys anniversary 4 for $44. The mushrooms were great and the Wedge salad was a meal in itself, delicious. I was full and asked for the rest of the meal to go. I ordered chicken Oscar. The chicken was dry, very little lump crab came on it, asparagus was under cooked. My friend ordered the filet minion med rare, the outside was very charred and the inside was very rare, not bloody though. Waiter was awesome, staff was great, ambience was nice. The couple at the table next to us was a bit loud, as the tables for two are so close together. Upon being seated we purposely asked to move a table over from a couple that was already seated and they had plenty of open tables, they sat the other couple between us and the first couple. All of this ended up costing with a cocktail and a soda $153 and some change.

Devourered it and would have liked the bowl clean . The filet mignon steak was good. Didnt cut like butter but was very well seasoned. My boss had gotten the pork chop and it was HUGE! I missed out but will try the pork chop next time. The sampler desert was good but I only enjoyed one. Dont get me wrong love Perrys and recommend them. I am ready to go back and try the rest of the menu. This place is perfect for date night or just going out to treat yourself. Vegetarian options: Just talk to your wait staff and they will assist you. Dietary restrictions: Just talk to your wait staff and they will assist you. Treated my hubby to lunch/dinner at Perrys for Fathers Day with our kids. We had reservations at 3 and we were running late bc of traffic so when I called the lady was sweet and moved the reservation for 330. When we arrived only waited about 2 minutes after checking in to be seated. Really liked the options for kids menue especially since they had Alfredo bc my kids are picky. My husband and I got the filet mignon 10 Oz cooked medium and the steaks were cooked perfect when they came out. I appreciate the hot skillet to keep the food warm, but it continues to cook the steak as you eat so it wasnt really medium any more after eating a little. The loaded smashed potatoes were great, but a little salty and the chargrilled veggies were perfect. I wanted to get a side salad but they said they had a wedge salad ( Im not a fan of a big chunk of lettuce) the waiter offered to have it cut which I was very happy with, he gave great customer service throughout. Did get the creme brulee which was wonderful for dessert and 1 scoop of ice cream for each of our kids. The scoop of vanilla ice cream was massive lol like the size of a pint of ben and jerrys, the kids loved it! Very happy with the meal. Only when the check came I was looking over it and asked the waiter about the $24 price for the 8 fried asparagus which we did NOT get with the crab meat with, He Said that was the price without the crab meat and I looked at him and ask what was the price with it and he was like oh its the same price. I asked him so he was charging us for the dish full price as if we got the crab meat when we didnt? He said sorry and walked away with the check and our card. To our surprise he went and spoke to a manager about our issue and got us $10 off of the check that was above and beyond without us even asking. We had a great family dinner and will definitely be back!

As for the food, it was okay, but not mind blowing that Id expect at their prices. Escargot for example was so overcome by the garlic, onions, sauce and butter you couldnt taste the escargot. My ribeye steak with 3 pepper sauce was a bit over the medium rare expectation I had, so it was okay. My wifes medium rare filet was delicious - perfect. The restaurant environment was very nice. Very busy but moved along quite well. All the customers were sharply dressed. Nice experience all in all but will look forward to a Flemings coming in our area soon!

We also ordered a side of the brussel sprouts and they were awesome as well. Our waitress was Ivanna and she did an incredible job. Also have to give a shout-out to James who was on his second night and was also on top of us and really helping where he could. We had an awesome time and look forward to going back.

Im sad to write this review, but after 8 years of celebrating our anniversary at Perrys, I think we are ready to move on... We went early to beat the crowd because it gets very busy and the tables are so close that it gets so loud you feel like you are in the food court. Our server used the f word several times. My husbands steak came out completely wrong when they took it back to cook him a new one... he had to watch me eat my steak because for the price you pay he didnt want me to wait for him and it get cold. The manager (Im assuming) came over and told us the order was put in wrong and it would be out soon... After this mistake we hardly saw our server and they did not try to right the situation at all in my opinion. Plus we just had a baby so we were very excited and looking forward to this special night out. It felt ruined and unfortunately we will not be back to celebrate our anniversary again next year.

Went with my husband he ordered a wagyu steak and I got the upper choice ribeye. His was full of flavor as mine had absolutely no flavor at all. The steaks were cooked perfect I just wish mine would have had some type of seasoning to it. The waiter kept reaching over our food touching our plates. I even told him I didnt need any more water because it was on the other side of the table he would have to reach over my food AGAIN and he still reached over our food for the water then again to pour the water. He touched the top of my husband water cup and the bread to turn them for absolutely no reason. For such a nice place you wouldnt imagine their would be any kind of insect flying around but towards the end of our meal a nat started flying around our table. Wasnt to big of a deal because we noticed it and it didnt land on our food and my husband killed it but all together it wasnt worth it at all unless your getting the wagyu steak.

First time dining at Perrys Steakhouse at Baybrook mall. Our service was excellent. We had a reservation at 7:30 p.m. and we were actually seated shortly after 7:00 p.m. our waiter Alfonso was on top of it. He made dinner menu and dessert suggestions. We came for our anniversary and there was Rose Petals on the table. We also received a complimentary dessert. All of our food was excellent. The states were cooked perfectly. Their side items are shareable for two or three people. It was a great dining experience. We will be back again.

Visited: Feb. 2023 I didnt make any reservation but they were able to seat me on a Tuesday night. My waiter was friendly and didnt mind taking the time to answer my curious questions about the menu. Due to the incredibly steep prices on some of the food items, I opted for the Ahi Tuna Tartare Tower. The tuna had a slight fishy aftertaste but the flavors packed in altogether was pleasant. The avocado was pretty fresh. Im not sure what the chip was called but it was new to me as a tartare pairing. The atmosphere was lovely and very romantic; the lights were dimmed. Its a nice restaurant for a date.

I have eaten at Perrys Steakhouse quite a few times and its usually a pleasant experience but apparently not on a Monday night. Nobody seems to be able to be bothered for decent service. We were seated by the bar area where the A/C was blasting far too cold. Our appetizers took 20 minutes and the steak another hour, keep in mind there were hardly any customers present to begin with. When we raised these issues to the manager we were met with a rude attitude and our concerns were brushed off. We wont be dining here ever again. Youd expect better service after spending over $300.

My boyfriend and I sat at the bar a few weeks ago..on a Tuesday I think. Forgot to leave a review. We sat down after being told by the hostess that bar seating was first come first serve. Probably didn t get greeted for about 20 minutes. No one made eye contact even though there were maybe 8 people total at the bar..including us. It looked like two bartenders and a bar back were working. Obviously they didn t know that both my boyfriend and I are in the industry..which is all good but I like to believe everyone deserves the same standard of service..even if they look young..especially at Perry s of all places where most people are spending at least $100 per person. We got our drink orders in..and not to be that person but the drinks are sooo sweet. We ordered old fashioneds with rye whiskey and it must have had at least about an ounce of simple in it. For an expensive drink..it was not balanced at all. Probably got our food order in about 20 minutes later. Food was fine, we weren t checked on though. We ordered a bone in NY strip that was cooked rare instead of md rare. Loaded potatoes were good. Everything was pretty salty. We had to basically ask the bartenders for their attention when we wanted another drink. Instead of them checking..we weren t checked on once. We also didn t get waters. We did try and ask but it was basically impossible to get anyone s attention. We had a gift card and we re trying to pay the rest in cash. Typically we tip at lease 30% of the bill but service was pretty bad..so we tipped 20% on about $250. Which was a $50 tip. Not that they deserved it honestly but I believe in karma. It took almost 30 minutes for us to even get a check and then 10 more to get it paid out. Why were we there almost two hours?? We could have been done in less than an hour. As someone who dines out often, I have no idea why I have to get the bartenders attention instead of being checked on. I m not impatient, but this was pretty ridiculous. Super weird being treated like this at Perry s but hopefully your bartenders will understand that service is actually important and most people don t tip well on poor service. I thought that was a given lol. But I m nice and understand they work for tips. I always get fantastic service at the Perry s in Friendswood though. Should have used my card there. No liquor there though.

We spent our wedding anniversary at Perrys. It was a fantastic time. Our server Berto was awesome. He was very attentive and accommodating to our needs. Not only was he a great waiter, but he seemed like a great human being, too. We started out with the spinach and artichoke dip. Such a good choice. Nice size pieces of artichoke. It was spectacular. I choose thier world famous pork chop. Its so big and meaty. To me, if you like pork chops, it doesnt get better than this. My wife had the chateaubriand. It had three different medallions of steak (8oz). Each one had a unique flavor. We also ordered two sides. Their sides are enough for two. The sweet-sriracha brussels sprouts and three cheese macaroni. Both were outstanding. To top it all off, we had the bread pudding for dessert. It was one of the tastiest and largest bread puddings Ive encountered in my lifetime. I know we committed the sin of gluttony, but we went to church the next day and asked for forgiveness. So everything is good. Overall, it was a great experience at Perrys restaurant. I would recommend you try it out, especially this location. Make sure to book reservations if you go on the weekend. They stay busy. Unless you dont mind sitting at the bar. If this review helps you leave me a thumbs up pls.

Loved an evening out at Perry Steakhouse. Our fist stop was the beautiful bar where Dylan made the most amazing Martini and served up some delicious crab cakes. Then our large party had an excellent fine dining experience created by team Nichole and James. I thoroughly enjoyed the wedge salad with tangy blue cheese, followed by the perfectly cooked ribeye steak served on a hot skillet so every bite was.warm and delicious. I highly recommend Perry Steakhouse!

Last time I came, the ribeye was impeccable. This time around, I wasnt a huge fan as it wasnt seasoned well. They redid it for me and the next one was cooked inconsistently which was a bit of a turn off. I ordered medium well and the left side was well..center was medium well and the ride side was still bleeding. Maybe an issue with the coo top. Steak aside, my waitor was phenomenal...I believe his name was Christopher? Short, dark hair, glasses. He was really friendly and very attentive. I love top notch service and he really did a great job so kuddos to him.

My first negative review for anyplace ever. This is our first time at perrys. Me and my wife decided to try it out for date night. We got to the restaurant and tried to check in. We did not have a reservation and received some attitude from the manager at checkin right off the back. They finally got us checked in and told us it would be 25 mins wait. We said ok and waited it out. About 20 mins later one of the front staff called my name but the manager from earlier stopped her and told her to seat someone else. We waited for another 10 mins and when I checked to see how much longer it would be. Manager with an attitude told me that it would be over an hour now. Then he proceeded to tell me that they had people waiting and I needed to move out of the way. We decided to walk away and went to another restaurant. Never going to this place again. There are plenty of other amazing steak places around. Growing up I was brought up with If you dont have anything nice to say, its better to be quiet. This place has managed to bring out the negative.

Honestly the food and service was amazing. The only reason I left 4 stars was because earlier I called at 3pm to make a reservation. A woman took the call and before I hung up I made sure to tell her we were celebrating my wife s birthday. When we got there, the staff, our waiter had no clue. Either she never wrote it down or they have horrible communication. Places like bb butchers, del friscos, steak 48 make sure to note the reservation and special occasions. They celebrate with you. I would return here for another dinner but never for a celebration.

Brought my friend here on 12/14 to celebrate a milestone birthday. We were greeted at the front desk by some of the rudest Perry s employees I ve ever met in more than 30 years of coming to this restaurant (original location further down on Bay Area included). Both a female and male employee were speaking on phones (possibly personal calls) and continued to ignore us for more than 7 minutes. A third employee walked up, again ignoring us and started rummaging through a file box. After a minute or so, I asked if someone could help us as we had reservations. This person acknowledged our presence, and a few minutes later the male employee came around with menus and asked for Bryan(t), party of 2. My reservations were under the name Bryant and I wasn t sure which name he said, so I responded with I m Bryant. He rudely exclaimed YOU RE Bryan??? He then gave me a very condescending look, walked past me to another group and seated them. My friend and I were ready to leave, the 3rd female began to walk us to a table. Even after being seated, we still were not treated as valued customers and again got up to leave. At that point, we met our wonderful server, Humberto. Humberto promised that if we gave him a chance, he would give us the treatment we deserved. Humberto introduced to the GM who apologized for the start of our evening and comped our appetizers. I am so grateful Humberto convinced us to stay! He provided us with celebratory evening I had planned for my friend .the food was delicious, and service outstanding!!
